My roommate and I have gone through Bond New York, specifically with Justin Duffy, for the past two apartment moves and will continue to do so every time our leases end! We have had wonderful experiences and both of our apartments have been everything we asked for and more. The process is much faster and more organized than I anticipated when moving to NYC and I could not recommend Bond and Justin more highly.
I could not have asked for a more honest, professional, or knowledgeable real estate broker upon my move to New York. Neither me nor my mother were familiar at all with the NYC real estate market; luckily, we had Justin Duffy to take care of us and I found the perfect apartment, a place I would never have found on my own! Justin was reliable, friendly, and easy to work with and I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs a real estate agent in NYC.
Justin and Aubrey helped me to find the perfect apartment with all my requests. I always felt like they were on my team even after the lease was signed. They were efficient, kind, and had listings than I had seen with any other real estate agency. Id refer them to anyone!
Justin and Phillip helped me to find an apartment in the summer of 2017. I had previously reached out to Phillip quite early for my lease start date, but once the timing was better, he reached out to me pro-actively to begin my hunt for a new place. I had previously met with other realtors that I felt were trying to push me into signing for apartments I visited, but Phillip and Justin werent like this. They were thoughtful in considering what I wanted, and presented me with a number of options when I met with them in-person. Then, we went to see a bunch of apartments, and I had luck by the 3rd option! Once I found somewhere I loved, they reviewed all my paperwork with me, went to the building management office with me to submit my application, and even sat with me through my lease signing. They were really helpful in answering all of my questions and making sure everything went smoothly. Phillip even delivered my deposit checks to the management company for me when I had a work event and couldnt bring them myself. Overall, I had a great experience working with these two and love my new place.
My daughter just finished her freshman year at NYU and her dorm situation for next year was untenable. With great apprehension, we began the search for an affordable apartment in the city. She had to do almost everything, as her father and I live 6000 miles away. Justin Duffy was helpful, easy to contact, professional, and efficient. He was transparent about the process and the fees involved, and all of his advice proved correct. I felt free to ask as many questions as necessary, and Justin answered my dozens of questions with a smile in his voice. Most importantly, my daughter felt comfortable with him and, happily, found the perfect apartment on her first day looking.
Justin Duffy did a fantastic job helping my husband and I find an apartment! We needed to be by specific subways and had several features in our future apartment building that were important to us - Justin was extremely patient, found tons of apartments for us to look at, and helped us find the perfect one. He was reliable, hard-working, and easy to work with. Thank you Justin!
Lorett and Tierney were an absolute DREAM to work with! They were incredibly responsive and showed an undivided interest in our apartment search. After we initially were unsure about a unit they showed us over facetime, Lorett and Tierney made the case that viewing in person (with safety precautions) would amplify the desirability of the apartment. The care that they showed us from the get-go was so refreshing and comforting. When I arrived to view the unit, Tierney was on time and extremely kind. When we had viewed the first unit, Lorett called in to answer any questions I might have and explain the undeniable appeal of the apartment. I was immediately interested in the unit and my roommate and I submitted an application for the apartment that night. Lorett walked us through options for getting the best deal on the unit we wanted while giving us back up options. Once they had made sure we were taken care of in terms of our application and beneficial options, they got back to us within 48 hours and worked their magic!! We were able to get an incredible apartment at an even better price and I have no idea how they did it! These woman are truly the fairy godmothers of New York apartments. I know that they put in a lot of work and overtime to help us get what we wanted and my roommate and I are both extremely grateful for all that they did. I truly cant sing enough praises about this duo!
In looking for an apartment in New York City, it began as a daunting task for my daughter and I, given we were from Arizona. We noticed a listing online by Justin Duffy, Bond New York Real Estate Broker. Justin quickly responded with an outline and information of what to expect. Within 24 hours his team contacted me and the ball was rolling. Aubree Brown reached out to me and she was amazing! We had several conversations on what to expect prior to our arrival. We looked at several places and picked one, did the paperwork with the team’s careful guidance and submitted the application. Approval was received within 24 hours! The process was smooth! The only advice I have to give is to make sure there is a corresponding bank available as ours was not and securing funds (money orders) through the post office proved frustrating as