Went here last night for a work party event. I tip my hat to Debbie! She was an incredible hostess, that always made sure our drinks were full and the food was plentiful. I remember when it was Commack Lanes and since they remodeled it, wow! It’s beautiful, modern and I loved the little digital fireplace and expanded arcade. Not only did Debbie go above and beyond, she guided me to speak to the guy who was in charge of a league that was happening that night; signed up to be a permanent sub for his team! Thank you so much Debbie, Bowlero, see you next week!
My family and I went there Saturday night and we received horrible service from Kerry T. She was very rude to us from the minute we walked up to the bar. She claimed to be too busy but there was one other customer at the bar. My cousins girlfriend asked to order a soda and she screamed at her and said “I ALREADY TOLD YOUR GROUP HOW TO ORDER ONLINE” and then walked away. My family and I have gone there a bunch of times and have never experienced anything like it. She told us at 11:00pm that was the last round of drinks we have to order our shots fast and go home. While she was still serving pitches of beer to other customers at 11:30pm. The manager never came to speak to us and apologize. This should have never happened and we are truly disgusted that it did. I’m only giving it one star because i have to. I would give this place none!!
Great bowling alley, I enjoyed my time with friends here. The lanes worked well, they didnt break on us, and the food and service was pretty exceptional. We didnt have to pay as much as we initially thought we would as well. Obviously, because of covid the place has a different atmosphere but its still very welcoming and positive.
Had fun but for the amount of people that was in here this receptionist shouldve had a mask on. I understand vaccinated fight have to but she wouldnt prove it and I felt uncomfortable. I shouldnt have to explain my health problems to show my concern for my safety. I will post a photo!
My family enjoyed our afternoon at these lanes. The staff was friendly and attentive. My only criticism is that both sides of the alley were dark. It wouldve nice to have the option to bowl on a lit lane. It was hard to see the arrows, but we still had a nice time bowling.
Definitely take advantage of the discounts. Parking can be a problem. Also the ball return breaks down and requires waiting on staff for help. The arcade is a plus and the automated prize machine is definitely cool. They must have changed cooks because the pizza is not as good as it used to be. Overall its a good place to take family.
This place is a nice family style bowling alley which is great for parties. Easy to see right off of Jericho Turnpike servicing Commack and the adjoining areas of Suffolk County. Plenty of parking and a wheelchair accessible entrance. Good food. Discount packages for groups which include bowling, food, and video games. Nice staff. Clean facilities. Public Restrooms. Reasonably priced. Credit cards accepted. We will definitely be going back.
Daughter has been asking me to take her bowling for weeks. It was my birthday, so I took my two children and wife. Dont like bowling much, but did it for the kids. ONE game and shoes $66! $36 to rent shoes for one game!!! Kids wanted to play another game, but would have been $106. How do they justify ripping people off like that!Never again!
The place and service is great!!! However I was very disappointed when i went to pay. I took my 2 girls bowling and they played 4 games on the same lane. When I went to pay I was told they played 8 games! I didn’t understand and she said each kid is separate. I spent $80 in bowling and that didn’t include food or the arcade!!! I had my kids bday parties there which is why I went back but today I’m so upset!!! I spent $150 in bowling , food and arcade. Not ok!!! I’m now turned off by this place and wish they would have said something up front. And I will let my friends w kids know as well.
Great place for a family outing or birthday party. We went for a family birthday party and everyone had a blast. Between the bowling and arcade games the kids didnt want to leave. The food was decent and the help was very good. Highly recommend it for a fun family outing.
Had a horrible experience with the waitress Kelly... we have had multiple bad experiences with her!! we were pretty much done with first game before she even greeted us. She took forever just to bring drinks, the place was dead mind you, but we saw her mingling with co workers talking drama instead. My children were indecisive on what the wanted to eat and it was obvious she was getting annoyed. She was not kind at all. She has a nasty look on her face all the time. I never want her as my waitress AGAIN! If you get put on her lane switch right away!!!
