Great experience here. We were searching Groupon for bowling in the area and saw this place. The Groupon was about $30 for 2 people for 2 hours of bowling with shoes. They also have packages for 4 and 6 people priced accordingly. I am not sure their regular bowling prices, but I did see a few signs for specials during the week. You may want to check the website before going. We got there at 12 PM on Labor Day (Monday) and the place was fairly empty with only a handful of others there...but by the time we were leaving at around 2 PM the place was pretty full. Large parking lot with tons of spaces. The decor is very nice and modern. There is a light and dark side to bowl, as well as an arcade area and a large bar in the back. The few staff members we encountered were all very nice. The front counter woman had no issues accepting our Groupon and was very friendly throughout the check in process. She asked if we wanted the light or dark side and we chose the dark and were given a lane there. The lanes were is great condition. The scoring machines did seem a bit outdated but functioned well. The arcade was nice with a few games where you put money on a card and play various games to earn tickets which you can trade in for prizes via a giant vending machine. The bar area in the back was impressive with a full bar and nice decor. The bartender at the time was explaining to me that the drinks were very reasonably priced with pints of beer for $7 and large sized mixed drinks for a bit more. I can imagine this place is pretty lively after 9-10PM on the weekends. There was also a waitress coming around to each lane to take food orders if you want. I dont think there is a way to order food on your own though.
The day we went was a Sunday, the deals they have Sundays are good and also the Fridays night, there were not too many people and also everyone has to wear their mask all the time inside( except when you are eating or drinking) totally recommend this place. The arcade games were close it didnt bother us at all since we didnt go there for that.
The only problem with the place, I was in need of a drink, went to the concession area twice for a total of 5 minutes, where I was then informed I will have to place my order at the front desk, so the one place has the posted menu, the other rings the order.. w he y even have the concession? Im there to relax, not run from 1 place to the other
We planned a last minute cousins get together, found a great party package deal on their website and they were very accomodating for our next day party. From Alexandria who helped plan the party, the front desk staff who plowed throught the steady flow of guests with a smile, attentive Phoebe who tended to us and the Gentleman who checked in on how everything had been going; I say we definately found a place to go back to again and again.
Bad experience they skip people waiting for lanes not the first time either but gave them another shot because we have had good experience before but the last few times have turned us off completely (last time we had eight people this time 4 ) we went to top golf last time instead . This time we went to Dave and busters instead.
Came here recently for a 6 year olds birthday party... The service was quick and friendly. The female manager kept checking in (forgot her name). She went above and beyond by addressing a couple of concerns we brought up. I cannot comment on the prices, but they do have specials that you can take advantage of if youre on a budget. I will definitely come back!
The lanes themselves were good. By 2 problems were that 4 people behind the counter doing who knows what with 1 person checking people in. 2 groups infront of me 1 with 5 people another with 3 people and it took almost 20 minutes just to get a lane. Secondly 1 bartender taking care of all the orders is a little crazy. She was overwhelmed and didnt know who was coming or going. Almost 40 minutes for cheese fries. When I went to close out the bill with her she had other peoples stuff connected to my 1 beer and cheese fries. 10 minutes later that was finally resolved. So in a nutshell lanes are good, customer service was poor.
Very, very nicely redone. Modern and clean, lots of areas to hangout and eat/drink. Lanes and seating nicely done. Where this place loses a star is the service. We waited at least 15-20 minutes on the line to check-in (we were so close to leaving). There was only one person working at the counter and they seemed really confused with how to ring people up, maybe they were new. Nonetheless, they were friendly and we were on our way after that long wait. Also, I was interrogated by the bartender (and also a really nosy patron) because I looked young. Mind you, I’m 22 and had valid ID. While I do look young, I do not appreciate being belittled by a patron and then having the bartender show him my ID with all my personal information. I was eventually served a drink but will be sure to never get a drink from there again. It was a little pricey too (go figure). Despite the slow and somewhat weird service, it’s a pretty chill place to go with friends and family for a fun night out.
