Went here against my husbands suggestion not to. Really wanted stuffed banana peppers and the chicken pepper flat bread sounded good. So i ordered that and my husband wanted a beef on weck. When I ordered the beef the waitress asked if I wanted chips or fries as the side, I said fries. They told me itd be an hour wait, no big deal, it was a Friday.The Flatbread pizza was not bad at all, the way the packaged it to go was kind of messed up, half laid on top of the other half with tinfoil in between that the cheese all stuck to.The beef on weck was by far the most dry roast beef we have ever had in buffalo. Only thing that saved it was the $1 teaspoon of gravy we asked for last second. The fries were also 2.99 extra and I had no idea.
This is one of those little places that makes a moment spent with that special someone, or friends, all the more special. You can talk to each other, enjoy some great food, and rarely feel like you cant stick around for desserts. This is one of my faves of places for dessert and coffee. They do have a bar if you want something to go along with your food. Yeah, food! They usually have one or two soups a day, which are always changing for a great variety. The menu is quaint, but the choices will feed that big work crew or the small office. The prices are quite affordable for the portion sizes.
So great...food was amazing and service 100000%....our waitress did everything from Taking orders to making delicious bar drinks..
The mushroom BlackBerry soup was delicious. I had jambalaya which was spicy and good with an italian twist. My wife had steak with shrimp. The steak was undercooked for her and potatoes and steak could use more seasoning. We will definitely go back and try some other dishes that caught our interest. Our server Leah was great and really personable!
As always a great experience. My friends and m family have used this facility for many occasions! Happy occasions such as showers and birthdays and even the sad but memorable funeral brunches. The staff is always friendly and bends over backwards to make everyone happy and make sure we have everything we need. The food is always good too!
Love this place food is really good with lots of choices. Love the specials Prime Rib and seafood platter is always a great choice. The service is outstanding have a lot of waitress and they all are so sweet! Recommend for something small or a big dinner. Enjoy your meal!
Not my 1st visit, and we have not been dissapointed yet!!! We did Friday Fish Fries and they were delicious!!! My beer battered was light and crispy (and big the way I like them), it came with a nice portion of french fries and sides of both macaroni salad and cole slaw, also excellent. This is the best fish fry Ive enjoyed in a while .... oh yea, the service was great too!!!!
Tried Bravo for the first time tonight Food was just ok. Had the chicken parmigiana which came with soup or salad. Had the salad which was very good. Found the sauce to be very salty for my taste. Chicken came out nice and hot but the side of pasta was only lukewarm. When we asked for some bread we were told that it was available for 50 cents for each roll.My wife had the spaghetti parmigiana which was also salty for her taste. The couple that were with us had the prime rib special which they said was a little undercooked, but they enjoyed it.
First time at Bravo Cafe. Casual dining and atmosphere. Food was above average. Price reasonable. Give it a solid 8 out of ten. Will go again.
Great Italian and and American entrees. Fabulous paninis and sandwiches. Always good food served well and quickly. Chef Phil has some marvelous specialties. Dont miss their habit-forming homemade potato chips!!
Love the coconut shrimp! Have enjoyed the salad with chicken, pecans, mandarin oranges, and more. Great service. I do agree with the need for more bread with the food offered. One breadstick with the salad was not enough.
Had pork chops, cabbage w/bacon, and mashed potatoes entree. Excellently cooked and wonderful flavor ! Highly recommend. TY for a Great Meal !
This was my favorite.A month ago I suggested this restaurant with several couples. Disappointing that we had to ask for extra sauce and were charged. Only a bread stick came with the meal. Italians like bread with pasta. We had to order separate and pay more.The sauce was good.Quality of eggplant parm. not the same.I dont think Ill recommend again.
Attended xmas celebration in back room. Meal served for dinner was buffet style. 100% delicious. Would highly recommend for gatherings. Only word of advice would be... either not place table near kitchen door, OR kitchen staff/waitresses should not be so loud. You are able to hear all noise... pots, pans, laughter, communications. Unable to hear speaker at event, and hard to communicate with others at table.

