My wife and I had a great experience purchasing her new Lexus UXH. I called Bob Johnson after getting the run around from my local Lexus dealer. I started working with Tom, one of Sales Managers and was transferred to Meghan Garofalo. Meghan was fantastic and the whole process went smooth. They even found the car with the color (Atomic Silver) and specific options my wife wanted. We picked it up in less than 2 weeks. My wife loved Jodi, the Technical Advisor who showed her how to work all the items in her new car. I would highly recommend Meghan and Jodi if you plan on a new Lexus. Service Advisor Katie Sherman was absolutely wonderful to work with. She kept me up to date on everything being done on my recently purchased 2019 GX460 luxury edition. She was extremely helpful and thorough. I purchased my vehicle out of state at a Lexus dealership, as there were none available in town with what I was looking for. Having mechanical problems on arrival home, I called Dorschel Service, and was immediately given an appointment. The recall fuel pump had been replaced out of state before I purchased the vehicle, but was done incorrectly. Katie gave me a loaner, and within 2 days, I had my vehicle. I would also like to thank Tech Bob Lasky for a job well done. Its very much appreciated! Ive been part of the Dorschel Group for over14 years having previously owned 2 Toyota 4Runners. Now, I love my Lexus!
We purchased an NX300 from Dorschel Lexus this week, and not only are we extremely pleased with our car, the purchasing experience was one of the best weve ever had. After having a horrible experience at Dorschel Nissan years ago, we were dreading going back (and almost didnt). Apparently they keep all the good salesmen over on the Lexus side of the building. Our salesman was William Barish and Id recommend him to anyone wanting an easy, lowkey, yet informed and comfortable purchasing experience. He facilitated the sale in a professional manner once we were ready to buy. There was no pressure. As he said, These cars sell them selves, Im just here to help you once youre ready to buy And he was right. Go see Bill! He rocks!
Mark Freitas, a salesman at Dorschel Lexus, nearly talked us out of buying a car after we agreed to pay the dealers full asking price and accepted their offer on our trade-in without dickering. The car was a certified used 2019 Lexus 300ES hybrid. We did our homework on comparable cars, reviewed the CarFax report and drove from Buffalo to take a test drive. It was a nice-looking car and we were excited to make the purchase. After we agreed to the price, Mark pushed too hard to sell us an additional extended warranty. He spent much too long showing us photos on his cell phone of things gone wrong with Lexus vehicles at the Dorschel service department. It was like viewing autopsy photos of automobiles with disassembled dashboards and their electronics guts strewn all over the floor. Mark succeeded in making the point that all the technological upgrades in luxury cars increase the likelihood something will fail and repairs are very, very costly. We wondered why were taking such a risk in buying the car. My wife was literally in tears and had to walk away. Ultimately, we bought the car. Another dealership employee, Noah, completed the transaction with us. We have had the car for 3 days and so far we are satisfied with it.
Have had several car buying experience with Dorschel before, including a used Grand Cherokee and a Bmw x1, their prices are very competitive as a dealership. Recently went into their service department for a repair on my Lexus IS 250. In general, I dont really trust all dealerships as many of them are notorious for upselling unnecessary service. And I did have really bad service experience in the past with West Herr BMW and Mercedes in Rochester area, their technician steal my stuff in car, upsell services and their attitude are really bad, they also try to charge my friends $3000 dollars for a dead battery. So this time I went to Dorschel only because I have a Lexus specific problem that normal shops cant diagnose, I expect I will have to refuse some unnecessary service suggestions from Dorschel to get my car repaired, but TO MY SURPRISE, Val is very HONEST with my problem and did not try to upsell me anything unnecessary like many other so called Stealerships did. And he even offer me a very nice loaner because the repair is going to cost some time, (This never happened at West Herr, they never have available loaners, even though I purchased a high end M4 from them, what a joke). The repair is high quality, and I am very happy with the service, will definitely visit Keep visiting dorschel in the future!Plus I also have a very polite email to ask for my experience and complaints every time I visited Dorschel. And I am happy to share, this never happened at West Herr,. As a car guy myself, Dorschel exceeds my expectation as a dealership. My suggestion, choose Dorshcel and avoid West Herr at all Cost if you are car shopping in Rochester area.Thank you Val and Patrick
We worked with Ron Waters to purchase our new Lexus RX 350. It was a real pleasure working with Ron. He was extremely knowledgable and sincere in helping us to find the right car for us. He even gave us some tips on how to recover the unused portion of our extended warranty on our previous car. Throughout the process, we felt like Ron had our best interests at heart.
