BluePearl Pet Hospital in other cities:
I have been in and out of ER several times over the last few weeks with my baby and every single time all of the staff and Dr’s were so compassionate. It’s so hard to see you pets in pain and I’ve never felt so understood by so many people. Not only did they take incredible care of my monster (who has a BIG attitude and isn’t easy to deal with) they even offered to send me videos/pictures of my girl overnight when she was hospitalized. When I went to visit her, I saw everyone treating her with love as if she were their own pet. I’ve had bad experiences at blue Pearl midtown (and I live in Manhattan) and I’d choose to drive further to BK over midtown any day because of the staff!
There are three important things to remember about Blue Pearl (and most other animal hospitals):1. It’s an animal hospital and not your neighborhood vet. When you come here you should expect it to be like a human Emergency Department: long waits, busy, and sicker patients being prioritized.2. It’s very costly to run a hospital 24/7, so if you choose to take your pet here, it’s going to be shockingly expensive.3. It’s a hospital and sometimes things go badly. We brought our 13 year old Boston Terrier to Blue Pearl because of serious gastro symptoms, weight loss, and a sudden loss of energy - he was very sick and we thought it was goodbye. We live close by, so they allowed us to go home while our dog awaited an examination with the promise that we could be there in 5 minutes if needed. It took about 3 hours for him to be examined, and he had a serious case of pancreatitis. The doctor recommended we keep him overnight so that he could see a specialist the next day.The specialist was amazing. He spent a full 45 minutes on the phone with us to go over every detail. At no time did we feel pressured to do any kind of test or procedure. He was discharged later that day after being given fluids and other treatments. After 3 days, he was back from the brink of death and enjoying his senior dog years. It’s unfortunate that this level of care needs to be so costly, but you can trust that Blue Pearl will do their best.
My cat was feeling sick for 6 days before I brought her in. I was very scared to take her here because of all the 1 star reviews - while I cant tell you what to do with your animal, I would say personally do Not believe the 1 star reviews. I first brought her to VEG since they are rated 4.2, but I know now Bluepearl is 100% the way to go and that there is a HUGE difference between urgent care and an actual hospital. While I still dont have all the answers about my cats sudden illness, I appreciate how Dr. Joyce patiently listened to all my cats issues, gave us a thorough rundown of her own observations, prescribed some meds to stabilize her, and has made it easy to contact her if I have anymore questions or concerns. Also - I found the price to be quite reasonable. Its definitely a lot, but lower than what VEG charged even though all they did was a blood test. If you are reading this review with a sick pet - I wish nothing but the best for you and your baby, and hope you find the care you need.
Fancy pet hospital that looks like a high security prison. Not allowed to be with your pet when it is being examined. That’s strike one. A pet parent should be allowed to be present when vet examines your pet. One time charge of $255 dollars per visit is very high. For that fee you should be allowed to see your pet being examined and be able to question the vet. Told you must wait one to two hours for them to examine pet, then vet will call you and talk to you. Horrible waiting room or they can leave you in a room alone while you wait for pet examination. Waiting room smelled like dog waste. They offer you coffee or water for high fee, wait and being left alone wondering what’s going on. Had no choice but next time will seek out other place.
I took my dog in who has a history of IVDD for a flare up and was told they dont prescribe steroids which is been what helped during previous flare ups. Instead, they charged me $700 to give my dog temporary pain relief and a medication plan that just plain didnt work. I ended up having to take him to another hospital two days later when his pain increased to the point that he couldnt eat. They gave him steroids and the relief was almost immediate. The unwillingness of Blue Pearl to properly treat my dog in an attempt to force me to see their neurologist and get a $2500 MRI (which was their suggestion if I wanted to get a steroid prescription) is unconscionable. IF YOU HAVE A DOG WITH IVDD OR ARTHRITIS DO NOT GO HERE. I am only giving them one star because the staff at the front desk was so nice and tried their best to help me.
Brought my dog here in the middle of the night because he had bloody diarrhea and vomiting. He was hospitalized for two nights and they took such great care of him. Everyone was so nice and knew about my dog’s status. It was so clean there too. Such a pleasant experience and I’m so glad we brought our baby here instead of VERG, which we’ve been to before. The doctors were all very nice, patient, and always called me back w/ updates. Thank you blue pearl!
