He was able to show us different sectionals and guided us through pricing on every one giving us great information on inventory supply as well as ship dates. Don’t go here. They are scam and supper unprofessional and no one is ever on the same page. The first guy who was selling the product said he will have the table in two days but than when we went to order it said 3-5 months wait for the table to be delivered. Waste of time. The only person that knew what they were doing is the manager and the person who checks credit. That’s it. No one else knew what they were doing. The checkout lady had to call her manager like 5 times and than tells us “don’t you hate when no one knows how to work”. Super unprofessional. Stay away from Bobs. Worse experience
We went there with a specific pease in mind. When we walked in we were approached by a salesmen. All I can say is he made me feel like a friend. He was very Knowledgeable he answered all of our questions, and we ended up by several peace’s. When my wife and I left we were in such a good mood. Our salesman Ben made it such a smooth, EZ experience. Much thank to salesman Benjamin and Bob’s stores for hiring such knowledgeable well mannered man.

My husband and I were shopping for a kitchen table and Dave helped us out. He was extremely informative and answered all of our questions. We’ve been to other stores where the sales person is extremely pushy and on top of you. Dave was great to work with, very kind and did not make us feel pressured at all!
I bought a sofa set from them with that goof proof plan that they recommended about six months ago. Some wine spilled on it and created a stain. Call them to have it cleaned and they refused. They don’t do cleanups they said. They only fix mechanical or electrical issues. Horrible warranty. Horrible insurance. The people there at the store outright lied. Stay away from this company. Go somewhere else
Our mattress arrived and delivery was great, exactly what we wanted! However, our sales person started off normal but took a very odd turn once we selected our mattress and moved fowrard with the purchase. One thing that my fiance or I cannot get out of our head is when I asked on the recipt why under the the goofproof is said declined he stated that it was stating I declined to sleep with him. If it wasnt for the fact we really needed a mattress I would have canceled the order right on the spot and gone to another store. The delivery team did an awesome job and were on time and very nice. A shame for the ending of our transaction or I would have loved to give 5 stars.
Do NOT get the extended warranty on any products you purchase at Bobs. The salesperson will lie, and tell you accidents will be covered. When you make a claim, it will be denied, and that the warranty does not cover that accident.. shocking how that works.You get what you pay for.. cheap furniture, cheap construction that will not last. The pic below is from a sofa 18 months old. That middle section should be in line with the other section. That middle section broke from a person leaning back. Lesson learned. Raymore Flannigans, for example, has better quality, and I would recommend paying a little more for better quality contructed furniture.Thank fully, I learned my lesson before I spent more money at Bobs.
Benjamin from Bobs furniture in Farmingdale is an absolute pleasure to deal with. Any time I am purchasing furniture it will be through him. Their delivery service was excellent as well each time I used them they couldn’t have been more helpful and professional 10 stars if it was an option.
I have never been in a Bobs but see their commercials on TV and drive by the store all the time. We needed a sofa and loveseat and went to a few stores to see what they had and Bobs had the best price although they might not have the most options and choices but the quality looks the same and you get the Goof Proof 5 year warranty for $100. They said they could deliver the couches in 3 days so that is great. I took some pictures for this review and one of the managers followed me outside and wrote down my license plate. He probably thought I was rob the place, ha. Oh and the candy & ice cream bar area was really cool.
Really terrible experience. I bought an electric recliner that completely broke after only 9 months of having it. It was under warranty so you would think I’m ok right? Well WRONG! The part the couch needed I was told would take a month to come in. Ok frustrating already but I had no choice. I wait 2 months no part comes. I call only to be told the part is now going to be ready until September! And today is April 1st and I first called them about the problem in beginning of February. How is this ok?! Warranty means nothing to bobs furniture since they will make you wait almost a year to fix their garbage furniture
We had a really positive shopping experience here today with Rob, who helped us with information, availability on products, and the ordering process.This store has a wide variety of products. They offer a variety of furniture styles and options in a clean and comfortable environment.

