She made the shopping experiences for my Grandchildren and me quite enjoyable. We are extremely satisfied and cannot wait for the delivery of our furniture to begin enjoying them.
Thank you for assisting me with my bed, I am well pleased with Bob’s furniture coop city store sales associate Tiana and her costumer service. Also I appreciate the delivery driver Freddy M helped me get my bed mattress upstairs and opened it up on the bed frame for me. I would recommend this kind of service to anyone.
Its pretty hard say you missed your delivery, the amount of notifications - great communication-sent is awesome.When I places the order with the Co-op location they were very professional and helpful and thats the kind of service that keeps a business at a 5 star. From the first steps into the store the connection with Mr. Mustapha was grand. We greeted each other and I told him what I was looking for. Mr Mustapha listened very tentatively and showed the way to the various furniture section. Miss. Loretta (Supervisor) was also so helpful and attentive. I recommend this location as I always shop here for all my needs.
Anthony was very helpful in assisting us wit picking wat was right for usThis is and updated on my 2019 review that I madeIt’s now 2022 and my bed that I bought broke.When making my purchase Anthony suggested that I should get BOB’S goof proof policy that they provide it cost just an extra couple dollars but it’s protection now in 2021 I sat on my bed and the support beam brokeI instantly filed a claim with Guardian insurance only to be told that it has to be an accident for it to be coved under there policySo I contacted bob they said I should refile my claim also adding my kids were jumping on the bedSo I do only to be told that my claim was again denied because it didn’t meet their requirements for being called an accidentSo now I have a broken bed with a WORTHLESS insurance package that I was dooped into buying just so they could get an extra couple hundred dollarsAll in all I’m very unhappy with my purchaseI followed all the necessary step that you mentioned within a few hours of the accident and went through the entire process and was told that the cause of the damage (sitting on the bed) is wat the bed is made for so it not an accident your insurance scheme with guardian insurance is a scam and your just looking for extra ways to get extra money I attached a copy and guardian’s reply nothing that you replied wit does Anything to state y my broken bed isn’t covered if there is a ACTIVE “INSURANCE POLICY if said policy isn’t a BIG FAT SCAM
I had just left Ashley Furniture where they attempted to charge me $400 for delivery and setup not including taxes. Which is absolutely ridiculous!I came to Bobs basically in a huff and Mustapha (salesperson in the Bronx) took his time to show me all the possibilities for my small apartment. I ended up spending more on my couch at Bobs because Mustapha was so wonderful and knowledgeable.

I went knowing exactly what I wanted. I was offered something else which a salesman is expected to do but he also went to get a tape measure for me. I was extremely clear about the height of the chairs I was buying to replace worn down ones I already have being essential. The encounter was quick and successful to my benefit. I love Allington! Also Stephanie & Shawnese are so great.

I went furniture shopping today. Great customer service. The salesman, Antonio, was great. He was not pushy. He gave us space to walk around and to take our time and look. He didn’t hover but was easy to find in case we had questions. Bob’s has a nice selection of affordable furniture. They also have an area with coffee, tea and snacks. Which was nice.
I needed to buy bedroom set for my parents and a mattress Aubery the sale eep helping me was amazing she was polite not pushy patient and my experience was amazingAubery was very helpful and she was direct with answers when I asked which I appreciatedAubery should be given a promotion she is a winner 🏆
Great service. Havent bought anything from there yet, however, Im doing furniture shopping and Bobs is where Im getting my furniture for sure. The customer service is excellent at this center and the representative Howard was more than helpful. The furniture seems to be sturdy. Im already sold, this is where Im getting my furniture. Ill update when I purchase my items.

Gilbert sales associate of coop city in the Bronx was wonderful help us find the perfect bedding for me and my family he didn’t try to over price us like normal sale associates would do he know actually what we were looking for by us telling a stories of our kids and his word of wisdom was needed..going back to him for the finishing of our apartment
Bobs sales personnel have been excellent but my encounter with Rebecca has been super excellent. She is courteous knowledgeable, helpful , and good listener and communicating with the intent to satisfy the customer. I will want to come back and tell others about the store. She is a Jem and definitely an asset to the Department.
