It was supposed to be $25 per day. You pay a reservation fee and there are some added expenses but still a clearly contracted price. When you go to pick up your car, they charged more than that contracted price.The agent will tell you there’s nothing he can do about it and that I have to call to get it corrected. He said I did not read the fine print but I showed him the contract and he did not even look at it. He said it wasn’t his business so he really didn’t care whether I came back again. The two customers in front of me were also surprised to see that it cost more than what it says in the contract including all taxes and fees. So I think you’re better off just parking at the airport since parking for 16 days cost me about $28 a day. Uber is an even better option. Hard to find the lot also.
This was my first time parking here...I was nervous because some airport parking lots in NYC have horror stories in the reviews.I will definitely use in the future!Easy to find location; friendly drivers lot attendants & desk attendants. Easy to get back to I-95Once I entered the lot there was an attendant waiting who helped us get our luggage out of the car & into the shuttle while I was registering my information at the desk. They provide a text to use upon return to request the shuttle back to the lot...I followed the link in the text while walking through the terminal; by the time we got outside to the pickup location there was a shuttle pulling up.Upon return to the lot my car had already been pulled out waiting.
Parked my car Feb 26-Mar 5, 2022. Waited over an hour for a shuttle. Found my car all scratched. Somebody also threw up on it. I was advised by attendant to leave and call back when manager was present. I refused to do so and submitted the claim on the spot with photos of damaged car. I have not heard from them for almost a month - keep calling and email them at least once a week. Horrible company, horrible attitude, horrible service.
Great service, however, If you have to use this service you have to be 2hrs earlier for your flight because the shuttle to the airport waits for it to be full before moving. Also coming back for pickup, I will advice you request the shuttle immediately you landed literally. If you wait until until you get to the pick up area to call, you are looking at 30-45mins wait time. Overall, it saves my family money of taking Uber to the airport and back home. Also, nothing happened to the car. I will definitely recommend their service.
Drop off, Pickup, and shuttle back and forth were great. Did not wait long for anything. Unfortunately, my taillight was cracked at some point during the stay which I understand can happen in a large lot with many cars being moved in and out and parked close to each other. The good news is they immediately had me fill out a damage claim and had me take pictures. They said they would review their security footage and I assume they verified it happened in their lot as they had me get a quote from 3 body shops of my choosing. After verifying the quote costs with their shops, they then sent me a check for the exact amount of my lowest estimate. This all took place in just over 2 weeks. Many thanks to Emi for processing my claim and emailing me with updates as they took place, and to Emanuel for assisting me throughout the process. Between the two of then they explained how the claim process worked, were professional, courteous and worked together to speed up the whole process. Giovani at the counter was also very friendly, sympathetic, and helpful the day it happened. Word of advice is to take pictures of your car at any lot when you drop off to make the verification of any damage on site much easier. I forgot to do this, but they still did the right thing in the end. I would use their lot again in the future.
I consciously choose this lot for its “advertised” frequent shuttle service to the airport which is a flat fee charge that is included in your charges. Unfortunately, I was not able to utilize this service going to or from the airport. I had to take two Ubers. The driver for the shuttle during my arrival literally drove pass my son & I twice and left us at the airport. I watched him load up people (who do not look like my son & I *read between the lines here* ) as I was on the phone with dispatch informing them that we were unable to cross the street right away to get to the shuttle due to construction - we had to walk down and come around. The BOLT dispatcher assured me that the driver would contact him before leaving the airport and that is when he’ll tell him not to leave us, which never happened. Then I was still charged the shuttle fee even though I had to pay for Ubers in place of the shuttle. Save your money - park at a reliable parking. They are not for everybody. They assume certain customers can not afford tip so they do not service every one. Racist and unacceptable.
Drop off went fine but pick was a disaster. My flight was delayed by several hours and I did not arrive at LGA until 1:00 am. I collected my bags per their instructions and requested a pick up via text/ticket. Forty five minutes passed and no shuttle arrived. I tried calling for another 45 minutes but no one answered the phone. I called their other location but they offered no help. Finally, I called an Uber and spent $18 to get to the parking lot. I flagged down a guy in a shuttle and asked for my car. I told him I had been trying to get a shuttle for over an hour and a half and asked why no one picked me up. He said he was out moving cars around. No apology offered. He said they would discount my fee but that never happened. I wrote to them requesting compensation for my Uber and for failing to hold up their 24 hour service. I got no answer.As a woman alone in NYC at 2-3:30 am waiting for a shuttle that was never to arrive, I was extremely disappointed in this company.
DO NOT RECOMMEND. my car was parked off of the lot in a dirt field. when i picked my car up i was told they use a “secondary lot” which clearly is a mud field adjacent to the property despite the fact that when i asked i was told they park across from the office. they didn’t care, handed my key and told me it was standard for outdoor parking. there are lots of options for LGA, i would stay away.
Parking nightmare. Not a big review guy, but this has to be said.Waited 1 and 1/2 hours for the shuttle. Finally gave up and took a taxi to get my car. They dont pick up the phone, you have no idea if the shuttle is coming, or when. Their text system is arcane and useless. And to boot - they scratched my bumper. They are the most expensive parking near LaGuardia, but you dont get what you pay for. My advice - if you are thinking about this place - Bolt elsewhere - anywhere.
This place doesn’t even deserve a star. I came back from a trip late at night to find my car had a completely flat tire. The owner refused to take any responsibility despite the fact that it was damaged during their care. He told me it was a slow leak and the 4” screw that was in it was not their responsibility. The leak was so loud and the air coming out so quick I could hear the air hissing out when they filled it. Not one of the 6 men there could or would change my tire. The best they could do is put air into it and send me to a sketchy tire repair at 11:30 at night in Long Island city, which I paid for. The attendants said blatantly that flat tires happen there all the time and the owner will do nothing. This place is shameful and the help I received was beyond the pale. I will never park here again.
It’s 4am. We find Bolt Parking which is an alleyway next to a self storage building. It’s park your own car in a narrow limited space. After checking in the lone van and driver takes off leaving at least six of us there until he returns. Everyone goes to the guy at the desk who says sorry we only have one driver ask for a discount when you return. We all call Ubers $20.On returning the same guy at the desk offers a $10 discount for not being able to do what we went there for. NEVER AGAIN! It’s pathetic that this is what we are left with at a now world class LGA for parking.
It’s 30 minutes after calling Bolt, and I’m waiting in the freezing cold waiting for the shuttle. I’ve seen Airpark shuttle swing by 4x while waiting. I never leave bad reviews, but this time I can’t help myself. Do not use Bolt!!! BTW I’m still waiting. Horrible service they lied over the phone about arrival time of the shuttle. Finally picked up. It took 38 minutes. About an hour until I finally got my car. Worst parking experience ever.
The company offers $5 off if you show them you give a 5 star review so I dont trust any of those. First shuttle to the airport was unorganized and had some people waiting so long they had to call an uber. Second shuttle from the airport was there fairly quick with no issues and a nice driver. Checking out they hit me with a extra fee because they said I had an SUV. I told him a honda HRV is a subcompact and is shorter in length then most sedans. He shrugged and said well we measure by height. I asked why would you measure by height for your outdoor parking lot and I got another shrug in return. Other employees you could tell were uncomfortable and kept saying sorry.