Every staff member we encountered at BluePearl was wonderful. We had to bring our dog in after being hit by a bike and she was in very critical condition. This was a horrible experience, my dog is my world and she was very close to not making it. Everyone at BluePearl sprung into action to take care of her seconds. Dr. Stock was fantastic, she knew exactly what to do to immediately repair her pneumothorax and hemothorax (she had a collapsed lung and internal bleeding). She came downstairs and patiently explained everything to us and was so compassionate. Kitty was amazing and very comforting, she assured us that she would care for and monitor Wanda all night (and that Wanda was already looking better!). Sarah was so kind, she promised and urged us to call to check up on Wanda anytime because she would gladly give updates. We left for the night devastated, but feeling confident that she was in good hands.Dr Joyce took over in the morning and did everything she could to make sure Wanda could be released. She was so nice and diligent, she did more x-rays, bloodwork, and exams to ensure it was safe to take her home. I can never thank you all enough. Wanda is sitting next to me on the couch right now and BluePearl is to thank for that. The expertise and care of the staff saved her!
My dog had to have his eye removed because of an eye infection. It was an emergency so we did not shop around for the best price. BluePearl charged us $5000. I later looked up what this surgery goes for and I could not find any costs close to $5000. Shame of greedy BluePearl for taking advantage of worried pet owners during a difficult time by charging an extremely high cost! As for the surgery, my dog survived it but we did have to bring him back because his wound started leaking blood through the stitches. Not sure how common this is and if it had anything to do with how the stitches were stitched. Avoid this place if you can and spread the word to fellow pet owners.
This place is horrible, 24 hour “emergency” hospital my @$$! I went because my cat had an abscess that burst and needed stitches, unfortunately the stitches came undone. I walk up to the door and the front desk lady asked what’s wrong, after I told her she says “you need to pay for whatever is done to your cat”… yes, I know… thank you for that helpful piece of advice. In the end they didn’t even see my cat, told me I should wait until my vet opens. Luckily it’s just an abscess wound and not an actual surgical wound… imagine telling someone with an open surgery wound to wait hours until your doctor opens?!! It makes no sense. I honestly think they looked at me and made the judgement call that I couldn’t afford their astronomical prices(250$ just to be seen) and let me go on my way… because they really made it a point to let me know that there would be a price to pay if I were to be seen, to which I said “ok”.
Blue Pearl is THE BEST hospital to go to for your beloved fur childs specialist. Yes they are very expensive, but the specialists who are all board certified in their specific area are smart, kind, and compassionate both with their patients as well as with their humans. There are NO attitudes with these vets. They are dedicated to your animal and you will get a thorough diagnosis and a workable plan in laymans English.I highly recommend Dr. Joseph Campbell, whos in charge of Internal Medicine... he is an exceptional doctor, very experienced, compassionate, and takes brilliant care of my 5 cats, all who have issues. He answers emails promptly ( and on his off time as well).. there is simply NO ONE better and the most dedicated doctor I have ever met.Dr. Abraham is a wonderful allergist/dermatologist. Also smart and dedicated.Dr. Singletary is an excellent cardiologist. Again, the best!!The ER docs, Dr. Phipps, Dr.Silberstang, Dr. Stock, are so knowledgeable and kind and will calm u down in the middle of the night when u have your emergency. You will be greeted with a warm welcome and massive doses of compassion by the wonderful people who work in reception. Special thank yous to Taylor, Lisa, Nicole, Fern, Rose, Matthew, Kelly, and all the others who work tirelessly behind their computers.. and do their best to de -stress you when u walk in their door.Alaina is a superior manager of the facility; who is warm, kind, smart and does her best to assist clients in any situation, as well as Jaime, the assistant manager.Thank you Blue Pearl !!!! Always there when needed
I was hesitant to go from the comments but my experience was great. They were very clear about my options for treating my cheewinie who was a little dehydrated. They were transparent about the prices before applying any treatment and my puppy was perfectly fine after.
I can barely communicate how awful this place was. My cat was in an emergency situation, I was under high stress, and they offer absolutely no support regarding finances aside from find somewhere else (which thankfully, I did). Their bedside manner was well, there is a chance your cat wont die which is uh. Not great. Dont try to share your customers into submission, especially when they literally cant pay. They were happy to send him home and let him die without any attempt of finding a solution.Anyway. Never go here. My personal recommendation would be VEG, but VERG is right around the corner too, and at least they try to find you a solution.