Went in to get me a furniture piece with a drawer and mirror the workers was friendly the place was clean if you needed help with anything someone was always there to help you I will be back to get more pieces of my bedroom set the prices are great and they work with you
If I could give a zero I would!!I bought a dining table, sofa set, bunk bed, & queen bed frame. I was helped by Mufasa and his manager AJ, the service was great, I cannot lie, but once the products are in your home its HELL. The sell you the insurance ( GOOF PROOF) and its bogus!!! For a year now I have been debating with them over the products in our home and they consistently denied my claims , even after my GOOF PROOF policy says they cover it. My dining table chairs have fell off multiple times, our bedset has had to get fixed multiple times, ( NO we are not big people) But its very upsetting that I spent a year going back and forth and my issues are not rectified. Dont get stains even after they tell you to say accidental it doesnt matter they do not cover stains, they do not clean, they do NOT REPLACE! Spent money on insurance that does not cover a THING!!!!! Please spend your money else where with better quality and insurance that actually COVER!!!
Bobs was Awesome!!! Stan was our Salesman and he was patient polite and knowledgeable. He not only assisted us with our needs but he went the extra mile and recommended better options for us. Thanks to Stan the veteran we got a super cool couch and My place is gonna be lovely!

Horrible customer service. Ordered a sofa on October 3rd, 2020 still have not received the sofa in mid December. Delivery was scheduled for the first week in November and one of the three seats of the panther sofa was delivered. When I called to ask when the rest of the sofa would be delivered I was told it was on back order and I couldn’t get it till December. One part of a sofa had been sitting in my living room for over a month. I was told I could not get a refund due to me accepting part of the sofa into my home. Customer care was horrible and Bobs Co-Op acted completely clueless about the entire situation. Do not order anything from here.
This is the third time I visited this Bobs location and each time Ive been satisfied with the customer service, as well as general merchandise selection. Today, I had the pleasure of working with Colby, my personal sales associate for the day. Thank you Colby! She took her time with my family and our many, many questions. She helped pick out something specific to our needs, and brought up things that I hadnt thought of, like height of the bed for my aging relatives. I am sure I will visit again in the near future.Update. Today was my 4th trip to Bobs. I had a great sales representative named Tony. I didnt feel pressured. Everything was explained. I felt very comfortable. I continue to be thankful for the service I receive at this location.
I did not know what to expect as I had never been furniture shopping, and I was alone, but I honestly believe that Bobs in Coop City was the best place for me to go. I could not have achieved what I did without Kevins assistance. All the staff was nice and helpful, and the store was beautifully arranged. Thanks, guys!
The buying process was fine... I waited 2 month for delivery... After delivery around 2 months later my bed support start broken, because the welding. And one day the bed broke. Customer Service received my complain and never heard of them... Two weeks later I contacted them again I they dont satisfied my petition of a new rails and money back of the part concerned.I was very excited w my shop at Bobs (Bedroom Set, Living Room Set, Dinning Set, and two other Chests for my rooms sons)Im sure I dont recommend Bobs no more...
Sale Associate Mr.Allington was EXCEPTIONAL. I truly appreciated his knowledge and courtesy. He really was extremely patient and professional while he showed me a variety of options according to my specifications. I was so impressed with Mr. Allington I left and went to another furniture stores which was my preference but I came back because of Mr. ALLINGTON. I truly hope this level of customer service continues from this point on. Thank you
My original experience with Bobs was pleasant. I purchased a living room set, adjustable bed frame and mattress. Everything came when it was supposed to except the mattress. It wasnt a problem till they told me it will be a month before I receive it. I ended up canceling the mattress in July. Why is it December 20th and im still going back and forth with them for my money.Now Ive been charged again on my account for the amount of the refund and they say I should get a check in the mail.Something is wrong there because im paying myself if they charged my account for the same amount im owed. They claim theyre working on it. This is the 4th person.