Dan has been an EXCELLENT salesman who has gone beyond the call of duty to assure I have option when shopping. Yesterday my friend and myself went shopping at Bobs and another salesman by the name of Mike assisted us. I found him to be an excellent salesman as well. He was honest, informed, not pushy and patient. He managed to assist my friend and myself effectively the same time until my usual salesman Daniel arrived.This was meaningful to me because in the past I have had less pleasant experiences with other salesman who may have been pushy and made me feel as if all they were concerned about was making a quick sale and on to the next. They were not concerned about whether or not my shopping needs were truly satisfied. In my opinion, Daniel and Mike should be promoted to salesman trainers; teaching other salesman what and how to treat the customers.
Carl S. is an excellent sales associate. He is informative, professional, and patient. I was looking for a bedroom set and he provided information on a few that I was interested in, and thoroughly answered all my questions. He gave me ample time to make a decision; no pushiness involved. Once I decided to move forward with the purchase, Carl promised to keep me informed of the delivery status because the entire set could not be delivered at the same time. He kept his word and fortunately it turned out that everything would be delivered at once and in a timely manner. The furniture arrived on the scheduled date and the delivery process was carried out efficiently. The set looks great in the bedroom!
We have been Bobs Customers since 2010. We have been satisfied. with the several stores we have used, since 2010. This last visit, 2/20/22 at your Farmingdale location, was no exception. Our Bobs Associate, Ryan Fox, went above and beyond expectations. Mr. Fox made sure all our needs were met, including taking extra time in assisting us in putting together the furniture ensemble we purchased. In addition, the store Managers, Eric and John, assisted us with a last minute purchase. Mr. Fox and your Store Managers, as aways, were Professional, Courteous, Kind and Respectfull. Mike Miller was our sales guys.. we saw him a few week. Prior and was undecided he gave us his card and the information we needed.. he was nice, and did not pressure is.. When we came back we went right to him. He is very friendly and helps you look for what you need.. we ended up opening a Bobs card and buying a sofa and chair. If anyone need a nice sales person with a great personality ask for Mike Miller..
Its nice that while you look around theres a little cafeteria where you can take your kids for free ice cream, and snacks. Theres also coffee. Theres a Clean bathroom.As far as the leather sofa many were out of stock, and if they had what you wanted delivery was 6 weeks away.Negative for me was this salesperson that was practically up my nose following me around trying to assist me, but to me it was annoying, I wanted to look around before being approached. He asked me for my email, my phone number just to start a cart for you he said. I was not happy at all. I went to raymour and Flanagan and purchased my leather recliner there. I felt okay there none followed me, I was given space to look around.
If any one decides to go over there avoid this guy, Brian A. One of the sales associates… he have no intention to sell anything but try to sign you up for a lucrative store credit card and make his commission. Piece of creature. I’m posting a picture of his business card. Careful folks.
I bought a bob o pedic a long time ago. Once the batteries in the remote need replacing, you need to sync it up again. Sadly you need to jack up the bed and try reaching a small button while pressing the remote. . The button is in the middle of the bottom of the bed. I had them come once to do it. They tossed the mattress on the floor reached through a reset it. I cannot lift the mattress so going underneath is impossible. . Why was reset button not installed at foot end ? Its been in one position now for a few years. Garbage. I need a few string guys to get this thing out of my house. Beware if you are buying this bed. It is impossible to reset. I sleep on the sofa now because the position the bed has been stuck on is absolutely no good. It needs to get out of my house.
I change my 5 Stars to 1 StarI am not happy with the result I ordered for my furniture and I set up a payment plan with Bobs and was told furniture were available and all of the sudden I get a call saying my furniture is on back order till July. They knew how important my order was because I have guest coming in June. They didnt find a solution just game me lame excuses. I wasted almost 5 hours of my life which I will never get back. Totally dishonest. This place is horrible I called and no one answer until I called another store and transferred my call the answered because my number didnt pop up so they answered. This place are bunch of sharks who just want your money no matter what. Mr. Kaufold you need to straighten these people up.