My poor little kitty had a 3 story fall. They took her in immediately and examined her. I got a call within 30 minutes to discuss the results of the exam. Dr. Katz was so professional and didn’t mind that I was crying nor did she make me feel like a bad pet parent for letting it happen. She was so so knowledgeable. I am also a healthcare provider and was thoroughly impressed with her detailed care of Santana. She also explained cost prior to performing any further tests. It was nice in COVID times that we could just hang out at home while we waited. It was a couple of hours but that’s just because they had to sedate her. When it was all said and done I got an email with an extremely detailed note/plan from Dr. Katz. It was amazing.I was worried because their stars aren’t that high on Google but it ended up going so well I knew I had to make it a point to come leave a good review!
Profoundly grateful for their caring support during a stressful time.My puppy went from zoomie-queen to zombie-pup in less than an hour and I came here because her regular vet was unavailable. In hindsight, my initial behavior was frantic and obnoxious (only because Google negligently failed to censor the scary search results of puppy wobbly lethargic poop pee) but the intake lady was super nice, wrote down all of my obnoxiously delivered concerns of puppys symptoms, and carefully/compassionately brought my zombie-pup inside.Dr. Arias [much love] called me ~15 minutes later to immediately confirm that my best friend for the last six months did well on all of her vital tests and was HIGHly unlikely to die. Just high. Apparently streets in Brooklyn can have just as many joint roaches as cockroaches. (my joke, not his)He kept an eye on her for a few hours to make sure her symptoms didnt progress. What I appreciate most is that during this post-intake stay, when I called Dr. Arias to ask about the possibility of lethal causes that Google said could be mistaken for marijuana ingestion (namely antifreeze and rat poison), he answered honestly. He said that a blood test was available and could confirm, but it would be expensive, unnecessary given clinical symptoms presented vs. clinical symptoms of antifreeze/rat poisoning (which he rattled off the top of his head), and probably more scary for puppy than helpful. It was very refreshing because some of puppys other vets have tried to actively upsell expensive services w/ very little regard for puppys welfare. Dr. Arias was both honest and compassionate in advising against my suggestion of a needless/uncomfortable service. Also, his clinical writeup was most excellent. (pic below)This office and Dr. Arias are highly recommended!!!!!!!
Highly recommend. Our dog was sick on Sunday morning, we called and were told we could bring him in immediatley to be seen asap. The staff were wonderful, they checked him in promptly and constantly came outside to communicate with us on what was happening and offer everyone water/coffee/tea. The wait time and cost of treatment was very reasonable ( so much cheaper than we expected) . Thank you Blue Pearl staff and vets for taking care of our beloved furrbaby.
My sweet fluffy one ate some raisins, and after three hours at our regular vet we received a referral to come to this location for 48hr monitoring. I called at least three times a day from Wednesday-Friday and everyone was so kind, patient, and attentive. I couldn’t be happier with the care that my Clara received and how easy it was to reach out to her medical team!Special thanks to Sarah, Victoria, and the entire front desk team, and to Drs. Campbell and Smith!!
Taking on a pet is to love and care a little expensive but payable, i left home to this place they call an e.r i didnt had no option where to go since this was close to me. I call before going to this place explain what was going on ask how much was going to be 148, i know it would be more then that so i took 300 i wanted to take more but i was in a rush to go save my dear cats life. When i came the lady hit me with the Cpr bill if she stop breathing i forgot how much but for sure was a lot, after that 2000+ 24hr to save her its not an emergency situation if its not pay! Yet still told them i only had 300 came back with a 1000 deal for 12hr. The thing that hurt me was that the dr said i need to hurry up because she is upstairs dieing they basically left her alone with pain meds that didnt work i know because she was still in pain what was the 148 for the dr talk or to really do something. This place shouldnt be there if they are money hungry instead of really trying to save a life, i left that place broken i love her so much and miss her all i saw in this place was pay pay pay and then we will help i have told my friends and social media about this place unless you dont have 5000 they wont help, the only thing i hope was real the lady who said im sorry for your lost, that its not your fault, sometimes its okay to let her go. i wont down without a fight until i see this place close shouldnt call themself a e.r at all. This is my beautiful cat Demi Rosie i never ever hurted her i had her as a gift for my birthday i worked hard to keep her happy and my other 4 cats she left behind a baby boy , older daughter , oldest son and a grandchild and us my family . .