We had the pleasure.of having Stephanie as.our.salesperson. She.made.a.stressful.situation.a.very enjoyable and delightful experience. I am extremely upset with a purchase I made in July. I went to the bobs store in co-op city to purchase a 2 twin size bed for my kids and a bedroom set for myself I paid cash.. They told me that my bedroom set would be delayed an should arrive in early August. They offer that if any thing comes early would I want them to deliver it I said sure. They delivered 1 chester draw and 1 night stand. Fast-forward when I called an spoke to the supervisor he told me my order wont come until the end of October. I said why didnt I get a courtesy call,text or email. I asked for him to cancel my order because from sine July I have no bed to sleep on. He said he can give me back a refund for the items that did not come, but as for the ones in the house he cant take back.. what Im I gonna do with 2 draws that doesnt the rest of my bedroom set..so that means I lose my money an out of a bedroom set. Thats not my fault! The items has not been used. I spoke to the 2 supervisor 1 of the Supervisor name Jorge was very rude an on professional. I have to wait 24- 72 hours to talk with a manager.. To top it off I cant get my cash back I have to wait 8-15 to get a check mailed to me.. This a horrible experience especially for it to be my first time buying from them. Please please ask questions before buying
Worst buying experience. I chose a bedroom set of which the dresser and night stand were not available. That was in May. Its now July and still have not received it. With the advice of the sales manager I got a power base. Tried it but dont like it. Tried to return it and couldnt. They are telling me that its in the fine print that they dont take back the base. How deceptive. With much persistence they finally decide to take back the base and deduct $80.00 from my $400.00. $320.00 store credit. for usage. You know its funny how they would take back a mattress you actually have contact with your body but they cant take back a base which had no body contact.Their furniture is overpriced seems they charge you double for everything.I would not recommend Bobs to anyone. Am so disappointed and dissatisfied its not funny.
They sold me a defaulted living-room set recliners and when I asked them to change it because it is not the same product I saw at the showroom they refuse.I have been going back and forth with for almost 2 years now because it was a very expensive.They are thieves because the moment the product gets to your home they will give you a difficult time to take it back even if they knowingly gave you a wrong product.Then they have the nerves and audacity to tell me to sell it to a third-party like anyone that wants to buy it or the selling app.So this made me strongly believe they gave me a defaulted product on purpose to get it out of their warehouse, if not why then will they suggest to me to find a third-party buyer.Isn’t this robbery and selling?Their technician that was sent to check on the product lied and wrote a false report stating nothing is wrong with the product/recliners. And when I called back they said they can’t do nothing about it , I should find someone to buy the recliner sets from me. So don’t this look 👀 like it was done purposefully.This company just steal from people and basically forces them to pay for defaulted products.This is the biggest mistake of my life.
Horrible... Bought furniture from then July 10 .. Items delivered damaged.. Broken.. scratched.. missing hardware to put bunk beds together ... Spent about 6k in two children’s bed rooms sets.. after a month and a half 5 service calls to my home my two daughters are still sleeping on an air mattress because Bobs isn’t able to get the hardware to put their Bunk beds together .. After numerous hours and being put on hold with their horrible customer service and not caring for my situation I began asking for my money back and to get this garbage out my home... After threatening to not pay and personally put the furniture out to the curb they deceived to refund me the bedroom set... I will NEVER buy any furniture from these people again... This was a nightmare of an experience for my family and unfair to my daughters who spent almost two months sleeping on an air mattress... I will make sure I inform all my Union Brothers at my local and all the other trades in New York City to stay away from these guys and take our money somewhere else .!!!!!
Got a 2 piece couch set and paid for a 5 year warranty just incase anything happens to my furniture. I was told this warranty fixes anything from rips to structural damage. One of my 2k couch has structural damage and they denied my request for repair. But they did offer me a paid service as if I still didnt have 2 years left on my warranty. Avoid the warranty its useless.
I was so disappointed with the delivery service from Bob’s. We had waited approximately 2 months for the furniture delivery. The delivery was set for today and we got a window from 2:00-500 pm. I got a text at 5:22pm that they were 2 minutes away and another text at 5:52pm that they were two minutes away. They finally arrived in front of our apartment building at 5:53 and drove off a few minutes later. When I called the delivery customer service to try and get the delivery back since they just drove away, no one was helpful with the situation and were given a new date 5 days later for delivery. Nothing was done to accommodate this circumstance. The delivery people came, didn’t even get out of their truck to ring the bell and pulled away within a few minutes. The customer service people said it was one of the last deliveries so they couldn’t call them back. We were home and ready to let them up, but no one came rang the bell or called. We did our part and no one from Bob’s customer service understood that their delivery people dropped the ball. This is very frustrating and this is definitely the last time we will be purchasing anything from Bob’s.
The guy that helped me on Saturday his name was Maurice he is really a good sales man one of the best he helped me to find the right bedroom set for me and did some good recommendations on what mattress I feel comfortable with .. I really appreciated your help .. thank you once againCo-op city bob
Awesome experience. Sales rep., Tony Alvarado was a pleasure. He was knowledgeable and understood our needs. He showed us all the options and made sure that we did not leave with any doubts, and most importantly unhappy. He made amazing suggestions and answered all of our questions. I am very happy with our choice and Tony played a big part in that.