Mike Miller was soo helpful and beyond knowledgeable. I came in to purchase a new bed, mattress and box spring. He went over each type of mattress to its fullest extent. I can now say, i know almost everything there needs to know about mattresses! Very kind and sweet. Made the entire experience extremely pleasant. I highly recommend requesting his services if you plan on shopping at bobs
The store is very neat, clean, and well organized. We worked with Kyle who was helpful and gave us his full attention. We know that deliveries are delayed for circumstances beyond their control but, we hope our furniture comes earlier than expected. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs furniture.
Dan from Bob’s furniture was super helpful. As soon as my sister and I walked in we we’re greeted by Dan and he allowed us to look around so we can get an idea of what we wanted.Dan later found us and helped us find the perfect couch. He gave us options, advice and he had a great personality. It didn’t feel like someone was trying to convince me to buy something, it felt like a friend was helping us pick out a couch. Dan, or as he likes to call himself “Dan the furniture Man” is one of the best reps I’ve dealt with. I will definitely be shopping at Bobs furniture in Farmingdale again!!
Dan “The Furniture Man” was not only helpful but, he was knowledgeable and patient with us during our many visits to Bob’s. He was so friendly and kind. He answered all of our questions and was not pushy or distracted while taking care of us. He made us feel like the only customers in the store. He provided us with ice cream, cookies, and laughter. We have been back many times to add more items to our order just to spend more time with Dan. WE LOVE DAN!
I had a wonderful experience at Bobs in Farmingdale. Ricardo S was my salesman and he was friendly, knowledgeable, and very patient. I definitely drove him a little crazy but he handled it like a pro. Also, to my surprise the couch I selected was in stock and we scheduled delivery for the following week. Thanks Bobs!!! I had to actually interrupt some sales reps talking amongst themselves to get help. I was at the store at least 15 minutes waiting for a sales rep.Then your computers were down so they could not even process my order. I would have gone somewhere else but I had a credit I had to use.
We came to this store 3 times and kept telling “Jose” we will be back because we were undecided every time. He never pressured us or tried to push us in any direction. He was cool and calm every time , we eventually made our first BOBS purchase and Jose made it more memorable than buying our house at closing ! Thanks again Jose , you are the man!
My family and I had a house fire months back. We finally are moving into a temp apartment from hotels so we need furniture. We worked with Anthony and he was amazing! He was so accommodating and did not pressure us to make decision. We changed things/added things and he was so patient with us. If you go, definitely ask for Anthony, he was the absolute best !
Complete garbage! Bought a dining set for my kitchen. Spent extra money to upgrade to leather chairs instead of the cloth chairs that came with it. Purchased the goof proof. Within the first year the chairs cracked and peeled. They replaced it because we were still under the one year manufacturers warranty. Then they all cracked and split again. Its over a year and goof proof says they dont cover it and bobs says they dont either because its beyond the 1 yr. Warranty. I spent over $1,000 for this set and it is junk! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON BOBS!! And goof proof is a farce!! Heres a couple of pics of what some of my chairs look like now! DISGUSTING!
I Love this store, everyone is so friendly and helpful. Maryann is always so kind and sweet!!!. The moment I walked into the store Daniel was right with me every step of the way. Helping me figuring out alot of different options, with the best attitude and patience . He was so awesome.!!!!!