My family experienced disgusting service at this location. They went at 10am to purchase a RX350L model car today. Mark was the sales associate assigned to them. My parents are not native to America so they speak with accents but can communicate fluently in English. They cannot write in English which is why I am advocating for them. Mark first told them that the model was not available.Then he proceeded to show them older models. After having interests on one of the cars they asked for more information. Mark proceeds to say theres 45 people waiting for this car. If you want it you have to put the deposit down now now now now now now. He said that phrase over and over again. This was before they had even discussed a price or gone into further detail. Mark then prints out the paperwork after being asked multiple times by my parents. He said once again that they must put a deposit down ASAP. My parents at this point did not feel comfortable and felt that they were being rushed and cheated. They told him that they would need more time to decide. As many of you know buying a car is a major decision. At this point Mark RIPS up the paperwork right in front of them. Marks treatment of them was utterly disgusting and rude. I have no idea what made him act that way. Maybe he was just having a bad day. This was such an unfortunate situation as they were so excited to shop for a new car. My mom said it is so sad to see in this day and age humans treating other humans in that way. We will 100% be taking our money to another dealership.
I had been a long time customer of Dorschel Lexus and while things go well they have been fine but the moment things dont go so well they do not stand by their own work. I have had a set of tires for only a year which have consistent edge wear across all 4 tires. The service manager indicated that it was likely a bad alignment until I pointed out that it was them that had done the alignment. There was an alignment done by another Lexus Dealer but Dorschel verified that alignment had been done correctly only a short time afterwards. So tires no good after only one year from Dorschel. They did offer a discount on new tires of less than $100 off a new set which is a joke. Terrible attitude and lack of follow up from the service manager Patrick. It took multiple calls and follow up from myself over the course of two weeks to even get such a lackluster response. Whats worse they responded to my last review with incorrect facts such as exaggerating the mileage.
The salesman really wanted me to drive AndroidAuto with the demo car. However, I did not want my data transferring to a car that I did not own, but he claimed that when I unplug my phone, that that clears the data. This is NOT correct. You must use the cars infotainment system to clear personal data. In addition, the salesman spent significant time having us just watch videos about the car on his computer while he was doing other things. It was very weird, and Ive never experienced anything like this. And lastly, he made incorrect technical statements about Lexuss hybrid system. And finally, the salesman used a confusion tactic when (trying to) negotiate costs. Its safe to say that we did not feel like we were getting an honest experience nor did we feel valued as customersEdit: Responding to the response: Thank you for the response. This was definitely the correct dealership. I was accompanying my client, whose name was used on all of your documents, during the sale that fell through. I am not surprised that you say that your salesmen arent supposed to show videos. I agree: it was very odd. The salesman did encourage my client to connect their personal phone to the car and then encouraged me to do the same. I have no problem with that. But I do have a problem in how the salesman thought he had cleared the data when he did not do so completely.
We decided to give Lexus a try after becoming frustrated with BMW from a maintenance/repair standpoint. I work in Boston from time to time and first tried a Lexus dealership in the Boston area and was pretty disappointed with the experience - the sales manager struck me as highly disingenuous. At first I was a bit taken aback by Dorschels no haggle policy but actually felt in the end that the deal was fair for both sides. I combed around online looking for positive references of specific salespeople and came across Ron Waters name repeatedly. I decided to use him. I wasnt disappointed. Hes a straight shooter. Zero tricks. Zero surprises. No last minute gotchas. Ive bought a dozen cars over the years and this was the best car buying experience Ive had. Id recommend Dorschel Lexus and Id recommend Ron Waters. He was great to do business with.
I had a great experience working with Dorschel. I couldnt get anyone at 2-3 Lexus dealerships to help me find a white IS 300. Once I found one Dorschel worked a trade to get it in their possession. Process was simple and streamlined with great customer service. Thanks and big shout out to John and Mark.
This is my third review and third lease with Dorschel Lexus. Dorschel Lexus has once again proven why they are the best. The amazing, professional, hassle-free, honest pricing, customized service is why I keep returning. I moved to Florida one year before my 2017 lease was complete. The friendly customized care that is second to none, made my decision to drive from my new home in Florida, back to Rochester NY to lease my new 2019 ES 350 premium sedan, an easy one. Cheryl Carney was amazing, insuring that everything was ready for me upon my arrival. She checked in on me while I was driving up, and checked to insure I arrived safely back to Florida, Joseph Kane was patient and followed up to make sure I understood how to use all the technical features while I was there and when I returned to Florida. The great people at Dorschel like Cheryl and Joseph are the reasons that I am a customer for life.
Purchased from Dorschel Lexus back in 2010, then went to BMW in 2015. Liked the 2020 RX350 redesign. Met Dorschel salesperson Cheryl Carney at the 2020 Rochester Auto Show. She was very patient and answered many of my questions. However, the Covid-19 outbreak temporarily halted my vehicle search. Cheryl did contact me a few times during the shutdown, informing me as to when the dealership would reopen and did answer lingering questions I had. I did purchase the 2020 RX350 when the dealership reopened. Cheryl was great to work with throughout the whole process. Joseph Kane and John Chapin were very helpful in regards to delivery and technical questions.