I had a great experience at Bobs in Coop city Baychester Plaza. Tiana was such a great help, very understanding and always looking out for my convenience and budget. I highly recommend Bobs for their great people and service. Look for Tiana when you go in on the first floor, shell provide you with the utmost assistance and attention.
I purchase my furniture from bobs and they recommend the insurance for an additional cost and unfortunately less then one year my furniture is cover in mold. I make the claim to replace the set but they said it’s not covered, this set is less then one years old. Bobs is a rip off and never buy their insurance plan plz.
These people do not take their job seriously and are very unprofessional. To begin with i bought a couch in which came ripped by the delivery people. On top of that the salesperson added the goof proof warranty to my bill without my knowledge, she never asked me if i wanted to pay for it. These people are scammers. I came to this location to see if I could get it removed from my bill and if they could do something about my ripped couch but everyone I explained the situation to was no help. Waited a really long time to speak to someone while the employees were eating ice cream and playing with eachothers hair. When I finally spoke to the supervisor she was even less of help and offered no solution. Will never return to bobs ever again!
The staff was wonderful Mustafa helped me very well he has good knowledge of all of the furniture help me pick the right one but my problem was your company don’t recognize veterans so there was no discount or for veterans or a Columbus Day sell,that’s my only problem with Bobs furniture store.
We walked into the store and we were greeted by this amazing energy. He was Joey bright smile he introduced him self and advised us that whatever we needed he is here to assist us with anything. He was kind amazing energy and he paid attention to everything we said we needed. He let us talk and then made sure that we saw every option available! We were looking for simple, professional, courteous service. Colby J was all three and then some. She didn’t haggle us and didn’t try to sway us from our intentions for our purchase. She kept the conversation well balanced between sales and life style. I would highly recommend her service. When I purchase in the future I will be contacting her for assistance. Horrible store and horrible service! Me and my spouse ordered our furniture December 12,2020. We had notify the sales person that we needed our furniture as soon as possible but we did understand that with everything going on it’ll take a little more time. Originally we were told our furniture would arrive the 2nd week of January, then we got a call saying it’ll arrive at the end of January.. we didn’t receive our furniture until February 12,2021 and on top of that we received a bed set with no mattress!! Like if we were supposed to sleep on the floor. They sent us a replacement mattress because our original mattress was “out of stock” and said it’ll get delivered to us to as soon as it was back on stock. They gave us two dates which ended being switched anyway and didn’t get our original mattress for another month and then they have the audacity to charge us for it when it was just supposed to be a “swap” for our original mattress. Not even a month after our bed broke... and when they came to see it not only was our bed broken but also the box spring was broken. Would not even recommend bobs at all.
Trying to cancel my order for the last 2 days. Cancelled with a customer rep yesterday and still got delivery notifications. Called today, guess what, order wasn’t cancelled. Rep can’t refund coz I have to call sales number. Dialed sales number, transferred to nearest store. On hold for over an hour and finally spoke to a manger. Let’s see if the merchandise still gets delivered after cancelling twice.
Terrible customer service. The salespeople add things to your bill without your knowledge. They added the goof proof insurance to my bill without asking me and refused to remove it. I explained my situation to about 3 different people and they were no help. These people are will scam you. Unprofessional service and will never buy anything from here ever again
Nelson at Bobs Furniture in Coop was very helpful and he knows his products and furniture extremely well. He made my purchasing experience very quick and easy. My mother, sister and I stopped by Bobs to take a look at some living room furniture. As we were browsing, a woman by the name of Rebecca asked if we needed help, and help she sure did. She wasnt pushy at all. She explained how all of the warranties and protection plans worked in great detail as well. She was still extremely friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful conversation, and she provided us with her information if we had any questions. She really explained everything thoroughly and didnt try pushing for anything that she knew we didnt need or want. We felt extremely comfortable with her and knew we werent just another customer for her.