Here is where the drivers from Bobs Discount left my old mattress. I paid $169.00 for White Glove delivery service after purchasing two adjustable beds, two mattresses and a chaise lounge - over $3000. I called their customer service 3 times and was on the phone for over 2 hours. I was so mad and got nowhere with my calls, that I DROVE BACK to the Farmingdale, NY store to complain. I was told they would be back to pick up the items. The delivery was at 10 am and it is now 4 pm and still, no one ever came back to pick up the mattress. I will be posting this across all of my social media sites and provide a review on Google and other sites as well. JB Hunt, the company that Bobs uses, are horrible. Dan was amazing! He went above and beyond making sure I received the best service. He is very knowledgeable on products and excellent customer care. I highly recommend him for his personable attitude & commitment to excellence. I can’t wait for my bed to arrive! I can’t thank him enough for all his help. Definitely never go there. Worst place ever. I ordered my bedroom set in March and my delivery was supposed to come in June which was on time but my bed came with missing pieces. They had the bed rails but no supporting legs. I wasn’t able to use the bed at all. I went to store they didn’t resolve my problem. Talked to customer service they sent the legs in mail in 3 weeks. Guess what they sent the wrong size legs. I went to store again and again. Then they told me they had to replace the bed and it will take three more months. I said ok and the Indian manager at the store told me to get the plywood from Home Depot and try using the bed in the mean time and he said he will give the hundred dollar in compensation. Since I paid with cash they said I will get that in few weeks through mail which I never received even after four months. Then my new bed delivery came in August with missing pieces again. This time the guy had the supporting legs but no rails. He said it’s better to keep the old bed and he will use legs from new bed. So my bed was never replaced and I got the supporting legs of the bed after waiting for five months. I also ordered living sofa set with it too. They brought the sofa but delivery guy said they can’t bring in it’s too big for the door. Then we took the measurements and ordered new sofa set. This time they tried doing the same thing. But my husband got mad and told them to leave if there and we will fix it by ourselves. So my husband and I put them inside the house. Yes when the delivery guy saw it’s going in they helped too. I wish I could give less than one star rating for them . I had worst experience with them
The staff was professional and very helpful. My family and I worked with Joe (Farmingdale, NY location). He was knowledgeable, funny, and courteous. He gave us our space, and let us browse the show room. And when we were ready, he was there with answers and his iPad. Definitely will be a returning.
My in store experience was good . This item was delivered to me today like this . Bobs is now telling me I have to wait until Friday 3/6 for a technician to come check it out . To see if he can repair . Such an inconvenience ! Why was this not checked at the store or wear-house wherever it came from . Why was this Gentlemans Chest delivered to me like this ?
I bought furniture at Farmimgdale location and had Rob (Bob) as my Salesperson. He was wonderful! He even looked like Bob! LolI would suggest anyone looking for furniture, to go there and ask for Bob.He took the time to help me with any questions I had. I can’t wait to get my TV Console- it’s beautiful and reasonably priced.
If you want exceptional customer service, a personable sales representative that cares about your needs rather than just making a sale, Dan is the sales person for you. Although I was greeted when I came in I had to find a person to help me. Normally I wouldn’t care but there were many people available and just not interested. Another woman was looking for a mattress but was going through the same issues. Her salesman couldn’t be bothered and she did also make a purchase. Maybe we are using the wrong currency or just need to go to another store that wants to help and cares about sales.
I had a great experience at Bob’s on Saturday, October 3,2021. When shopping in furniture stores, one often feels stalked by the sales person. Nobody did that at Bob’s we did have an exceptional experience with Mike who was extremely patient and knowledgeable an answered my repeated questions each time without being annoyed this is the third time I have had a successful shopping trip to Bob’s andI will most certainly be back when they need arises.
Came on a Sunday evening and the sales people we delt with (Roger and Anthony) were not pushy; they let you browse and sit on couches for as long as you need. Free snacks (cookies, candy, ice cream, coffee, hot chocolate) in the back. Anthony was very helpful with our Goof proof warranty claim and never seemed sketchy to sell more than we needed. We had a good service experience here.
Outstanding service . I was at three other furniture stores and the service was horrible. I went to Bobs and met Dan. He allowed me to look with no pressure. When I was ready to make my purchase of a dresser and night stand I decided to buy a couch. He was so kind . Prices are amazing and his salesmanship was exceptional. We highly recommend Dan.However, I do want to mention that during our previous purchase at Bob’s, the delivery people were rude. The lady I encountered at the customer service was Shantese. I would just like to say she is a unique beautiful professional and amazing woman. Me and my sister had a tough day and everything distracted us from getting to the store. As soon as we walked into Bobs store in Farmingdale NY we were welcomed by a sale representative name Gail. She was amazing just by her welcoming alone me and my sister got comfortable with her as she was attentive to both our needs and assisted us in what we wanted. That include price checks with a package and without the package of individual pieces of furniture she was very patient and passionate about her work. Her hospitality also made us feel extremely welcomed. We were escorted to the back for hot Brevages and or ice cream to our liking that was 100% customer service lol. We left blessed making a friend apose to it just being a sale. Thank you Gail for your courtesy, respect, honesty and phenomenal customer service.