My dream car was the Lexus RX 350. Ive been dreaming of the day I could get one. I did my research and made an appointment online to view one. A representative called me to verify my appointment and I was so excited!!! The day of my appointment I met Mark Reussow and he was amazing !!! He actually let me test drive 3 different cars and I never felt pressured at all! He actually ran some numbers for me and found me a better deal and for a less payment. The process was so smooth and seamless and I drove my new beautiful L- certified 2016 RX 350 the very next day!!! I would HIGHLY recommend Mark and Dorschel Lexus ❤❤
I just leased a new Lexus RX 350. I was considering a Lexus or an Infiniti but wasnt sure what model I wanted and would be best for me.Ron Waters helped me to make the selection. It was easy and a great experience doing business with him. He was most helpful and accommodating to my schedule. In a couple of days everything was in place. He helped me from beginning to the day I picked up the car last week. He took the time to explain how it works and it was a great experience. Bought new Lexus NX300 last week from Dorschel Lexus in Henrietta, NY. Great experience. Love the comp check pricing and 110% percent price guarantee. Even though it is very difficult to compare cars apple to apple, it made us feel more confident buying the car from Dorschel. To be fair, we checked nearby dealer prices online, and Dorschel was usually on the top.Our sales consultant Mike Peterson was great. He never lost patience with us. Always smiling. Accommodated all our requests, answered all our questions (if he did not know the answers, he found out from others), and really helped us make our decision. Joseph Kane who went over the features of our new car and helped us set up everything was another pleasant experience. He was very thorough and patient. Explained everything in simple terms and made sure we understood. Told us to contact him if we had any questions after going home.In closing, we have been Toyota family for almost 30 years. That is because these are great cars to drive, highly reliable and with great resale value. Saying that, we drove Mercedes and BMW before deciding to buy Lexus. I have purchased 4 Lexus cars from Dorschel. I love my cars and I love Dorschel!Just walking into Dorschel is up lifting. It’s a really positive energy there - regardless of whether you find yourself in the showroom or Service Dept.The sales staff is wonderful. Personable, professional, and sincere - no pressures and no up-sells. Cheryl Carney in sales sold me my fourth Lexus and if patience is a virtue - Cheryl has wings!What really sells me on Dorschel is the Service Dept. Wasn’t super crazy about an issue I had with a service supervisor there once. I felt unfairly treated in that instance. However, the service staff themselves are awesome. Jim Mistretta is professional and seems sincerely, to want to help in any way that he can.Alex Hagan in service consistently, every time, goes the extra mile for customers and it was his customer service just recently that confirmed my choice to buy another Lexus. Alex .. if you read this .. you are the BEST!Wherever I find myself in the future, if I need (and can afford!) another Lexus, I won’t buy it from any dealer other than Dorschel!Thank you Dorschel .. 5 stars from me!
Chris Rocco was the best. She is so knowledgeable, and helpful and goes the extra mile for her customers. I have bought a few cars from Dorschel and its always been the best experience. I will not buy from anyone else besides Dorschel at this point, I have always had good experiences with their sales department and their service department.
Excellent experience! Actually was met by John, one of Dorschel Lexus Sales Managers who introduced my husband and I to Michael Peterson, Sales Consultant. Mike was a joy to work with and we actually drive home in our RX 350 L SUV. Would highly recommend Dorschel Lexus.
We bought our first Lexus this week, but the car sold itself, no thanks to the salesman nor the treatment we received during the sales process. We came to Dorschel on Monday morning with a good knowledge of what we were looking for in a car, and we were expecting outstanding customer service. We were the perfect clients; we had researched the inventory, we found what we were looking for in the lot, gave it a test drive, and said, let’s buy it. Our salesman was pleasant but not knowledgeable and certainly ignorant of company policy and the sales process. He gave us several pieces of information that were later proven incorrect, the most egregious being that he refused to negotiate price, claiming that Dorschel always prices their cars under Blue Book value; we have since found this to be untrue. When we could not complete the sale in a timely manner, we agreed to return Tuesday at a specified time to complete the sale and pick up the car. We made it clear that we had another appointment in Rochester on Tuesday and that a timely transaction would be needed. When we arrived on Tuesday, the salesman was completely disorganized and unprepared for us, and we were delayed repeatedly. Another salesman stepped up to help, only to find that the paperwork submitted by the first salesman had to be redone and resigned. After two full hours, resulting in my being significantly late for my other appointment, we drove off the lot only to find that our first stop was at a gas station to fill the empty gas tank. We currently don’t have an owners’ manual, despite emailing and texting both salesmen to ask its whereabouts. My sister is in the market for a new Lexus, but based on our experience, she will not be going to Dorschel. Had we not found the car we were looking for, we also would have gone elsewhere. The car is perfect. The company is lacking, and the customer experience is painful.
My first experience at Dorschel Lexus was a pleasant one – thanks to Matt Reeves.As a Lexus owner (2004 ES), I went to Dorschel to test drive the 2014 ES Hybrid (es300h) since I was looking to purchase a new(er) car by the end of the year.Matt was easy going and knowledgeable about the car and showed me all the key features on the drive, which are quite extensive.For fun, I decided to see what Dorschel could do to get me into the car.To make a long story short, it took two additional trips (and a lot of emails) to get the car with the options I wanted (and the ones I did not want). There was only one car in the country with my requirements and they found it for me.The buying experience with Matt/Dorschel was fantastic. Never did I feel rushed or pressured. Matt worked with me to get the car I wanted at a fair price. Matt went out of his way to answer emails during off hours and made me feel like I was the only one he was dealing with (when I know that was not the case). I also want to thank Matt’s manager (Ron Waters) for his help in making this transaction possible.My suggestion to those looking for a car is to visit Dorschel and ask for Matt and you will be well taken care of.And if you are looking to buy an ES hybrid, act fast – they are flying out of the dealership.
I recently purchased a 2015 RX 350, and found the experience at Dorschel to be the best car buying experience in nearly forty years of such transactions. The salesman, Matt Reeves, was extremely pleasant and there was never the slightest pressure nor gamesmanship that had characterized many of my other car buying experiences. I also had very favorable interaction with manager, Jonathan Hakes, who worked with me on the trade in of my prior vehicle, and did so in a transparent manner. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend Dorschel Lexus to anyone considering a luxury vehicle.
I live in the Syracuse area, but I always drive to Rochester to buy my vehicles from Dorschel, and specifically from Chris Rocco. She makes it easy to work through the process. I simply submit the necessary information to Chris ahead of time, and when I arrive to purchase my new car, the paperwork is already filled out, and all I have to do is sign a few documents, and I am on my way. I always feel like I get a good deal, and I am always treated with the utmost respect.