PARKING LOT NOT SAFE!!!!! I went here this evening at around 9:00 PM and my laptop was stolen out of my car!!! We left at 10:26. My door was locked and no windows were broken but my laptop was gone as well ask my eye glass case being thrown outside of my car. .and I know for sure it was in my car , I called the police and made a report. Although the manager was willing to help there was no outcome. Aside from this happening the service in the bowling alley was actually awful. I would have order double the amount of food and drinks i did , if there service there actually cared about their job. All in all i would never recommend going here. This place or is obviously NOT SAFE ! And nor does the staff care about anything ! Also very overpriced!!!!!
Bowlero was so much fun. We got the Summer Season Pass. Although you are able to bowl three games daily with it, we only bowled two. It was more than enough time for our little ones. The boys had a ball, they also got to play at the arcade and win some small prizes. Bowlero at Sayville has some delicious menu choices as well as drink choices. Although we went for family time, it can definitely be a place to go for date nite or to meet up with a couple of friends. Around 7pm the lights go off and you get a party ambience. Definitely will becoming back and enjoying our Summer Season Pass.
I took my kids here on a Sunday night. The prices are much lower on Sunday’s. The bar area is closed but you can order from your lane. There is hand sanitizer at every lane and a barrier between yours and the next aisle. Bowling is always a good time with family or friends and there is never any rush to leave. I did run into a few downs and well as the up’s of the place. The bathroom had no toilet paper and I had to find the waitress to pay , she also forgot to come back for my dessert order after I asked for another minute to review the menu. It’s not a deal breaker, still a nice place to go. I’ll definitely be back.
Food took forever, but the worst part was that we were in the ninth frame of our game and without an announcement that they were closing, the game just shut off and we were expected to pay for the whole game. I just think if you’re going to cut off a game, you should give a heads up before hand.
Great service, delicious food and fun family night. We decided to have our monthly family night at this location for the 1st time, and the service was amazing from the time we walked in we were greeted by Breanna who was super friendly. Jose was our server and he made sure our food was served on time, both staff members were awesome and made our visit amazing. Thank you to the Manager for such a wonderful staff, we highly recommend this location!!
Went for food and bowling after looking at there web site. Wish they would have shown that they were under construction. No food, no tap beer, and the bowling was so expensive.Update 4/19/19: Wanted to post an update to this. Went recently with my very young kids and extended family. The place looks amazing, so much to do even if you dont want to bowl the whole time. Food was great, plenty of drinks from the beautiful bar. It really did turn out pretty cool, even for this old man!
Probably the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. The moment we arrived our lane was broken, ball return wouldn’t send balls back. Later on our lane turned off so we needed assistance again to get it going. Then 10:45 rolled around we were on OUR LAST FRAME EACH (10th 4 people total) and they said we couldn’t finish our game due to mandate. We had at most 1-2 minutes to finish it. This is the worst bowling alley I’ve been to date. Please go elsewhere. By the way no I didn’t get a refund I had to pay full. Please fire the girl behind counter she was a terrible human being
The Saturday night staff was great. Manager was very accommodating. He hooked us up after we bought a coupon we couldnt use he gave us a discount that matched. Had a great time. Staff was great with the kids, they were definitely not overlooked. Thanks Im headed back there tomorrow with yet another friend.
The prices for bowling where about average but the food prices however where outrageous! $12 for a cheeseburger! And $4 for a bottle of water! The atmosphere is great and the bathrooms are clean. My family and I had a good time. I would just recommend eating somewhere else before you go bowling here!