Mr. Anil (manager) was amazing! Not only was he helpful and understanding with our issue, he made sure that it was rectified. What we tried to do after weeks of calls and follow up, he accomplished in less than 24 hours.Brian (our salesman) did all the legwork. He spent around an hour and a half with us, maintaining his professionalism while being so patient in answering our questions and addressing our concerns and helping us with our orders.Job well done!
My wife and I had a great experience at Bobs last weekend. We were greeted by a sales associate named Dan who was very helpful, personable, and was able to answer all of our questions. With his help, we were able to arrive at a quick decision about which furniture set we would like to purchase.
I went to, I wasn’t going to say the furniture store but the rep there was by far the worst, Raymour and Flanigan. She spend her first interaction with me telling me all she couldn’t do and not what she could do so I left and went to Bobs. I wandered around the store a while unassisted until I found exactly what I wanted. Then I looked up and found my salesperson who was definitely a proud professional including dressing the part. He expedited our order and explained that orders are backed up but it could come in sooner. Well since I wasn’t in a rush it was fine. This was not my first time at Bobs and it won’t be my last. Thank you Bobs.
My husband and I searched through countless furniture stores, and with all the COVID related delays we were losing hope we’d find furniture for our new home. We came into Bob’s and Brian A was so helpful. He was honest about wait time and we appreciated that. He was funny, personable, and made the experience so easy and enjoyable. We would recommend Brian A to any of our friends!
Shantese in customer service in the Farmingdale location went above and beyond to try and resolve my problem. Prior employees yes’d me and told me they could handle then issue I was having and promised it was taken care of only to get emails saying it couldn’t be done. I later spoke with Shantese who not only heard my frustration about the situation but actually listened and was honest right from the start that what I needed done was above her level to make decision, but would look into it and call me back. She called me back 2x’s in one evening with updates keeping me in the loop. I am very grateful for the time she took to try and fix my complaint regarding delivery and repair issued I had . I may not be able to get the scheduling issue resolved like I wanted, but with the knowledge, patience and kindness she had towards me and my frustrating issue was worth more to me than the date requested to resolve my issue. Nice to see there are people who go beyond.
Brian O’Donnell was extremely helpful, friendly, and did not hound us like a lot of sales associates happen to do. He allowed us to browse the store, and was ready and willing to assist us when we were set to make a purchase. Very quick process and made sure we understood what we were paying for (protection plan, delivery, etc.), which was helpful to us as a young couple! Thank you for a great experience Brian!
Karen is the greatest salesperson Ive ever had. Her indefatigable effort to make each customer feel special is astounding. She is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and informative. I purchased a sofa from Bobs Discount Furniture on June 2, 2021. As I made the purchase, I was informed that it was likely to be delivered in mid-July. I received a delivery date scheduled for June 15, a whole month prior to when I originally thought it would come. Great! However, both my wife and I were working that day, so we had to attempt to reschedule. I utilized the Bobs website, chatted with a representative, and informed that first I would have to CANCEL my delivery, and then someone would reach out to me to reschedule. I received an email on 7/1/21, stating that the arrival of my sofa would be FEBRUARY OF 2022. I called Bobs, and after being on hold for an eternity, was told my salesman would call me back. Five hours later, I called the store back, was put on hold, called back (where the phone rang for a while), and called again. When I finally spoke to the associate on the other line, she first seemed shocked that my salesman never called me back, and then told me that my couch was completely out of stock. So I went from getting a couch early, to getting no couch at all because apparently they gave it to someone else. Conveniently, the manager is on vacation until next week so I unfortunately have cancelled my order. Oh well, off to another furniture store.
My experience at Bobs was phenomenal. We were greeted by the store manager who then walked me over to Joe our sales rep! Joe was an amazing sales rep. He was very patient and gave me all necessary information I needed to assist me with my purchase. The service and personal attention given by Joe and the team there was SUPERB! I would definitely recommend Bob’s at Farmingdale to everyone.
Great experience all around- it always is when I shop here. No one follows you around closely/ they give you space and only come around when you need them which is HUGE for us. We worked with Anthony and bought our most recent sectional. He was patient, kind and honest and we were happy to give him and Bobs our business now and in the future!

