This was by far the best repair service I have ever received. I had to bring my 4Runner in to fix a dent in the rear lift-gate and get the rear window working again. Dan was super helpful and was able to get the work started right away. I got to meet Jason, the technician who did the repairs, and he was very polite and professional when explaining the issue. It didnt take them long to fix everything and it all looked perfect. I dont normally write reviews, but I was so blown away with every aspect of this repair that I had to let them know. Being in the military I have lived all over the country and this, hands down, is the best experience Ive had repairing a vehicle. If youre trying to figure out where to get your body work done, this is the place. Great price! Great staff! Quality work! No comparison!
My vehicle was hit by a deer... I am beyond thankful... To the Dorschel Collision Shop in Henrietta New York.. they worked with my insurance company back and forth and got a very fair price from my insurance company to fix my car... It was a very pleasant experience. And when I went to pick up my car... To my complete surprise and amazement they washed and clean my car... It look like the day I bought it... Thank you.. to all that participated and taking care of my car!
Couldnt be happier with my experience here. Had a cracked windshield and Safelite told me the part was on back order for SIX weeks. Called Dorschel and they had the part in stock, had it installed and back home not 24 hours later. Very professional, clean install and they did a good job transferring the registration, inspection and and ez pass to the new windshield. Hopefully I wont need any more glass repairs but if I do, theyll be top of list for me.
If your looking for a reputable collision and repair shop Dorschel Collision is the place to go to.Dan Sorokes and his team went above and beyond. My vehicle was rear ended and I for sure thought it was totaled.Dan and his guys told me otherwise. Dan himself went back and forth with me during the process of repairs. He kept me updated on what was being replaced, what steps were next and so on.I myself am very meticulous when it comes to my vehicle so Dan knew where I was coming from. The guys in the body shop took their time and let me tell you my car looks brand new again. You could never tell anything happened. I am very pleased to have dealt with Dan and the guys in the body shop. Thank you all for the great work performed on my vehicle!!!
I had my truck repaired at dorschel collision did an awesome job. Only took about a week where as most places would take two to three weeks. Steve Sargent made the whole process easy and kept me aware of every thing. Ill strongly recommend dorschel collision to all my friends and family in the future!
We brought a mini clubman ALL4 in after it had been T-boned and suffered significant damage. While the interior of the car was not intruded into-it is a very well built and safe car-the damage to the exterior was so significant that the metal actually split at the bottom of the left rear door from being stretched so far when it was dented inward some 6 inches or more.Steve Sergeant, the Assistant Manager, was our contact, and was the guy who tracked the repairs. His service was just slightly short of completely amazing. He called me every three or four days to update me on exactly what they had done, what part they might be waiting for, and what they expected to happen next. He called me more often than I wouldve checked with them! Our insurance company had covered the cost of an Enterprise rental car- conveniently located 20 feet from the desk in the collision center- so we were not in a screaming rush to get the car back. The degree to which they kept me in the loop was something I have never experienced from a place like this before without making inquiries on my own. They finished the car almost a week ahead of their estimate. When we went to get it, we looked at it from different angles, with the light reflecting on it in different ways, and you absolutely could not tell that any work had been done. This is impressive when you are replacing the left rear door (among other things) on a 3-year-old vehicle, because the paint has to have faded at least to some degree. Nevertheless, it matched perfectly-and we knew exactly where to look.Their initial estimate, looking at the car, was that it would be $8000 to fix. It actually came in at $5200. Yes, the insurance company was paying it, but wow. When does this ever happen?!When we took the car in, I pointed out some spots on the front right side door-having nothing to do with the accident-where the door had been multiply dinged by the door of another car, and there was a little bit of paint loss. I asked Steve if he would let me know what it might take to take care of those. He said that he would. When we went to pick the car up and they handed us the keys, I remembered that we had not discussed that issue. I brought it up, and Steve said oh, we took care of that for you. They touched it up and rubbed it out, and unless you know exactly where to look, you cant find those spots any more. The whole car looks like it came off the assembly line last week. And they gave us the leftover touch-up paint.Oh, and he did that part for free. Yeah, free.So the car was done much earlier than predicted, the damage was significantly less expensive than initially estimated, the work was exceptional, and they did some work for free. They are going to throw these guys out of the union! The car was bought at the Dorschel Mini dealership (the only one within about 85 miles) and we naturally brought it back there for this, knowing we would get genuine Mini parts (although come to think of it, there probably arent many graymarket parts for MINIs). (Their collison center is centralized, serving all of their dealerships.)If one day I have another car of any make that suffers collision damage, I would bring it back to this place whether I bought it from their dealerships or not. In every respect, the service was simply astounding. They deserve a 5-star Google rating...and if I could, Id give Steve Sergeant 10 stars!