Pleasant experience from booking an appointment to leaving. They were able to obtain my cat’s primary vet records without me having to do anything and were transparent about pricing and processes through everything. The doctor walked me through everything on the phone and was happy to answer any questions I had.I can’t speak for their emergency department but having an appointment scheduled was great.
I had to take in our cat on a busy Saturday for a skin injury. They took care of her entirely during the initial assessment, as it wasnt a bad cut. Total time there was just over an hour. I found them super-nice and professional, and the total for the emergency visit was less than the usual fee for a checkup at my regular vet. Would recommend.
Do not believe the bad reviews!! I have been to this location for 3 emergencies and I have always received excellent care. Especially this last visit. My cat came down with cluster seizures and I had her in and out of a different ER over the weekend but came to Blue Pearl Monday morning in hopes I could see their neurologist through the ER, after taking my pet in they informed me unfortunately their neurologist would not be able to see my cat. They still did the exam but free of charge and Dr. Wohlstadter even wentnoutnifbhis way to come from the Er to meet with me to discuss how to get her the care she needed. AND he followed up both with my veterinary clinic as well as me personally multiple times the same day! (All for a patient they did not charge)On top of all this the staff at the front desk, Lisa and Luisa went out of their way reaching out to other clinics in search of a neurologist who could see my cat ASAP.Happy to report they were able to secure me an appointment within a week.Again, this clinic is excellent and the staff truly is exceptionally caring and professional.
I would give zero stars if I could. The clinic seems disorganized, and it seems that the staff members don’t communicate with each other so that information falls through the cracks. I brought my sick kitty here for treatment and she was ultimately euthanized. I received a call two days later from someone in the financial office, who told me that they were able to negotiate my bill lower, and that I would be getting a partial refund. I was also told by the veterinarian Dr. Sokol, on the night she passed, that her body care fees would be waived because I had already paid many thousands of dollars for her failed treatment. The financial office still charged me and refused to investigate the issue any further, saying that they “don’t recall those conversations” ever happening and that the charges are still due, since it’s essentially my word against theirs. The financial department here will squeeze you for money after your pet has died, and conveniently “forget” information that doesn’t serve them. Take your fur babies elsewhere.
Its worthy to note that these poor reviews fail to acknowledge the fact that this emergency hospital is operating at 50% capacity under unprecedented conditions. Even with a longer wait time, I would return to BluePearl. My dog was treated with the upmost care and diligence. In fact, I received the most thorough write-up debriefing our visit that I ever have in my dogs 12 year life. The staff is kind, patient, and hard working. I would give them 10 stars if I could.
If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. You should be shut down as a hospital. I cant believe you can even call yourselves a hospital. I brought in my dog because she couldnt breathe well, and they gave me a bill upfront for the oxygen she was getting. They care more about getting their money than caring for my pet. Shortly after they refused to run the appropriate tests for her condition because I couldnt afford a bill of $8,000, they just let my dog die. You refused to care for the dog and you refused to listen to my concerns. If you love your pet and you want them to LIVE, do NOT, I repeat do NOT bring them here to die. This is the worst place I have ever gone to, with the worst treatment, the most rude and inattentive staff, who is strictly focused on money. You should all be shut down for your abhorrent service and I pray to God whoever puts their pets under your care gets them back in one piece and alive, because my pet wasnt this lucky. I will live with the pain of losing my beautiful dog for the rest of my life because you refused treatment for a medical EMERGENCY. Shame on you.
I came first thing this morning with my dog who couldn’t stop having (bloody) diarrhea and while, yes, it’s incredibly, incredibly expensive, I was impressed with the standard of care. Not only was the vet extremely kind and patient, but he was so thorough, discovering a lump on my dog I had never felt before and having it biopsied on the spot. It took a long time, but the sheer amount of time the vet spent with me getting my dog’s entire medical history and answering every question more than made up for it. again, i know it costs a literal arm and a leg, but this is kind of to be expected with an emergency animal hospital, and really any quality pet care in the united states, new york especially.