One of the worst experiences I have ever had with a company. Drop off my vehicle at there lot. Shuttle was overfilled/ shut the van door and drove off. Was told by employee “ get an Uber “ . Leaving a customer in a parking lot at 4am with no service is the worst. Literally the customer service doesn’t exist. When arriving back to LGA, responded to the text/link for pickup. Says 10 mins (took 45mins) when the shuttle arrived multiple families were upset and rejected from entering the shuttle. This company uses walkie-talkie from the 90s to communicate. There is no dispatch/reception/coordinator.This company fails on amount of shuttles/ personal. Do not take on more than you can handle it is simple.Spend more at the airport before spending 1 1/2 hr in limbo with this company !
I used Bolt 3 years ago and parked my car long term for 1 week without a single issue in regards to the price or damages to my vehicle. I am using them again today for an extended weekend trip and trust that I will receive the same professional and curtious service from both the lot attendants as well as the shuttle drivers. Every single business no matter what type has good and bad reviews depending on the person and situation, thats just something we all have to deal with in life but I am confident in great service again today.
I used this service for airport parking and it was fast smooth and the staff was very helpful & very polite . They come right away to take you to your gate & accommodate you in anyway you need . One thing that stuck Out to me was the manager Emi , He was very nice and welcoming . But on our way back when we picked the car up , my son lost his iPad in the van . Emi was so kind hearted to me , locked his iPad in his office so it was safe & shipped it back home to us . If that’s not enough to use this shuttle company , I dont know what is . Just shows he cares about his customers Enough To provide them with great service . I’m so appreciative ! I will always use bolt parking when flying out of New York .
Long story short, I usually dont use LGA but ultimately decided to for my recent trip. I searched parking spots in the area and found Bolt. To say the customer service at this facility is horrible, would probably be a compliment. Rude, condescending, and unhelpful would be some of the words to describe them. I will never use this place again nor will I recommend it to anyone.
Pros:- Easy summon your pick-up shuttle process- friendly service- they cleared the snow off my car- easily recognizable shuttlesCons:-1 star for taking 2 hours to pick me up-1 star for not having big enough or frequent enough shuttles (after an hour I wasnt let on because the shuttle was full)-1 star for charging an extra day (!!!!) because I got back after the time I put down when I dropped off my car (even though I summoned the shuttle well before that time)-1 star for not telling me that was their policy. I would have added extra time just in case if I had knownAlso they have massive potholes throughout their dirt lot, and their final price was 33% higher than what I now realize was only a rough estimate online.I called multiple times while waiting for the shuttle, and all they said was that the shuttle was coming soon. I will not use them again in favor of a service that has regular shuttles every 15-20 minutes instead of calling for it to come.
Be careful when parking here as the employees might take your nee car for the weekend when left there on long trips. I secretly recorded my mileage before dropping of my car on a Thursday. When I came back Monday the vehicle had 100 extra miles and a nick on my rear bumper. I messed up by driving from lot before complaining about this so I took the loss. I had to buff the bumper at a cost of $150 & the extra 100 miles on my mileage. Tell them your mileage and have them place it on file to avoid this. There is a reason why they dont request your miles when dropping off like other places do.
DO NOT park here and if you risk it, check every inch of your car before you leave the lot. We dropped our brand new (5 day old car) here to fly home for the holidays. We picked up our car, 8 days later, around 10pm and drove home to our garage where we found a massive dent in our drivers side door. We called immediately to report and were told that we didnt make a claim at the lot so this couldve happened on the way home...no, no moving vehicles driving on I-95 smashed their car door into our door on the way home so, no it couldnt have happened on the way home. The claims team says they cant find anything on the tapes (they first looked at the passenger side only) and wont take responsibility for it. Super frustrating when we trusted our brand new, un-dented car here only to be given the runaround when they very clearly damaged it. Were faced with a $1400 auto-body bill on a car that we barely drove more than 5 times before it was smashed into by the careless staff at Bolt Parking LGA.
The service was quick and efficient. Driver was hauling and that was what I needed at the time. Not luxurious, but fine vehicle.I thought I read that this place is closest to the airport, I was leaving from terminal D and it was not. Very far from terminal D, and in location that until you reach it, youre convinced that your not heading in the right direction.
Bolt was very accommodating and helpful. I love how easy their system is for requesting the shuttle, payment when you pick up and how they send you simple and easy text messages right to your phone with all the info you need. Bolt is literally the best parking place I have used!!
This parking service for the airport was good overall. I loved that they have a shuttle as well to drive customers to LGA to & from. The shuttle bus itself was high quality, good seats. My family & I left our van there for almost a week, it cost us $167. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because there was a struggle with getting our car keys returned to us. Turns out the guy just parked our van closer recently & forgot he had it in his pocket still. I know it was an honest mistake but still.
Are you a thrill seeker? Are you looking for a chance to die in a fiery shuttle van crash? Then park at Bolt. While the drop off was fine, the pickup last night was quite an experience: Waited 30 minutes, got picked up at Terminal D and driven to the other end of the airport. Then the shuttle turned around, drove all the way back to my original pickup spot(!) before picking up more passengers at other terminals. The driver was a reckless maniac, speeding with no regard for other cars, potholes or turns. Luggage flying and crashing into the sides of the van, passengers holding on for dear life... The person at the counter did not care at all, so they must consider this normal.
I left my SUV parked at bolt parking LGA for 1 week in June 2021. Upon pick up I noticed my car was damaged, dented and scratched. I filled out a form and the front desk took pictures. They said the cameras would be reviewed. I have since sent them 3 estimates ranging from 750 to 1100. They agreed to pay me $850 for the damages. I have called and left messages for the owner? Boss? Manager? Alyssa which never returns my calls. It has been almost 6 months and Im still waiting for this manager to send me a check from corporate. The times she has been reached she states her front desk staff nevergives he messages. Take pics of your vehicle before trusting these people
NEVER AGAIN! DO NOT USE THEM! Shuttle picked us up from the airport , we arrived at the lot, and I did a walk around of the car before going inside to pay, I noticed the damage on the drivers side bottom of the doorWent inside to inform them of the damage before we paid the bill, I told them that I wanted them to come outside and take pix, and they did and I did too.Filled out a claim form, and they said someone will be in touch with me within 24-48 hoursBut they didn’t, so I called back after waiting 3 days.Spoke to Marco, I explained to him that no one ever called me, and he said “ART” who handles the claims, will call me back.After another day, Art finally called me and said he looked at the cameras coming in and the damage was already there. I told him that’s utterly impossible! The car is new, and in pristine condition. He said he will email me the proof. He Got off the phone with me very quickly. I waited for it all day, so I decided to call him at 2:25pm and told him I didn’t receive anything yet, he then asked me where the damage was, and I said the bottom of the drivers side door, he said he will resend it, I thought this was odd because if he already sent it to me, wouldn’t he have known what part of the car camera grab to send me?Anyway, I got it, looked at it, and saw that he had circled an area on the car that showed absolutely zero damage on the car when it came in the lot. So I called him back immediately, at 2:33pm, and they put me on a brief hold and came back on and said he already left for the day, and I said really? And they told me to call back tomorrow Friday 8/30, they said he gets in about 9:00am, they didn’t even offer to take a message from me.In the meantime, I answered his email by sending him a video I took that day in the lot, also photos Too.FRIDAY 8/30Called Art, he said he spoke to the manager that was on call that day, and the manager said he ran his hand across the damage, and no paint chips came off, I said It’s not peeled down to the paint, it looks as if a black rubber bumper or possibly plastic bumper was scraped against the bottom of the door, I wasn’t there, so I don’t know what “exactly” did the damage, I never said it was paint. I also told him that the manager that rubbed his hand against the damage not only saw the damage, he also asked one the guys there to take pictures.I explained all this to him, and he said WE WILL DENY THIS CLAIM. I said Im not letting this go! He said do what you have to do, I said fine I will because you guys did the damage, we left our car with you, gave you the keys and got it back damaged period. I also told him his picture clearly shows there was NO damage when the car was coming in!TIPS: Whenever you leave your car anywhere, take a walk around video using your phone because it has the date and time, also take some photos as well. Do this BEFORE AND AFTER. This is your ONLY TRUE PROOF. I read somewhere that the more claims that they DON’T pay, they get a kickback. So PROTECT yourself from these sharks!!! Look up BAILMENT, this is what protects you when you leave your car with a valet or parking lot that take your keys. Wish me luck!