I had a phenomenal experience at Bobs Discount Furniture today. I was quickly greeted by Anthony, who was extremely knowledgeable about the store layout and the furniture that was in stock. While browsing, he helped answer all the questions that I had and guided me to the pieces of furniture I was interested in. Once I decided on what I wanted, he very patiently helped me find different styles of the items I wanted to obtain the soonest possible delivery date. The sofa I wanted was out of stock, but was currently available as a sleeper. Without his help, I would have had to wait months before the sofa I wanted was available. What a wonderful experience! Working with Rob was a refreshing experience. He was not pushy at all as we have found with other salespeople. Rather he was personable, helpful, pleasant and professional. Vinny was an excellent salesperson Ive ever met. Super patient and took his time to make my purchase. Didnt push me at all and let me made my own decision. He even told me about different programs the store offers client. Hopefully Ill look for him in my next purchase.
Went to Bob’s today looking for a new couch. Met with Ed who seemed like it was his first day there. He was clueless on almost everything. I had to leave without being helped. After seeing such good reviews, I am extremely disappointed with the people who seem to not know anything.
Dan was an absolute pleasure! Provided prompt service, very knowledgeable on products and excellent customer care. I left there feeling truly heard & more than just another customer. I would highly suggest working with Dan directly. I can’t wait for my bed to arrive! I can’t thank him enough for all his help.
Do not be fooled by all the 5-star reviews. The sales people are aggressive in making you give a review in the store after you make the deal. Many of the reviews are first time reviews. Kind of deceptive. Bought a bedroom set for my daughter. The sale went smoothly. Day of delivery I take off from work and the men that did the delivery were very nice, had a mask on and were clean. However, they only had 10% of my order. This was after we cleaned out the old bed in anticipation. They said they would have to come back. The mattress was delivered but it is on the floor and all the parts of the set is in boxes stored in my daughters room as it cant be put together until the other furniture is delivered. After some time on hold and a little push back I got the delivery fee waived. However, and this is the trick, once you accept delivery of anything you have to start making payments if you take advantage of the 0% financing. So now I have to make payments on furniture i still do not have because they screwed up and I am now told it will take 2-months to get the rest. Not fair. So I called to see if the payment can get delayed...it should... until I get what I am paying for. good luck getting anyone to answer the customer service line. So I tried an old trick and selcted the option for new sales, of course someone answered but transferred me to a manager at a line that nobody answered...ha. I have heard that this happens often. This will work out but you need to be careful. All the positive reviews are fake. You get what you pay for.
Wonderful experience shopping at Bobs! Anthony was incredibly helpful & made shopping for our first apartment significantly easy. He went above and beyond to ensure that we were able to get the items on time since we have a tight delivery schedule. Thank you Anthony- would love to come back and work with you again!
Dan the furniture man was phenomenal!!! He went above and beyond to make sure that I got all of the information that I needed to make my purchase! I bought the beautiful Joanna fireplace and I’m so excited for it to arrive! I definitely would recommend making an appointment with him.
Came here on a rainy Sunday with my sister to look for new furniture. As we walked in Rob came to assist us. He let us know where everything was in the store since we have never been here before. He did not hover and was around when we had any questions.We did find everything that we loved, and it was a super easy process! When sitting down with Rob he was very professional and funny explained everything fully and we totally would come back.
Giving 5 star rating for outstanding service provided by staff at this location. I had bought couple of mattress from here and was not satisfied with one of them. When I went back for replacement Karen and Marjanh were more than happy to help me and helped me through the whole process and assisted me with new mattress to my satisfaction. When we noticed the price of the mattress had gone up the Managers Crissann and Rebeca helped me to get the same price as before. I will highly recommended this store for the service they provide to their customer.