I was more than satisfied with Gilbert B. as a rep for a few reasons. His mannerism and professionalism was exceptional. This is a very straight forward review cause that’s how I like my service. He explained to us how Bob’s not only works but how they garante their quality. No gimmicks no pressure. He wasn’t aggressive he focused on my preference as a customer. He was very helpful, informative and courteous. I believe that when buying pieces for the home it’s not only about loving the furniture but the experience, and my experience was just as pleasant as my sale cause I’m excited about getting them to my place and space. We had a wonderful experience at the Bob’s in bay plaza. We have a brand new apartment and the stress of moving and the preparation has us both under pressure. Sean was the first person we interacted with and he was so friendly and made a great first impression. He was very knowledgeable and provided all the information we needed. Everyone on his team made sure we were being assisted. They were very aware of their surrounds and ensuring all customers were taken care of, very delightful. We then worked with the sales associate Jose. He was phenomenal. He went above and beyond. If he needed assistance or clarity, he asked to ensure we were provided with accurate information and processing our order correctly. He was very attentive and caring. Maurice is the most patient, understanding salesman I have ever met. My husband and I were indecisive and taking up a lot of his time, but he understood our needs and that made this transaction worth while. Our salesperson Michael was absolutely awesome. He was not pushy, but was attentive and led us directly to a couch that we fell in love with after describing what we needed. He even helped us to stay within our budget by reducing the delivery fee. Michael was knowledgeable, friendly and patient. We would definitely return to him for our next furniture purchase.
I worked with Mayra, a member of the staff, and she was super helpful and easily found us everything we asked for. She was friendly and patient with the fact that I was toting around a 9 year-old with me who wanted to try everything out. Even after the fact, she helped me find my hat that Id left behind in the showroom. Extremely nice and attentive and incredibly helpful, what wed expected to take hours and possibly a trip to another store as well was completed within an hour, purchase included. She easily got our style, and Bobs had quality to match. A very welcoming experience.

Carlos Jusino was the best salesman. My wife and I went in he greeted us, offered his assistance and directed us towards what we were looking for. This by far is the worse place to order from. I ordered this massaging chair the end of September 2020. The company told me they dont deliver so I drove 10 hours to come and pick up the item. Since day 1, it NEVER turned on. I called the store and customer service line (corporate office) in regards to this and they simply lied! I was told by a manager name Kelvin that they will order me new parts within a day or 2 AND THAT NEVER HAPPENED. I was told that they were going to have a tech come out within a day or 2 to check the chair out AND THAT NEVER HAPPENED. I called and spoke to Juan a manager and he said that I can make the drive again to do an exchange but they did not want to give any refunds even though this was all their fault. So now they want me to either get 25% refund and keep the broken chair while they keep 75% of my money without any merchandise. Or the option is to lose work wages by taking off to pick up a chair again because the first time they gave me something broken. This place is unbelievable I wish I can give them 0 stars because this is how pathetic and unethical Bobs furniture has been to me and with this experience.
Upon arrival my husband and I were greeted by our salesman Jose Rodriguez. Jose had a welcoming demeanor and was extremely helpful. He was able to answer all of our many tedious questions and help us find exactly what we were looking for. Jose made our shopping experience a pleasant one. Thanks to his excellent customer service we were able to find the perfect bedroom set and sectional for our living room. Jose Rodriguez played a huge role in our purchase choice, setting the bar at an all time high in regards to customer service. We are very appreciative of his help.
After a death in my family, I needed to re-group and change everything in my bedroom to feel better again. The sales rep Alexis S. Was extraordinary and made my experience a great one. She was thorough and compassionate of my needs. Will definitely come back here again. Great team and QUALITY furniture
If I could post 0 stars I would. I’ve been waiting for a mirrored coffee table for two months. I even bought warranty. Problem is i moved and can’t go to that location myself. And apparently no other Bobs furniture store wants to refund my money, they say i have to go to the actual store! All these people want are the sales. You can neverrrrr reach the store because they never pick up the phone AND they sometimes pick up and hang up the phone. Totally unprofessional! And I’m still trying to cancel my order until this day apparently waiting for an email reply!
Joey is an excellent salesman. Very knowledgeable about the products. He made made it a very warm and inviting. He made going furniture shopping a lot stressful and an easier experience. I would recommend Bobs to my friends. I also will let my friends know that they are in wonderful hands with Joey. He is a wonderful asset in the company
Kevin was warm & welcoming as I entered Bobs. He was very knowledgeable and had an abundance of patience with me. I had just left Ashley store where the experience was horrible. With his help and knowledge of the items I was able to purchase exactly what I was looking for at a very reasonable price.
I love this location! I had the pleasure of having the assistance of the sales associate, Alexis. She greeted us with a welcoming smile and she made sure that I was satisfied with every furniture decision I made. She had a great sense of humor and her shoes were very cute, by the way. While I was handling the final paperwork, we were offered coffe, tea and even ice cream! Thanks to everyone involved in helping us furnish our new home.
