Wide diverse selection of goods for everyone. Great value and friendly staff.
This store is huge and has a vast array of collections. Its similar to Macys and JCPenny but at a reasonable price.

Does this place have staff on the floor to help customers? Could not get any help in numerous departments. Couldnt even get a cart. Had to get a cart from another neighbouring store. Fun items and good prices.
The store needs much more help. I wont be going back for quite some time and when I go back, if it hasnt changed, then that will be the last time coming here! I also feel the store pulls the old bait & switch! When they had the manual carpet sweepers advertised for $9.99 there werent any and a few other sales items were sold out. I dont trust a store that does this. I was there the very first thing in the morning on the day of the sale. There were none and I gave up trying to find someone to help.
Boscovs is AWESOME. They have clothing, furniture, household appliances and accessories (pots and pans, lighting supplies etc,) bathroom supplies, shoes, jewelry, etc and they also have a military discount available for those who are currently serving or have previously served (which my mother uses every time we shop there.) They also have a discount room which has a lot of useful items. The store is MASSIVE and confusing to navigate, so make sure you have a lot of energy before you go there, but its a great place to go for many different things.
A nice experience in the mens dept. They have quite the selection to choose from men suits, dress slacks, shirts and ties etc.

They have the best prices for kids clothes. Especially since my children like to play outside all the time and ruin their clothes. I love that they have whole outfits. I just love going there and looking at everything. So much to choose from for the whole family and house.

Store is fine, I was able to find everything I needed. I would leave a better review, however my experience was ruined because the young cashier at the fitting rooms didnt acknowledge me at all. She talked to her coworker the whole time and after the transaction she just threw my receipts in the bag and pushed it to me without a word. But other then that store Is okay.

The cost of items is getting higher and higher. I went to see if I could find a dress shirt for my husband because we have a funeral this week. They wanted $40 for a button down shirt. I found one cheaper at Target
Went with my daughter, before Mothers day. Nice selection of clothes and summer shoes. Has been quite a while since I was at Boscovs. Was a pleasant reminder of what good items one can find there.
I love to shop at Boscovs. There is only one thing I dont like....the aisles down the middle of the store are wide, but the clothes are TOO close together. Very difficult to get around in between the clothes. My mother in law is 93 and uses a cane, and often finds that she cant get through the close. Something to think about.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They have great prices and have a large selection. They offer a military discount you just have to go to customer service or sign up online. One of the best places to shop in the area.
Big sign MASKS MUST BE WORN INSIDE. OK no problem. Back to the car and got my mask. Go inside and more than half the people had no masks. I really dont care but if youre going to have a rule, enforce it.
Good deals on Chinese clothes. Very little good stuff.
Went buy short sleeve shirts and shorts. Only certain dressing rooms were open and not the one near me. Traveling back and forth between where youre shopping and where the open dressing rooms were was tiring (Im disabled). The selection was nice but some of the prices werent (I think $40 for a pair of shorts was a little pricey). Overall, a good experience.
Frankly, its a mess - but thats the pointYou get lost wandering the aisles and displays, which they hope encourages you to purchase random things you never needed.In my case, it had the opposite effect - as I wondered how I ended up in surrounded by gourmet candy when I had just been looking at candles, I realised I didnt really want to keep carrying all the things if picked up while searching for a register.Eventually I found my way back to the displays Id been perusing, reshekved the few things in my hands, and made for the door.*Their clearance furniture pricing could be better.*
Spent a couple of hours trying on clothes this morning. A nice store very helpful sales clerk in the ladies department. Chose 2 outfits and several other small items. The sad part is its impossible to get someone to let you pay. There are many cash registers and no people running them. I visited several open checkouts but the lines were very long. Even the sales people were exasperated. Hung my treasures back up and left. Customer service is lacking.
10/10 experience shopping here. I bought a recliner chair from Matt in furniture and he was super helpful. Prices here are good too.
They were very busy. I found the shoes I wanted but it took along time to retrieve my size.there were moderately long lines at every check out.they did not have enough staff since Christmas shopping has started early this year.
Boscovs has some great Black Friday sales and I was able to get a bunch of really nice stuff for the winter in my budget, thank you!
They had a decent selection and great price for some summer clothes for my son, nothing I could find for myself but Im picky I guess. Some of the staff werent paying attention to customers but they were young and probably new.
I love the store.But they need to widen some of the aisles in the store for electric wheel chairs.I had to leave the store early because of that .I got to upset .
I think this is going to be my new place to shop. Especially for clothes. Their prices are very competitive and good quality. I just hope Boscov stays here. Two other stores I shopped at have closed. Their staff are friendly and helpful. The store is clean and organized. Handicapped friendly too. I know Im going back there.
Other than the store being so large and hard to find your way around this place is amazing! Great prices and so much cool stuff. From food to furniture and clothing for the whole family they literally have everything you could want or need. The staff is just as great, all wearing masks and gloves and sanitizer stands throughout the store, on top of employees making sure that the hand baskets and carts are already sanitized for you as you walk in, definitely will be going back again 😀 👍