Took 45 minutes between ordering the shuttle and getting picked up at the terminal at 10am. One shuttle had to leave us waiting for the next one because it was crammed full. They should have more shuttles running.Then they offer you $5 off if you leave a 5 star review. Well it wasn’t worth the $5.Otherwise, the shuttle drivers were very friendly and they tried. Car was perfect, no damage. So those are good things but overall will probably try another service next time
Avoid this place!! I had a horrible experience here my first and only time using this lot. Drop off went smooth, no complaints there. Pick up from the airport was a nightmare. I arrived on a Sunday night around 10:30pm. Following the instructions I was given at drop off, I request a shuttle pick up online through their site. 20 minutes later I call to get a status and am told theyre sending the shuttle (so online request did absolutely nothing). 30 minutes pass and I call again only to be told that the shuttle came and I wasnt there. After I explain to the rep that this is impossible because I was standing at the pickup point the whole time and confirm my location for a second time, they send the shuttle again (or at least they said they did since I never saw it). And same exact conversation another 20-30 mins later. At this point Ive wasted an hour and a half and just want to get home so I pay for a cab to the Bolt lot. Im just amazed at the sheer incompetence and disregard by the Bolt staff (not the same ones as the drop off). They never tried to contact me even though Im pretty sure I was the only one requesting pick up. Driver was obviously going to the wrong location but there was zero effort to coordinate by the office employee. Use them at your own risk, Ill never set foot here again.
This review should in no way reflect poorly on the hardworking drivers at Bolt. Simply put, the place is mismanaged and understaffed. We nearly missed our flight out because the shuttles only leave every 20 minutes or so, plus it is farther from the airport than some competitors so the drive time is 15 to 20 minutes. When we returned a few days later and requested to be picked up at the airport we waited for an hour for a shuttle to arrive which ended up being full so we had to wait even longer for the next shuttle. There are not enough shuttles running, in the time it took for one bolt shuttle to show up I saw a competitor Airpark 3 or 4 times.
Great Customer Service- Because of the ongoing construction project at LGA the shuttle bus provided by Bolt had a hard time getting to us. This delayed our ability to get back to our car as quickly as we would have liked. As frustrating as that was, the agent at Bolt did an excellent job of keeping us updated on when the shuttle would be arriving. Once we got to the Bolt facility he did what was needed to be done to make sure we were happy customers.Because of Jonathan’s excellent customer service we will 100% be using Bolt Parking in the future!
This is the second and last time we will be using Bolt Parking Lot when going to LaGuardia Airport. We had to wait for over 50 minutes for the shuttle to come get us at the airport. This place is less than 2 miles away, I understand even a 15 minute wait but 50 is unacceptable. We called twice while waiting and they said they are on their way. It was also midnight so on top of a long travel day we are stuck waiting 50 minutes for a shuttle to take us to our car. Will never use Bolt Parking Lot again.
Everyone at Bolt parking was extremely accommodating and helpful. The shuttle was very easy and we didn’t have to wait for it to get to the airport or back to the parking lot upon our arrival. We were traveling with a 5 month old infant and appreciated everything they did to make our trip stress free. Great experience overall!
Left my phone in my car at Bolt parking lot and didnt realize until I had gone through airport security. Called Bolt and they put my phone in my glove compartment and it was there when I picked up my car. They also were very quick and organized traveling to and from the airport. Definitely would park here again!!
Let me tell you this is an amazing company with excellent customer service, which is hard to find these days.I never used an off airport parking service before, and I will now only use BOLT for any of my future trips.I had an early 6AM flight so I got to Bolt at 3:45AM and there was a shuttle parked waiting for me, and I parked my car right next to the shuttle, loaded my bags and we were off.The way back I sent them a request on the text, they previously sent me, and it asked what terminal I was at I punched in Terminal C and within 15 minutes there was a shuttle there to get me.I will only use Bolt from now on they are #1 in my book.
I use these Bolt all the time. Tricky to find but well worth it. No matter what time of day I come, I never have to wait more than 10 minutes for a shuttle and the car is right out front as soon as the shuttle pulls up. I also lost my EZ pass one time (it must have fallen off my windshield and I kicked it out of my car) and they shipped it out to me. Fair prices too for the area. Recommend 100%
My experience was not very good. Parked my car three days 107.00Pro.. when I told the driver of the Jitney taking us for our departure flight I was pressed for time he got me there fasterCon.. when I arrived back I followed the instructions to request a Jitney as I was walking up a different driver closed the door and drove off with me and others yelling to stop.I called to get picked up but you never reach anyone on the phoneI had to take a 10$ cabNo apology was given10$ was not taken off my totalMeanwhile they damaged another persons car and treated her like it was no big deal very dismissive.I wont be back if I can help it
I went and made the reservation on their actual website. I went and dropped off my car and was able to retrieve it with no problem. The pick up was swift on the return back and what I was quoted is exactly what I paid. This is a very efficient and well ran business! I will use them again in the future.
Several issues:- made a reservation on cheapestairportparking, total came to $85, when I arrived I was charged $95. First I was told, this is a shuttle fee, which I denied because the site said it was included. Then the lady said this is cheapestairportparking mistake because they have a wrong price- +2 scratches, luckily minor, but hey its brand new car- also they give discounts for 5 star reviews, so likely this is where all 5 stars came from
Should have read the reviews prior to this service.Seems like they do not have enough shuttles and over book themselves. Getting to the airport was no issue, but leaving to get back to your car was basically impossible. After over an hour wait we finally got picked up and was cramped into a tiny van with way too many people in it. Also the driver was rushing and whipping corners and slamming on the brakes making everyone basically fly around the van. I deffinetly do not recommend.
After arriving at the airport, my husband could not get through for at least 15 minutes or so. I tried to call from home and couldnt get through either for about 10 minutes. When I did get someone on the phone, I had to click over to speak to my husband to get his gate info and was disconnected. When I tried calling back, they had blocked my number. They did not pick up my family from the airport nearly an hour later. On top of that, my husband and son had to wait at least 40 minutes for the shuttle to pick them up for the airport. They almost missed their flight because of the delay. The shuttle service DOES NOT run often as it should. This is the worst car parking place that we have ever dealt with. Do not use this company if your time is valuable...
