I cannot say enough great things about this place!! BLUE POINT-BAYPORT ANIMAL HOSPITAL SAVED MY DOGS LIFE!!!! Never in my life have I encountered such genuine, loving and kind individuals. My dog was struck by a car in patchogue friday evening and the staff here went well above and beyond!! Dr Ramsden and Nikki went out of their way to assist us as well as PERSONALLY transport my dog to the nearest emergency animal hospital. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?! What other vet does that! I wish I could give you more than 5 stars. You all are our personal angels. I can never thank you enough for caring when we were at our lowest and most vulnerable time.

2020-09-04I have been bringing my pets to Dr Ramsden for many many years, this is my 3rd dog she has taken care of. Her and her staff are incredible and compassionate, I refer family and friends there all the time. Which is why I sent my niece and her new puppy there, her 1st visit is today and she is not allowed in with her dog. Of course I am comfortable allowing my dog to go in and out with the assistants but that is because I am long term customer. How will new patients and their families build a rapport with the Dr if they are not allowed in to meet her and the staff, to have to wait in the car while their rescue pup is taken by strangers. And no my niece was not told up front this is the process or she would have reconsidered.. I am very disappointed and wish I had just let her wait and she could have gone back to the original vet that was taking care of her at the shelter.

2018-05-30Best vet on long island by far! Dr. Ramsden is so nice and knowledgeable. She helped me figure out what medical issues my dog was dealing with and he is finally acting like himself again! They dont push unneeded services on me. They know my dog by name and his history. The ladies at the front desk are always sweet and patient. They are reasonably priced. Just go to this vet you wont be disappointed!

2017-02-21Dr Ramsden is an exceptional vet. Shes brought my cat back from the dead a few times. The prices are high but she will get to the bottom of the problem. The other vet also seems good although we havent used her very much because shes new. They take care credit and have a good insurance plan which is well worth it if you have a pet with ANY issues.

2017-01-11Dr. Ramsden is the best! Weve been bringing our Brody boy for 4 years now. He always receives excellent and loving care. Hes had 2 surgeries and both times he was cared for as if he was one of her own puppies. We are always given many options and we are graciously given the opportunity to opt out of any treatments or vaccinations that we are unable to afford, without judgement. Just loving concern for our pet and for our wallet :) Professional staff, extremely informed about pet care and a warm loving atmosphere.

2014-02-15Hands down the best Vet clinic I have been to. They are always so caring and compassionate. I Love Dr. Ramsden she has saved my dogs lives!!!!!!There is no better doctor around. Holly, Kim, Stacey and Alyssa are always on top of everything and Kim makes it all run so smoothly.

2020-05-12While the care they provided is sufficient enough, I have never, ever in my life of owning dogs had to pay for a follow-up appointment after an initial visit. My dog was treated for an injury and the doctor wanted him to come back to check progress of recovery. I was shocked when they wanted nearly $70 just to remove a bandage (and even telling me it would have been more expensive had they had to replace the bandage...which is a standard gauze bandage that can be purchased at CVS). Literally nothing else was done that could have warranted an extra charge....after I paid a significant amount for the initial visit. Shame.

2017-08-23Dr Ramsdon is a caring and compassionate person who provides wonderful vet care but also spends as much time as needed to ensure that as a fur baby parent you understand anything that you have questions about. The team of assistants starting with Ashley are knowledge , caring and very patient. The office staff are pleasent and helpful. Grateful for this office team!!!