The guy who checked us out told me the price of everything they was ringing up in order. So that if I didnt want it I could take it off then. I think that was very courteous of him.

Absolutely love the store. Customer help is great, theres always someone to ask if you need help. And we love the quality of everything in the store from the furniture to the clothing. We purchased a reclining loveseat with console. Totally comfortable and great quality. Highly recommend them.
I like this boscovs. Its always clean. Staff behind the registers always friendly. I was there at an odd time during the week and it was busy. Only a few registers open but they moved right along. Not like I recall JCPenneys where staff were slow. Hopefully the mall finds good retailers to fill there empty stores. Personally I miss the old science/discovery store that was there in the 90s. Anywhooo keep up the good work boscovs.

I purchased a ring on their website and it was the wrong size. I called the 800 number from the website and they advised me to return the ring to the store with the packing slip and the receipt that was emailed. I spent almost three quarters of an hour at the jewelry counter trying to return this ring. It wasnt even the size that I had ordered. They wanted me to send it back through the mail but finally they did return a credit to my Visa. My experience with the online shopping was terrible. Difficulty navigating on website, difficulty checking order status, difficulty tracking package, poor description of items online. I would not recommend shopping online at boscovs.

Went to store to buy new bedding for our house and wanted My Pilow products because they are used product. Was total that they no longer carry the product because management doesnt want to carry products of company that the owner supports the Trump conservative views. Dumb I was really to buy new bedding for my wifes birthday. Guess I will look for another store or go on line to buy the bedding. Also looked around and a very large amount of product from China and I will not buy Chinese product. By the way we have 10 bedroom house. They dont need my business.. No could find a cashier when I was there. A manager helped a customer. Lot of product to sell with no customer service..
I went into Boscvos today looking for a birthday gift for my boyfriend I decided to get him a suit with a couple different ties ,dress shirts, and shoes. I am honestly so impressed with the team members there. Every single department I went to I had help from the team members first I went to look at the dress shirts and The first gentleman said that he does weddings and helps people find outfits and if I need any help to let them know. I came back 20 minutes later and another guy was working and he offered to help me as well. I wish I would have got the names of the people working but I do not remember. He helped me find good colors that would work with the suit I picked out. He then walked me all the way over to the shoe department and I was assisted by two people over there. A young girl in a young guy helped me pick out the nicest dress shoes to go with the suit. It was honestly fun I had so many different people helping as well as different ideas and opinions. I walked out of the store with a really great looking outfit! Thanks to EVERY single person! It has been a while since I was able to go out and go shopping and it felt like I was in alone because I had the team members from the store help me. It felt like a family shopping trip! Haha. If this could be shared with everyone in this store , and let them know I appreciated help with the blue suit , dress shoes, and dress shirts! That would be great! Great standards & team members you have!! Everyone should be recognized. I was there around 12pm - 1:30pm ish too if that helps determine the names of the employees! I hope everyone is there next time I go because it was awesome!!

Its a great store and has a little of everything, one downside is that it is very packed with merchandise and the other is that the associates do not seem to like working there. I rarely have much interaction with them, they just seem to want to be elsewhere. The one associate that was different was at a register for handicapped customers, she had a smile on her face and was very helpful.

