Blue Line sports shop has a great tackle selection and very good customer service. I highly recommend you stop in if you are in the area. They also have a good camping and Hiking section of the store.

I stopped in to purchase two one-day fishing licenses. In order to pay, it was cash only or required a purchase of $5 or more. I understand the additional costs associated with using card, but thats just part of the game. Other places I have purchased licenses do not have this policy.

Friendly, knowledgeable, and well stocked with just about everything the weekend sportsman and woman could possibly need to make their Adirondack adventure complete.From camping necessities, clothing, to a wide array of fishing & shooting sports equipment their experience cant be beat! (Theyll even share some of their secret fishing holes and stories if you can weasel it out of them). 2021-04-16Awesome selection of fishing equipment and lures. A little pricey but you wont be able to find what they have anywhere else around here.... Very helpful and friendly staff. The guns and archery department has a decent selection still except for ammunition.

2021-07-08Great place to buy anything related to fishing, boating or hunting. They had a very good selection of lures and fishing supply. They also sold bows and guns. They had many life jackets that you could choose from. They also had a good fly fishing section. All in all a great place to shop.

2021-08-02We had a great charter trip with the guide service Adirondack Troutfitters on 8/1/21. We fished Lower Saranac and caught 15+ small mouth bass all over 2lbs with a few over 3lbs. The weather was cold and wet but Ryan and mate John built a nice fire for us at our lunch stop to get warm and dry. We had such a good time that we are going to try ice fishing this fall with Ryan as well. If you are looking for a skilled guide in ADK definitely look up AdirondackTroutfitters.com you will have a great time.

2020-09-10Fantastic advice and service on archery needs. I feel sorry for people who shop for bows elsewhere and then figure out they need professional help like Matts to be able to tune their bow and shoot well. Highly recommended.

2019-10-20VERY knowledgeable staff that are friendly and will happily share insights as needed. My advise, be modest and let them know you need help understanding how to fish Saranac, they will hook you up (pun kind of intended). I asked the kid there what lures he would use, he picked a few and while it never a guarantee, the ones he picked caught fish! Fun trip and these guys helped make it that way!