What more can I say, Dorschell Collision is very lucky to have an exemplary and competent employees such as Dan Sorokes and Sébastien. I had previous work done to my truck by another collision shop and needless to say the work they did was trash . Dan took time to look at my jeep srt and explained to me step by step what they could do to correct it. He totally kept me in the loop every step of the way and even sent me pics of the progress. Dan went above and beyond and since then I have sent friends his way that have had work done.. Dorschell Collision keep up the excellent work!!!
I wish I could leave TEN stars!!! Only the very best from Dorschel!! ALWAYS. Jenn Drumm, Amanda Dial, and Amanda McKay are absolutely AWESOME! Kept me informed and updated through the whole process and my car was ready in even less time than I was told. Couldn’t ask for better customer service, truly. And the repair is amazing! You would never know anything happened! I would not trust my car with anyone else!
Nice people working there when youre actually talking to them. They are not great at communicating updates on the status of your vehicle. My car sent from less than a week to over 2 weeks to be repaired. I found out about the extension by calling and asking whats going on. Then I found out about a second extension by calling for 2 days in a row without a call back before I was told that my car is done and ready to be picked up on the 3rd day of me calling. I would have rated it worse but like I said, the people were nice when I did get through to them and they have a good system between the insurance companies and the car rental company.
I just retrieved my Lexus from the collision facility and I am thrilled....It looks like new ! I want to acknowledge the special consideration afforded me by Carey Vick after my car was struck from behind when stopped at a red light. He recognized how distraught I was, immediately reassured me and arranged for its repair. It is beautifully repaired and was ready when promised.I understand that Mike Catalano was responsible for much of the expert repair work, and I want to thank him.I continue to be a long-time appreciative customer.
Had $4200.00 damage to the back end of my rogue because someone was looking at his phone instead of the road ahead of him. My car was like new and i wanted it fixed right so i took it to dorschel because i heard good things about them. When i picked up my car i was very pleased with the job they did. The paint work is excellent and all the parts put on line up perfect. Once again my car looks like new thanks to them. Not only did they do a great job they got it back to me two days sooner than expected. Nice to see that people still take pride in their work
First let me say that I have been a Dorschel customer for over 10 years, including 2 new car purchases, all my service, and two other good experiences at the body shop with extensive repairs on different cars. However, my current experience with a windshield replacement started out at 1 star, but Dorschel turned it around to 5 stars.I had a crack in the windshield, which Dorschel replaced. The rearview mirror fell off the windshield right after I drove out of the shop. Brought it back immediately, and was told it was a defective windshield. It took two days to replace the entire windshield again. 72 hours later, the same thing happened, the rearview mirror mount completely separated from the windshield. I had not even touched the mirror.Dorschel worked to figure out the issue (a bad lot of aftermarket windshields), got a Toyota original factory windshield replacement, and paid for a rental while my car was in the shop. The staff was patient, courteous and professional, even when I was upset. So, in the end, 5 stars for handling a bad situation so well. One week after the last replacement, the mirror is solidly in place.
Dorschel collision went above and beyond my expectations when fixing the damage to my Tacoma, including washing a full Rochester winters worth of salt off all my interior floor mats. Great service, perfect paint match, and way quicker repair than estimated. Highly recommended.
OUR VEHICLE WAS IN BAD SHAPE, SOMEONE HIT US AND DONE OVER $ 10, 000.00, WORTH OF DAMAGE TO OUR CAR. THEY PUT OUR CAR BACK TOGETHER AND YOU COULDNT EVEN TELL IT WAS IN A ACCIDENT. THE SERVICE WAS DONE IN A TIMELY , PROFESSIONAL AND BEAUTIFUL MANNER. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS TO EVERYONE, WE WILL NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE IF WE NEED ANY KIND OF SERVICE FOR OUR VEHICLE. THANK YOU DORSCHEL, FOR THE AWESOME SERVICE AND TREATMENT.