Came here with my husband this Friday for a night out and indeed it was much needed since the ongoing pandemic the bowling alley just reopened on Wednesday and they already had a special Friday night only after 8pm 2hrs unlimited bowling with shoes for $22.00 per person not a bad deal for a Friday night, I have to be honest everything from entering staff was kind and helpful and the service was phenomenal everything was super clean and sanitized they also had hand sanitizer almost everywhere they also have you separated so one bowling lane is open and the next is closed so theres a social distancing between other players, mask have to be worn upon entering and going around the facility but once you are at your lane you can take it off to bowl, the only downside is that the bar and the arcade is closed but obviously thats due to government guidelines but theyre doing a wonderful job, new rules for alcoholic beverages are that you must order a food item Im not sure for what reason they did that. But i highly recommend this place!!! I will be returning for more date nights to come. Good vibes all around!!
I had my sons birthday party at this recently renovated bowling alley. The facilities are nice, good lighting, plenty of tv screens, bar and bar food, and small arcade. The party was great and the price for the party was very reasonable. The staff was attentive and polite, especially the party coordinator. I recommend paying a visit if your looking to host a fun and headache-free party that wont cost a fortune.
Nice place to bowl. Went there for their Monday special so it was pretty busy w a long wait but staff was very friendly. There are even servers if You want to order food or drinks which was nice so we didn’t have to leave during a game or wait for a bowler to come back to bowl. Food was pretty decent.
Place is really cool! They have flat screens all the way around. Little messy in the sitting area where you bowl. But it was definitely a fun experience with friendly staff and a big parking lot. Good music and the food is ok for a bowling alley. Big game room for the kids as well.
Bowlero was nice... but the were a few issues while there. My friends and i waited about 45 minutes for a waiter/waitress to come around and take our food order. In that 45 minutes we were never asked if we wanted to place an order. After the wait we decided to go to the bar and just open a tab there, which seemed to fix that problem. The bartenders were friendly and took our orders. Then I ordered tacos and waited about an hour for them to come out, but they never came out. When I asked about them I was told the kitchen had not made them yet, so I requested to change the order. Later in the evening my friends and I were not allowed to finish our last game. We started our last game prior to closing, around 11:35. At 12:00 the lanes were shut down and we could not finish our game but we were still charged for the game. I approached a manager about what had happened and he didnt seem to care. Probably wont go back. In my opinion you should be able to finish what you pay for. The service was awful and wait time was lengthy. The food was ok at best and everything was pricey. However the bartenders were very nice to my friends and I.
Great bowling experience, but the food was expensive, which most bowling alley food is, but was entirely inedible. My in-laws took the family for Christmas day and we ordered from what seemed like a great menu. We played it safe and ordered sliders and pizza and pigs in a blanket - how could you mess those up? Just eat before you go.
The bar is nice, however, the staff is beyond slow. Took over 25 minutes to get them to even turn the lane on. The bar staff is nice but extremely slow as well and forgot my one drink order after taking other drink orders after me. Not all lanes are cleaned. Not the most friendly environment. Ill bowl elsewhere.
Ok, this place is quite professionally done and nice looking, but there’s a lot of downsides. First off, the arcade is a complete ripoff. The arcade games and prize machines take more credits than necessary and don’t even work right. Next, the bar takes a while. I had to wait quite a while to get a drink there because the employees weren’t even listening. Even when I was the only person there. And last, the TVs are very distracting. I can’t even bowl when there are these bright screens distracting me with cartoons and baseball games. So, it is quite nicely decorated, but each time I went, I never had an enjoyable experience.
This place is extremely OVERPRICED! We ordered food which was not restaurant quality, 2 sodas, 2 beers, nearly $50, only our kids bowled and for 2 kids, ages 7 and 10 to bowl 2 games each and rent shoes it was $48.97!!! I think prices for kids to bowl should not be so expensive! We should have gone to the movies!
