Bloomberg in other cities:
Beautiful facility that has an amazing newsroom and production area.If you visit, try to see the bigger open areas through the back of the floors with working news rooms... the view is wonderful. At Christmas, they also do a beautiful tree in the atrium which is located mid-block between lex and third avenue.
Amazing building and beautiful location. If you want to take a tour of the studios you may need to check in advance because we were told that they exist but have to be arranged prior to visiting.Staff is really helpful and the building itself is beautiful. Be sure to also check out Hutong, the restaurant on the far end of the building at ground level.
Great building, comoany, place to hold and attend events. They have it down if youre attending any Bloomberg events. Extremely well organized, lighting, sound everything is top notch. However, you wouldnt expect it not to be. Ok the other hand only company I know where I can say Ive attended more events that went off seamlessly than any other conference. Given that Bloomberg is a company and not a event space pretty solid to say they dont do anything that isnt executed extremely well.
Bloomberg gets 5 stars for the ample drinks/snacks they provide visitors in their super modern waiting area. But they get 1 star for fostering an office environment which somehow makes it ok for Millennials to wear puffy vests, skinny jeans and Chucks to work. Corporate work is for grown-ups...they need to dress like they care about their job.

2020-02-28Ive been fortunate to visit this spectacular place this month - to attend our WiTNY internship success party. Coming out of the elevator after check-in, everything felt so magical. The cafeteria area was huge and very nicely organized. The interior design was so beautiful and unique. The food arranged for the party was pretty good as well. The hosts were very supportive and played a major role in training and preparing women in tech, as well as towards the overall success of the WiTNY program. I hope to visit this place again. Thanks! :)

2016-12-04Interviewed here for software engineering job last October and I joined Bloomberg in January. The modern office is beautifully designed. But unfortunately Bloomberg has a toxic engineering culture. I left within a year. If you are a software engineer, dont work here ever.

2017-01-31My husband works at Bloomberg, so I get the chance to visit the building regularly. It is not public, so you need to have someone request your access. If you ever get the chance to go, I highly recommend it. Bloomberg is one of the best employers in the city and you can see why people love to work there! They offer lots of fun snacks and beverages (even to visitors) there are awesome fish tanks and great views from the 29th floor.
