Always wanted to try this place and I finally did tonight - wish I had tried it sooner. Food was great, the cacio e pepe was one of the best Ive ever had. However, the real showstopper was the bartender Christine. She is friendly, energetic and super attentive. I will definitely be returning!
Had mutton dressed as lamb for brunchI get that when places open up or are new there can be issues. BdB has been around for a while though and should know better, they only moved two doors up from where they were.....Was here yesterday with friends for brunch. The staff, location, and service were great but theres a mistake on their menu, and I feel it needs to be fixed or you should be told when ordering. The Waffles and Fried Chicken I ordered arrived at the table and I had to ask to see the menu again, because I was expecting a piece of fried chicken, similar to the piece that my friend had in the Fried Chicken Sandwich (which looked delicious), what I got was 4 chicken wings. I wish they were good but they werent, they were salted, no coating or breading.I felt cheated, if Im honest, wings are like the cheapest form of chicken, and I was charged $21+ tax and tip for one waffle, some fruit and 4 bad wings of which I ate half of one. If I went somewhere and ordered wings, Id have gotten at least 6 and they would have been dressed.I make my own wings at home in my air fryer, theyre great, at first I used to break the bone a lil and the marrow would seep out and ruin the wing but I learned how to properly separate the drums and the flats, whoever prepared my meal has yet to learn this skill.I feel bad for leaving this negative review for a place I like but they have to be better charging $21 for what was essentially $3 worth of food, prepared poorly. Next time (and every subsequent time) someone says you want to go for brunch to BdB or Kashkaval, its now gonna always be Kashkaval....I was offered to have it replaced with something else, but I didnt really want to have to wait another 20 min to eat.
The food was not bad. The restaurant itself was too crowded, but the worst thing about this restaurant was the service. The waitress was super bad, moody, and unfriendly. We asked her for water. She put the the water bottle harshly on the table and didn’t even pour the water in our glasses. I definitely do not recommend this place.
Promising but very disapointed. The place looks very nice and fancy. Food was good but quite simple, not transcendent. But the service was questionable. To be honest, I felt judged for the plate I chose and it made me really frustrated.Stay tuned the worst part is coming. We do know that we, french people or «tourist », have the (bad) reputation to be cheep and forget to tip. But we are not this elite of people, we were going to tip the service, not much tho. But our server decided to do the amalgam and charged us of 20% of gratuity for service (normally for 5 people and more) because he said that usually tourist forget to tip. We informed him that it was not ok of course but still.Anyway…! We ´re higly disapointed but you know what, we actually are responsible a bit, we went the wrong Bocca di bacco.PS : 0 star is unfortunately not an option, please don’t think you could deserve even one.
We started at the bar while waiting for our table. The bar tender was friendly and engaging but not overbearing and constantly in our conversation- just a really good bar tender. We all thought the Food was terrific! The Lamb shank was magnificent and a definite a recommendation. Ambience was great. Definitely worth a visit if you like Italian food.
My first experience at Bocca di Bacco was great!I got to try an appetizer made with eggplant and ricotta and 4 pasta dishes:Pappardelle alla bolognese, carbonara, ravioli ricotta e spinaci, gnocchi alla sorrentina.I went on a Sunday for brunch and they have live music with a dj.Isabella, one of the manager and waitress was super nice and accomodating. Will go back.
Amazing!!! Loved this place. Came here for an anniversary dinner and the food was fantastic. The cheese and meat platters are tasty, I’d just replace the Brie with more of the other cheese options they had. Environment was pleasant we got there around 4:30-5p and it was nice but a little later by the time we left it was a bit more noisy - wasn’t crazy and drink felt nothing to not go there again for. Adding this to my list of go to’s in the city. Great wine list too.
The place felt a bit pricey to me. Portions are generally big. I was expecting a bit more from the mussel appetizer and the veal pasta. I liked the lamb chops. Place its a bit loud and was crowded when I went on the weekend. (Someone working there literally pushed me to the side to pass though while I was leaving).
