Amazing little store. Kicking myself in the butt cause I started this hobby a few ,months ago and I didnt realize that they were so close to me. Their display tanks are impeccable. This is my new LFS for sure. Ive been there a few times and they have been nothing but helpful. Thanks!!!
The display is nice, they have a variety of fish and coral, however they have an ick outbreak. The amateur hobbiest in me wanted to buy things there, however they filter their tanks all together. Its disappointing reading such wonderful reviews of a place, then getting there to see ick in their tanks.
This is truly the best fish store your gonna find anywhere in New York City. Besides the tanks being extremely clean and clear and all of the livestock fish and coral healthier then any Ive ever seen before the staff is beyond helpful and friendly. You can ask them a million questions and get some of the best advice for your tank even if its the more economic way, I have never felt pressured or mislead into buying anything. The family who owns the store has been in the business forever and can help you solve any issue you may run into and they seem sincerely concerned and happy to help. The greatest part of this store however is the selection, more then likely they have it if they dont have it they can order it BUT BEST OF ALL THEY CAN BUILD IT!! Whats better then telling them what you have and what you need and having it built on site just for your specific needs!! It doesnt get any better! Great store amazing staff HIGHLY recommend!
Place used to be great. Last 3 times I’ve been there ray hasn’t been there and every good looking coral is “not for sale”, even the frags. Such a waste of time. Needless to say I will be taking my money elsewhere.

I bought fish from them on Monday any by Wednesday they were all dead they had ick went back to tell them and all they said was ill give you a little discount when you come back to buy more fish I spent 130 bucks for ick infested fish not happy at all

2020-03-15This place is small but clean, tanks and fish are impeccable which is more than you can say for the other stores around. This place is saltwater only. I cant believe this place has been open for a few years now and I didnt know that it was here. I always trek to Manhattan for my stuff..This store is one of the best in Brooklyn to pickup frags and saltwater reef equipment. It’s small but don’t let that fool you- it’s always clean and the owner Raymond is dry knowledgeable and always willing to help. They now have a freshwater section.The store is always clean and the tanks and clean and well maintained.

2018-09-16This place has such beautiful fish, I was completely mesmerized. The tanks are sparkling clean, and the guy who works there said all the employees really put a lot of effort into keeping them that way so that youre guaranteed to get healthy, happy fish. He also helped me with suggestions on setting up a 20 gallon saltwater tank and explained how I can do it much more easily than I thought.

2019-03-07Really nice local fish store. Ray and his mom are very knowledgeable about fish and coral. The tanks are clean and the fish coral are some of the healthiest looking I have seen in Brooklyn. The sell everything from fish food to high end aquarium lights. If you need it for your tank they will have it or get it for you.

2018-01-16Was their yesterday late afternoon. Traveled for one hour and a half and was excited to see their selection and the reviews looked great. I was a little disappointed when I got their, their where 3 guys working but seemed like no one cared that I was their. Maybe they thought I was some crazy person just looking at their fish.. lol... I had to say excuses me sorry to bother u everytime to one off the guys that was feeding the fish when I wanted to know prices and info on a certain fish. His answer was I am not sure let me go ask. I asked him for about 5 different fish but he seemed not to know anything about the fish nor prices. Well i decided just to study the fish on my own and purchased 3 fish. Price Was not to bad I paid about 150 for 3 fish. Wished they had giving me a little more info and attention since I was the only one at the store. Or at least had told me ( let me know if u have any questions or need anything,) so I didnt feel like I was bothering them. Will return tanks where very clean, fish looked in great shape. I will defiantly give the place another visit.

2017-04-03Not only knowledgeable but helpful, courteous, insightful and understanding. The tanks and over all store appearance was clean and well kept. I will not go back once, but a thousand times. What a great experience for the novice saltwater hobbyist that I am. An absolute great overall experience.

2017-04-29Amazing new store in Brooklyn. Ive seen a lot of LFS opening and closing in the neighborhood and this is by far the best Ive encountered. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable people and the store is super clean and well organized. The livestock looks extremely healthy and tanks are very clean. I purchased an orange back wrasse and bangai cardinalfish from them yesterday and they were out/eating right after introducing to my reef tank. I highly recommend this store and wish more people find out about its existence.