Today I realized why I avoid shopping at this store. Its aggravating to have to hike around the store hoping to find a cashier station. The first two I found today were temporarily closed. I left my basket of items and went to another store. I had finally found an open cashier but with five customers ahead of me. I didnt need the items that badly.
Wish I had a store like this in Vermont close enough to me that I could shop in it. Had everything you could think of an extra things you never thought of. I enjoy shopping there.

Boscos offers some amazing deals and has a variety of items for everyone from kids to adults. Their clothing sizes range from small to the extra large and tall. They have multiple clearance items that are discounted deeply and worth checking out. The items are not cheap as one would think but there is good quality items and clothing that have been discounted to low pricing.

Went for shoes. The gentleman helping was rude and abrupt. The selection was dismal and after selecting 2 sneakers and asking for my size I was told they did not have any. He constantly was pushing another brand even after we said no 2 times before. He continued to be rude even at one point telling me the would look fine with my scrubs after I had said O didnt want them. Bad selection and bad pushy service

Good luck finding curb side pickup. Hint big lite sign saying Customer pick up. Half my order was canceled out of stock. Went inside associates are friendly but was not impressed with inventory for what I was looking for.

Didnt find what I was looking for in intimate apparel but sales associate was very helpful. I did buy a pair of dress boots and the sales associate was also helpful and friendly in shoes. The rest of the store is hard to find things. No one in any other department was helpful. I purchased a few clothing items and the clerk never looked at me and barely spoke.
Very knowledgable and friendly staff. Always great prices, especially coupled with their coupons, ads, and price drops. Would highly recommend this store to anyone looking for anything from clothing, bedding, furniture, shoes all the way to their candy cookies and fudge!
I really dont care for Boscovs. Everything is too close together. The aisles are too small. I did find a nice dress on sale priced at $60 marked down to $20.

Some great deals but very over priced. $18 a lb for some candy. $19 and $20 a lb for others. Cloths, the cheapest were $30 for a SHIRT! Ill just shop at walmart where I can stay on a budget and get great looking cloths for under $20 FOR A FULL OUTFIT.
Best selection of curtains around especially when it comes to different lengths. I certainly dont like curtains close to the floor, which all the other places only have. Service was superb along with excellent prices. Cant go wrong with only 4.99 for a panel. Going to purchase furniture next but hear that the downside is that it is not assembled.

This store is so big its ridiculous. Everytime Im in there I get overwhelmed with all the clothes and deals. I got a pack of 10 pairs of socks for $3.99 such a great deal. I got a shirt and shorts set $12, and I get compliments on it all the time. They have a candy shop to die for! There home section is great I will definitely be buying my apt. Stuff from there. The womans section is huge Im so called Im not a girl or Id be shopping all day in the store. If your looking to save a buck you can do it at Boscovs.
Lots of selection; it was almost overwhelming in the clothes. Didnt seem to be my style. Bargain room in the back was fun, but I dont find anything to buy there. Loved the home decor, though!!!!!

I absolutely LOVE Boscovs!! They have such great deals on EVERYTHING! I got 2 dresses here for only $9.99 each that both were originally $125.00 each!! They have a candy making station in the center of the store where they make their own candies and you can sample all their fudge for free! Theres a bargain center area in there that has even better deals than that that are out on the sales floor which is unimaginable! I buy all my childrens back to school clothes here, all name brand things, PUMA, ADIDAS, NIKE, UNDER ARMOR, Levis you name it they have it! And I still have money to spare! Its just incredible the deals they have! The only issue I have is they need to bring Boscovs to Michigan because I have to travel back home to New York or go online whenever I want to shop their AWESOME deals! But its so worth it to me!

This store is hugh! I believe at one time it was Sears. Theyve opened it up and its more spacious and bright. Whatever youre looking for Im sure you will find. Few years back I shopped for mothers day to buy dresses and the selection was awesome and prices unbelievable! Unfortunately we moved to Buffalo and there isnt one in the area..
Boscovs is a very dangerous place to walk in and you dont want to spend a lot of money LOL so many great deals customer service is great. I spent very little compared to how much I bought. I could live in that store
This place has a huge selection of just about everything! The prices are average, and the registers are still setup like a 90s department store, but you cant beat the amount of products and sizes they have. One of the last good department stores left.
I enjoy this store. Its 50% home goods, 50% clothes with some odds and ends such as the candy counter thrown in. There is something there for everyone that they didnt know they needed. I only gave 4 stars because it is a bit cluttered in some areas making it difficult to navigate and while most prices are good some things are much cheaper elsewhere, such as the Hasbro game Battleship, $20 at Boscov / $11 at Walmart. Overall a fun store to visit.