Great and fun place. Casual Italian dinning. Incredible cocktails. Big portion food - good to share. I recommend the grilled octopus, eggplant stuffed ricotta, bruschetta, tortellini in butter sage and Lamb shank. The staff is fun and professional. The bartender was really helpful, gave us taste of some of the cocktails and picked a good bottle of wine for dinner.
Great little place on 9th Ave near the theater district. Wednesday night it was easy to get a table. Service was attentive. Dont look for a beer selection here. Its nonexistent. The Cesar Salad was generous and yummy. It came very well mixed and chopped topped with a slice of cheese and one anchovy. The gnocchi and the sausage with mushrooms were both amazing. We had leftovers to take home. We save room for dessert, a nice presentation of chocolate cake and ice cream. We shared. Highly recommended.
Im a Google map local-guide. I have tried 72 different restaurants in Manhattan so far. If I could, I would give them 0 stars. I am sure that this place is (by far) the worst place I have been to. Their service was terrible. They have the rudest staff and manager. Their food was awful and the food portion was half of typical Italian restaurants. Moreover, The waiter told us I must get the order (drink, appetizer, main course and dessert) at once ! Which is weird. He was so pushy and I didnt understand why. Although I had told the waiter that please, bring the drink and appetizer first and then the main course but after 10 minutes they brought the main course. I had guests and they embarrassed me.Although I had reserved a table 2 days in advance, the waiter was keeping the pressure on us to finish as soon as possible. They never came to check the service. Besides, we were only 3 people but they had added 20% tip to the bill which was very unusual. I talked to the manager about their service. However, instead of apologizing, just said its late and ignored us.
Great atmosphere and wonderful food. There wasnt a wait at 7pm on a Tuesday. They have a large wine menu, special cocktails, but only two beers available. All in all, fantastic food and a great place for a date. The staff was absolutely wonderful as well, everything was made to order.
Had dinner there with a party of 7 about 2 weeks ago. Its too bad that were limited to 5 stars b/c the restaurant, staff, and management deserve more than that. First and foremost the food was excellent. In addition, the server Jesus, was right on point, he was right there when your drink was finished to offer another one. The Manager, Antonio, was excellent as well - he frequently checked in to make sure our table was happy with everything. It was an all around fantastic experience that I would highly recommend.
Great restaurant design but the food was not the best. I got the chicken parm and my spaghetti was hard, it was almost like old spaghetti and the chicken was hard as well, I took a bite and thought the bottom of it was like a cardboard box, again, chicken felt like it was old. The food was definitely microwaved or something cause it came out in 5 minutes after we ordered. Never going back again.
Was a little skeptical going here since the area is very touristy and a lot of the restaurants around here serve very commercialized food, but I was very pleased with my experience.I had the chilean sea bass which was very tasty and a good portion. The atmosphere is very nice. The lightning is dim. Our waiter was very attentive, and the prices were very reasonable.I will be definitely coming back.
Sunday brunch was a disappointment. Music too loud for conversation. Food menus on xerox paper and only digital drink menu, but no QR code at table. Waiter seemed annoyed that we weren’t doing the unlimited drink option and that he couldn’t hear our orders over the music. Never got the check and had to ask for it. Gave us another tables bill 3x higher than ours. Had to re-run our tab and was overcharged by $40 and didn’t receive the itemized. Won’t be back to this location
I loved my experience and my family did as well. From management, to customer service, to the food everything was amazing. The wine from Argentina 2017 option 907 was really great! I love seafood, so I would definitely recommend the mussels in the Antipasta section. Would definitely go back and I recommend you who read this check it out!
Easy to find on 9th Ave. The wait staff speaks native Italian but are English speaking. We were an hour and a half late on Valentines day plus being in a hurry to get to the theater (traffic was unbelievable) and still the staff was friendly and got us out on time. Our waiter suggested a couple of pasta dishes that were well prepared and delicious. Unfortunately we didnt have time for dessert, Im sure that it would have been great.Next time, well wont be in a rush.