First let me say that my new Lexus ES300h is superb! I left Lexus for another make in 2010 and although I liked the car, it could not compare to my previous Lexus. I will never leave Lexus again.As far as my buying experience at Dorschel,I can honestly say that I was completely comfortable and had the opportunity to test drive the models I thought I was interested in. When it came time to make a decision, pressure was non-existent. The delivery process was thorough and complete when I took delivery and I have been delighted ever since.
Dorschel Lexus is one of the most pleasant no pressure car dealership Ive patronized. My wife and I have purchased 2 new Lexus fro William Barish during this past month. He is a kind, considerate and honest human being. The IT staff is incredible with the knowledge of todays fast pace technology for cars. We highly recommend Dorschel Lexus & John Kilbury for your next vehicle purchase/lease!We were originally looking to purchase a Toyota Highlander Platinum edition but couldnt justify the price for what you were actually getting. We decided to start looking at Lexus and are glad we did! We stopped into Dorschel Lexus on a Saturday morning and were greeted by John Kilbury. John was absolutely amazing to work with! We had been to multiple dealerships around town & couldnt find one that we were completely happy with, until now! John was very knowledgable and able to answer all of our questions. We test drove several vehicles & decided we liked the RX350 the best. We came in looking to purchase but after John thoroughly explained how leasing worked, we were sold! We ended up leasing a 2017 RX 350 and absolutely love it! John was able to get us a great deal & explained all the rebates/offers on the vehicle. John handled all of the pricing/paperwork for us (theres no middle man/sales managers involved in the process)! We picked up the vehicle two days later and John handled all of the final paperwork & walked us through all of the features of the vehicle. We never felt rushed or pressured at Dorschel Lexus! We are actually looking forward to coming back in 3 years to work with John again when its time for lease turn in!
This is the fourth Lexus my wife and I have either purchased or leased from Dorschel. This experience was as positive as all the others. Our leasing consultant, Chris Rocco, was extremely helpful through each stage of the process beginning with test drives and vehicle selection and finally with the paperwork part of the process. We ended up with a vehicle we are very happy with and would highly recommend Dorschel Lexus to others.
I leased a new Lexus GS 350 from Dorschel. The entire buying experience was painless. Matt Reeves was great to work with, and Ron Waters, the sales manager, was also great to work with. So much better than the old experiences of haggling, walking out, and wasting time. Matt did an excellent job explaining the car to me, sharing the pricing information and closing the sale in a very efficient and courteous manner.
I reached out to a client representative by the name of Rebecca with whom I discussed an interest in a particular vehicle. As an out-of-state buyer, I made very clear repeatedly over the span of three phone calls that I would like updates on the status of the vehicle so that I wouldnt make the trip if it was no longer in Dorschels inventory. After receiving verbal confirmation from Rebecca that she would let me know if the vehicle sold, I felt confident enough to make the drive to Dorschel. The day before the drive, I called Rebecca and verified that the vehicle was still available. The following morning, an hour into my drive, I called to let them know I would arrive that afternoon. I later received a return call from the dealership telling me that the car had sold the day prior. No one had bothered to contact me in regards to the vehicle and the only reason I realized was because I had made a fourth phone call. Unprofessional behavior for an established dealership, especially after I made it explicitly clear that I would like to be notified of a sale. Im very disappointed in the conduct of this dealership and their lack of consideration towards clients. This is not how business should be handled and is unacceptable. My time was wasted and the day lost.
Purchased new car and received great service so far and I have received a great deal on a new car. Great Staff. Glad I no longer do Business With Valley Cadillac or own a Cadillac. Best decision I ever made. Your service dept. is the best. Alex Hagen is a great employee. Spent lots of time to make sure I understood things about my car.