There was a girl in womans section, Alize, that was one of the nicest, kindest and attentive sales person I have ever encountered. She went over and beyond what you would expect. The store was very neat, clean and well stocked. Very happy with the Boscovs here in New Hartford.

Had a great experience in New Hartford NY. Since fitting rooms were open I could try on and spent almost 3 times what I would have. Wish you were closer but Ill drive the 45 minutes to shop there.
Its okay but Im not sure what the hype is all about with this store. The prices are reasonable but not great.
Walked in expecting to spend roughly 75.00! Ended up getting a very knowledgeable, young salesgirl, whom really knew what she was talking about! Told me the brand i was looking for would cost me 100.00! I was willing, if they were comfortable and worked out! They ended up too tight on me, so she suggested another brand that came in wide width! Ended up selling me a pair that only cost me 29.99! So, i also ended up purchasing a sherpa-lined hoodie also for 9.99! Spent alot less than expecte ! Overall very pleased with this shopping excursion!!!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Too many items to mention. Something for everything. Passed on the fudge section, but it did look tempting. Clothing, housewares, outdoor items, As on TV, etc. Prepare to spend time there if you want to really shop. Easy parking.

Ive never shopped at a place where it was SO hard to find a salesperson! I went to three service desks to check out with no one in sight! I was also at the jewelry counter for a good 15 minutes and no one tending the counter during that entire time! Unbelievable!
This is a great store with very good deals. I try to go there every Friday. However, there are at least a couple of associates that are less than customer friendly. It would be a shame to rate this store on the those people who dont have the right attitude for the job.
Good luck finding anyone to help you or check out when you are done. One checkout person on a Saturday afternoon and 5 people with armfuls of merchandise. And no I do not want to open a charge account.
They have everything! I mean everything. This place is huge! I dont think Ive ever gotten through the whole store. The one thing I dont like is that they have very little American made merchandise, if any... Most is from other countries & not always the best quality. 😡
Genuinely awesome store. Huge! Need a road map, breadcrumbs, or pin landmarks to navigate - it’s easy to get disoriented. Deals are great. Quality is great. FREE GIFT WRAPPING!

I love the store but the employees are terrible. When I finally found someone to help me find what I was looking for they seemed annoyed that I asked for help. A different time I was there, I was walking out and I had a group of people who looked like they broke out of the nearest trailer park chasing me and accused me of stealing. I spent over $200. They took me in the back and went through everything of mine & then realized they had the wrong girl.
Its near impossible to get anyone to help you. Theres an immense shortage of personal staff. But Hey its a pandemic so..I will say that they have a wide variety of curtains.

This store is enormous, I mean really vast. Found it a little annoying they didnt stock short sleeve polos just because it was winter (everyone still wears them for work). I did just find an awesome suit there at a bargain price.
I love this store. It is a one stop shop for all different kinds of items. They even have a candy counter with homemade fudge! You name it, they have it. Eyewear, furniture, candy, appliances, as seen on tv items, and the list goes on and on. You have to check it out!
I recently visited your store on January 13th . I was looking for a suit for a wedding that is comming up. I was greeted by a store employee named Fredrick in the mens department. He was very helpful, very detail oriented and he knew his job very well. He spent a very long time picking out clothing for me making sure everything fit to a T. This store is HUGE! This was my first visit and I was overwhelmed with the size of this store. There was a wonderful selection and well organized. I found some great sales, too!
Way too cramped I felt like I was in a hoarders garage. Then forced to check out at each department while feeling trapped and extremely uncomfortable with the surroundings because everything was too close. One sales associate just trash talked every other store wasting my time while I was making it clear I was uncomfortable and wanted to get out of the close quarters.
With all the big department stores closed in the area, this is a very nice store with a large variety of merchandise.
Nice big department store, have everything even a clearance section will you can find great bargains.Got my snow boots there. If you walk around youll even find a bakery with fudge!!
Boscov, I love your store!!! You have so much to offer people who shop there. I would rather shop at your store any day over a stinking Walmart! We really stop by to return some shorts that were too small for my husband, which by the way has never been in your store. As soon as we walked in the store, we were a bit confused on where to return something but we were approached by a nice gentleman who took us over to a random cash register and waited on us his self. So then my husband said, lets walk around, so we did. We ended up spending the money we just got back from his return plus another $200. I brought 2 dresses to wear to 2 weddings coming up in October. Your dressing rooms are so clean and you have plenty of room to move around in. I love both dresses, Id never be able to find what I found here for the price any where else. My husband was very impressed with your merchandise & your prices, as everyone else is that I mention your store too!!! Thanks for being #1 in my book Boscov!!!
Boscovs while interesting, is a bit of a run down Target.They offer a decent selection of home goods and the prices are ok. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall though, it seemed like an upscale recycle shop. The shelving units and advertising were dated. The floor needed to be cleaned and waxed.This would be a great place if it were remodaled and renovated.