Absolutely lovely. Dr. Lis one of the best vet specialists weve seen. We were able see her, talk with her about likely scenarios and treatments. She was exceptionally professional, but also hugely empathetic - especially when she delivered the news of our fur babys cancer. All of the reception, vet-tech, and sanitation staff were top notch professionals. All of the facilities were clean and free of odor.I wish I could visit when the circumstances werent for dire, but they made us comfortable and helpful for a tough time.Couldnt recommend harder. WTH is up with this sub-3 star rating?
We came to this hospital after our puppy was vomiting and had diarrhea from likely ingesting fabric from a toy.Staff was very kind, compassionate and loving with our pup. We were seen around 11 pm at night, which is not the easiest hour, but they were calm and patient with us. The doctor and staff answered all of our questions, and reviewed all of our options with us, including financial options. It was incredibly helpful to wake up this morning with the doctors notes and recommendations sent to my email.Hopefully we will never need to go to the emergency vet again, but if we have to, we will certainly come back here.Thank you all for your help!
If I could rate it lower, I would. My dog has been here once- it was during quarantine so I could understand the outside waiting room. However it was 3 am, snowing. And theres more than enough room to social distance.. Cant let a girl come stay inside with her dog in single digit weather? Now. I come again and am turned away while my dog is bleeding after getting attacked. Terrible service. Call before you go.
I just picked up my sweet kitties from BluePearl after they ingested lillies. It was 10 pm at night when it happened and BluePearl was one of the only places only. From the very beginning, they were very kind and communicative with me. I was so scared for my kitties’ lives and they really did wonders to reassure me. I was always able to speak to a doctor or a nurse when I called to get updates. Yes, this place is expensive. But so are human emergency rooms. They were up front with me about the cost of the services and when I explained to them I couldn’t afford it, they negotiated the price with me until it was in a range I could afford. Most importantly, my cats got the care that they needed and they treated them and me with so much kindness. I had a really great experience here and I will definitely come here again if my pets have any kind of after hours emergency. I really want to stress this to people who aren’t sure whether or not to come here after reading so many bad reviews. Emergency care is expensive whether it’s humans or pets! But they are up front with you with the cost and willing to negotiate. Thank you BluePearl!!!!
Everyone at Blue Pearl has been amazing !Im excited to see the new location. I think it would be super helpful for pet owners and staff to have a parking lot. There have been many time where Ive had to drive around for 10 plus minutes trying to find parking even having to park in a garage for a quick followup. If willow was in real dispare it would be terrible to have to try and find parking when time is of the essence. Just food for thought with them opening a new location that has a large piece of property next to it that could be a great parking lot for this exact purpose.
Always have had a great experience here. The staff is warm and calm and I feel like they are so good to my kitty. They have many services on location. I needed to get my cat an MRI and on our first emergency trip they were able to handle. This really helps with the convenience, and not causing my cat distress with multiple visits (or waiting to address the issue)I also saw several comments about how the staff addressed the price several times before treating the pet, and felt like they were being profiled. I can see how they would feel that way but I was extremely grateful that they made sure I was aware of the cost before I agreed to any next steps and I was thankful they stated the costs before I had to ask.
**Avoid this place if you love your pets**I don’t want to give any starts if it’s possible. They charged me $100,000 to the “usual” surgery for my dog, but I lost him at very next day. Before the surgery the vet said this is a very simple and usual surgery and my dog will be fine in highly chance, but after the surgery the vet said unexpected things happened and his life is in danger. The only good thing was I could be with my dog when he’s gone.If you are looking for a good vet, please go to other animal hospitals. This hospital makes you feel that your loving pets will die tomorrow and there’s no time, and charges you an unreasonably expensive amount because they know you would do anything for your pets.