Mediocre at best. We t because of reviews here, not trusting ANY of you again. Not bad, but could have eaten just as well at any pizza place nearby and saved a ton. Had Risotto balls, Gnocchi and Linguini with Clams. Both of us left 1/2 our pasta on the plate. Wished shortly after we could have a good meal with decent service soon. Dont go unless you have Low Expectations and willing to pay for the privilege.
Delicious and authentic food, and wine as well. Probably best of its kind in this neighborhood. I loved the food, service and the ambiance. All staff are professional and they care about the quality and service, so when we left the place, we were very much satisfied.I definitely recommend this place and personally, I will be there whenever I get a chance.
Service was good, but unfortunately the food was kind of disappointing. My beet salad was served kind of warm and the beets werent crisp at all. The pasta was good, but overall nothing too special, the pieces of crab in it werent always as hot as the rest of the dish, Id pick another place if I were looking for Italian food near here in the future.
Such fabulous service coupled with a vibrant atmosphere and mouthwatering food. Our Waiter was Nunzio and went above and beyond to make our experience comfortable and memorable. Family had just arrived from Australia and it was the perfect introduction to New York. Highly recommend!!
A fun local pasta place. The squid tagliatelle with crab is fabulous. All our pastas were great and their sauce too. Its all homemade pasta. You can try a few things and share your dishes. Drinks and wine list are spendid. Its a fun place. Noisy but you can still hear each other if its a smaller groups. A good place to eat. The hostess and bar tenders are very helpful too. A great meal is ahead here and reasonably priced.
The service is very good, and the dishes are great comfort food. The Arancini are very tasty. The only issue is the noise. Its incredibly loud especially at the back of the restaurant. To the extent that I had to take a break outside during the meal. Ask to be seated close to the front.
I dont know why this place has only 3 1/2 stars, I think its awesome! I ate here the other night for a birthday thing and I must say, I loved the ambiance, service, drinks and food! The hostess wanted to seat us by the door, but it was a little nippy, so we asked to be moved. She did so, and was very nice about it.We ordered drinks, I had the Cucumber something or other, my boyfriend had a fruity drink, I cant remember what it was exactly. They were big and delicious! The calamari was wonderful. As well as the fettuccine Alfredo and the lamb shank my boyfriend had.We had creme brule for dessert was which good, but no amazing.I especially liked that the decor was cute and not stuffy like some Italian restaurants. Overall, I had a great time and enjoyed my meal!
What an amazing place! The food was absolutely outstanding. The service was top notch. The atmosphere was incredible. And to top it off, it wasnt even expensive. I highly recommended going to this restaurant. They have 3 locations. I went to the one in Hells Kitchen. But I cant imagine either of the other two not being as amazing.
This place was great. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. They were accommodating and gave great meal recommendations. The food arrived quickly and was delicious! The overall vibe of the place was great.. everything I could’ve asked for. I highly recommend checking it out!
Wonderful service and amazing food! We’ve been coming here for a while and we brought friends and family to this restaurant because their food is always great and their service is outstanding! This place is happy to accommodate dietary restrictions. They also go out of their way to make kids happy. My daughter always creates her own meals and everyone in this restaurant all her requests are always met with a smile.Highly recommend this restaurant!
We decided to visit Bocca di Bacco for another Xmas Eve dinner. The entire staff were not wearing masks. During in the age of COVID and Omicron surging the staff SHOULD BE and is required to by state mandate. Our server did not introduce themself or make any suggestions just asked what we wants as if we were at a coffee shop. We asked for recommendations for appetizers/entrees and could barely form an opinion as to what Items we’re good or not. We felt that they never ate the food they were serving. While eating our water glasses were never filled, we were never asked if we needed another drink or if our food was good/acceptable. Now let me inform you, there were several servers, several runners and a manager floating around, we could have had our waters filled. Some tables were given what looked like bread and olive oil to start when seated. When it came to dessert the menu was just thrown down on the table without ask if we wanted any coffee or after dinner drink. Now the food. the food is amazing as it is at the other locations but nothing to write home about. The pesto looked like it was put through a vitamix with zero evidence of any basil leaf. Our concerns for the well being of the public and patrons we will never visit this establishment again. If they don’t care about covid I only wonder what goes on in the kitchen with the food…
Very good! Appetizers and mains for everyone in our party, give of us, were very good and to everyones liking. We originally intended on ordering from restaurant week menu but prices on regular menu were decent so we opted for the larger selection. Service was also very good without being overbearing.