Matt was very knowledgeable and so much fun to work with. He was able to locate the exact car I wanted on a ship to the U.S. Matt was very responsive—keeping me up-to-date on the status throughout the process—he even texted me a picture of my car when it arrived at Dorschel. I always dread buying a new car but my experience with Mark Reussow was fantastic! He is very easy going, genuine and overall just a great guy! I came in with little to no idea on what i wanted besides i needed a car by the end of the month. My day with Mark felt like more of us finding the right fit not just trying to sell me a car. Dorschel Lexus was a good dealership to buy a car from. The car I purchased was awesome and I got a good deal on it. There were a few issues with my new vehicle, but John Marriotti (Sales Manager) was excellent in making things right. I am leaving a three-star review not only because of the issues with my car (that were resolved), but more importantly my sales consultant. Unfortunately, I was with Chris Rocco and once my car started having problems she stopped replying. Its been over two months with my car and I still do not have my registration, I have tried reaching out to Chris, but I am pretty sure she has blocked me. I would go back and purchase from Dorschel again, but would exclusively work with John.
Recently I leased a 2013 Lexus from Mary Faggiano. Mary made the experience enjoyable and stress free. I was in my new vehicle within hours, feeling confident that I made the right decision. She made every accommodation possible that needed to be done in order to have the car ready and have me out the door enjoying my new ride.Several issues needed to be addressed and Mary made a point to ASAP them. Paperwork was in order, her explanations were clear. I would highly recommend anyone who is interested in a Lexus to seek out Mary at Dorschel. Her positive energy yet, no pressure attitude made my car buying experience great.
I recently purchased a used car at Dorschel. This was a certified vehicle which I was unfamiliar with but now have a great appreciation for. Natalya and her associates were terrific in teaming up to assist me in the purchase. Having been a serious shopper and will comparable cars available I feel great about the deal I got and the service I received from both the Infinity store and the Lexus store. Great follow up too.
I have wanted a Lexus for quite awhile and I found the one I wanted at Dorschel Lexus. It is a 2015 IS 250. My wife and I traveled 90 miles to see and test drive it. The whole experience was smooth and simple. The salesman, John, was personalbe, no pressure and knowledgeable. We wrapped the deal up and were on our way in a couple of hours. The car was delivered to us at the time he set up. I cant describe how good our experience was with Dorschel and am looking forward to future dealings with Dorschel Lexus.
Its always hard to reach someone in Lexus parts and getting information on service prices. Service liaisons always seem very unknowledgeable of just about everything. I have now began to deal with Northtown Lexus way in Buffalo, NY a hour away. Called Brad in Lexus days ago with no returned call.
It was truly a great experience dealing with Dorschel with the purchase of the LS 500 I recently bought. Bill Barish in sales was very accommodating and helpful. John Chapin went the extra mile going over the myriad of technological intricacies the new vehicle offers. Even though I live in Syracuse and have previously purchased a Lexus from the local dealer, I decided to travel to Rochester for this purchase. It turned out to be the right decision. We just finished our 2nd lease with BMW and decided to look at our options for an SUV with Lexus after little interest by our BMW rep in helping us move from our 328 i to an SUV . Wow, this girl was fast and efficient. Gave us exactly what we were looking for without any BS. Knew the vehicles inside and out. She took us from looking to buying without involving any other Lexus representatives. Wish it was always this easy. Kudos to Chris Rocco. Give this girl a raise.
The Lexus sales process was great, the follow-up no so much. I was very happy with the pre-owned 300h that I purchased. The price was very competitive, and the salesperson and sales manager were both quite helpful. The reason for the three star review and not five star is because of what happened after I drove the car home.The day after I picked up the car I took it to a car wash. When the car wash was finished, I noticed two rust spots on the hood. Not huge spots, but it was definitely noticeable. The car only had about 5,000 miles on it, so it was as close to brand new as I could get it. The rust spot obviously was covered up prior to delivery, but it was covered with with something that was water soluble (shoe polish perhaps?) because as soon as I went through the car wash it washed off and the spot was visible.I took some photos of the rust spot and e-mailed them to the salesperson, and I never heard back. A week later I forwarded my e-mail to a different e-mail address at the dealership and again I heard nothing. I then decided to call earlier this week, so I called and left a voicemail message for the sales person, and that was 2-3 days ago and I still havent heard anything.I can understand that the car had a few thousand miles on it, so I didnt expect it to be perfect, but I also didnt expect them to cover up an obvious defect instead of repairing it before delivery. To add insult to injury, now the dealership wont return my calls or e-mails.I though the sales process itself was very good, but I drove 2 hours to do business with this dealership. Im not sure if I would do it again.
EDIT: their service department is very lax and unprofessional, slow to respond to emails, lots of upselling, slow to do anything. A service advisor has not responded to my emails in two weeks for an ongoing thread for no reason at all, he asked for documents regarding a key programming, I promtly sent them. Havent heard from him since. I switched to northtown Lexus in Buffalo; the difference is night and day, they are prompt, courteous, cost effective, and faster service. Most importantly they are a LEXUS service center, not 4 different makes and models. If you want to spend as much money as possible, go to bob Johnson, otherwise go somewhere else.The dealer was such a rude person, she didnt want to help us at all. She assumed that due to the way we looked (not race) that we wouldnt buy a car and gave us no attention. Very rude.
My experience at Dorschel Lexus was my first time ever leasing a car. I cant express enough how simple and fast the process was. I went in on Monday to look at the 2014 IS 250, and by Friday it was in my name and was able to drive off with it!John Kilbury made this process a breeze! We couldnt have been happier with our recent experience at Dorschel Lexus - but then, it came as no surprise as we began dealing with them 7 years ago when we purchased a 2004 certified Lexus with 26,000 miles on it. The 130,000 additional miles now on its odometer represent many months of extremely comfortable travel exploring this country from border to border & coast to coast. The efficiency & courtesy of the service department were outstanding as we visited for routine maintenance & minimal repairs. We were reluctant to part with her, but when my husband had the car in for inspection a few weeks ago, he browsed the showroom & found a certified ES350 that offered all the comfort of our 2004, but had even more amenities. He spoke with sales rep, Hillary & arranged an appointment for us to take the car overnight to try. It was love! We returned a few days later to pick up the car. Every single bit of paper work was ready for my signature & Hillary spent a good deal of time with us, walking us through all the new bells & whistles on the vehicle, She was an absolute joy to work with - extremely knowledgeable & if she did not have an immediate answer, she knew exactly where to go to find it. She is certainly an asset to the Dorschel family. By the way, we kept our 2004. Shes now official transportation for our ever increasing number of new grandchildren ;-)