their debit card machine was not reading my card. The solution to that was my husband overnighted the certified checks via FedEx. The team supported us through the entire process. I had the wonderful experience of having Barbara Fears as my agent, after having a VERY stressful time looking for an apartment in NYC. Barbara was a breath of fresh air to say the least. In a market where agents are either fresh out of college, unprofessional, shifty, or just plain dont care, Barbara put them all to shame by being super attentive and understanding of our needs. Tatiana Castro-Acosta was such a patient and helpful real estate agent with my boyfriend and I. She was able to truthfully answer any questions we had, took us to multiple apartments in the same area (less walking) and was wven flexible with time, meeting us in the evening after work (6/7pm). She was well-versed on the areas and even told us about the history of some places. I will be recommending Tatiana to everyone who tells me they need help finding places in NYC.
Bob Brooks has been fantastic to work with. He showed us three beautiful apartments, all in our preferred neighborhood and all in our price range, and was extremely accommodating - he even had his colleague, David, take us to see two of the places twice! Ive seen a lot of terrible units during my apartment search, and every single place that Bob showed us was better than anything we saw elsewhere.In the end we rented a huge one-bedroom in Hells Kitchen. Bob got us a great deal and has continued to be helpful even as we prepare to move, since he is so knowledgeable about the area. Were lucky to have found him!
Pleasant experience at Bond real estate where I was serviced by a very capable young lady called Ariana who showed me a selection of properties of the specification I required. There was no hard selling or fake sales techniques used, she was very forthcoming and her follow-up with me was very very proactive. Justin Duffy is beyond amazing!! I cannot say enough good things or thank him enough for everything he did for my son. After making three trips to NYC from Boston trying to secure an apartment in Manhattan for my son, and having no success with another realtor; on our fourth trip my son reached out to Justin Duffy and Linaris Rivera. From the moment he made contact and we visited them at their office, we knew we were in great hands. Justin listened intently to my sons needs and scoured his listings for apartments that would fit his budget and geographic requirements. Justin had several listings and Linaris took us all over the East and West Villages showing us apartments. Linaris was so much fun to work with, she knows the city and its neighborhoods inside and out, and was able to answer all our questions. For the first time, we actually had a great time looking at apartments! Linaris stayed late into the evening to show the apartment my son is now renting, and Justin stayed extra late to help us through the application process. Justin was so attentive to our needs, our time constraints, and the fact that we were having to do this from Boston. Justin was in touch with us every day, keeping us informed of the status of our application and getting the lease overnighted to us for signatures. But it doesnt end there! Justin was in touch with the management company for us to clear up a couple of questions we had, and he even arranged to pick up the keys for us and delivered them to us at the apartment on SUNDAY of Labor Day weekend! Unfortunately for Justin we were a couple of hours late getting into the city that day and it held him up from enjoying his long weekend - for which I apologize profusely. Justin has continued to follow up with me and my son to make sure that everything has been going as planned. I truly believe that if it had not been for Justin Duffy, my son would still be living in Boston! Thank you so much Justin!
As a mother assisting her son out of college (because of his busy work schedule) to secure a place in the city.. I was delighted to have Bobby Florian from Bond recommended to me! I can’t say enough great things about Kevin Damman and Jonathan Gomez. I am a highly suspicious (of real estate in nyc), money conscious consumer - and before working with BOND I was speaking with several brokers that were not impressing me - I didn’t see the value in working with real estate agents and wanted to do it myself. That is until I found Kevin and Jonathan who worked so hard for me - you can tell when someone is being honest and genuine and wants to work hard for you. Immediately I knew this was the team to work with. I ended up with a studio apartment, under my budget(!!) in the neighborhood of my dreams in 24 hours. I would recommend them to everyone.
Alice was very helpful in finding us an amazing Loft in Soho and took care of every step of the home search process, from looking at apartments all the way through to signing the lease. She was unlike all other brokers I have used in the past, who were too pushy and only focused on making a quick sale. They are an Absolute disaster!! I responded to one of their apartments listed on STREET EASY to 2 listed agents one day...and after no response, to a 3rd agent 2 days later. I contacted them 3 different ways----by live phone contact, voice mail and text messages. NONE of the agents responded...except one who stated she would call or text back that evening with a viewing time for the apt. She did not call back that evening or the next day. Nothing. Avoid this company like the plague!