I said never again last time, but really… never again. I ended up having to take an Uber to get my car after waiting over an hour, putting me squarely in rush hour traffic time to drive home. I called multiple times and for most of the time Bolt did not answer the phone. Then they told me I had missed the shuttle, when I had been standing where they told me the entire time. They were rude on the phone, speaking in a condescending way as if I was too simpleminded to understand where the mta and shuttle area was. For context, I generally travel 60% of my time for work, so I am not new to this. I took video recording of where I was waiting standing on the curb, exactly where I should have been. Really ridiculous and frustrating . Stuff happens, but ignoring the phone and talking down to customers is never cool
Will park there again next time I need to drive to LGA. Good shuttle service the back way so as not to get stuck in traffic. Parked there during worst storm IDA and recent massive downpours. My car interior dry despite 8+ plus inches of rain. Gravel parking area must drain OK.
Getting in and parking was fine. Getting back to the lot to pickup my car from LGA Terminal B was a nightmare. The last thing you want when you come back from a trip is to wait over 1 hour (1 hour and 2 min to be precise) to have the shuttle pick you up to take you to the parking lot ...called numerous times and always told that someone is coming (and this is on a non-busy Monday afternoon).
I highly recommend this place! Checking in and getting to my destination was extremely easy and quick. I was crunched for time and almost missed my flight and Mohammad was kind enough to make sure that I arrived at the airport within minutes. The wait time to be picked up was also extremely quick. I will definitely be coming back
Bolt Parking is a great and easy parking service at Laguardia! The shuttle service is so easy and affordable! Jason was a huge help and made the process simple (and he delivered my wallet to me at Laguardia - it fell out of my pocket while I was on the shuttle!). Thank you Jason and Bolt Parking!
No signs telling me where to park only to get told where in a mean way and then corrected by someone else. As I corrected the original guy complained about me while I obviously heard. Would you trust him with your car? No, but what choice do I have.Upon return, at 2am, they told me to have bags before calling them. 12 minutes after calling they tell me to wait another 20 minutes with my 3 kids. Again, zero information telling me about the wait times.This place isnt cheaper than anywhere else so I highly suggest going elsewhere
Convenient, reasonably priced, helpful Staff, safe off-site parking for LGA. Pulled car into lot, shuttle directly to Departure check-in. Upon return, collect baggage, reply to message that was sent to cell at drop-off. Conveniently picked up from Arrival Terminal by Shuttle. Returned to lot, where our car was waiting for us.
I will NEVER EVER use Bolt parking again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Waited almost 30 minutes to get picked up from airport!!!! There was multiple people waiting and the driver stated he was the only shuttle driver. Then to pay for my car and it was higher price then I was quoted!!!!! Please find another service and I’m sure you will be happier!!!!!!!!!!! If I could give them a negative ZERO I would!!!!
Dropped off car early and expected 30 min to get from the lot to the LGA terminal as per other on line reviews, the actual time was about 20 min. The driver was very helpful loading and unloading bags. On the return we were pleasantly surprised the driver arrived at the LGA terminal within 10 minutes, loaded our bags and proceeded to the lot, our car was awaiting us when the shuttle arrived. The driver removed the bags from the shuttle and put them in our car, excellent service. Would recommend this facility to other travelers.
When you initially arrive to drop your car off, note that the sign indicating Bolt Parking is VERY small. They have a huge sign on the gate but since they are open . . . the gate is open so you dont see the huge sign until you pull in. Use Prime Storage as your marker.When we arrived, it was really easy. We parked, went inside to drop off the car and get our ticket. Bolt will send you a text message with a link in it so when you are returning, you click on that link and request a pickup. On the website you pick what terminal you are at and it will tell you were to go wait. We waited a little over 10 minutes. Our shuttle was filled to capacity so I can understand the wait time.When we arrived, the car was already in front for us to go, they backed the car in to make it easy for everyone to leave. We went inside, paid the balance, got our key and left!Note the inside of the trailer you pay at is not fancy. Its not really meant for long waits since ideally you are headed to you location quickly. Theres a couple chairs, water machine and a restroom - thats it.
Had a wonderful experience parking my brand new car at bolt parking. Mohammad at the desk assured me my car would be safe and even pointed me out to a screen showing several different camera angles ensuring the safety of my vehicle. Shuttle to the airport was prompt and comfortable. Bus driver was kind enough to load my luggage (lots of it) and unload it upon arrival at the airport. Was picked up within less than 5 minutes and received a phone call from the office to ensure that I had been in the right place so I could get on the shuttle. Arrived at the parking lot less than 10 minutes after pickup, paid exactly what I had agreed to, and was on my way home just like that. Thank you Mohammad and the rest of the wonderful staff at bolt parking for making parking so efficient and enjoyable. Will be seeing me again soon!
Went to Texas about a week ago, had to leave my car at this parking lot, this was my first time leaving my car at an airport parking lot I was very lost and confused but I met Mohmamed who walked me through the process and made sure I was set for everything. We always talked about cars for a good 30 mins. Great service!!!
I looked at many reviews before deciding to book with Bolt. The main negative was “hidden fees” which is unfortunately correct. I was charged an additional ~$25 on top of my initial quote and when I arrived to check in my vehicle I was told I would be charged an additional $2/day for the “size” of my vehicle (I have a Toyota Rav4). Another review I read was a gentlemen that had a truck, he was charged an extra $3/day. Basically, if you have anything larger than your standard compact car expect additional per day fees. When booking, that information is definitely not out at the forefront. The additional charge for the size of your vehicle really does feel “hidden” and that’s unfortunate.With that being said, and in spite of that one negative, I had a great experience. I was met with warm and inviting smiles when I arrived and I never had to touch my luggage until I got to the airport. When my phone fell out of my pocket in the parking lot, all 4 of the guys went out with flashlights and helped me find it. Really above and beyond customer service. Even with the extra fees it’s probably one of the better priced areas WITH 24/7 shuttle service. The pick up process was also smooth overall. There was a delay due to traffic congestion in regards to the current construction at the airport. After 20 minutes of waiting for the shuttle I was about to call the office and inquire about time frames when I received a phone call from them. They apologized profusely for the delay and stated that because they didn’t know how long the other van was going to be stuck in traffic they were sending another one direct for me. I’ll definitely use Bolt again.
Charged me more than agreed after I came to pick up my car with a giant attitude in tow for me. Then lost everything that was connected to my car keys and said “well we don’t have it” without bothering to look. Never use this place it’s well worth to go somewhere else.
Worst parking experience yet. Waited for over an hour for shuttle pick up at LGA, after three promises of ten minutes or less and their attitude was well be there when we get there; youre not the only person being picked up. Finally just took an Uber to the parking lot, where our car was filthy (okay it is an outdoor lot) and our arrival home was 1:00 am, with a 9:00 arrival into LGA. Never again.
Fast and affordable parking. Drivers and office staff very friendly and efficient, had plenty of help with our bags. Got to the airport in no time! On the return, we were pleasantly surprised. Requested vehicle after we landed and got our bags, didn’t wait more than 2 minutes for the shuttle to the lot, and our car was waiting for us when we arrived at the lot. Best airport parking experience we’ve had.
