We brought our car here for a repair that was quoted at $1700 plus at another local garage, we paid about $600 for the total repair at Bodners. Wayne was very helpful, and theyre always busy there for a reason. 👍🏻 it took them less time than expected to do it and we were charged accordingly, so we saved even more. We will be returning customers.

Brought my wife’s southern Tahoe which was and is exceptionally well maintained, in for an inspection. Only 6 days before I had a electrical issue diagnosed and repaired in a professional shop in Syracuse. They did a full inspection and recorded that the parking brake works but should be adjusted for more friction/hold. I personally replaced the parking brake shoes a month ago, and agree they should be adjusted for more hold. The Tahoe is an automatic. I believe I was working with the owner. He was friendly. He failed the Tahoe for “Parking brake “, scrapped our inspection sticker and told me it would cost “$500 to $1000 dollars as he would have to pull the axles replace the seals, as my backing plates we’re almost gone “. So I left vulnerable to a ticket. Went to a part store got split backing plates( which have no impact on the brakes except a dirt dust shield) for $37, an actuator kit for $11.32. In the morning replaced backing plates and actuators. These were not necessary, a good idea, but not necessary. The actuators simply needed a few turns each. Bodner wanted to charge me $1000 dollars for a simple job requiring 30 minutes to an hour max labor by a shop. I got the Tahoe inspected Monday morning somewhere else. I strongly advise everyone else to do the same.

I had a funeral to go to, needed my car to get there... got me right in and had it fixed in plenty of time to get there... I Definitely recommend Bodner Auto Service, and i will Definitely be a repeat customer!

We dropped our car off for repairs, it was overheating...after two weeks (knowing that we were paying for a rental car) of delays and excuses they finally fixed it. We picked it up on Thursday and it was back in the shop that Monday for the same problem. They couldnt get to it until Thursday. We gave them specific instructions how to recreate the problem to diagnose and repair. They had it Thursday night, Friday, and all weekend. Not once did they call us with a progress update. They did not return my phone calls. We found out Monday, after we had to call them hourly, that they could not reproduce the problem. They did not do anything we told them to recreate the problem. We collected the car, and now, three days later, it sits smoking in my driveway.The lack of professionalism and inconvenience of being expected to do their jobs (one guy actually said that if they did something they would have to charge for it) means that we will NEVER take our vehicles there again.

I have had my automobiles serviced here for better than 15 yrs to include transmission replacement on my GMC. Imports, domestic autos. I definitely recommend them.

Never take your vehicle to this shop brought my truck there because there was no compression in cylinder #4 so heads had to go to a machine shop well after they got the heads back then another problem came up and then another and another well after they couldnt figure out what was going on they went behind my back no call or nothing the decide to go to the junkyard and buy a motor for my truck well they ended up buying a motor that didnt fit my truck so it was back to trying to figure out the issue with my truck they went and bought parts for my truck without ever confirming it with me first well needless to say its been 6 months now they have my truck and i havent gotta a phone call from them in 4 month if not more everytime you go past there shop the truck is just sitting there out in the parking lot and just a warning if you go in there mad because they cant do there job they will go around town bad mouthing you and im probably forgetting some stuff but thats the most of it so please be aware people take your vehicle to a better place these guys need to be put out of business.