I recently bought a pre-owned Lexus with the help of Jonathan Papkin. I found him to be knowledgeable, trustworthy and good humored. I dont take my cars anywhere else to get serviced! The customer service is great, they always get me in a loaner car comparable to my car (Lexus) until my car is done, and Im always satisfied with the work that has been done! Not so happy with the prices lol but they always try to help with some sort of coupon or discount.

Because my wife walked away without a scratch, we decided to buy another RX450H. I called Mike Peterson and explained the situation to him and asked that he replace the car with the same specifications and features. Within 2 days of my instructions to Mike, the car arrived. He, however, had to move me to a 2019 vs. the 2017 that was destroyed. As usual, Mike demonstrated his expertise, his respect and professionalism throughout the process. There is no doubt that Mike has made us permanent Dorschel and Lexus customers.
We are so very pleased with our Lexus, but I know that its a necessity to keep it well maintained if its to last us for the years were hoping to have it. Weve taken our 2016 Lexus RX350 to the Dorschel service department a number of times now and and have always had superb service. Im not exaggerating by any means. Our service rep Max Chizuk is an outstanding professional who is a genuine people person. He is a joy to interact with. Yesterday we had a scheduled maintenance and Treatment 1 which is a hand wash, hand wax, vacuuming and an interior cleaning. To say it was outstanding is an understatement. You HAVE to get one for your vehicle to know what I mean. Even the floor mats were cleaned and treated AND never had windows so clean. I want to know their secret for that. Ill look forward to my next appointment.