Low-quality merchandise and high prices in-store. I also had a terrible experience with an online order. After a week with no order updates, I contacted customer service and they told me it would be another 2 weeks before shipment. That same day, I got home and found my order waiting for me on the porch (a small piece of furniture). The day after that, I get an email that my item was about to ship, with a link to an expired tracking number. The furniture was already assembled and in my house at this point!
BEWARE of them they raise the regular price on items as much as $10.00 sometimes more when they advertise on sale so you don’t save anything and end up paying more than what it was the week before. I just submitted stuff to NYS pictures &documents of this what they are doing is illegal . Remember the other big box stores had to pay fines for doing this hopefully they will to . Skip them it’s no deal

Located in the mall in New Hartford, NY, this is a really nice Boscovs. Everything is on one floor. Great selection of clothing for all ages and sizes, furniture, cosmetics department, accessories, and more. They have great sales too.
A great place to find some amazing deals!! However, the store is massive and is so easy to get literally lost in. Most of the staff is very helpful, but there are a few not so helpful .
The folks that helped me in jewelry dept. were very helpful.However, this store makes me dizzy...very confusing to find everything and to get back to the place you started.
Boscovs is an impressive store to visit and to shop in. Many department that are well stocked and neatly arranged. I like the fact that cashier stations are scattered at convenient locations thru the store. Boscovs has a real big-city feel.
This an edit to my original post. Someone from Boscovs saw my review and contacted me. They were very interested in hearing about what happened. They explained the owners are very sensitive to racism being they are Jewish. She assured me they would adress this across the store in their morning huddle I felt I was truly hears and they were going to address it. Also they told me it is the store policy to ask for ID if your card isnt signed.No one available on floor for assistance. I felt like I was racially profiles when I was asked for my I.D. when I used my debit card . I bought an expensive bottle of perfume, apparently the cashier felt that I couldnt possibly afford it and was probs using a stolen card.
Very nice department store, They have a wide variety of everything. I will always shop there before any where else. The prices are very reasonable. Nice store.

Best prices, great deals the store is huge and has things for all shapes and sizes. They have a candy stand which is good. I will be going back!
I was in the electronic department and they had two signs for the same wireless bluetooth headphones one for $9.99 the other for $12.99 the cashier was rude and even when i showed him the sign he argued with me saying they are $12.99 and so i said then please get me a manager so he angrily said he would give them to me for $9.99 then i had some candy that was labeled $8.99 but they were ringing up $9.99 .when i pointed it out he said this isnt our sticker and i said then whos sticker is it and he said the company we get it from . so i said then the stickers should be removed. He was very angry and acted like i was stealing his money.
I bought 4 things that were on sale and got charged the full price. When i asked them to fix it all i got was a hassle from larry the Guy that works in the mens big and tall dept. So I asked for a refund and then he really treated me like ship.
In general I like boscovs in the selection of the merchant dice but this is the 3rd time I have been in this particular bras cause and it is always such a scavenger hunt to find a staff person to help you!