Middle of the night drop off and pick up was flawless. Friendly staff, safe area, excellent driver who clearly communicated where we were. The staff at the desk were extremely friendly and helpful. The whole parking experience made the trip to the airport perfect.I will definitely use bolt again.
Great service!!!! The parking lot is just 7-8min away from LGA and quite easy to find. We used this parking service several days ago, our flight arrived with a delay after midnight. The shuttle driver was kind enough to pick us up from the stand where we arrived, while the assigned pick up stand is at least 10min walk further. Moreover our car was brought to the parking office and kept running so when we arrived the car was nicely warm inside when the temperature outside was 14F.Hidden fees... I was told that there will be $3/day additional charge for SUV when I had called them to collect some information before getting there to park, and yes, there was additional $13 charge, however at the end it’s cheaper to park there than at the airport or other parking lots with the similar review rate.Definitely would highly recommend!!!!
Easy online reservation and competitive pricing. Especially compared to the daily rate at the airport. The staff was very friendly and quick to assist. The check in process with a reservation took all of one minute and I was in the van waiting for transportation. The wait to depart was under 2 minutes and we made good time to the airport. With all the construction, I will happily let someone e else drive the final 5 minutes. Pickup upon return was simple with the text message link and the wait was 10 minutes.Would park here again for another trip from LGA.
Willing to use them again. Great service and amazing staff crew. Conveniently located and drop off/pick up somewhat fast. Plan ahead of time since LGA tends to be busy by nature and try to be nice to the drivers since they do all that’s in their hands to get you in/put the airport as soon as they can.
I absolutely love Bolt parking. They are efficient and very friendly. I actually live in CT and was visiting my family in Charlotte NC. The flights in CT are so expensive so I booked a flight from LaGuardia. I have a 2 year old so I travel with a car seat and stroller in addition to my suitcase...so I need convenience. I drove to bolt parking and they made everything easy. I parked my car right in front and they checked me in quickly. The next shuttle to the airport arrived in minutes. They packed my things and dropped us at our appropriate terminals and helped me gather my bags. They sent me a text with a link to select upon my arrival back to NY. While waiting for my luggage I requested my pickup and, again, they were here within minutes exactly where they said they would be. I may have been a little lucky with the timing, but the shuttles run about every half hour. So if you request pickup as soon as your plane lands just to be sure that may work as well. Anyway they packed my luggage in the shuttle and brought us back to the lot within 10 minutes. They knew my name before I even got to the front desk and checked me out quickly. I was gone for 9 days. If I parked at LaGuardia it would have cost me around $500 I’m sure.. I only payed $169!! And for excellent service. I will definitely use bolt parking every time I visit my family, which is multiple times a year! Thank you Bolt parking for affordable parking and incredible service!-Jess
I was excited when I found Bolt because it was so much cheaper than parking at LGA and the services sounded great for the price I was getting. My car drop off and ride to the airport was very easy and pleasant. However, returning from the airport was not exactly what I expected. It was beyond cold, so I was hoping they would have my car running as they advertised, but unfortunately that wasnt the case. The biggest issue was that they added hidden fees to my bill (an $8 off-airport recovery and a $5 airport access fee). Its not a big amount of money, but it was $13 more than they told me I would be spending. Not sure I would use again because of the hidden fees.
Drivers of the shuttle to the airport: professional, nice, efficient. Office staff...eh, not so stellar. Was charged for an extra day. Went back in with my online receipt, a little arguing, they agreed to refund it, said it was their mistake. But then all kind of silly run-around about providing me with some paper trail to show that I was not being double charged....since theyd already run through my credit card twice and expected me to sign twice, for two different sets of charges. Not smooth, did not make me feel at all confident that the error was not purposeful or that it would not be something Id have to argue again. Doubt Ill be back.
Very close to LGA. Drop off was smooth, shuttle took us to gate right after we dropped off the keys. They send a text message with a link to click when you are ready to be pickuped that has clear directions on where to to. After clicking the link the return shuttle was there in less than 10 minutes. I highly recommend this service.
I have a car parked at Bolt parking LGA and we have been calling nonstop to get a shuttle from the airport back to the lot. We have been calling for over an hour with no answer. We had to contact bolt parking through JFK. The JFK branch has also tried contacting the branch with no luck. This is very frustrating due to the fact that I am traveling with elderly parents and use this company often. Tonight’s LGA shift however is terrible.
It should be noted that my review stems from my experience landing at LGA at 10:45. However....I still find the service we received to be lacking. They only have one shuttle running in the later hours, which resulted in us waiting an hour to be picked up from the airport. That may have been bearable if they had told us up front how long we should expect, but instead the man at the desk was untruthful and extremely defensive and abrasive on the phone when we called (just once!) for an update. I imagine service is better during the day, but I wouldnt recommend if you plan on getting back late.
Do NOT use them.It took 50 minutes to get a pick up upon return on a recent flight. They claimed traffic tie ups were the cause. But standing at our pickup point we saw multiple other parking services come through multiple times. Their system isnt staffed to handle the volume.they take in.Use them at your own risk.
Its not as expensive, but here is the price you pay:- Its about 15 minutes from the terminal- I waited 25 minutes from requesting pickup to getting picked up, add 15 minutes drive and five minutes to get car and thats nearly an hour after I claimed my bag.- Most disturbingly, my car was splattered with mud when I picked it up -- mud even getting onto the roof. How would this happen?
Very fast service, great price too. When we accidentally picked up the wrong bag and noticed on the ride to the parking lot, the driver took us back to the terminal and waited while we sorted the bags. Then drove us back! We will definitely use this parking lot again.
Bolt Parking was amazing, it was a smooth and easy process. The drivers and the desk attendant were all helpful and provided excellent customer service. The driver helped load my luggage into the vehicle and out the vehicle. If i couldve given 100 stars, i would. Thank you BOLT! Ps. i only waiting 5 min for pick up.
Bolt Parking is pretty good. The staff was courteous and the shuttle was nice. However, customers should be aware of several things:1. They charge a $3/day surcharge for SUVs, even for a small Nissan Rogue which is shorter than a typical sedan. (This is not typical for New York parking garages/lots. Ive parked my Rogue at many lots throughout the city and have never been charged an SUV surcharge elsewhere.)2. Their phone-free pick-up request system did not work. They had texted me a link to click on when I was ready for a pick-up at the end of my trip. I clicked the link, selected my terminal, and was shown a web page saying that my ride had been requested and I should wait at passenger pick-up 4A in Terminal B. I waited for 30 minutes and finally called asking what was taking so long. They said they never got my pick-up request. I eventually got picked up after 40 minutes. They gave me one free day of parking to make up for the long wait, which was nice.3. The entrance to the parking lot is (as of 8/2018) easy to miss due to construction. Go slowly so you dont pass it by.
So the experience up until check out was great. The shuttle dropped us off exactly where we needed and we were easily picked up. The reason they only get 1 star is because they have HIDDEN FEES that the lady at the desk will assure you are written in the fine print. It would’ve been CHEAPER TO PARK AT AIRPORT and not waste time waiting for shuttles.