Baffled and disgusted.I purchased an $80 Groupon for two hours of bowling for 6+ people. We made the young woman, Julia(?), working the counter aware we had the Groupon, but that a 7th bowler would be joining us. She asked for a card to put on file for the additional person and explained that we are charged per game, so we would not need to redeem our groupon or pay for the additional person until we were leaving. When we went to pay, I presented my Groupon and the same young woman stated she was mistaken and we could only redeem the Groupon prior, so she would need to charge the full amount on our card. Obviously, this was unacceptable, because we would ultimately be paying twice for a singular night of bowling as the Groupon was non-refundable. When I attempted to find a resolution, she curtly said she didnt care and would just charge my card anyway if I had a problem. I explained anything beyond the Groupon and the payment for our additional bowler would be unauthorized and I would need to file a dispute and complaint with the company. She walked away without a word while I was left flabbergasted and unaware as to why at the counter. She had called the manager who tried to reiterate that a Groupon needs to be presented prior. I attempted to explain to her that I had no qualms with their policy - I had a problem with our particular situation because a) the sole reason it was not presented prior was due to misinformation on the staffs behalf, which could be easily resolved in that instance while offering a smoother process to future patrons to ensure errors of the sort did not repeat and b) the staff members dismissive attitude and thoroughly rude handling in the wake of her error. To add insult to injury, as it was now passed closing, the manager made us aware she didnt have any interest in handling our issue and just wanted to go home. Which is fair - we wanted to go home as well. But not being doubly charged due to subordinate staffs misinformation and the managers lack of drive to preform her role appropriately. She then threatened that if we had no intention to leave knowing she would charge us anyway without accepting the payment we had already made, she would call the police. We once again offered our Groupon and payment for the cost it did not include. We had absolutely no issue paying. She unethically denied it.So we opted to continue to refuse a double charge and to wait. She called the police in front of us, outlandishly lying and saying we were threatening her and her staff. Which also never occurred, but when she hung up, she proceeded to scoff at and berate us.Fine examples being that when we called her on the lie she responded, But at this point, its he said, she said, so well just see who wins. And that trashy people obviously do this a lot. These are the most grossly unprofessional comments I have ever heard any customer service representative utter. And this coming from senior staff is unthinkable. The interaction with the officers lasted no more than a single minute - which should speak volumes about how threatening we were. They entered without asking for a single individual from our groups information, pulled the manager aside, and returned stating we would not be charged anything and to head home.We went as far as to once again offer the ability to at least mark the Groupon as redeemed, but the officers sent us on our way.Despite the managers disgusting commentary, we are not trashy and were not seeking anything for free - we simply wanted to be provided with a great experience at an institution we frequent. To resolve a simple matter of staff miscommunication that led to misinformation being fed to customers. The managerial handling amounted to insulting patrons and issuing bogus, unnecessary, cry-wolf threats rather than discussion, any effort to come to an understanding, and reasonable accommodation for both parties.A night surrounded by largely wonderful staff and a great atmosphere thoroughly ruined due to the two bad apples of the bunch.
Very nice bowling alley. My family and I usually bowl at AMF Babylon Lanes which we love, but tried this alley due to an all day tournament at Babylon. This was a great alternative for us since they honored our league rates and practice games. Thank you to the Bowlero corporation for giving us that option.Sayville had a nice atmosphere and friendly staff
Not a good place for league bowlers. Less and less care given to the regular bowler. 3 years later after this review not much has changed. Staff is very friendly but not a place for anyone who is a serious bowler, shot is terrible with nothing done to improve it regardless of criticism.
Super fun. More fun the later it is as the music is better. Drinks are great. Food is horrible. But youd expect way over salted, boxed food at a place like this. Wish TVs had more fun things.. Like one side sports and maybe one side something cooler. Not everyone is into sports.
One stuck up manager who got mad at us for getting a ball stuck in the gutter, go here 2 times a week and was really ashamed she was hired I was i shock as she proceeded to yell at our group. Her co workers seemed shocked as well snd one tried to calm her down and told us after the fact she was overreacting. Everyone else here is super helpful otherwise, very clean although it is very pricey.