Ordered the fish fry breaded. It arrived and looked burnt (very dark brown). I questioned the waiter and was told thats how its done. It was dry and the breading tasted slightly burnt. We were frequent patrons but no more.

Had an event there which they catered. Delicious food, beautiful private room, wonderful service, and love their wine! Prices were very good. Highly recommend for any event or private dining. Will certainly return for dinner.
Had a 50th wedding anniversary party here. Was way too hot and very crowed for the allowed amount of people. Bar package was very minimal in the amount we received. Didn’t stay on top of refilling peoples water. Food was cold. They lectured the dj about the volume which was already at a low level. The owners would walk by but NEVER checked in with the people holding the party. Rather rude if you ask me. Staff was watching us through the kitchen door window. Made preparing this party confusing as they would talk to several people about it when asked not to. Not going to hold a gathering here again.
I visited Bravo with a friend for wednesday homemade ravioli night. It was lovely. The ravioli was authentic and just as I remember my grandma making it when I was a kid. Service was good, prompt and attentive. We also shared a carafe of wine, enjoyed their homemade balsamic salad dressing, and indulged in a lovely dessert. The atmosphere is quaint and intimate. You can be casual or dressed. Bravo was a nice dining experience. I recommend.
Went there for restaurant week. Service was great. Food was good. Prices were modest. Nothing really stands out after eating here. Restaurant is a safe choice if youve never been.
The wait staff was awesome! My only complaint was the size of my dish in comparison to the price. But it was excellently flavored, so thats a plus.
Went to an event last night and Bravo Rest was catering. As a former elected official I have been to many functions, parties and buffets the total number surpass my fingers and toes by far. But I can tell you that the pasta bolongnase was out of this world. Never ever had a pasta as good as this pasta in a buffet line. Mmmmm-good.
Stop reading reviews and RUN to Bravo. Seriously. THE best GF/DF pasta Ive ever tasted. I had the dish with the roasted veggies on the pasta....gluten free and vegan.....ohhhhhmygoodness it was delicious. I forget what my dad ordered but he greatly enjoyed it. My mom ordered the full rack of ribs and it fed her, myself, a few to my dad, and we had leftovers still! Sooooo good.
Got the broiled Fish Platter. Everything cooked as it should be. No over or under done fish. Smashed redskin potatoes were great. Seafood soup was great too.

Food was good but dont put the check on the table until all parties are finished eating. This wasnt a free meal we were paying for it . Servers need more training.
Worst food Ive ever had and when I told the waitress about how bad the food was claimed nothing she can do about it. Only took 2 bites of the food and no more the best part was the iced tea I got which is a coke product..if I could do 0 stars I would BEWARE Dont Eat Here!!!!!

Bravo! The name says it all. The meal was beyond words. Portion, flavor, and the service all get 5 stars. Definitely be dining here again when in Buffalo.

2022-02-02Place smelt putrid. took sharquifa and my mother here and my mother said it smelt like fish but was OK when my fiance to be left the smell was ok. Order the meat loaf sub and the bread was soggy but its ok i like em soggy. Ma threw up in the men bathroom because the womens had a toilet filled with poo. Plus the waitress wouldnt get me a mcrib.

2019-07-06Stopped in for dinner tonight around 7:30pm Im still in a food coma. The tortilini was so delicious and large serving that I couldnt finish it. The shrimp scampi had huge pieces of shrimp and was also delicious. Both meals came with soup or salad. I got the beer cheddar soup and it was good but I would call it potato cheddar soup as there was no hint of beer flavor to it.Our waitress Tammy was great. The place has a nice atmosphere with a small bar in the front. Im sure that we will be back.

2021-10-21Another five star review from my wedding. I cannot say enough about Carmela and her team. The food was AMAZING. Honestly, so many people came up to me or spoke to me after the wedding RAVING about the food. And everyone knows how important that is at a wedding. We did buffet style and she called tables for us – keeping everything running smoothly. The staff was polite and kept everything tidy all evening.