The staff was very kind and the atmosphere was nice. However, the dish I ordered, the cavatelli with Italian sausage, gave me a stomach ache. It was also a tight squeeze between the two seater tables, and it took a bit to receive our check and leave. The dessert and cappuccino were tasty nevertheless. Overall, I was excited for this restaurant since I love Italian food, but I’m sad to say it let me down.
Husband and I got inspired to have something authentic Italian and so we luckily stumbled upon this place. This place has a nice welcoming hospitality and delicious food and wine. Perfect al denté pasta and handmade sauces. We will definitely come back to eat. Unfortunately, I had to deduct a star because we were given cups and wine glasses with lipstick stains...twice. 😕
I celebrated my Christmas at this location and this place did not disappoint. I did their prix fix menu for $50ish (4 courses) and it was amazing. I would definitely go back and I am actually planning to host two more dinners there later this month. Highly recommended!
Awesome restaurant who paid great attention to my daughters food allergies. Also showed up with a large crowd and they were very accommodating. Also the beer was super cold...wink wink!!! I wish I took photo too tired after a long day will post photos on the next visit
Simply superb. This place is fantastic whether you want to step in for a drink, dining out with a group or out on a date. Ive lost count of the times that ive been in here, but suffice it to say that each time has been phenomenal. I particularly enjoy the selection of wines. The food is also exquisite and have yet to be disappointed.
A casual yet refined menu Italian eatery with a darker ambiance with lighted candles at the tables. On 9th Avenue between 54th and 55th, its a seemingly unassuming place but the service was very good. They give you space to enjoy your dinner but are easily flagged down when you want the check. The caprese insalate with prosciutto was a nice start along with my wifes caesar salad. My 11 year old shared our salads. Dinner consisted of linguini with seafood in a light white wine and tomato sauce. Perfect portion. My wife had the spaghetti bolognese. Although these were very good - my daughters steak was cooked to perfection (medium rare) and the roasted potatoes were a nice side. Huge and satisfying list of bottled wine and wines by the glass. I had the chianti and my wife the lambrusco. A great meal. Reservations were for 6pm and we were seated immediately. Rustic feel but again, great ambiance. A bit loud but again, it was casual and comfortable. Dessert consisted of tiramisu and warm chocolate cake. Both were perfectly portioned (think goldilocks and the three bears: not too small, not too large - just right). We never felt rushed - even for a Friday night. Its definitely a cozy fit but I found it intimate and not at all cumbersome. For being a long and narrow restaurant, you should expect a little closeness - but never felt I was on top of my fellow diners next to us on both sides. Total cost with wine, salads, entrees, desserts and some cappuccino for me set us just short of $200. I was pleased with it. After all, you ARE in NYC. Just a note here - if youre walking from times square (theater district), walk up to 55th at 8th Avenue and walk down 55th to 9th. A lovely street! I can easily see this place as a new staple location for dinner. Just expect to be relaxed but with a touch of sophistication that makes you feel the cost was worth it!! Nice job!!
A friend and I went for brunch on a Sunday. We easily got a reservation and were seated immediately. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. While we were waiting for our food a pigeon flew into the restaurant! They helped it back out into nature in a kind way.Our food was very generous. We each only ordered one mimosa but after we paid they gave us another one for free! Great experience at Bocca di Bacco!!