Our family had a lot of fun bowling together. The atmosphere is laidback and easygoing with the lights turned down low and the videos playing on the tv screens. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Few things that could use improvement is the balls are not in the common area on racks. You have to go from lane to lane to find a ball you can use and hope the folks bowling on that lane are not using the one you find. Also, it was a bit pricey.
My son just had his 6th birthday party here and Debbie was our host for 30 kids. I did not give her a list of names so she had to set everything up once everybody got there, which she did in under 5 minutes. The kids started bowling right away. The food was served 30 minutes in. We had an hour to eat while bowling. The cake was served 20 minutes before the end. At that time we gave them the arcade cards and the goody bags. We all had a really great time. A few things to note:1. Our host was great, efficient, organized, and always willing to help. Five stars all the way around. However, I can see how a family would need to get a private host just for their party if there were more than two parties taking place. Bowlero will not assign one host to a party. They have one host for all of the parties and charge $75 to hire your own which I did not do. The issue with having one host assigned to multiple parties is that she cant be there the whole time. There are hot trays and plates and children reaching their hands up can get burned if they are not supervised. We had plenty of adults watching but it is a liability for Bowlero and a policy they should change. Its pennywise pound foolish on their end. They charge an event fee (over a $100 for me) which does not go to the host so they need to be tipped separately.2. My husband and I had to move all of the 6 lb. bowling balls to the lanes prior to the start of the party. Not a deal breaker but it would have been helpful had it been done earlier.3. Their policy is to put six children on a lane. You have to pay to rent out additional lanes if you want less than 6 six kids on a lane. It can be expensive. We did get an extra lane which reduced our numbers to 5 per lane. The rule should be four children per lane.4. Last but note least, the food was really good. The kids had pizza, french fries, and chicken fingers and we ordered pizza and spinach and artichoke dip for the adults. Everybody liked it. When the cake was served, it was still very much frozen because it was not taken out early enough. The kids had a difficult time eating it and had to wait for it to melt a bit. Again, not a deal breaker.5. Their birthday parties are handled through their sales department who is in house. Jessica was very helpful and responsive. They will work with you on pricing for a large event where they can. I will say for 30 kids between food (my own personal policy is to feed the adults too), event fee, tip, cake, and so forth you are looking at close to 4 digits for a party. Obviously a smaller party would drastically reduce this cost.6. The lanes and balls did get stuck a few times but far less than when I had bowled here a month or so ago. The front desk promptly took care of it so no issues there. All in all, I would recommend having a party here again. A great time was had by all. Just be prepared its not cheap.Update****We just went bowling again and we had mechanical problems with the lane for 6 frames so we had to be moved. At $8.99 per game on a Saturday night with a host of mechanical issues they are losing the local bowlers to cheaper places. In all fairness they did credit the game but it took away from the momentum. They will not allow you to use the summer bowling passes after 4pm on a Saturday. This is rather absurd considering there were all of 15 people in the entire place. A helpful hint....allow people who bought the passes to bowl in the evening. They will often buy food and drinks as we did. You will encourage more people to come in and this will increase your sales.
Great atmosphere and bowling. Some of the lanes themselves are undermaintained but nothing gamebreaking. There are also some decent arcade games for non bowlers. The bar and food is pretty good as far as bowling alleys go. Overall I recommend this place for your bowling needs.
Bowlero has it down when it comes to a bowling experience. They got the lights. They got the music. The videos on the screens. The additional means of entertainment (e.g. pool tables, arcade games, giant jenga. Beer pong machines, etc.) And also food and crazy drinks delivered right to your lane. It is a great time and provides a great experience. **ONE WORD OF CAUTION** All of this experience is reason enough for them to really jack up prices! If you are to go be sure to find a night that has specials going on in order to get the best bang for your buck. Otherwise your bill can really catch you off guard once you check out for the night!