Horrible experience!! First delivery, damaged item. One month later I have to take off work for a service call. They say I have to have another service call. After service call #2 they agree to replace the item. Delivery number #2 and one item is damaged! Leaving me with yet another delivery!!! That’s 5 days off work to wait at home for bobs furniture delivery. Honestly it is NOT worth the price. Pay more for the furniture and save yourself the headache, days off work and HOURS on the phone with customer service. I regret this purchase

Bob’s is a great place to shop! Our salesperson, Dan the Furniture Man, was terrific to work with. His attention to detail and his experience guided us though this purchase with ease and efficiency. He informed us thoroughly of the service protection plan, which will protect our furniture purchase for five full years! We presently are returning customers, and we will always come to Bob’s first for all of our furniture and accessory needs!
Sales people lie about quality of the products and expectations from delivery teams. Barbara was my salesperson.I didnt even have Bobs employees deliver my furniture; some creepy unmarked truck came to my house. The contracted delivery crew were clearly untrained on the products. Improper care of seat backs, as they held them back the hanging fabric instead of the cushions. They rushed out of my house with seats backs on the wrongs seats, and when I told them they said I was wrong... Nope, I was correct and they switched them to look correct. Again, they ran out before I fully inspected the furniture.Customer care is a nightmare.Service techs told me the pieces had defects, but then turned around and told customer care that it was up to standard. No its been 3 weeks of going back and forth to have furniture looking, and feeling properly.Bobs Discount Furniture should be renamed Bobs Cheap Furniture
Liliana provided exceptional customer service. She was very patient, answered all of our questions and gave us enough time to shop at our own pace. She was extremely accommodating and very knowledgeable about the product. She made our furniture shopping very pleasant and we highly recommend you ask for Liliana!
Dan was really helpful and patient with us. It was our first time buying furniture and we felt super comfortable with him. We couldn’t make up our minds and he walked around with us showing us all the furniture and answering all our questions. We came back in to make a purchase due to the great customer service we got from him. He’s a really personable guy and it was a pleasure working with him from the beginning to the end. Highly recommend him. Next time we come back to Bob’s we will look to work with him again!
Mike was excellent with the customer service. He was very friendly and very honest especially when it came down to the delivery dates. He kept a conversions throughout the whole transaction which was very nice because he included the whole family. Great customer service I’ve had in a while. Please ask for MIKE!!
Brian O’ Donnell was a great sales person and very helpful, knowledgable and courteous. He helped me numerous times with furniture selections and I would highly recommend him to family and friends and for them to definitely ask for Brian to assist them! I’m very happy with my purchase today and understand completely with the COVID-19 delivery delays but was told by Brian that he checked daily on the orders and will call his clients to let them know if any dates do change and I was very impressed with his customer service!!! I purchased couch from bobs June 20th, and received part of couch July 14th and then July 16 second part. The third and fifth piece we’re supposed to be delivered soon after. Bob continued to send us emails and texts when the other pieces would arrive. When date came to deliver we received delay shipment texts4 times they delayed and each time they say the text which says your schedule delivered date means nothing.When I had chance to cancel bobs they say you can’t cancelLong story short, I purchased couch in June but they now say my delivery date is end of October. I asked them will deliver date change again and they say it couldBobs took my money knowing very well they did not have in stock. We had to reschedule our delivery and were told multiple times (by the store manager) that we would be contacted by a sales associate to rectify the situation. We came into the store after a week of contacting the store and not being able to get through. We were again told that we would receive a call from the sales associate who processed our order. At this point I’m 100% sure that no one actually told our original sales associate, who was easygoing, friendly and very attentive and I can only hope that cancelling this order does not fall back on him because this wasn’t his fault. I’m on the phone now cancelling my entire order because the managers sales associates (with the exception of Dave) at this location are incompetent. We went next door to Raymour and Flannigan to look around and ended up purchasing through them. It was a bit over our original budget but well worth the peace of mind.
Bob sold me a floor model couch at a discount. Delivery not included. I hire a moving van to move the couch from Farmingdale to Northport and when I get there the frame on the couch they sold me is broken. They were unwilling to match the price of a different couch to the one they sold me and I still had to pay for a moving van even though nothing was getting moved. Livid! They should have matched the price to make up for the shotty merchandise they were selling
I was overwhelmed when I first entered Bobs. There was so many beautiful choices! Then I met Rob (a very personable and awesome salesman in the store). He stayed with me and assisted me in everyway possible. He was a high pressure salesman; nor, did he attempt to sell me anything that I didnt express interest in. He made me feel so comfortable and provided guidance and suggestions for me that made my experience a very favorable one. I am happy to have purchased a beautiful couch and loveseat - not to mention a beautiful recliner. After I receive these purchases, I will take a pic and send it to Rob - just to assure him that I made some wonderful and suitable choices for my apartment. Thank you Bob and most of all - Thank you Rob!