Excellent service from Carlos J. He greeted me warmly immediately upon entry and provided the most patient and friendly service I have experienced in a very long time. He sold me with great service and honesty. My mom was looking for furniture and I called her over to make her purchase with him. I was that impressed. Great job, first impression and representation for Bobs.
My husband and I recently visited Bobs to purchase a few items for our apartment. Kevin B greeted us when we entered the store. We were truly impressed by his impeccable approach. He was very patient and thorough. Even though we took quite some time to decide on what we wanted, at no point we felt rushed. We felt like he had our best interest at heart. So let me tell you about my experience. I purchase a mattress and box spring. Waited a month for delivery. Upon delivery realized I didn’t need the box spring called bobs customer service within 5 minutes of delivery have spoke to at least 8 people for help over 4 days now and after a huge runaround they can lick it up on February 13. So u want me to keep this box spring home for a MONTH. TERRIBLE SERVICE. NO real leadership to make things right. Not buying from you again. Ohhh yeah I have the name of every customer representative that couldn’t help me.
Victor was awesome. I never walked into a place where someone tends to us right away but doesn’t make me feel suffocated. He made a few suggestions and then kept checking on us to make sure we were good! He offered pretty much everything without making assumptions if I had it or not. Awesome sales man! Thanks Victor I will definitely return to bobs after your service first but not last time!
First, thank you for true and genuine customer service. My sales guy was Tony and this is the man you want to sell you anything. Amazing personality and very hospitable. Went in for a mattress which had great reviews online and left with an additional adjustable lift. I was on the fence about the lift but he gave me a great option instead of overselling me or upselling me on a product I wouldnt use.I can only hope the quality and longevity of my purchases match the great service I received today. I will definitely be back to co-op City to visit Bobs.
Kevin was a great sales rep. I believe his level of customer service skills and professionalism are exceptional. He is also very creative in giving me ideas on how to coordinate the design of my living room. He was friendly and informative at the same time. I really enjoy speaking with people that are well informed with the products that they are selling. Jay Greene was that person and more! He knew the questions to ask me to get a feel about what type of furniture I was looking for and possibly I would want to purchase. He let me look around, as that is what I asked for and he didn’t disturb my quest. When I wanted his assistance, he was available in a timely fashion. Of course I’m not the only client in the store but he still was attentive to me. I enjoyed his work ethics and his store hospitality. It was indeed a pleasure to meet him and hear about Bob’s Furniture and the warranty’s. Like I said, “he was very knowledgeable about his products”. I will definitely will bring my husband back to see Jay to add to my experience at Bob’s or wherever he’s selling furniture. I’m sure after my husband speaks with me that we will purchase the furniture I picked out but after he speaks with Jay he will think he (my husband) made the decision himself 😉.
Carlos was AMAZING!!! I have been looking for the perfect sofa for 2 months. I told him what I wanted and it literally took me 20 minutes to buy the perfect sofa and I bought a mattress foundation as well. Got a great deal. They Have beautiful furniture although its over priced. Then when the associate tells us that he cant show us whats online because his iPad is dead makes no sense to me. He was polite but will not be going back. Temp check on the wrist was fine. This is the one on Bartow ave by Bay Plaza Mall.
We received help right away which was great. This is our first time buying furniture and Michael made this experience easy and stress free. I normally dont like to write long-winded reviews but let me tell you about the service I received today at Bobs furniture. sales staff Chris Griffith was knowledgeable and expert and professional with his service. Dont forget to add the goof proof protection to your plan or else the goof will be on you.I highly recommend that you come and spruce up the house the bedroom the kitchen all parts of the home for the holidays.