They have everything in that store for cheap..even furniture..go to the clearance department with the big red clearance sign and you will find all kinds of stuff..I was like a kid in a candy store..its like a cheaper version of Walmart without the food department with name brand stuff ..Nike..Jordan..the non brand joggers for my sons was way better quality than the joggers at Walmart..and they are only $8.00 ..I absolutely Love this store..by the way they have a chocolate bar inside for all of us chocolate lovers..yyeeesssss!

No registers open asked several associates where I could cash out one was very rude at jewelry counter and the lady working in mens department said oh go to some guy way over on other side needless to say I left without the item. Think il pay credit card off and wont shop there anymore they have bad customer service...not happy not the first time...mayve I wasnt dressed appropriately to earn respect bull I work to.

Great prices. However the lady that was wrapping gifts wasnt very pleasant or timely. We did all our shopping and the gifts still werent wrapped.
Boscovs has just about everything. Was pleasently suprised to see they even have elegant perfumes. There are enough sales that you dont empty your wallet on those spur of the moment mini shopping sprees with a friend. Sales reps are professional and go above and beyond to make sure you have a pleasent shopping experience. Shop at Boscovs with a friend, you will have fun comparing savings.

Love Boscovs! Ive forsaken Kohls & Boscovs is my new home! They have everything! I took my husband shopping for the first time & he said he was not impressed. Until he realized how much he overlooked! We spent over another hour there & he bought so many clothes because the bargains are incredible!! He never buys clothes for himself & Ive been after him to update his wardrobe & even he agreed its bad! He spend $370! And he now appreciates Boscovs as much as I do! Its the bargains!!!

This is probably the most overwhelming department store you will ever step foot in. It is absolutely huge, has very few if any signs to help you figure out where the section you need us, and almost none of the customer service desks were staffed
They only seem to carry brands I havent heard of. Im concerned about the quality of the product that they sell. I never end up buying anything here.

2021-05-09Huge selections of clothing for men, women and children. I love the curtain they are selling so beautiful. They also sell footwear, kitchen ware, baths and furniture. Prices are fair comparing to similar stores. And they have discounts and clearances. Staffs are nice and welcome too.

2022-06-14I rarely go to Boscovs. The closest one is a 45 minute drive. However, when I do, I always find what Im looking for! I dont like to shop, but Boscovs makes me want to shop more! They have very nice clothes with great sales! I went to find a tie for my husband. I found the perfect one (last one left). It really wasnt exactly what I was looking for, but it looked sharp and matched our daughters wedding colors and his grey suit perfectly!I was also looking for a pair of rose or mauve 2 heels. I looked everywhere. Upon going to Boscovs, I decided to look. There were the perfect shoes in a larger size. A note on the shoes said it was the only size available. I almost left. I asked the salesperson and she found 1 more pair. IT WAS IN MY SIZE! So glad I asked!! Staff were also very friendly and helpful!My husband picked up a last minute bridal shower gift a few months ago. He found the perfect champagne glasses for the bride and groom! He also found Boscovs chocolates. I didnt try them, but the bride and groom said they were fantastic!! Who knew Boscovs had their own brand of chocolates! Will definitely shop again!

2022-05-21Cant find a clear checkout place and when I approach the cosmetics counter I am told that she has to prioritize cosmetics customers, of which there was NO ONE. She then asks ME if I see anyone around! Excuse me??? Your job is customer service, not customer rudeness.

2022-02-08I thought it would be fun to visit this store because I was not from the area but it was larger than a football field and I just wasnt up for it. Keep in mind if youve got anything even close to a sore ankle or a catch in your get along this is going to take a lot out of you. If youre going with someone elderly or handicapped keep that in mind also. It seems to be on the scale of a Macys from what I could see.

2022-01-08I had a less than pleasant experience here with a sales associate in the boys department while trying to purchase a coat for my son. When I informed her we were ready to check out, she replied, well, you need to hurry up because I have things to do. I walked away and checked out in the womens department where two polite ladies completed my transaction.

2022-04-16My BEST KEPT SECRET, have been shopping with them since age 14 yrs (its (Binghamton thing) If you have not been, youll ABSOLUTELY LOVE it, we have a Boscovs in Sangertown Mall up the Thruway 30 mins East, along with many other shopping and dinning places!!!