I would avoid this spot if all possible. I had a pair of sunglasses stolen. While I did forget to remove them from the car they should not have been stolen. For a month I was told the case was being reviewed. I called what must have been over 10 total times to get some sort of answer. All they came back with was were not responsible. I can’t believe I paid $100 to have a pair of sunglasses worth $200 stolen. They said they might be able to offer me some sort of free parking, good luck trying to get me back. Stay away this place is not trustworthy.
Mitt was our driver and he was very quick and responsive when we landed to pick us up. He made sure we were his number 1 priority. Made us laugh the entire time on the way back as well. Bolt was easy to use and its a great company and way to save money on airport parking
While staff is courteous, one of their shuttle drivers was a no show and they had no plan B to get people to the airport, and were unrealistic about time estimates for the single shuttle that was running. A number of us ended up taking an Uber from the lot to the airport, to avoid missing out flights. Thank goodness I had allotted extra time.
This a great team Efficient and Fast . I had a damage incident on my last trip but after working with management we came to the conclusion it was a miscommunication and no fault of the company. Their team is agile and determined to get you to where you are going. I will continue to keep supporting this business and recommended to others. I have also read other reviews that wasnt so great about them but honestly they are working the LaGauardia Airport which as we know at this time is under construction and there is nothing they can do themselves to resolve. Thank you Bolt you Company is greatly appreciated.
We waited 30 minutes for the shuttle to the airport. Luckily we had allowed extra time. On returning the pick up van was fast, only waited 10 minutes. The cell phone system for notifying them that youre ready for pickup was great. My biggest beef with them was the $3 a day charge for my honda crv. I should have driven my accord to the airport. This charge is a pure rip off since compact SUVs take up less space than most sedans. Not returning.
Great experience from a company that tries to please. Bolt makes every effort within their control to make leaving your vehicle and getting to the LGA airport terminals as efficient as possible. LGA construction creates unknowns and unexpected challenges. Bolt runs multiple shuttles w/ courteous, friendly staff and competitive pricing. For travelers, businesses that make their contribution to the travel process pleasant and hassle free are worth allocating precious travel dollars. If youre parking and flying, Bolt should be on your go to list.
This was our first time flying out of LaGuardia and we were looking for an option to park our car. We ended up choosing Bolt and they were more than accommodating. The shuttle to and from the airport was quick. Our driver back, Nakisha, picked us up less than twenty minutes and was super sweet. I would use them again for sure.
My first experience with Bolt Parking is very nice. Its easy and secure. I kept my car there during the snow storms, they cleaned up the snow and make my car ready before arrival. Shuttle service is pretty fast about 5-10 mins waiting at LGA terminals. Highly recommended.
Do NOT park here! Most every place I’ve parked for LGA has vans that depart continuously as they get filled. We sat in a van for 20 minutes and finally went in to tell them others who were in the van had been sitting for an HOUR and were going to miss their flight. Their response? Take an UBER (which these poor people did!) They had several vans and drivers on site so not sure why they couldn’t just leave. They also said that we should have “checked their schedule” — everyone in our van said there was no schedule on the website. The attendant said they have them printed out *in the office*. That’s a little late when you already have arrived at their facility.
Very affordable prices and the service is great. I will never park anywhere else from now on when I fly out of LaGuardia. I highly recommend you make reservations online for the best experience. You should also arrive early so you have enough time for the shuttle to take you to your terminal on time for you flight. Its a very short drive to the airport but due to construction the shuttle may require a little extra time. The pickup experience is not the easiest but thats really not anyones fault. I arrived during the later part of the rush hour but still there was lot of the people trying to get in and out of th airport. But once we got to the parking lot the my car was waiting for me and the AC was running for me so i felt better. Highly recommend them if you fly regularly from LaGuardia airport.
Drop off at the airport was fine. Pick up on the way back was HORRIBLE. Waited an hour in the cold and my husband kept calling they said they were on their way. Finally they come speeding into the terminal my husband waved him down and yelled for him as his window was down and they didn’t seem to have intent to stop. The guy finally stopped for a second he looked our direction and they turned away and sped off blowing a stop sign in the process. When my husband called back they said we weren’t there so they drove away. Now we have to pay for an Uber to get our car. I do not recommend.
Dent in drivers side door that was NOT there prior to pulling into the lot. Picked up my car and noticed the 2.5 inch dent and filled out appropriate paperwork. Just received a call from Bolt saying the dent was there prior to arrival. This is not true. Don’t trust Bolt!!!!! My car was in excellent condition before arriving at Bolt. Now I’ll need some bodywork........now I have $1200 Bill to pay to repair this dent😡
My husband and I came this morning parking at Bolt Parking LGA, we have a brown Honda accord and the young man inside handled everything for us explaining us the parking process and the shuttle pickup times. I was very flattered. We only waited 10 mins for the shuttle to leave and the driver Said Kabab was a huge help. We arrived at terminal b American Airlines he unloaded our luggage’s and he proceeded to drop the other customers. While checking in through security I realized I left my hearing aids in my car back in the lot and I really needed them for my trip. I called the office and said picked up and said he can deliver them when the next shuttle departs. He arrived back in American Airlines within 15 mins and handed me my aids. I was very happy for what a generous thing this young man did, he didn’t have to do it but I truly appreciate the staff and thank you said kabab for your help. Will use you guys again in July when my husband and I go away for our anniversary.
When we arrived to park our car, we were immediately told where to go. The folks working there were helpful. The shuttle driver helped us with our bags. On or way back, our shuttle driver, Freddy was on time and curdious. He welcomed us back with a smile. The car he picked us up in was clean and the AC felt great. I would recommend this service!
I used bolt parking and flew out of LGA earlier this month. Parking at bolt saved me both time and frustration. When I landed the airport traffic was so bad that I was happy I didn’t have to maneuver it on my own (not uncommon with never-ending construction). Our driver was fast and friendly plus he was a professional driver who was able to get us out of the airport way faster than I could have on my own. Overall great experience.
Great service - picked up the phone right away when I called w questions. Shuttles were air conditioned and prompt - pleasant even when waiting to arrived in the worse LGA traffic in years. These guys are working to make sure you get to and from the airport in time! Do it if you’re parking at LGA.
This lot is fairly remote compared to others I have used. When I arrived, the guy there couldnt tell me when the shuttle was coming to take me to the terminal, and mentioned that the previous day it took an hour and a half to just get there, which would have made me miss my plane. He seemed to have no connection whatsoever to the shuttle drivers. The shuttle did show up in time, but on my return, I went to where they told me to go, and there was nothing for 45 minutes. I finally called, and the person who answered acted as if the fault was mine. He told me to walk all the way to the shuttle buses and taxi stand because the shuttle couldnt make it to the pickup location because LGA was a mess. Why didnt they call ME? They had my cell phone number. Then the shuttle still didnt show up. When I called again, this person became angry at me. Did I wake him up? It was closing in on midnight. He said angrily THE DRIVER JUST LEFT TERMINAL B! Then he hung up on me! Wow! Another 20 minutes went by before the shuttle finally showed up. Wait time: 1.5 hours for a ten-minute drive. NOW HEAR THIS: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! I am NEVER going back to these guys! Spend the extra money somewhere else.
I used Bolt Parking for a short trip to NC. The staff was friendly, hospitable, and efficient. Upon my return, Ray was friendly, patient, and helpful. I want to add, that Keisha the dispatcher was thorough in providing airport exit directions. Overall awesome experience. I will be sure to use them next week, as I will be traveling again.