This place made me think of one of my FAVORITE wine bars in DC, which is a big compliment. From the outside, its such a non-pretentious looking locale. Upon walking through the front door, I found we were greeted by such a pleasant surprise. We were just seated up around the bar area in what was a packed restaurant. I would love to go back and actually have dinner here. The wine selection was superb. The bartender recommended a fantastic red, which I believe was called Primitivo. He explained it was a special type made in Italy from a grape of the same name. All of this, of course, assumes Im remembering this all as well as I think I am :) Our recommended selection ended up with a price tag of I believe $14, versus the many glasses in the $7-10 range on the menu, but I guess sometimes you pay for quality. We never ceased to be amused as well by the random old movies they were playing on flat screen televisions behind the bar. Very odd indeed.Anyhow, overall I was quite impressed, and Ive still yet to try the food my fellow visitors raved about. Next time.
When we arrived at 6:15 for our 6:15 reservation for two, we were told there was no table for us but we were welcome to sit at the bar. I had to argue with the manager to get him to agree to seat us. We didnt see a server for about 15 minutes, and no one gave us menus, so I went back to the host myself to get them. Someone finally came over and we ordered a round of drinks and our food. The drinks came quickly and were good, then no one returned to our table for 50 minutes - empty drinks and no food for almost an hour. When the food came, the pasta was undercooked (like, two minutes shy of al dente) and the saltimbocca was missing both the sage and the mashed potatoes the server told us it came with. We waited for a bit hoping someone would come check on the food, but no one returned to our table the rest of the night. We ate the poor and incomplete food, then I had to walk over to the server station to request and pay our check. I used the restroom before we left, and there was no toilet paper. I would not return.
Went here for drinks & dinner with friends from out of town. Ordered a bunch of dishes for the table and shared. Didnt end up taking photos, but the presentation was good. I didnt care for the calamari, I thought the breading was too grainy? Maybe made with cornflour or something and fell apart too easily. The burrata and prosciutto was incredible as was the carpaccio - great proportion of cheese to beef. We loved the spinach ravioli in brown butter - drool!
Worst restaurant experience I had in my life . Staff is rude. Treated table next to us so well but treated us like we were trash Short summary of what happened:1) Waitress rushed us for an order and told us we can’t take our time to order2) when we asked for a suggestion for wine; she had no clue and was annoyed that we asked .3) She never came to our table unless we desperately called for her attention4) when I gave a lower tip for her horrible service; she berated me and told me 20 percent was what most people gave . I explained that I usually give 20 percent and explained all the reasons that justified her low tip she tried to blame it on me and argued with me.5) I asked to speak to the manager and all he did was shake our hand and told us to come againThis place is not worth anyone’s time or the money. Food is mediocre for the price and service is horrible.
Sit at the Sushi Bar and you will have a stellar experience. The owner, who is also the Sushi chef, makes creative dishes and creates for you once he knows your tastes. My 24 year old who grew up on Nobu, loves it!My husband, the foodie, comes here once a week. I , the picky eater who will only eat 2 kinds of fish, always find variety in the sauces and presentation. The recent renovation was needed and is lovely. The owner, his wife, his brother in law and the staff, who all seem somehow related, create a welcoming atmosphere. If I didnt like them so much I wouldnt write this review as this is the best, most moderately priced food in Tribeca. Their sake is good but they dont have any really high end Saki on the menu! We love the place so much that we are on a Sake finding crusade to cure this only defect.
We ordered drinks, grilled octopus, meatballs and oysters. The grilled octopus was amazing. The ends is where all the flavor is. The oysters is not better than Olde Bar in Philly which is whu i rate them 4 stars. Our bartender was David and he was also extraordinary. Thank you for having us.
Wonderful place for a nice meal and a lovely relaxing atmosphere. Choices range from mid price classic italian to a high end steak. You can have either a simple italian meal or an expensive high end dining experience depending on what you order; both will be excellent.