Long story short: We brought our dog Bella here on a Thursday with lethargy, not eating.. They told us they didnt know what was wrong, she stayed overnight Friday/Saturday. A Dr recognized she is very sick but the next day, the IM Dr had us on the phone for 25min ($270 cost just for that call) and said he didnt know but nothing serious for sure 5 days later we had to put her to sleep (in a different clinic of course)...My dog was there 3 days, literally dying and nobody saw it and nobody gave her pain meds which breaks my heart, they gave her zofran and acid reflux medication...The experience of taking your pet here is simply traumatic...Yes, they just care about money and how to milk tests and hospitalization. There is a fake 5* review that is in all Blue Pearl Hospitals of NYC talking about how patients don’t have “compassion” for the vet field..I mean... who are the vulnerable ones? You take your pet extremely sick and all you hear is fees, costs, and money... Do you want to talk about compassion? How many dogs/pets have you left untreated because family ran out of money due to of your abusive fees before doing anything meaningful for the dog? Like mine, 3 days and 4K bill there was no treatment (except for zofran and acid reflux med) and Bella was extremely sick. $2,7K for overnight stay with 2 fees for nurses, 2 for Dr, 2 charges of $80 each for blood pressure..?? IV and acid reflux meds...$2,7K and nothing meaningful/uselful... My dog didnt even have pain medication and she was literally dying..We took her home, not looking better at all, and watch her which is the same they do there after all. Next day she was worse, so we went to a different vet who instantly started her on antibiotics, steroids and pain meds; that gave her some spark for a day or so... It wasnt even a $250 bill; that vet was more proactive and went straight to do something that will have a result. The rest is history, she seemed better for a day but she declined rapidly which showed they missed something seriously wrong. 2 days later we put her to sleep. At least she had pain meds for 3 days and was home with us instead of being on a cage with useless zofran and IVWe told Blue Pearl in all honesty we couldnt advance too much money up front (Im 8 months pregnant, money is tight). They told us they couldnt bill insurance, which is a LIE, they cam they just dont want to.. They eventually agreed, we paid 10% upfront and they will charge the insurance the rest (which should be the freaking normal). We already paid $600 the day before towards our deductible. Saturday night and 10min before picking up Bella, they tried to overcharged $950!!! luckily I work in insurance and I know how deductibles and reimbursement work, Alex from finance is not only rude but totally incompetent, he miscalculated our final balance 3 times in less than 5 min, he told us: $950, then $600 then $400 (all wrong) He hang up the phone on me and literally left the office before we got there, shameful. As of today, they still owe us over $200... In short: Claim was $2,7K, They got $2,5K from insurance and they tried to make us pay $950 (I refused but still paid $400 which is wrong)So, this is what you can expect from Blue Pearl: They will overcharge you, they will try to extend the stay of your pet so can to charge useless fees, they will start doing the less meaningful tests and treatments so you will come back or keep going. I know vets mean well but man... why would you recognize Bella is very sick and dont even have the initiative to give her some pain meds instead of an acid reflux! She was barely walking. But you surely charged several nurses and Drs fees meanwhile. It breaks my heart to think she was there alone for over 24hr away from us on her last days, just fattening a bill with no useful treatment. She was too sweet of a soul for this.I have to recognize, one of the employees, Andrew, is great and helped me with payment, it warms my heart to know he was with Bella for some of her time there. This is Bella

2022-08-23Hear me out - nobody wants to bring their pet to an emergency room. Nobody wants to have unexpected financial strain associated with a big accident. But - it happens, and my experience with BluePearl was excellent.I was in a complete panic when I arrived, and the front desk staff was so warm and understanding. I was immediately brought to a private room with my dog, and a vet came to check me in within a matter of minutes. Before performing surgery, the vet ran me through an estimate of my entire bill (they even offered a payment plan if needed) and calmly walked me through what they thought could be adjusted if finances would be a concern. My dog was in and out of surgery within 2 hours and is having a great recovery. He doesn’t do well with kennels, and I thought he would at least be traumatized by that component. He is doing well and I’m so grateful for the care this team gave Ollie. There are plenty of options for emergency care in the city, but at the end of the day BP is meticulously clean, has an excellent team of professionals, and my dog was safe. That’s worth it’s weight in gold to me.

2022-08-22I recently made a frantic visit to Blue Pearl Emergency at 2am on a Friday night. From the moment I buzzed the receptionist I felt like I was in good hands, again it was 2am! My poor dog had uncontrollable bloody diarrhea and vomiting. He was seen right away.Like any emergency situation I knew it would be costly but I do not think that should be a surprise. The doctor sat with me and answered my many repetitive questions and was able to confirm the price for each test. She was patient and kind.We left around 4am and while the night was absolutely terrible Blue Pearl really helped me feel at ease. The bill was high, yes, but that is what Pet Insurance is for!