Excellent service, work done well and on time. But even better, a couple of weeks later I noticed that at one spot, the parts were coming apart. I went back to Dorschel immediately, and Sebastian, an adjustor for the Body Shop, looked at it and pointed out that I had likely hit a high curb which caused two pieces they had fixed, to come apart. I was ready to leave rather sheepishly, but he said he could probably have that put that back together for me in a few minutes, without any cost to me. In fifteen minutes, my car was looking brand new again, and, as Sebastian said, with no cost to me. That is great service above and beyond the call of duty.
I stopped in to get an estimate for a damaged door and was taken care of immediately. Amanda began the estimate process and asked Tim E in auto body to take a look. He suggested he could try to repair the indentation at that time and brought the car back. Within 15 minutes he came out and my car was practically fixed! Tim and Amanda were super. Highly recommend!
Havent even seen the work yet, but incredibly frustrated with the process. A deer hit my brand new car, but was still perfectly drive-able. We took it to Dorschel on December 20th so they would have it while I was on vacation and did not need the car. The repairs were supposed to be done by December 27, and then they said that it would be done by today, and now they are saying that it wont be completed until January 7. Since I have a day job and live several hours away, I wont be able to go pick it up until the 11th. They cant seem to order the right parts and never communicate until we call them. Meanwhile, I have no car, this is costing me time and money, and no one seems to really care. This is after having purchased the car at Dorschel, which is why I went there for the collision work in the first place. Never again.
I brought my car in for collision repair. After discovering additional hidden damage, the insurance company totaled the car, so repairs were not performed. The insurance company (ALLSTATE) left me to deal with recovering the remainder of my claim from the salvage yard which took days to resolve. Dorschel Collision was helpful by waiving additional storage fees, which would have added up quickly while I was waiting for the lean to be removed from the title. This courtesy is greatly appreciated and expected based on the excellent reputation of Dorschel.
They replaced the windshield on my car just about perfectly. The friendly and courteous staff led by Julie Hackett dealt with the insurance company directly, ordered the parts and gave me an appointment promptly. The job was completed on time and I received a phone call as promised. Even the stickers and EZPass were transferred straight and true, as if by magic. Excellent body shop, worthy to be recommended.
Ive had to use them twice to get repairs on my MINI Cooper. The first time they repaired a dent from someones door hitting me in a parking lot, they essentially took me as a walk in and fixed it on the spot with paintless dent repair and it wasnt expensive. The second time was being repaired after I was rear ended at a stop sign. I took the car back with some fitment concerns on a trim piece a few weeks after getting the car back and they again fixed it on the spot to make sure I was happy with their work. Would definitely recommend them.
I was very impressed with eveyone at Dorschel Collision. Jen at the front desk was very pleasant (so was the man working at the desk with her but I didnt catch his name!). Brian helped me sort through everything and made the whole process easy. They worked quickly and when I picked up my car they had even cleaned it up for me, inside and out :) very nice surprise! The rental through the Enterprise on site was great as well. Super impressed with everyone at this location. I would use them again (although fingers crossed I dont have to! Haha)
Dorschel has lost a customer today.I came into simply have a protective under panel looked at to give me an evaluation of what it would cost to fix or replace. It took 2+ hrs for my car to be seen. I understand and approve of taking care of scheduled customers first, but for a simple take a look at situation this is excessive.I was then told that it would cost about 50$ to take the damaged plastic shield off and if I didnt have the panel removed, I would still be charged for diagnostics and labor.Seriously, to have someone take a quick look under my car is going to cost me 30+ dollars(guesstimate based on going labor rates)? nope. I have had other dealerships and auto repairs shops give a free take a quick look; even it was to tell me that they cant give me a good opinion without putting it up on the lift.So guess what Dorschell, you have lost a customer.Having said this, the staff is about the only saving grace, the people have talked with and worked with were personalable and upfront about everything.