I have been using this lot for several years now, pretty much since they opened and I have to say NO MORE! The shuttle is not on demand, they fill it up before they leave, I waited almost 25 minutes for my ride to LGA. Then to add insult to injury the driver said the order of drop off would be ascending A through D. Despite arriving at the lot 90 minutes before my flight, the only reason I made it to Terminal D (with 4 minutes to spare) in time to check my bag (and therefore make my flight) was because the traffic around the airport forced the driver to go D to A. Intelligence would suggest asking the passengers about departure times.Service at the other end of the trip was EVEN WORSE! The way you contact the lot for a pickup is via an app on your phone. The app tells you where to wait for pickup, but does not continue to display that location on the final screen that shows how long youve been waiting. The wait for the van was 37 minutes! Yes, it was after 11pm but they were only running 1 shuttle. This place has fallen below minimal acceptable service levels and I for one will not use it again.
Four shuttles on lot, only 1 driver. Waited at least 30 mins after checking in. Everyone knows there is construction around LGA - plan for it don’t use it as an excuse. Missed flight. Miserable day begging to get on stand by flights finally spent $480 to get a confirmed seat arriving 12 hours late. Almost ruined a year long planned climbing trip. Not cheaper than airport if they can’t get you there - I’d have called a cab if I was told about the wait. At least two shuttles should be maned at all times (I was there at 4:30am).Never again!
I reserved a spot for my niece. The arrival went fine. They had an 8:30 am flight. On return, they landed at 5:15 pm and after 2 calls for the shuttle, one they hung up on her, the second call went to voice mail, they made her wait one hour and 10 minutes. When the shuttle came, it was so over crowded that she had to sit on her fiances lap and others had to stand. Guess that .7 miles from the airport doesnt matter much!
2nd time Ive used Bolt in the last 2 months and it is perfectly average. The convenience/cost savings of driving yourself to and from the airport is worth the price here. Points off for slow service. I understand its tough to shuttle so many people back and forth but I have no patience - especially when Im trying to catch a flight. Ended up calling an Uber to drive to LGA (cost around $11) and took a yellow cab back when we returned. This adds to the overall price of the service but if youre in no rush or get there early the shuttle is a viable option.
The shuttle going to and from the lot was very convenient. Thats probably the only nice thing I have to say. My car is brand new left it at that lot immaculate with nothing on it. When I pulled up to pick it up it looked someone took my car off-roading. The amount of mud and rocks on my cars front end was unacceptable. The guy didnt seem to care much said Im going to give you $10 off because your car is mad f***ing dirty they must have parked in your construction zone there was literal rocks resting on my hood and roof. Of course when I cleaned everything discovered a lot of chips all over my front end
We just used Bolt Parking, parked our car for two weeks. The staff was very helpful and friendly. This was our first time flying in an out of LGA and they were very patient with all my questions and confusion. The shuttle vans we clean. Pricing was cheap compared to other locations. Would use them again.
Will NEVER park here again!! Incredibly rude service at drop off and pick up. The car was dirtier than Ive ever seen (they claimed it was due to a storm over the weekend but none of the other cars in the lot looked like ours - you couldnt even see out of the windows), AND it would barely start. When we mentioned to the attendant that something was wrong with the battery he shrugged us off and told us its fine. Within a day the battery was completely dead and had to be replaced, it was fine before this trip...Even worse than all this was the service when I called and asked the manager to review the tapes. He was incredibly rude to me over the phone and told me that most people wouldnt even have called you back. I informed him that if I hadnt received a call back, I would have reported them to the BBB and still intend to do so due to the service. Do not park here if you want your car or yourself to be treated with respect.
I use this parking lot once in a while and their service is always amazing! They have this one guy there named Mohammad and he always does service with a smile. Great professional attitude even when Ive seen him overnight! Overall great experience each time and I will continue to use them
Great option for parking when flying out of LGA. I reserved a spot online with our designated travel times/dates. It was by far the cheapest option around for a 5 day park. Pulled in, and Freddy (the lot attendant) was waiting, and assisted us immediately. Check in was fast, and the shuttle came in less than 10mins. Very efficient, clean, and professional staff. Will definitely use again in the future.
This place was awesome! Very friendly staff! I actually had to travel on business and had to take a red eye flight and when I arrived at the bolt parking garage facility the staff was extremely helpful and took me to the airport and came to pick me up on a very timely basis! I strongly recommend this parking facility. I will be using them in the future again.
Fortunately I wasn’t a passenger on shuttle 82 this morning (11/2/19) at 4am. Not only did the driver wait until the last minute to merge into the lane that I was in but because he didn’t want to wait for the lane to be clear or at least have enough room for him to get over so he nearly hit me, literally pinning me against the cement wall at the exit of LGA. And on top of his terrible driving he had the professionalisms to flip me his middle finger when he realized that he was about to cause an accident (and yes I have photos).I would never recommend this company to anyone due to the type of reckless drivers the company hires..Thankfully I have tons of family members that work for different airlines that can pass my experience on.. Word of mouth & social media reviews are the best ways to hopefully keep others safe, & reckless drivers like the Bolt driver of shuttle 82 exiting LGA at 4am out of the driver’s seat for any airport shuttle company..
Overall I had a good experience. I did have a hard time finding the parking lot due to the construction in the area, but I called and they were able to kindly guide me. Once I arrived I was on a shuttle within 10-mins. They were quick and resourceful. I did have a little hiccup when I arrived back. I requested for pick-up and the shuttle took about 20-mins to arrive. I had a hard time finding the shuttle. (When you request for the shuttle, before you click the terminal it shows you the pick up locations, but I didnt realize I wouldnt be able to see the location once I clicked the terminal so I had no idea where pick up was) I eventually saw the shuttle pass by and had to call a couple times before reaching someone at the office to find out shuttle pick up details. They were a bit sassy with me. Fast forward I found the shuttle, but by now it had been about 30-mins later (in total). Again, not a huge deal and Ill totally use them again in the future. just frustrating after traveling all day. I think the pick up details should be more easily accessible so theres no confusion.
Worst parking experience ever. Waited 45 minutes before shuttle left to go to airport. A couple of us had flights about to board from Terminal B and driver would not accommodate. Insisted that he had to go terminal d then c them b - company policy.Person at desk had no concern or sense of urgency to check people in and get the bus on its way.Never again and would warm anyone to avoid this place.
THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM, STAY AWAY1) The contact number they provide for your arrival at the airport is not the phone # of the location where you drop off your vehicle. they provide yoy with a 3rd partys contact, and this 3rd party DO NOT have a direct line to this Bolt parking. I spent hours at the airport attempting to locate this company. At the airport , I was told that this companys van seldom comes around.2) When THE van (I specify singular, because they had only 1working van) finally came around, the driver had no idea I was to be picked up (although my arrival date and time were pre scheduled);3) At the drop off at the office, an elderly couple were ahead of us to get their vehicles keys back. We heard them telling the representative that they had pre-paid and were not told that it would be double the price. Everyone got real concerned for the man and woman ahead of us.4) When we got to talking to them, they told us that they had no means of contacting this company either5) We were all charged a double fee -Whoever was on line to pick up their vehicle was charged Hidden fees, although they all arrived at the scheduled date & within the pick up hours range!!