Our organization reserved the place for brunch today. All the food was delicious- it was buffet and it all came out quickly. good service- there was a nice selection of food-hamburgers, scrambles eggs, pasta, challah french roast to name a few- the burgers were medium and I prefer more well done but other then that I found one pasta dish in brown sauce to be tasty and the other like a primavera more bland and nothing special- all and all staff was welcoming and I would love to go back some time
Food here was delicious and definitely worth checking out! Had the Penne Gorgonzola Noci e Piselli and it felt like a grown-up Mac and cheese, with a familiar richness and unique and fresh flavor. Just one thing to note, in some areas of the restaurant it’s very loud and can be hard to hear companions at your table.
Our Christmas meal was so good that I forgot to take pictures. We had fried calamari and the mussels in tomato sauce. A wonderful light bodied Pinot Noir accompanied our dinner. We ordered the steak, lamb chops, pasta, and jumbo shrimp with white beans. Excellent. Now we are trying to decide on dessert. Hey its the season.
Ive been here twice now. The tagliatelle is actually quite good - I had that both times. This time, I shared the chicken w/ mashed potatoes and broccoli w/ my gf and I can honestly say it was bad. Sort of tasted like a microwave dinner. All three elements were super bland - almost no flavor. We also had the mussels tonight which were average. The service was good.
Had dinner here a few nights ago with a friend who lives across the street. The front of the restaurant opens onto ninth avenue for an al fresco dining experience. There was a very cool breeze that travelled pretty far back into the restaurant and made for a very refreshing dining experience. The service was friendly and moved at a steady pace. I rarely eat specials on my first visit to an establishment but the arugula, watermelon pecorino salad and the rib eye with a barolo wine sauce sounded too good to pass up. Unfortunately, that wasnt the case- the salad was weird..the watermelon chunks were pretty big and the cheese was shredded and soft instead of a shaved slice. The rib eye was cooked nicely but the piece of meat nearly covered my plate and I ended up having to take home more than half of it. Note that I am a 27 year old, 6ft tall guy (translation: I eat a lot). My friend had the swordfish entree. She enjoyed it, but said it wasnt great. All in all it was a fine experience, but I am in no rush to head back.
We went there for a party of 7 on Sunday night the last time we were there the food was fabulous. Then the nightmare began the manager was eating the entire time while we waited for our food we watched another couple get up and leave and saying the service was horrible. We waited an hour for our food that you be fair the food was excellent but, we founded the bill was not clear and they added to tip into the bill and didnt specify it. The bill came out to $347 and was not clear. When we questioned the bill with the manager he told us never to come back to the place again we also found out from the bartender that 7 employees just left that last week I dont know whos running this place right now and he wouldnt say his name but he acted like he was a thief I will never go there again the party we were with live ten him blocks away and they will never go back there again. I NEVER WROTE A BAD REVIEW BY THIS PLACE IS BEING RUN BY THUGS.
Food was good. Service was not great. We didnt have a designated server and we had to ask several times for water and to order. We were seated for 20 minutes before being asked if we water and it never came. Atmosphere was nice but there was a strange smell of sewer that was bad when we first got there that kept going away and coming back. Definitely recommend the short ribs and the tiramisu was excellent.
Had a birthday reservation at 11:30pm made via open table and I walked in, the bar tenders and servers were having a convo and looked over but didn’t say anything until we made it a point for them to know that we were waiting. The bar was full. One of the servers came and said that the kitchen decided to close early even though we had a reservation. Super upsetting.
My friend wanted to try this Italian restaurant with several locations in the city. We ended up in the theater district. We actually wanted the Hell’s Kitchen. It was a busy night and even with reservations had to wait a few for a table. The crowd was typical mid-town. Men in leather loafers or business attire. Women all dolled up for the evening with their Coach bags. Most if not all eating before their Theatre. Well, some might not make it.. One lady in a chic attire only a mid-westerner thinks what one should wear to a NYC show was so plastered she could barely stand. She just decided to sit back down…there goes Mamma Mia at 7pm.We got a nice cozy table only by squeezing through a mass of people between the bar and people eating on the other side. The waiter was quick to get to us. The menu looked good with assorted meat, seafood and pasta dishes. We started with some cocktails to jolly up the meal. The grilled octopus appetizer was very well flavored tender. The seafood special past came with half a lobster and I got the grilled Branzio (Not the whole fish. Just the fillet). I’d have to say food wise was very good. The server was attentive water always filled.I’d have so say while the many Italian restaurant in the city. The food quality and service was very good but Bocca De Bacco seems to me like another Italian chain like Biaggi’s, Buca de Beppo and Maggiano’s.