Never take your car here. NEVER. I got my car back and it had a flat tire. They replaced my bumper and the paint started coming off in 2 weeks. Took the car back and they said the glue they used wasnt good. They changed the bumper and used after market which was really cheap plastic. They couldnt put it in place so they forced it and broke the headlight. They are very incompetent and the prices they quote are non-sense. Avoid.
This is my third time going to Dorschel the first one was for service in Henrietta, the second was service in Greece and now the body shop in Henrietta. If there were 6 stars available I would give them the extra star. These guys go above and beyond in service, quality, how they treat you, and if they can save you money they will. I have never been treated so well by a dealership and they really know what they are doing. They are professional and as long as I live in Rochester this is my place to go. I wish I would have also bought my car from these guys because i value quality and honesty and these guys dont dissapoint. Thanks for all the great and pain-free experience guys!
This is beyond unacceptable. When I first picked up the car a week ago from them after the repair there were couple of flaws, which I pointed out(see pictures). 1. Color mismatch. 2. Silver paint on the black textured panel, which is NOT supposed to be painted. Sebastian asked me to bring the car in so they can fix those issues for me - gave me a loaner for the day. Then when I picked up the car today in the evening...it was a cheap patch up job. They have painted over black panel to hide the silver over spray. Color mismatch still remains. If you are one of those people who loves your car and is detail oriented, think twice before going to them. I will not return to Dorschel Collision again - now I have to live with this cheap improper repair job.
I had my vehicle repaired last week. I have a 2014 vehicle with 15k miles on it and some lady hit my drivers side mirror. Her insurance recommended I go to Dorschel Collision. I dropped off car on Monday, picked up Tuesday. Lot attendant pulled my car up, I looked over the work on my own because they have horrible customer service and practically threw the receipt at me. Didnt explain any of the work they did on my car. Didnt even say goodbye. Before I left the lot, I examined the work, they salvaged the mirror cover and simply replaced the black molding with used weather/sun beaten plastic molding. On top of that, they chipped the paint on the mirror cover while attempting to put the old used part back onto the existing mirror cover. The part was so crappy and old it looked like it had been sitting on a vehicle that had been in the New Mexico desert for the past decade. I speak with the manager, he states there is nothing he can do about the plastic being scratched, and weather beaten. I suggest a no brainer and recommend they use a new part from the manufacturer because the vehicle he is working on has less than 15k miles and the damaged part was new. Why replace a like new part with a very old scratched crappy part? Im no rocket scientist but that seemed logical. I also state that his employee chipped the paint on the part they attempted to salvage. End of the day I had them replace the entire assembly. That took an extra 5 days to complete. Again, I show up no walk through of the work they pride themselves in. No friendly wave goodbye, no handshake. Every collision shop Ive been to Id have a staff walk through the work and explain what they did and what each charge is on the receipt. Only reason they are getting 2 stars is because they eventually manned up and replaced the part, oh and they detailed the vehicle really nicely.
If I could give this place a 10 I would. From Amanda to nick to Sebastian. I cannot thank them enough for making this stressful experience oh so pleasant. Very few times nowadays can you say people care about customers but these folks absolutely do. I hope they all get raises and are praised for years to come. Thanks again guys for making this experience one of the best. I wish you guys all well. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
This has been a horrible experience with the collision shop. Prior to this I have had no issues. My car is in the shop for rust repair, which it only needed because I was told Volkswagen didnt use the highest quality metal while making some of their vehicles. The paint peeled right off above the tires. Once I was able to make an appointment I was told it would take about a week, maybe 11 days. I asked for a rental or courtesy car because it was Volkswagens mistake for using such bad metal. I was told they dont provide rentals or courtesy cars because Volkswagen has a rust warranty better than most dealerships... I understand if it was under normal circumstances, or if it was in an accident, but come on.. this rust issue had nothing to do with the actually usage of the car. So for 11 days I had to burden my family members and borrow their vehicle. 11 days went by and my car was still not finished and I was told it would be another week!!! No one even called to tell me that it was going to be kept longer... I found out because I called expecting to be picking it up. So accepting that this shouldnt have happened, they provided me a rental. I dropped my car off to be started December 5th and it is currently the 28th. I called yesterday and the woman who answered said it would be done if not in the morning tomorrow, the afternoon. With that said, I took a day off to get my car. I call today to see if I can come get it and its not going to be done until tomorrow... this is all onbnoxious to me. It should not take just under a month. I gave two stars because Volkswagen did acknowledge their mistake and because I was eventually provided with a rental. Im hoping when I do finally receive my car back, their work is of the highest quality because after this long... Im expecting nothing less.