Really clean and has so many lanes. Was visit from Florida and used to bowl here when I was a little man. Was great to see it again and that it was well maintained and updated but with still keeping the feel of its original Beauty. Oh and the game room for the kids was crazy... pac man on like a 20ft screen lol.
This place used to be called AMF bowling, but the changed their name. Nice and chic decor, lots of lanes to bowl, was is really good, order the ceaser salad, it was amazing. My only complaint is the service is a little bit slow, you get free refills, but apparently you better off getting the refills yourself. Overall nice place for a family night out including the hard to please teens.
Let me start with atmosphere is great - clean tables, cool decorations, nice bar, friendly service. I gave 3 stars for the prices. My husband and I went there on a Saturday night, and we expected to pay the $6.50 or so per game per person. We get there and on Saturday nights they jack their prices up to $8.84 per game! We just found this very distasteful - bowling is expensive enough, to raise your prices on Saturday night? $6.50 a game is not enough?! Weve been there with our 3 kids (they are young, so its hard to take advantage of any promotions because theyre usually late at night) and the bill gets to be astronomically high between shoes, games, food, we just dont go bowling anymore. And the arcade? A total rip-off. I put $5 on cards for each kid (cause weve already spent over $100 on bowling lol) and it was gone in literally 120 seconds. Games are $1-$2 each. Why make everything so cost-prohibitive for families? They do give plenty of promotional nights, Ill give them that - one night is $2.22 a game etc., but on Tuesday nights or something. ALSO A SUGGESTION: Make a separate line for people checking out!!!! They make you wait on long lines to get a lane (okay typical no surprise there), but then when youre done and want to pay, they make you wait on the same long line! Bottom line, cool place, so expensive.
A ripoff!! Signed up with a group of 19 people for midnight bowling. Were originally told $23 for 2 hours of bowling,2 choices of food,2 drinks. Then told no drinks included. Okay, still going for it. They gave us 3 lanes for 19 people, though the lane next to us was empty.(as was half the bowling alley) 2 frozen pizzas( horrible), tray of chicken fingers(actually pretty good) Proceeded to tell us if we wanted to finish our second game we needed to pay $6 extra per person!! They shut the lanes down when we said no. Their loss. Not only would this group would have spent at least another $100 at the bar if we had been allowed to finish, but may have made this a monthly,or every couple of months event. In the end it was $26 per person for 1 game of bowling, a couple slices of lousy pizza, decent chicken fingers. When we do this again it will be at another venue.
This place truly disappointed me. I went here for the first time and ended up spending over $100 with 4 games and 3 people. That is absolutely over priced and stupid. I should have rented 3 seperate lanes and would have gotten the same price. I hope this place sees this message and fixes their prices. Also when I got food they 1) messed the entire order up. 2) took over 35 minutes to receieve.3) is also over priced. A sampler of 2 appetizers each came to $30. Please tell me how Im supposed to have an enjoyable time after seeing my wallet is now empty due to bowlero. Thank you for ruining my pay check.
This one employee(guy) just has a nasty attitude we just came in to have a great time & them eye rolls & giggles were unnecessary for when asking a question we needed to be answered. But the whole mood of this welcoming was disappointing should change the way you treat your customers.!
Went here on a whim on a rainy Tuesday where I called and asked about pricing and was told that I could come in for half off games. I believe it was $8 a game not including the shoes. We played 4 games and when the total game back $80 I was gobsmacked. I honestly was so surprised I didnt think to argue but I said that the person who I spoke to on the phone said it was per game not per person. The woman at the counter who was also the bartender told me that I was wrong and it was per person. I dont mind paying for what I played but I was completely mislead. I didnt want to be disruptive so I paid and left. By coincidence I met another owner of a different Bowlero on the island and he indeed confirmed that we were 100% ripped off and it should be per game not per person. I will never come back.