Went during restaurant week for lunch the restaurant was nice and the service was great. I ordered the crab cake and seafood pasta and left running to the bathroom with a stomach ache the rest of the day. Seafood may not have been the best choice but the pasta was nice
Made a reservation for 8pm and waited for over 45 minutes and were never told anything about our table. We asked multiple times and the hostess was rude and told us that we only had to wait 5-10 minutes more, which obviously wasn’t true. The staff nor manager seemed to care that we’ve been standing there for over 45 minutes, so my party and I just ended up leaving. Like I get it, it can be hard to turn tables sometimes, but manners and acknowledgment can go a long way.

2022-06-16Our Central Park Carriage driver recommended this place and it’s a great find. Beautiful decor, great service and delicious food. One of my favorites is Gnocchi and it was perfect. We missed the crowd and were seated right away but halfway through our meal, most of the tables were full.

2021-12-17BDB has some good tasting pasta that of moderate portion sizes. The interior is nice. And the staff is attentive. Its an above average Italian place you wont regret going. Just be careful of too many appetizers, they will rack up in price quickly.

2021-12-29We came here because when we checked in our hotel they recommend this place. I give it a 3 because the service was a shame. The two tables beside us were both helped before us and sat down after us. Keep in mind we had reservations. However the only upside was the wine was great and my plate was perfect! I would recommend that plate in a heartbeat. On the other hand the other plate (spaghetti and meatballs) was such a small serving for the price. The sauce was great but for what we received, very overpriced. My plate was a couple bucks more and had much more food.

2022-02-25An excellent Italian restaurant! Im not a big fan of Italian food, but everything here was made to perfection. The aranchini was delicious and so was the Ceasar salad. Very recommended!

2021-12-13I had a great experience here. On a busy Friday night, the service and staff were quick and friendly. All the food I had was tremendous in flavor. The portions were also well sized. Overall I had a good experience here and would come back again.

2021-12-03Always reliable for a good Italian meal at a reasonable price. This location is more spacious than the one at 45th St, but was still packed pre-theater. I know there is a pandemic related staff shortage, Hopefully they can hire some additional servers to work out the delays, we barely got out of there in time for our show. I had the seafood linguine special, which I must say was not one of my favorite dishes at B di B. Another thing I like is that you can find a decent Italian wine at a reasonable price.

2022-05-24Met a couple of friends for dinner. Had the fried zucchini as my appetizer & the salmon for my entree. Both were delicious, the atmosphere was perfect & the entire staff were exceptional. 5 star service as well as food.

2022-02-14Service was great, food came out quickly but I did not feel rushed at all. I think the cheesecake had ricotta cheese in addition/instead of cream cheese so it was more textured than I was expecting, but everything was delicious!

2022-02-20Amazing service, and amazing food! It was our first time coming here and it won’t be the last. The sever recommended the Truffle Burrata special for appetizer and it was delicious! My friend and I also ordered the Cacio e Pepe and the Carbonara and they didn’t disappoint. We each got our own tiramisù and it’s the best tiramisù I’ve had! Tutto è stato perfetto! Grazie mille, ci rivediamo presto!

2022-07-08I give 5 stars for the food, been in this place couple of times, I love the food and the service but tonight our server CARLOS C. Is the worst very disgusting server I experienced in this place, not friendly, first I didn’t ask or he didn’t asked if we want our food to be serve in 2 plates/ half serving , never told us about the special, never offer any condiments/ cheese, he is sarcastic server. I never expect to encounter this kind of server in Bocca di Bacco. He needs more training.