Would not recommend for car repair. Car was returned dirty, unfinished, took too long to complete repairs. Window still doesnt go up or down w/o difficulty after they allegedly fixed it. Wouldnt have gone there if it had not been suggested by insurance co of chick that smacked my car. Will not return either
I brought my vehicle in for Dorschel to do some rust warranty work on July 5. There were a few other customer-pay things I was looking to get done, so Brian went out to look at the car with me. He looked annoyed so I tried to take it easy. When I showed him what I wanted done, he shook his head and said, “I can’t do that!” His attitude, the look on his face, body language, and the tone in his voice all said, “You’re asking stupid things and wasting my time!” I understand that every business has the right to choose the work they want to do. All he needed to do was calmly say, “At Dorschel, we typically just restore the vehicles to the original condition. We don’t normally do custom body work. I’ll ask my tech if he’s willing to do it though, but don’t count on it.” He later said something similar to this, but he already ruined his reputation with his first impression.A week went by and I didn’t get any updates. Was the car being worked on? What did the technician say? Were they going to do the extra customer-pay work I requested? No one let me know. Finally, Tuesday July 12, I gave them a call. I left Brian a voicemail and he called me back about an hour and a half later. I asked him how it was going and he said that the vehicle was going in for paint and probably wouldn’t be done until the next day. I also asked him to not stick the rear “GTI” and “2.0T” emblems on the trunk and leave them in the cup holder for me.I called the next day and briefly spoke with someone that answered the main Collision Center phone. I was told that the rear windshield was getting installed and the vehicle wouldn’t be ready until Thursday morning. I was fine with that, I just expected someone to let me know. Instead I had to keep making these calls.I came by early on Thursday morning, July 14, and saw my car going through the wash. I went inside, spoke with the person at the front desk and took a seat in the lobby. Within ten minutes I was out the door with my paperwork.I just took a quick glance at the car and hopped in it. Right away, I noticed two things wrong. The inner driver side door armrest handle was loose and the Airbag light was on. I realized the handle was actually broken. If you pull it to close the door, it still says in its place. But if you lightly pull up on it, it comes right out.Now I didn’t tell anyone at the collision shop, but I actually work as a tech. After work I decided to take a close look at my car. The first thing I did was check codes. The Airbag light was on because they didn’t clear the light after they disconnected the front crash sensors. I just cleared the code and that “fixed” the Airbag light problem. Careless mistake. After carefully examining my vehicle I found a few other things Dorschel messed up. When removing the right front fender, someone using power tools missed the bolt, and the socket put scratches on the body. They’re not visible if you’re not looking for them, but I was examining the work. When you open the door, they’re near the hinges. They also broke clips on both of the door wiring harness connectors. Now they don’t clip in so I could have possible leaks.Lastly, as far as body work goes, I found that the area between the hinges on the hatch was not painted properly. It doesn’t have enough color sprayed down. It looks like there was black primer underneath. The weird part is, it’s all pretty nicely clear coated.I was thinking about giving Dorschel a call, but the last thing that I found disturbed me. I felt like I should leave a review. I had a Blue-Point screwdriver bit set in my glove box with a Snap-On screwdriver. I opened the glove box yesterday and realized it’s nowhere to be found. I was going to write a review yesterday, but I decided to check my toolboxes at work, just in case I pulled it out. It wasn’t at work. I’m also missing a Fenix flashlight that was in the cup holder. What am I supposed think Dorschel?I am currently working with Carey Vick to fix these issues.
Horrible, Horrible, Horrible! I took my car there to have the rear panel fixed due to tree damage. I was greeted by a staff member who had been texting and I was given the impression that I was a bother.. The staff was loud and joking the entire time I waited to pick my car back up. The paint job looked as though somebody had just spray painted the panel. There were large gaps and the over-spray was all over my car. I should have read the previous reviews prior to coming here...