My salesperson was Symone Palermo and I must say she was very professional and extremely helpful. She listened to my wants and needs and explained in the simplest way all my options. This was my first time at Bobs furniture. As soon as my family and I walked into the store, we were greeted by Sales Rep Alexis. She made herself available to us for any questions we may have, gave us our space and allowed us to feel comfortable in the store. My wife had already viewed online the couch she was interested in, since we did not find it at site, we decided to ask Alexis. She was kind to take us to the section where the couch was located at. She showcased the couch and functionality of it, we were impressed by the price and quality of it to say the least. In addition, she gave us different purchasing options, which we decided to apply for a store credit via Wells Fargo. I was approved within seconds and we decided to get the couch, chair and a cabinet we needed. She interacted with us with the up most professionalism and genuine carisma. My daughter and I enjoyed the chocolate ice cream available while waiting for all the paperwork to be finalized. Once I entered Bob’s Furniture at Bartow Avenue BX with my mom and my son, First person who we saw was Annie Nelson. I was unsure where I needed to go, She had greeted us with such a friendly feel that I was like, she is the one I’ll stay with.I needed to purchase a Living room set for My mom and we all ended up with purchases. Annie was so great and her personality and professionalism in answering our questions on the furniture we got, we were very pleased.It takes great sales associates to have you come back for more. I dropped in here with knowing I wanted sectional but not which one and not wanting to spend too much time. Joey was exceptional! From the minute I told him what I wanted and he delivered in superb service. I went to Bobs on Wednesday night, and I was immediately greeted at the door by Sales Associate Mayra Chavez. She was super helpful and knowledgeable about the products, and she helped me pick out a great bedroom set. This was my first time purchasing furniture on my own, and I was overwhelmed, but Mayra answered all of my questions and made the process so easy! I will definitely be going back to her for more purchases in the future!
Walked to the store for furniture replacement with husband. As we were looking Victor helped us, he was professional and was very helpful. He provided us with our buying options and was very straight forward with everything from the furniture details to the pricing. We had a small issue and he called customer service for us and was able to handle the problem. We definitely appreciate good service.
Great staff and great help. Jose did a solid job at explaining things for me and making my shopping experience simple and convenient. One thing I could appreciate is the non pushy type of selling. I felt comfortable at making my own decision and what was best for me.
For a Bob’s with such a good rating what a terrible experience I have so far!! Ordered some furniture here back in June during whole the virus session. I was given a time frame of 4 weeks from date of payment for delivery due to COVID. I was understanding and waited. July came and I never got the furniture. 1st customer service lady said it was my fault for not calling a week in advance to confirm said delivery date in July. Mind you I just moved into a new apartment and needed the bed and couch. I called again only for the second customer service to tell me the worker taking the orders put it as pending and never confirmed it for July. 1st customer service lady lied to me about it. the worker was just terrible to not confirmed my purchases or delivery date and I waited 3hrs on the phone to get someone on the phone! I’ve been very patient due to the virus but come on, man! We got the issue resolved and was schedule to wait 3 weeks more on top of the 4 I already waited so 7 weeks so far. Next delivery date was today in August. The delivery date came, I was sent a confirmation with time and date. The date came and they only delivered the bed but no couch. I was given no reason as to why the couch didn’t came and the movers had no idea what I was talking about and were schedule to only deliver the bed. I appreciated their honesty and know it is not the movers fault and they are just doing their jobs. The movers were great overall and I had a pleasant experience with them. However, I’m calling at the moment to see what’s up with my couch! I have been waiting from 9am and it is now 1:40pm with no customer service rep. Bob’s if the issue is not resolve soon, I will take further action.
Michael was amazing!! We spoke on the phone the day before prior to coming in to the location. He’s just as wonderful and professional as he was on the phone. He walked us through various models on the floor to ensure our needs were met. I would recommend this location to everyone especially if you work with Michael!!!

Michael also offered mattress recommendations and helped us come to decisions quickly. We loved his energy levels despite our near-closing arrival time. I walked in to a nice welcomed greeting from Symone P. I knew I wanted a bed and couch but had no idea what color or style. She was extremely patient, informative and helping with me and my wife. I added on 2 more items just because I felt so sure and Comfortable with what she was saying and showing us. I would definitely recommend Bobs, everyone was so nice and professional.
My representative who took care of me was Gilbert. Gilbert expressed incredible knowledge on all product inquiries I questioned him about. He was extremely professional and offered impeccable customer service. He engaged in conversation with me and my company making us feel comfortable and providing the ability to trust him and his knowledge about the products. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I came in looking for a sofa for my new home and was greeted by Curtis Brown. He was patient, attentive and more helpful than any sales associate. He showed me endless options gave me great advice on manage and care. We have two babies, he was considerate of that and made sure we knew how to care and enjoy our sofa with our little ones.

We politely declined help because we were only browsing. On our second visit we were greeted by Alexis. Her friendly demeanor made it easy for us to feel comfortable. We decided not to purchase that same day and her attitude remained the same. We went back a few days later on a hectic Saturday. While we waited she checked in with us periodically. When she was finished she immediately came over to us. We purchased on that Saturday. Throughout the whole process, she was very patient and never pushy. She was very knowledgeable about the product that we were looking for and made it easier for us to make a decision. She gets a 10/10 for professionalism. If you’re reading this and are planning to go to bobs, I implore you to ask for Alexis.