I purchased a couch from bobs in June with a delivery date in July. I express that I had a family function in late August and could they guarantee my delivery before then and bobs said yes. First part of couch arrived July 14th, and 16th. We paid couch delivered in full. Since then despite many delivery confirmation dates emailed and texted to us, two days before the scheduled delivery date we are told we have to wait two more months , late October for our delivery, and two months after our mentioned function.Bobs tells us this 4 month delay could be delayed again ?Bobs after telling us numerous times we could not return couch for a refund now tells us we could return and does not care we have to have an empty space in living room and start again to look for a couch costing us more time and inconvenienceI should have listen to others who said not to go to bobs
Went into Bob’s today with my siblings to buy a new couch for our parents. Gail was very helpful without being pushy. She was honest in regards to the lead time for the couch as well, which was appreciated. The sale was easy and painless - would recommend this Bob’s and specifically Gail’s service to anyone looking for furniture!!
I was met by Anthony when I entered and he assisted me with a dresser order. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. I also needed to confirm a credit and associate Shantes was very pleasant and helpful as well. By pure chance, the subject of mattresses came up and Shantesenand Anthony were exceptionally helpful to inform me of a warranty I never knew about, potentially saving me hundreds of dollars on an unnecessary new mattress purchase!!

2022-04-01Terrible quality furniture. Things break after 9 months and they tell us we will have to wait 8 months!!!! For a new part to come in. Unacceptable probably because it’s under warranty but I don’t know one sane person out there that will wait 8 months with broken couch they just bought for a new part. They offered to take back the couch but not that easily I’m told to wait between 3-14 days for someone to reach out to me about a return. And then wait for another couch for another 2 months While I’m without a working couch. This is an electric recliner and now the whole electric system doesn’t work and couch is stuck on one side in reclined position with no manual way to put it back in place. I could deal with it if it wasn’t for the fact that this couch is in my place of business and looks terrible stuck this way. I’m beyond disappointed and will never purchase from them again and will definitely not recommend anyone does if they want to buy any electric recliners. Clearly it’s not made well at all and the most ridiculous part is to tell someone to wait almost a year for a part to come in so they can have a working couch

2022-06-26I went to Bob’s Furniture in Farmingdale to browse for a mattress. My goal was to get an idea of what I would like and a price estimate. However, the moment my father and I walked into the store Mike Miller, was super attentive and kind. Mike was patient and showed me all the potential mattresses I would like. I ended up liking one of the most expensive ones in the store. However, Mike walked me through different financial options without rushing me into a decision. I made the purchase right there and then. I have never met a salesperson like Mike who’s aim felt genuine and to be in my best interest. I enjoyed my shopping experience at Bob’s and will definitely be sending friends and Family to Mike.

2022-05-31So far so good. We purchased a Living Room set and Kelly in Farmingdale was our Salesperson. She greeted us and then let us be. Came over when I needed her and then stepped away again! Amazing experience. My husband and I will be shopping there moving forward. Hopefully the set is as good as Kelly but with a 5 year Warranty how could you go wrong!!

2022-03-31The Salesman, Dave, came right over to greet me when I walked in the door. He was helpful, knowledgeable and a very pleasant Man. He answered All my questions, and showed me two different mattresses to help me determine which bed I was buying for my Sons birthday/promotion. 👍 He even helped me with a scheduling date, and called me later that night to update me about his request. It was a PLEASANT experience all around- and I will definitely go back to Bobs to make purchases in the future!

2022-02-27My husband and I arrived at Bobs as soon as they opened. Mike Miller greeted us immediately. We were kind of all over the place about what we were looking for but he listened and heard us. We left happy with a couch and a rocker recliner. He was so patient and helpful. Highly recommend!