Could not have been any happier with my experience. I leased a 2016 jetta from dorschel and with in two months of owning it was in an accident. Luckily Dorschel fixed it up for me and it is now good as new, like nothing even happened, and let me tell you it was in rough shape. While with out my poor jetta, dorschel covered the cost of 2 separate rentals through enterprise for me and not only was Carey Vick kind enough to extend the coverage on the rental for an extra few days for me, but he was kind, generous, and incredibly understanding. Dorschel Auto Collison went above and beyond, and I am so thankful to Carey Vick for going the extra mile to really ensure my happiness. It was the one good thing to happen to me in quite some time. I would highly recommend this Collison shop!! Ps- Dallas over at the enterprise desk in the collision shop is the super friendly and Amanda who works for the collision shop was also very helpful. Great service and amazing experience! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!! :)
Recently had body work done on my 2007 vw gti. Warranty work for some major rust on most of the panels of the car. Came close to not even buying the car because of the rust. They did a amazing job on it. The car looks brand new. Almost better then factory. They kept me well informed throughout the work being done. Very friendly staff. I would take my car back in a heart beat. Best collision shop in western ny.
Went there to have my rocker Panel to change painted before I leave my car i walk around the car 3 times to make sure there was not Scratches on my car and it had none...so i left it took 2 days to finish so I went to get my car back it look fine but that I had an eye Appointment so I could look at my car very well because my eyes was Dilated.so I took my car and I drove right home the next morning i noticed there was a couple of scratches on my car so I took the car back and show dorschel collision and the always have and excuses all the time they never want to accept liability for there mistakes at all thus is not the first time this ever happened to me with dorschel collision i will never recommend dorschel collision at all there are not professionals at all went it come to the customer or it just me but never again they are the worst service ever.
They didnt fulfil their promises, they did part of them and left part to make me pay more later, in the second hand, you will get half their priced quote if you try with other body shops, even if your ensurance is paying, the more you safe on the repair cost the less your premium will goes up so you better off with other body shops , I am not a satisfying customer, high price for nothing special in return!

2022-02-05Geico suggested I bring my car here for repairs after it was broken into. Communication was not great. I had to call them to discuss the inspection hours after it was completed, and they had listed unnecessary parts on the invoice. It wasn’t a big deal, but I would’ve appreciated better communication. After that was resolved, I was told my car would be ready Thursday. On Monday I got a call saying it would be ready on Tuesday. By Tuesday afternoon I hadn’t heard anything so I called back. They told me they weren’t sure and would call me within the hour. I never heard back. Again, I understand that they are busy, but the communication is not great. Especially because they close at 5:30 so I needed to prepare in advance to leave work early to pick it up. So on Thursday evening, they called me to tell me my car was ready, but there was a snow storm and I was unable to leave work early that short notice. I picked it up Friday (last night). When I picked it up, it was covered in snow and ice from the storm. I went straight home and didn’t think much of it. Today when I went out to warm my car up and go out, I noticed a crack in the bottom right of the windshield where there was ice the night before. This wasn’t there when I dropped my car off, and as it was there for a week, I don’t really have an explanation for it. I’m extremely disappointed and overall upset by this experience. I tried to call the shop but they close early on Saturdays. My guess is that I will be responsible for this damage. Bottom line I would not recommend this shop to anyone else.

2022-04-03Our service rep was nice and I’m not blaming him, but our brand new 2021 (4 months old) highlander was hit and was in perfect shape prior to that. Received it back - and there was more damage not caused from the accident. Body work repair looks good where it was hit but there was over spray on the hood leaving an area rough. The rotor (vehicle has less than 7k miles) is also damaged, while it doesn’t affect anything it was not like that before and was not from the accident. Must have been caused from putting the brakes back together incorrectly, followed up with a test drive and whatever happened etched a ring around the rotor. Additional - small minor issue - the ambient lighting on the passenger door was no longer working, which is most likely a plug. Lastly the back bumper was hit twice while being there. I felt like when I brought this to their attention there were excuses the entire time. While it is all minor - these issues weren’t there prior to the accident and weren’t even caused by the accident. That said service did a good job fixing the suspension and collision did do a good job on the body - I am just upset that I have to return to get this fixed, who knows when and most likely have a very inexpensive loaner vehicle.Updated: I do want to follow up and say that they did take care of the issues and handled it well. It’s only fair to say that the manager truly cared and took care of the issues listed. Overall the car looked amazing once it was completed, but just a hassle.

