The property is scenic and has amenities that are outstanding! I love living here because the staff is extremely helpful and the building is always kept nicely and smells clean in the lobby at all times. This place is luxurious and I could not be happier!!

Place looks decent for students rooms are not that big for the amount of money they are charging for rent . Each roomies has their own bathroom . The only problem with this place is water problem. I noticed that is an outstanding issue which never resolved . Students can be left with no running water for days . You heard me for days management would rent a few rooms from hotel next door for student to use for personal needs. It is convenient location across the school if you don’t own a car.

I recently signed up and was not given my 500$ visa immediately, there are no sanitation wipes at the gym; which I highly doubt anyone ever cleans because there is only one maintenance worker in the building. all the office is good for is writing your concerns down on a post it , and losing it. Like this building doesn’t even have security on site.

My only note is that now since cases are going up and the delta variant is a thing that they were more serious with covid precautions, pretty sure I am one of 3 people on my floor that mask up regularly.I’ve got a single room so I may be biased but so far my room has been pretty good a few things were out of sorts when I moved in but management has already gotten most of them sorted. I’m not the biggest fan of living with people and with covid this place was perfect. Everything feels like just enough and just the right amount of space for what a typical college student will be bringing in and what one would accumulate over the course of the year again assuming you’re living on your own and are a mostly no frills decorator because there’s a slight lack of storage. But if you shop smart that’s an easy fix.

If I could give Block75 zero stars I would. My experience here has been terrible. Management has done a terrible job of keeping the building up to code, with the parking garage having broken glass everywhere, where residents can be I injured or their cars damaged. The gym has no sanitary wipes or even spray and paper towels, all the hand sanitizer dispensers in the building are empty. I have seen throw up on the ground for days at a time without it being cleaned. The elevators are consistently not working. The floors and the common spaces are not clean.MOST IMPORTANTLY, we went a total of seven days with no running water. We were told it would be on by day two. I understand that there are unpreventable circumstances, but management did not provide a place for us to stay. They offered 4 hotel rooms for the entire building to take showers, which is very unsanitary and does not take care of the fact we cannot wash our hands, use the bathroom, or cook. Not to mention, this was not an option until day three. We were told to file a claim with the rental insurance company, meanwhile all of management gets to go home to warm running water and has the basic ability to flush their toilets. We pay over a thousand dollars every month to live in this sad excuse for luxury living, but they couldnt spend any of that money towards a place for residents to stay during a circumstance like this. Management declined almost all calls during this time because they did not want to deal with angry residents. We were left with 4 cases of water left in the lobby and management was no where to be seen. I reached out to management following the incident, pointing out their lack of a sufficient solution, and all they had to say was that there was a seven day rent credit given to us. That does not take into account the stress they put all of the residents through and the inhumane conditions we were forced to stay in. There should have been a proper solution from the start, but instead we cannot even get an apology from corporate or management for the conditions we were left in. I am APPALLED by the actions taken by Block75 and Varsity Campus. Living downtown is half the price and you will be dealing with better landlords/management companies. Dont live here, if it were half the price it still would not be worth it.

Very very disappointed with this complex! Have not had running water for the last 24+ hours after it being off for 2 whole days just last week. The toilets do not flush leaving students helpless. The only solution we were offered was 6 water bottles and 4 hotels rooms for 100+ residents to shower in. DO NOT DO IT TO YOURSELF. They will not care about your needs and necessities and will do anything to increase their profits at students expenses.

We just recently haven’t had water for three days, Block 75 property sees us as rent payments and not students. The management causally emails us and tells us to get water bottles after water has been shut off as if they would be sufficient for us. Management has not provided any respectable accommodations for us in the instances where facilities do not work. Management hides from residents during times like these and does not answer phone calls. A lot of positive reviews as seen on google are written by bias staff and are incentive based. Rules and regulations are never enforced in this building. The physical appearance of this building is deceptive to its actual structure. I would high recommend reviewing the lease with a lawyer before you decide to live at block75 they refuse to take an responsibility for any incidents that would threaten continuous payments towards the lease.

- the leasing office looks like the blind leading the blind. Not a single person working in the office currently seems like they have experience doing what theyre doing. As a student it is upsetting that I have to worried about not showering before class, not cooking after class, catching COVID from a highly advertised gym that has no cleaning wipes or spray available. The hand sanitizer pumps at the elevators have not been refilled since quarantine was lifted.- everything highly advertised is dirty, poorly managed, & never cleaned LIKE the parking garages (where you can get glass in your tire from broken glass on the grounds), gym equipment, game room, hallways, elevators.- residents are being told to contact their insurance companies to be reimbursed for this building being cheaply made to the point that at least 3x a year AN ENTIRE PIPE BURSTS.- after block could not afford the trash vendor that picked up garbage at your door, something offered in your LEASE that you signed, they began telling tenants they had to take out the garbage themselves. Thankfully someone pointed out that that was beyond illegal according to the document we signed.- dont give the corporate bodies that own this building your money, you will be upset and you will NEVER meet the people truly responsible for this living experience proudly broadcasted as the ultimate student experience.

This complex portrays itself as a luxury living space that provides a plethora of amenities that aren’t found elsewhere. This is false and the past couple of weeks are indicative of that. The water was again shut off with no warning to the residents. They don’t care and only do small things once in a blue moon to keep up with appearances. Being told to file a complaint with the insurance company is insulting seeing as though we pay thousands of dollars in rent which block75 doesn’t mind taking, even when we are not being provided with basic human decency. Water is not a perk, it’s a necessity and block75 can’t just pick and choose when they would like to provide it. The new management in the leasing office has no clue what they’re doing or how to help with situations like this when they arise. Please keep the recent reviews in mind before signing a lease with them.

UPDATE: Glad to see Block75 has not made any major improvements. There seems to be an older leasing staff on sight (unfortunately majority of previous staff is no longer employed) but their presence has not been beneficial. It’s apparent the owners of block75 do not care especially when there’s been no effort to resolve these negative reviews. Update on conditions: garbage is not disposed of frequently by cleaning staff ( hallways smell)/ elevators are cleaned once in a blue moon ( smells)/ thermostat only goes up to 75*( which is not effective enough to keep these drafty rooms warm)/ garage doors are left open(security issue). See additional photosI stayed with a friend who lives inBlock 75 for a fews weeks ( and visit them frequently) and I was utterly shocked of Block 75’s subpar conditions and their costly rent! During my stay the internet connection was suspended due their system not being update for the number of occupants of the building which seemed improvident of the staff. While the connection was restored, the internet speed/ cell phone reception is still substandard. I experienced better quality on campus dorms. Furthermore, the cleanliness of the building is poor especially amidst a pandemic ( photos attached). The elevators, halls, car garage basement and stairway are dirty and are not cleaned regularly; simply having garbage bins near these locations could improve the cleanliness!!!!!!In addition, the elevators are frequently out of order. However, I want to emphasize my friend’s and I’s experience with the on-site leasing staff and property manager has always been pleasant. I believe this issue is above their duties and I have witnessed them participate in light cleaning. It’s also relevant to note, just a few steps away Auden apartment building is extremely clean( note the two attached photos of the clean hall/ elevator). I’m unsure why other residents haven’t not complained, perhaps they are compliant because they are just happy to be off campus but I feel the expensive rent paired with these conditions are exploitive and the residents should receive a fair compensation. I would be happy to delete this review once Block 75 residents receive the quality that was advertised to them!