They are the shadiest rental brokers. They will charge you a 15% fee for apartments that are listed as no-fee apartments by the landlords. When confronted, that I have seen the apartment listed as no-fee on Craigslist that was being shown to me by Sam Kankalil on his computer, I was told about this elaborate story about how the landlord has given his cousin the right to rent all apartments and that he works as the broker and blah bla blah. My wife and I walked out of their office..Stay away from these people. Do not pay a fee for No-Fee apartments.

I was really troubled looking for a place to stay in the SoHo area just for 6 months. Justin and Phillip were really welcoming and fast finding me a place. On the same day I was signing the papers. Truly, I didnt expect such results. Tremendously glad I went to them.

We went to their office to see a specific unit posted the same morning as our appointment. They had us fill out a form and then told us the unit we were interested in was already rented, but they could show us others. This is a very common bait and switch tactic used in NYC realty that has wasted a ton of our time.
Kacy is an amazing person to work with. She really puts her heart into helping someone find the perfect place and makes a point of giving any client as much information as possible. I could not recommend her more.
Showed up for an appointment, was told to fill out a very long form, then waited for 25 minutes. Finally left after my appointment apparently ghosted me. Front desk staff stared at me and said absolutely nothing as I said I had to leave. Very poor experience. Consider the time of the people you’re serving, especially during the work day.
This firm will have you register with them first, then you get bombarded with emails from their vendors trying to sell you their products. The office looks like a boiler room, rows of agents, not trustworthy people--stay away!Their customer service person got back to me after 2 months!

Very happy with the experience with Bond. We have the services of Yera and Gabriel and we could not be more satisfied. Both are very friendly and help you find what best suits your possibilities. We spent 3 days walking through Manhattan with Gabriel and we were surprised by good humor, patience, education, and all the things he told us about the different neighborhoods. Without a doubt, I advise you to hire them to find a flat in NYC!

2021-09-18I had an amazing experience working with Neil Zaken and August (Andy). They found me a wonderful apartment and were so patient with me. I can’t recommend the other brokers with the company as I have no experience with them, but I highly recommend using Zaken for your apartment search!

2021-09-08HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!! DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY OR ANYONE WHO WORKS FOR THIS COMPANY!!!!! If I could leave no stars I would. I am a first time mover and I hate to say that my first experience contacting this company was disturbing, unethical, and unprofessional. I worked with a guy named Julius Mouser who seemed to only be worried about getting an application fee of $175 which by the way is illegal to ask for that amount for an application fee. Application fees are supposed to be $25- $50 ( keep in mind it should only be $50 when they also need to run a credit check.) I thought that price was odd but optimistically continued to communicate with Julius. Mind you, I did not get a confirmation on when I will be able to even view the apartment but yet Julius kept insisting that I pay the $175 in order to even see the apt which I again have never heard of. I lived in New York my entire life and am well aware of scam artists all around. I simply asked Julius if it would be possible for me to get a confirmation of when I can view the apt and also asked if I can see the apt first, and then directly after viewing the apt I can pay the $175 amount right then and there. Julius stated that I cannot view before paying so I kindly thanked him for his time and chose to not go forward with the process. To my surprise, Julius responded to me in such a condescending way that I was shocked. He stated and I quote Even if I am a scam, I cant scam you for only $175 I am not that cheap I literally could not believe what I read and was instantly disgusted at how unprofessional his response was. If youre looking to move I suggest you find a different real estate company and realtor!

2018-02-02When working with Bond, I was taken care of by Justin Duffy and Aubree Brown. They were both very accommodating with my schedule and apartment needs. I would recommend them to anybody that wants to make the apartment hunting process stress free. Despite my eagerness to find an apartment, they both kept a professional demeanor throughout my time working with them. They have an obvious understanding that not every client is alike, and will make the necessary moves to meet whatever needs are required. Thanks a bunch to Justin and Aubree, as well as Bond!

2018-01-25After quite a few sub-par brokers, I was waiting for the other shoe to drop when I met Aubree and Justin - they were too good to be true (spoiler alert: my partner and I have happily moved into our new apartment and no other shoes have dropped). Aubree showed us apartments within our budget AND were what we were looking for (sometimes a tough combo!). In addition, they were very fast and responsive whenever we had questions. We met with Justin both to apply and sign the lease - he was patient, organized, and very helpful (and funny!). When I have friends who are moving, I will recommend them.

2021-04-16Lorett Vigon and her team were absolutely amazing for us! After a frantic apartment search, I was basically at the end of my rope when I found a listing from Lorett. On a whim, I decided to call her. From the moment she picked up the phone, she was a breath of fresh air. Shes straightforward, direct, and she went above and beyond to get my girlfriend and I into the apartment of our dreams. Shes incredibly responsive over email, text and phone. Throughout the process, Lorett answered all of our questions and helped us put a great application together. Her trustworthiness stands out the most. She followed through on every request we had and she made it happen. Lorett will be the first person I call when it comes time to find a new place. And we have to give a big shout out to Tierney, who went above and beyond to help us view the apartment and got the ball rolling for us.

2018-02-11Justin Duffy from Bond New York is a superstar!My wife & I moved to NYC late February and needed to find a place asap. Our requirements were not the easiest (short tenancy, location etc..) and we had spoken to a few agents before and were very nervous about the whole process. Then I came across Justin Duffy on one of the real estate websites and sent him and email.From get-go Justin was amazing! He was warm and friendly, very accommodating and extremely helpful. He had excellent knowledge of the city and very quickly pointed us to a few places we might like. In fact, the place we moved into (less than a week later!) was no.1 on the list Justin made for us.Justin went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure we were able to get the place. He did an amazing job speaking to the landlord and guarantors on our behalf and put an admirable effort until he was finally able to secure the apartment for us.