My friends and I had a really fun time at Bowlero in Sayville. The line was a bit confusing but once we got up to the register we got right to playing. On tuesdays its $2.22 for tacos and drinks and games of bowling, so definitely worth it! I didnt like the scenery, i usually anticipate a neon theme when I bowl so if thats what your looking for, steer clear!
The bartender with the so called blonde hair was terrible slow rude and would never make it in a real bar.. Never had to wait 13 minutes to get a beer.. the worst was just me and one other guy at the bar.. she never said a word after making eye contact. DONT QUIT YOUR DAY JOB. WOW WOW WOW.. Terrible.
This is a great bowling alley. The decor is very modern and lively. The furniture is very comfortable and aesthetically pleasing, the food is good and there is a pretty swanky looking bar in the back of the bowling alley with a fake fireplace and everything. The bowling lanes also are all dimly lit and have black lights on them as well for a more cozy appearance rather than the blinding white halogen lights of most bowling alleys. Theres also a small arcade section near the entrance of the bowling alley with prizes available to win. They also have tv shows or live sports games being broadcasted on projector screens at the end of each lane. Its a great bowling alley, definitely the best on the island.
Meh, it’s OK, it’s not the greatest bowling alley. There of been a few times where they did not leave the lanes before our league came in. I could barely get the score above 100 even though my average is 165. They should have specials on buckets of beer, a little too expensive
If your looking for competent employees you will not find it here, Asked the lady at the front desk to bowl four games for two people she put me down for two games, As soon as you sit down nice lady comes and says if you want to order anything just let me know, Later on told her I wanted to order some food then she blew me off, Place was nice but the people that work there are a bunch of blockheads,
I have my daughters 8th birthday party here my wife and I were very happy with the service the food was delicious everything from the Giant Burger to the chicken tenders the pretzels and the mac and cheese triangles our server was awesome I wish I could remember her name but I would highly recommend having a party here they are absolutely great and we had a great time

2022-07-06A big shout out to the employees at Sayville Bowlero. We were there tonight so my son and his friends could celebrate graduation. The staff was fantastic, friendly and so accommodating. We booked a party later so we wouldn’t be late but we wound up be more than a half an hour early. We worried we have to wait around but we figured we would give it a shot and ask if we could start sooner. They didn’t even flinch they said it was fine obviously, it’s an off day so I know it wasn’t that crowded but they were ahead of the game they already had the area set up and ready so we were good to go. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. We had a small group of six. But I highly recommend checking them out and looking at all the types of parties and options they provide. It made it so much easier for us to let them handle all the details. Definitely planning on going back.

2022-04-18Great for children! Very clean. They quickly put up the bumpers and brought over a bowling ball ramp for the toddler in our party.Be mindful of the ball return with little fingers. The ball returns here were not enclosed like in some other places, which could lead to little fingers being pinched or caught up in the belt.

2021-07-08Have wanted to try the summer pass deal for years. Finally this year bought them. We ended up going 3 times the first week. Thats 3 less times the kids were on their screens and were up moving, socializing and spending time together.

2022-06-18Lady when we first walked in wasnt paying to much attention but after seeing a line she came over. Was helpful getting our shoes and tell us whether we like the light or dark side. Either side is good for me when bowling for fun. I assume they didnt have servers on because we ended up having to go to the bar for our drinks. Bartenders were both very nice and respectful. We had a great time using our Groupon for 2 hours of bowling, (shoes included).

2022-05-11Great clean place. Cool atmosphere. Bar, food, huge screens on every lane, fun for kids and adults. Little expensive but you get what you pay for. This is a nice spot.

2022-06-03I smuggled 3 Budweisers in and one of the workers busted me after about 1.5 buds down. The staff was super polite about it and asked if we would like to buy anything from their bar... I like how the TV displays your ball speed.

2022-05-26Bar service is trash. Waited 7 minutes before being acknowledged and then another 4 minutes before being served. And it wasnt that busy while I was at the bar. Very expensive to bowl. Rather throw rocks at abandoned trains next time.