Bill answered all of our questions and John put together a decent trade in offer on our old Lexus that allowed us to upgrade to a newer, lower mileage RX350. Cannot heap enough praise on Chris Baker for the time he spent with me on my initial visit and at delivery. He is a real asset to the organization. However, I cannot say the same for John Marriotti and Bill Barish. As a previous Dorschel customer, I was insulted at the offer they made to me after letting me sit alone for 25 minutes. All of this advertising about a new way to buy a car is misleading.After the deal was made with Ron Waters, he was the epitome of professionalism and a pleasure to work with; what I have come to expect from Dorschel. He found the car I wanted, took care of all the paperwork and assured a smooth and timely delivery process.My new 2017 Lexus ES 350 is less than a week old, but I think I am going to love it. Mark, my sales representative was very professional and low key so no real pressure. He explained all the various options for the NX 300 which I leased from him. He also took the time to deliver the car as expected and I was also introduced to the technology manager who was very knowledgeable and took his time showing the countless features the vehicle has to offer. Not the largest or luxuriest Lexus dealer Ive been to, but the staff here are efficient and friendly! I came in an appointment for routine maintenance and was in and out in less than 1.5 hours. Also, the service here is spectacular! They also have a small cafe area and were giving out complimentary sandwiches today! Definitely all my expectations were met.
Who likes car shopping? Not me! But had no choice as my lease was running out. After frustrating HOURS of looking at different cars, my husband pulled into Dorschell Lexus. If I could give 0 stars I would. Me and my cousin went there to test drive some cars because we were looking to trade in our Mercedes and Audi for some Lexus cars. We didn’t know we had to make a appointment to test drive but the lady upDirected us to a salesperson named Mike. He sat us down and asked what we wanted and I was looking to lease a car and my cousin was looking to buy a car but we wanted to test drive the cars before considering, we had just come from the bmw and Mercedes and they let us test drive there cars without any problem but for some reason Lexus did not let us drive for the liability reason which was understandable cause my cousin was underaged. He decided to come back a couple hours later with his parent to do the same exact thing to test drive the cars because it was him who was trying to buy a car and got the same response from another salesmen they just did not act like they wanted us to buy a vehicle from them and I just hope no one else goes through this. To buy a vehicle people have to test drive them and by the way Lexus treated us seemed like they did not want us to buy a vehicle from them.
This past week, I visited Dorschel Lexus to receive some diagnostic services on my 2005 RX330. However, I was not helped whatsoever, and the entire time I felt like the service representatives were pushing me to leave, and be somebody elses problem somewhere else.Over the weekend, while I was pulling into a gas station, my vehicle had slowed to a stuttering stop, rather than a smooth transition as I applied the breaks. I had previous suspicions that my wheel bearings were going bad, so I took my vehicle into Dorschel Lexus for service. After explaining my situation, I handed my car over to a Dorschel representative to have the issue investigated. They brought out my car after about 45 minutes, and explained that there didnt seem to be anything wrong with my bearings, but there was a concerning sound coming from the front of my car, which came up wwhenever the gas pedal was pressed. However, despite my full hour of diagnostics not being up, the mechanic wanted to take his lunch break, so they brought my vehicle out front and asked me to leave. I expressed concern about the noise, and asked the service representative if there was anything I should do. He shrugged me off, and in more polite terms told me to go the hell away. However, over the next two days, the problem only escalated, until my car was nearly stuttering along as I held the gas. I brought my vehicle back, to get it looked at again, to be told that I had a serious drive train issue: a seal on my transfer case had leaked, and nearly all of the lubricating fluid had leaked out over the past few days. However, by this point, there was permanent damage to my transfer case, and I would need to have it replaced, which would cost at least $2,700. If the mechanic had simply investigated the issue when Id come around the first time, I probably wouldnt have needed such extensive repairs! They probably could have just replaced the seal and refilled my transfer case with new lubricant. And again, a second service representative just took me and my vehicle outside and pushed for me to go away and bother somebody else.On one hand, I get it. Its a 2005 with 106K miles on it. Things like this happen. But I really feel like bringing my vehicle to Dorschel was a huge mistake. The entire time I was at this dealership for service, I felt like the service representatives just wanted me to pay my bill, and go away. They knew there was an issue, and rather than helping me resolve it when they had first noticed it, they pushed me into leaving prematurely, causing me costly damage which could have easily been avoided.
Be aware of the service sale associate!!! ( they all are sale reps). There is always something additional to be done and paid for with any service you do with them, even if your car is new and low mileage. Next time I will go to other Lexus dealer in town. Oh, how convenient for them their is no other other dealer in town.
John Kilbury was a fantastic sales rep and he helped me get into my new IS250 in under 2 hours. Between walking in the door and driving home I barely had enough time to go eat lunch while the paperwork was finished (They even took care of returning my rental car for me).The car is awesome and I love the Dorschel group. This is my second car purchased from them and I will be returning in the future. You really cant go wrong here and they always bend over backwards to help you out.
Dorschel is a class act and so is Mary Faggiano! A longtime Lexus owner, this was my first time working with Mary, and I will definitely work with her again. I know she has lots of clients, but she always makes me feel like Im the most important one. A true professional with a big heart, Mary is the reason Id buy from Dorschel. (although next time, that Alfa Romeo may be calling my name!) Thanks for great customer service from the sales department, AND the service department. Ivan was GREAT working with us after we were told on the phone that the car was certified. I did feel we had to work to get some compensation, though. I did contact dealer with a question about the remote windows down setting on the fob and no response yet ( 2 days later ).

This was my first experience purchasing a vehicle at Dorschel Lexus. My salesperson LaShonda Love- Moody was totally awesome! She worked overtime with me to get me in a new vehicles despite some major obstacles. She went above and beyond the call of duty to make feel comfortable with my purchase and to understand all the financials. I purchased the car that I have always wanted and I didnt have to settle for less. I want to personally thank Lashanda as well as the finance team for making this happen for me. I came here to get a realignment on my car but the car was still steering the the right a little. Two weeks later, I called Max from the service department and we set up a time to redo the alignment free of charge. I was very satisfied with his customer service skills and overall service.

I recently purchased my second RX 350. The entire process was seamless and working with Christine Rocco was a pleasure. I had been internet shopping for used cars for 2-3 months and finally test driving. I have talked to four different dealerships and there is no comparison. The salesman, Matt Reeves, knew the used car I was interested inside and out. He was well informed, knowledgeable and friendly. Other sales people I have dealt with didnt know how to put seats down, werent aware a latch was broken, etc. The overall process was effecient, clear and easy. We own two Lexuss right now and didnt need the song and dance on the CPO 2010 RX 350 I found on their website. When I got to the dealership to look at it in person, Hillary my salesperson was very accommodating and answered all my questions thoroughly, and if she didnt know, she made sure she found the right person in the know. All the paperwork was ready the day I picked it up....financing and all. Just a touch disappointed that they couldnt throw in a set of weather-tech type floor mats considering the wintery conditions at the time and what I got for my trade in. Ive driven it for a week and all seems just fine. Hillary responded quickly to any after-the-sales questions by email. All in all, I would recommend not only the vehicle, but the dealership.