No stars deserved! This place is a disaster! Picked up my fairly new car today and it had a ding in the door. Shuttle service is terrible. Will definite never use this parking lot again. Do not be fooled buy the 2.5 mile distance. This place is far from the airport, very far.
I waited 45 minutes to be picked up. IT was during Monday evening rush hour so I wasn’t too surprised about that but once I was picked up the driver was told to wait for someone who 5 mins later was not even at the same terminal. I was on a HOT & OVERCROWDED shuttle. There were people standing and sitting on each others laps. Bolt parking was terrible. I would never use them again.
Good Experience!!It was a very easy online reservation and a very fair price. It was my first time here n parked for 5 days.The drop off shuttle was ready by the time reached there and for pickup I had to wait like 15 minutes which is completely fine.I recommend this place.

2022-03-16My car was damaged in their parking lot. A sign fell from the building of prime storage next-door and scratched up my car and totaled the car next to mine. I was told by Bolt that they were speaking to the general manager next-door and they were going to cover everything. Today I got a call from prime storage telling me that they aren’t going to cover anything. I told Bolt that they are also responsible for fixing my car, they are also telling me no. I find it completely unacceptable that Bolt is not taking responsibility because my car was in there a lot. I am filing a complaint with a consumer protection department of NY. This is a picture of my car and the other car.Don’t park here if you’re not 100% confident that your car will not be damaged whatsoever because you will end up paying for it or spending a lot of time fighting to have them pay.

2022-06-25The folks that operate this service are very kind, helpful and professional staff. When customers are prepared, the process is very streamlined. Have your reservation information ready and your cellphone accessible. It is good to know the duration of the parking space that you will need. With flights being delayed or cancelled, give yourself an extra hour or two for the car spot when picking up your vehicle in the event you need to have them keep your vehicle and have their contact information handy so that you can contact them should you need to adjust your reservation. The shuttle driver is very helpful and will load your luggage for you and drive you to the airport terminal. When you return to LGA make sure that your phone is charged so that you can have your QR code for the pickup shuttle and to process the vehicle retrieval. If you are prepared, the process is a breeze.

2022-04-10I made a last minute reservation at Bolt on my phone. The ad said it was 1 mile to the airport, but its not an easy mile, lots of turns, industrial zones, and commercial businesses. The staff was very helpful and courteous, the parking seemed very secure, my car was taken very good care of, pricing was fair, but more than originally quoted. The pickup took 25 minutes once I called them, then 25 minutes to the lot, then 10 minutes to get my bill paid and get my car. So all told, good service, but dont use if you are in a hurry, some of the other parking services closer to the airport are better served to make dropping off and picking up your car a quick experience.

2022-07-01It was great. The service was quick and efficient. I love the fast and convenient service shuttle. I liked how all we had to do was click the link they send at check in to get the shuttle for return to bolt. My only con is the hidden cost of $3/day charge for SUVs which i dont recall seeing on the website. Also in the end it wasnt that much cheaper than staying at at one of the further out LGA lots, but still a money saver for vacation costs.

2022-01-05I was pleased with the service drop off and pick up. Not happy with the cost, when the arrangements was made I was informed the Initial payment of $26 would be put towards my final bill. Only to find out that is not true there’s a third-party who collects the money to reserve the spot.The payment was not included in the final cost. I was misled.The second problem, the next day I had noticedMy Money pouch I had head in my car was missing. I contacted the location supervisor to express my complaint. I was asked for My name and number and the ticket number; a supervisor will return my call.No one contacted me yet. In my opinion, the person that searched my car knows that nothing will be done that’s why this happened. I wasn’t the first and won’t be the last. This person is comfortable, my car was searched the pouch was Not visible.I’m not asking for my funds which was approximately $25 in change and bills. At least an apology and acknowledgment indicating something will be done. I wish the next person luck.

2022-04-21I found this place pretty sketchy. First of all, you dont park your own car and they keep your keys, which is unlike any other long-term parking lot Ive ever encountered. When I entered the trailer that serves as their office, an employee was telling another employee that they had misplaced a customers car key - as far as I can tell the organization system for keys before they are formally filed away is strictly mental notes.I took pictures of the exterior of my car and regret not taking a photo of my odometer. A lot of my cars settings were adjusted when I returned to it. When I was boarding the shuttle to the airport, I observed another customer who had a giant scrape on their cars fender and was talking to an employee about it. I imagine that Bolt will refuse to pay for the damage based on other reviews.The shuttle people were nice and respectful/the employees were generally pleasant, if not professional.Buyer beware. Book early and park in long-term parking if at all possible. Or just take the train. Takes longer but less chance your car gets driven without your permission and/or damaged.

2022-04-29Easy, fast shuttle service to and from airport. Used Bolt twice and every time I had no issues with good costumer care. The location for LGA is difficult to find from exit 5 GPS directions. Their isnt signs from one side of entrance. So you feel like youre in a dead end. There is a Uhaul parking lot as well. There on the left of that but you shouldnt have to figure it out out and waste time. Thats my only issue with the place otherwise, I will return as customer in future.

2022-02-19I parked my car at Bolt LGA over the Thanksgiving holiday. The reservation was was booked through a third party and a deposit was taken by that party when I booked. I was advised to print the confirmation and present it at the Bolt parking facility when I pick up my car to receive the quoted rate. Here is where things went bad with Bolt. When I presented the confirmation I was told by the the attendant that the deposit was applied as a hold on my account but was never charged. I paid the full amount to retrieve my car and later found out that this was not true. My credit card was charged for the deposit by the third party. It was not a hold. I called Bolt to let them know, but the person I spoke with had no knowledge of a hold policy and said the attendant was mistaken. He further said that I would not be getting a refund of that amount because it was a charge by the third party. I explained that I presented the confirmation with the quoted rate and did not receive that rate, but Bolts response was,next time book direct. If Bolt was honest about this policy from the beginning that would have been fine but nowhere on their website do they state that if you book through one of the third parties they contract with, you will pay an extra fee. It appears they are using these companies to boost reservations through advertising, and their customers are paying for it. This is just plain bad business and it is a shame because my shuttle drivers were both very capable and courteous, which earned them an additional star. The deposit I paid was not excessive, but I cannot recommend doing business with a company that outright misleads their clients and does not care at all about it when confronted. Many others have complained about this situation but the company obviously does not care and continues to operate in this manner. One and done for me. Beware and book elsewhere if possible.

2022-04-15Horrible Horrible Horrible!!!!! DO NOT USEFirst off and foremost if you want to be transported in a timely manner DO NOT USE BOLT. I have used other services and this has been the worst experience ever. They are not efficient at all and very archaic. The lot staff are wonderful if I could give them five stars I would give them six. The office staff, not so much. I don’t think customer service is a concern to the staff in the office. They were nonchalant and didn’t care about the customer or the customer service experience. It took us 45 minutes from arrival at lot until we arrived at our terminal. Instead of asking departure times, what terminals were being used was asked instead. The driver seemed bewildered and went to a terminal no one requested. It was like he wasn’t familiar with the location. Worst experience ever, do not use. I advised all my family and friends of the same. BOLT SUCKS. Close to the airport, I think not. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS ESTABLISHMENT, GO ELSEWHERE.