Mustafa was an exceptional Bobs salesman. He was patient with us and incredibly informative on everything we asked about. It was a pleasure to meet him because he made us feel welcomed and wasn’t pushy like some salesmen. We were very happy with his great service. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Henry in choosing our newly married bedroom set. Henry was a pleasure to work with. He was very informative, and answered all the questions we had with enough details to help us make a decision. He was very enthusiastic and great character, which I enjoy when I buy house furniture. This is the second time we have dealt with Henry and we would definitely be back and would ask for him. Would highly recommend Bobs and highly recommend shopping with Henry.
One unprofessional personnel can really hurt a business. Went there for 2 reasons 1 for questions and the other to look for a piece for my home. I was confronted by a sales guy who didnt introduce himself, didnt give me a chance to finish talking as he cuts me off to answer my the question that I didnt finish asking, my impression of this guy was dismissive telling me to call the company to handle my problem, he could of looked up the item I brought, no, he could have given me the # to call, no, as if he was truly doing work standing there having a comical conversation with another sales person. At the end of it all he took me to see only 1 piece and thats it, saying thats all we have, didnt even show me an inventory book that they might have it at another location. Waste of time. He was useless. Im going somewhere else to furnish my home.
My salesperson was Rosa, she was very attentive and helpful. Its like she knew the minute I walk in with my mom lady in the wheelchair and my 2 nieces, Rosa greeted us and said Ill wait for you upstairs 😂😂. She was very patient while we ran to look at everything in the entire store. She also helped my mom with a great program which not only approved my mom to get the bedroom set wanted but would help build her credit. A big THANK YOU to ROSA 👍👍👍, we will see you again (without the brats of course) 😘😘😘
I had a great experience at Bob’s Discount Furniture at Co-op City, and it was all because of Curtis Brown. I initially entered the store just to look around but I ended up buying a whole new bedroom set. This was all because of Curtis, who displayed great customer service skills. I immediately sensed his genuine and friendly personality. He also displayed a lot of patience as he took his time to guide me to the best product that fit my style. We were in there for over two hours asking endless questions and he remained as positive and friendly as When I first walked in. He also was very honest and genuine with me and I could tell that his sole purpose was not to make a sale, but to make sure that I got the best out of my money (which is different from other sales associates I’ve encountered). Overall, Curtis made my experience very positive. Thank you Curtis Brown.

2022-04-04My gf and I recently entered this location at bay plaza. We were instantly greeted by tony, who was so interested in our dog lol. He instantly asked us questions besides the sales pitch! He actually cared about our day. Then he showed us the elevator because we had a stroller with our dog in it. He immediately showed us options based on the search we explained to him!! He showed us two sales floor items that were unbeatable prices, but eventually we went with a loveseat for our studio. He was VERY knowledgeable and not pushy to buy anything. The manager “lorreta”was extremely kind and caring as well. Thank you again for your great service! Continue to not be pushy, JUST HONEST lol!

2022-05-30Stephanie took care of me. Greeted me at the door. Stayed within eye view but not intrusive so. Occasionally asked if I had any questions. When I was ready she was attentive, answered all questions I had, gave me info I hadnt thought to ask, made sure I was physically comfortable throughout the process. Very pleasant young lady. Additionally, a manager came over to check off I was okay. She may have been checking on her employee as well. She also was unobtrusive.This is my first time using Bobs, I hope the furniture is as good as the customer service.As for the selection at Bobs... good. My only complaint: need more color options on the furniture.

2022-07-05I was greeted by a sales man, named Curtis, as soon as I walked in through the door. Although he was servicing another couple Curtis was very attentive, directed me where I needed to go and kept circling around to make sure I was ok. He made wonderful recommendations on the item I was looking to purchase. Curtis provided excellent customer service and I will definitely be returning to purchase more furniture in the future, at Bob’s furniture!

We entered this Bob’s not knowing what to expect, we didn’t even think we were gonna leave with anything, but Aubrey introduced herself and walked us through the entire process. She was so professional! We left with a beautiful sofa as well as a new mattress. I would recommend this location to anyone.

And Tony is just too hilarious, he kept me smiling throughout my whole shopping experience. They are very resourceful and knowledge and that makes having them as your sales rep the perfect choice.They have offered a service second to none and I would definitely recommend them both.