John Kilbury made it very easy for me to fly in from out of state to acquire the exact quality car I was looking for, at the price I wanted to pay. I was picked up from the airport by the dealership, took a final test drive, signed a few documents and was on my way home. All of the financing, taxes, fees, out of state registration, etc. was taken care of by Dorchel behind the scences, making my experience stress-free.

John Chapin is a true guru to tech, and I am thankful for his patience in training a non techy. My head was spinning when I left with all the cool bells and whistles at my fingertips. Love my new car; rides like a dream.
I drove all the way from Buffalo to this dealer and we found the car we loved are sales person Bill was awesome but his manger who said he is a general manager he was so unprofessional and definitely no experience as far as how customer service works i will never go back to this dealership and report them to Lexus my negative review is for John the guy who said he is general manager.they should consider a more customer service friendly manger for Lexus location
Leased an Rx 350 and have previously leased Rx400 and Rx 450 hs. all of them have been great to own. Just as or sometimes more important is the dealership experience. Sales and service there are a team and very professional.. Matt Reeves my salesperson was well informed and patient in guiding the purchase decision. He was fun to work with and great on follow up and all the paperwork was in order as quoted (not always that way on some leasing experiences). Combine Matt with Jim Mistretta a service manager(world class) who I have dealt with for years and you have a great team working for you. They make for a pleasant buying experience.
Giving them 2 stars because the service department had been fair with me If you would have asked me yesterday I would have given them at least a 4 star rating but after dealing with a bait and switch today I realize they are like most other car dealers and I am very disappointed.

2022-04-22We had such a wonderful experience at Bob Johnson Lexus service. We were passing through Rochester when the dashboard showed up an engine malfunction. We took it to Bob Johnson Lexus service and were immediately attended to by Brad who was so pleasant and welcoming. He saw to it that it was arranged to be fixed asap. We were impressed by the quality of service and in less than 2 hours we were on the road again!

2022-02-16I bought a Lexus IS500 from them remotely. I placed a deposit in ~September, and got the car in Feb. It is enthusiast car during COVID. They honored the MSRP and made the transaction as smooth as possible. I was telling my partner, if we want to buy another Lexus, even Im paying the additional transportation fees, I will consider Bob Johnson Lexus for my next purchase.

2022-04-01I worked with Cheryl Carney at Bob Johnson. My husband and I were not looking to necessarily to purchase a car right away. We were shopping around for possibilities in the near future. We started our exploration early because of the car shortage. We knew there was a strong possibility that whatever we liked would need to be ordered and could take up to 6 months to arrive. The Lexus dealership was our 1st of about 10 planned stops. We did not get a chance to test drive anything the 1st time we went because nothing new was available test drive to . A few weeks later we got a call from Cheryl to come in to test drive the new Lexus NX and a few other vehicles. We test drove and went on our way. She was not pushy, nor did she try to convince us that we should buy a Lexus or any of the other cars shed recommended to us. After visiting several other dealerships and test driving many other vehicles. We decided we liked the NX and our experience with Cheryl best. When I contacted Cheryl to order a vehicle It just so happened there was one available. She worked hard (on her off days and after work hours) to get us a great deal. She laid out every possible option available for us to obtain the NX. I have been buying cars for over 25 years and this was hands down the most enjoyable and stress free buying experience! He also was patient in getting my old car traded up for a Lexus ES 300H. Would 100% recommend going to him.Dorschel was also on-point with their price. Right in the middle in pricing used cars when i cross-checked with the NADA used car pricing data.

2022-05-04I purchased a certified pre-owned Lexus. I have 20,000 of free maintenance. I have only had the car for 3months and already put 10,000 miles on it. I have already paid for one oil change myself. They cant get me in for a simple oil change for 2 weeks. Dont trust these guys for servicing your investment. Imagine how backed up they must be if you need something real done on the car.Super disappointed

2020-06-19Worked with Chris Rocco to lease a new 2020 Lexus NX. This was by far the easiest car buying experience we both have had. We ended up test driving several vehicles, went over numbers, and even looked at other vehicles outside of Lexus. We were not pressured to purchase anything, believe that we were given a very fair price for the vehicle, fully went over the pros/cons of the models we were looking at, and were very pleased with the experience. There was not any back-and-forth when discussing price of vehicle. Chris worked with us to determine what model worked best for us and if we should lease/finance. She was very helpful and we will definitely be back when the lease ends to discuss future vehicles with Chris and Dorschel Lexus.

2021-11-23After buying my last two used RX 350s from Buffalo, I decided to buy(a 2019) this time from (Bob Johnson) in Rochester. They are a larger dealer and had 8 more used RXs to choose from. For me, it worked out better, having that variety. I didnt feel like I was settling. Mark was a great salesman. He taught me a few things to look for that will help in future purchases. The 45 minute tech training (By Bob?) was an added touch that I didnt expect. He helped explain the navi/phone/radio system instead of me fumbling in it for weeks. Even though there was no negotiating, their price was within $100 of the retail price. The trade-in value for my 2015 was much higher than I expected. The car was very clean and had minimal scratches on two of the wheels. I did my own financing, so that part of the deal was painless also. Overall, I had a good experience at this dealer. I will definitely return there for my next purchase, and I recommend them to all those interested in a fair deal.