2022-07-02My 15 yo stinky boy has gotten amazing care at BluePearl Pet Hospital. All the staff have been very professional, compassionate, and listen intently. It’s no easy feat to see your baby have to go to the doctor, especially if he hates every moment of it, and they’re pros at both comforting him as well as me. The action plan for care have been very comprehensive and thorough. Dr. Cambell is one of the most knowledgeable and efficient vets I’ve ever worked with. Even when I expressed financial limitations, they work with you on adjusting treatment that makes most sense for your pet and also for your financial viability. I’m so grateful for their level of organization and compassion.

2022-06-07Great service and attentive staff. Keep in mind — this is a VERY expensive place. Make sure you have pet insurance or emergency fund for your fur friend. My large chow chow 70lbs stayed one night with treatments, scans, meds, and service. Total ~$10kThank you to the team for their candor and support. Can’t thank you enough!

2022-06-28I’m so grateful for this hospital’s existence!I brought my dog as an emergency after swallowed a plastic piece with trouble breathing and vomiting!Eventually, it wasn’t something serious and he didn’t need to be seen by a doctorThey provided him a check up with smile and patience just to make sure he is ok and thankfully everything went well🙏🏼But of course I have to mention that they didn’t charge me for a single penny although they had every right and reason!I’m grateful and thankful that I had found not only a pristine hospital that is ready to help but also people that actually care about animals🦮🤍🐾

2021-11-28I took my sick cat to this hospital after an accidental Rogaine (Minoxidil) poisoning (would not know if the doctor didn’t have a similar case in August). My cat was taken in as soon as we came and we were placed in a room waiting for the doctor. The doctor came in and explained that my cat was put on oxygen right away and took the health history of my cat. Then I was given the estimate for overnight stay and paid the average which later was reimbursed a bit since my cat unfortunately died. While waiting for the doctor we were offered water and other beverages, we were able to see our cat before leaving. I took my other cat there the same night who was exposed to Rogaine as well but made it through in two days. My cat was placed in an oxygen cage on continuous IV Lasix, had a warm bed, a litter box and was offered about six varieties of food and yummy snacks. Special thanks to Dr. Schreffler and Dr. Joyce for taking their time to explain my pets’ health condition and to answer all questions as well as answering phone calls or giving a callback. Special thanks to tech Kitty for taking exceptional care of my kittens. Thanks to Sara on the front desk for asking if we needed water and for communicating our issues and concerns to doctors right away.

2022-03-17My cat Lockdown Larry saw Dr. Abraham and her technician Victoria for a complicated ear issue that he has. She was extremely thorough and did a fantastic job with him. She answered all my questions and reviewed all of the treatment options. I left feeling well educated about his issue and how to treat it. Be patient and kind and your service will always reflect it! Larry and I give them 5 stars!

2022-01-26Excellent experience. My cat recently swallowed string, so I took him immediately to the vet ER because my usual vet had no openings. I called the front desk ahead of time, and they were ready for me when I arrived. They took great care of my cat and patiently walked me through every option possible. They truly cared and kept me calm as through the whole process. With that said, this is the equivalent of a hospital for pets. It will cost more than a regular visit, but it was worth it for the immediacy and care in the moment. If I have another emergency, I will be back.

2022-02-24I had a horrible experience here. My partner and I came here with our cat, as we checked in they took him away from us instantly and put us in a room. No one came to talk to us for 3 hours when someone came to show us prices. About 2 hours later a doctor finally came in saying that they had done an ultrasound (which we came in for). We were frustrated because they didn’t warn us before doing it and no one talked us through what it would be like. They then proceeded to have us wait another hour before bringing us our cat and giving us a MASSIVE bill (please please make sure you are financially able to come here this is the most expensive place we’ve been to). When we got home we saw that they shaved our cat’s stomach completely, which is to be expected but they never communicated this to us.This whole experience was a ton of no communication, being separated from your pet the whole time even when they aren’t examining them. and then paying a bill that should not be that expensive. please look into other places to go to. I personally like VEG, much better communication and compassion. They walk you through everything.

2022-03-23Great experience here. During our visit, they were very thoughtful and helpful. Our dog had been throwing up and they were able to see us right away. We were in and out within an hour. I would call ahead if you can to see how long the wait is.The vet was thorough and laid out all scenarios. When our dog was still showing symptoms the next day they were able to quickly prescribe another medicine via the phone so we could pick it up right away. The facility was also very clean and modern.