2022-05-07The best part of it is my vehicle got fix same day!!!! Great customer service, Andy Bisig called me with my estimated cost and got my approval and clarify all my questions. The total cost was i think fairly ok, do not take my word for it i do not consider my self as a an expert, but i was pleased with everything.

2022-04-04I use their collision shop for body work repairs to driver side. Initially my car was lost, once found in the wrong Department it was transferred, but Collision wasnt notified and was not given my contact information. After 6 days oh, I was able to make contact with someone who said we were wondering whose car that was. Through the experience it felt overall like there is little communication within that area which led to multiple calls with misleading information, then requiring work on my part to follow up for clarification on work needed, timing of repairs, etc. I requested the car get inspected while there, and despite them agreeing, in the end it was never done. Once the initial quoted work has been completed, I received a call stating they just realized there was damage to the underside of the vehicle (despite my going over the details of the accident SEVERAL TIMES and the car being inspected my multiple different ppl) and that would take an additional 2 weeks because they were just ordering the parts. In the end the work was done in 3.5 weeks (the original quoted date) but not without a lot of confusion along the way.

2022-04-01Brought my VW in for a leak that seemed to be coming from my windshield seal during heavy rain. After closer inspection, the collision shop diagnosed it as a sunroof leak. I was told it would take 2 days and cost $500 to fix, but it ended up taking over 3 months and costing me over $3000, which was being paid for by me and not insurance. There is a lot to this story, but I will say the leak is gone and everything is working as it should. When I requested it, they also provided a rental/loaner for two months at no expense to me. Everyone was nice, but Patrick Velten from the VW auto repair shop greatly improved my experience and went above and beyond to fix all the issues.

2022-04-01The front bumper on my car, which had just been replaced and painted by the collision shop, was damaged when I arrived to pick up my car. This damage was caused by the shop after completing the initial repair. I had to leave the car for another day to repair this damage.

2022-02-14Great collision service. Called us with updates all along the way. Car was serviced well. They worked with insurance and made it easy which was very helpful. I’d recommend them for sure(My experience was when it wasn’t yet owned by Bob Johnson. Can’t say how it is now but I hope they kept the staff.)

2019-08-16STAY AWAY!!!!!! I can not put into words how terrible this place is. I got into a car accident on 7/12 and my car insurance company GEICO suggested we take it here. Two weeks after hearing not one word about my car, I find out they never sent the estimate over to the insurance company. Then another two weeks go by and its time for me to pick my car up, just to find out they neglected to do any work on the back end (I was hit from BEHIND then pushed into a car in front of me). So they take it back then I come back to pick up my car again and the car starts to over heat (which was an initial problem) on the expressway and I have to pull over and have them come get me ON THE EXPRESSWAY. Here I found out (from the Help guy who pulls over on expressway to help) that there was not a drop of anti freeze in the car and it was extremely dangerous to have driven the car at all. Then Dorschel tried t to initially have me drive the car BACK to them them even though my car was telling me not to drive then they proceeded to say oh it was an air pocket YET it was bone dry with no fluid at all in the car. Then I get another call that my car is ready FOR THE THIRD TIME. When I get in my car I drive away and look into my passenger seat to see these horrible stains they have left in my BRAND NEW LEASED Honda Civic 2018!! I can not warm you enough to stay away. Everyone including GIECO completely dropped the ball. Throughout the entire process is was so painful to get any update about my car. They had no care at all how this was effecting my life what so ever. Please stay away, for your own sanity!!! I wish I could give this place along with my insurance company a negative star rating.

2022-01-29Communication lacks, dont respond to calls, or call you let you know about significant delays. Ended up having to call daily to get any information. But they did fix my car, eventually after 5 weeks