HORRIBLE: they bring pizza, fries and chicken fingers for a birthday party. So adults can only eat pizza, but God forbid u take a fry or a chicken finger. U get yelled at by employees, saying fires and chicken fingers are only for kids and adults can only eat pizza. I have never been to any establishment that had food served and adults of kids who brought them were told u cant eat something even though we all know who is paying for them. But I mean come on its food for crying out loud. Finger foods, not filet mignon. Just a bad policy. And if I were to have a party for my kid, guess what location Im avoiding. Just out of principle.
Long waits! Grew up in the place for 35 years and all of a sudden its too good for you since they remodeled. Better reserve lanes with a sales representative in the sales department well ahead for any type of outing that involes more than 2 people on a lane because it will be guaranteed at least a 2 hour wait. Never this crazy and its absurd that you would have to do that for a pair of lanes. Not like we were renting half the alley for the night. Way to alienate the locations supporters for a quick buck with the new crowd. Rather stay home or find a new thing to do.
(I am reviewing this particular Bowlero and not all of them at once). What was once an outdated (yet nostalgic) bowling alley, turned into a child’s dream and a squads night out.Ok let’s start with the basics:FOOD: Pretty good, I like usually getting their hotdogs, which are really good, but also the pizza (Acceptable). It’s a bowling alley not a 5 star diner, so don’t get upset if you eat something and it doesn’t fulfill your full expectations. There are tables to eat, and they are ok too.STAFF: Well, not going to lie, pretty non existent at some moments. When you do come around to ordering food, the staff is pretty nice, but still hard to find at moments. You can walk up to the front and ask for help or ordering food, but I still think it would be nice if they could walk around and ask you if you need anything.BOWLING OVERALL: Well, pretty great. You can take either side of the bowling alley, one is lit up with lights and one has more glow in the dark vibes to it. It’s a great family place and also a great place to take your squad/girlfriend. Don’t take your elders, it’s very loud (music and people wise) and can be understandingly obnoxious.ARCADE: Don’t do the arcade unless you really want to. It’s amazing, don’t get me wrong, but it’s very expensive and not necessarily rigged but all arcade games are always against your chances and are just money machines.BATHROOM: Pretty good, not usually dirty. No complaints.OVERALL: This bowlero in particular is pretty good. So therefore, in my eyes it deserves a 4/5! Enjoy!
This has become the WORST bowling alley in the area. The ball returns and machines are constantly breaking, the computer scorekeepers are only partially functioning, and bowling hours are constantly changing. I bowl in a Wed. night league and have been going on Sunday morning for practice. Now, with the new renovations, the lights go out, and extreme bowling starts by 11am even if theres nobody there! When you ask why, youre told speak to corporate, this is what they want. Before going this morning I called to make sure they were open (New Years Eve). The answering service said they were open at 9am. When I arrived at 9:15, the lanes were closed, and the door sign said it opens at 11am. When I went home and checked online, the hours were posted as 10am.They need to GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER. They also need to get back to putting their regular league players first, and NOT make the regulars 2nd class citizens to birthday parties and video games. If you want to BOWL, this should be your LAST choice.
If i could give this a negative 5 i would, dont ever bring your gf or bf here they’ll want to leave within the first 30 seconds because the speakers are complete shi t i wouldnt tell my worst enemy to come here its straight torture i left there last week and i still cant hear anything in my left ear! ive been recovering slightly and hope you take my advice!
Prices are ludicrous for me and my date to bowl 3 games was 60 bucks. Bowling is alright a bunch of flash without much content. Missing markings on the floor and anoyying trash on the projectors. But now as loud or irritating as other bowleros. Probably wont be back until a weak day when price are less.

2022-04-12Good to bowl again! It has been a while but I did ok ! Just a got little pricey since the last time I was bowling at #larkfieldlanes Service was a little slow. The background behind the pins was on and it was a little distracting.

2022-03-31Had a few kids birthday parties here. they force you to order food from their kitchen, and besides the chicken fingers its absolutely terrible
