The food here is amazing 5 stars!!! The staff not so much. They are so rude like you are bothering them coming to order. My husband asked about a roast beef sandwich and the girl gave him an attitude back saying he should know about it sorry you work here so you should know every menu item not him!! Such bad customer service make me think if the food is really worth getting an attitude. I see other people also had the same problem i have encountered they never pick up the phone you can never get through I called 47 times yesterday not one answer. also they seem to open and close whenever they want it can say online they are open then you go there and the sign is turned saying closed. Please be specific when you will be open and closed. and please get new staff friendly staff.
One of my favorite places in the Hamptons. I love their sandwiches. I love them so much that they know me by name in there now :)They also bake excellent bread, and their morning scones are heavenly. If you are in there, make sure to check out the fridges. They have some excellent prepared foods like pizza and enchiladas. They also have an extremely well curated cheese selection. Yummy!
Came here because it is my go to lunch spot. My brother was broken down on the side of the road and I was talking to him to help. The cashier told me to put my phone down which I did briefly even though I said I was dealing with an emergency and as I was putting the credit card into the machine I picked my phone back up to speak to my brother. The cashier took the reader away and said “I’m being a douche”Won’t be coming back and I think people should be aware of this behavior. Certainly will be telling people I know not to support these guys. Unacceptable to call someone an insult when they are trying to help a family member stranded on the road and also pay for something instead of just leaving. A no phone policy isn’t an excuse.Would urge the owner to talk to his staff. Sad because I love the place but that isn’t how you should treat people and I won’t be supporting them going forward.
NEVER CALL THIS BAKERY A DELI. The reason I bring this up I only ever go to this store for lunch and purchase sandwiches. Each time I have tried a different item on there pretty extensive menu and each and everyone has left me debating why I would go anywhere else for the same sandwich from their blackened salmon on squishy to their southern style chicken finger sandwich. Their sandwiches were so good that I totally forgot they made anything else. For the first time I ventured out of my element and purchase some of their baked desserts to take home. They never made it to the house. I say bravo to everyone involved in these heavenly creations!
Amazing food! Never had anything that wasnt top notch, all fresh ingredients, bursting with flavor. Gotta try the chicken finger po boy and the hippy dippy but everything is so good there. Dont forget a pastry or Danish too. All the bread is made from scratch, home-made, not home-baked
Over price products I’ll say but what do you expect if you’re in the Hamptons? Charging $12 for a flan? When I can get that same flan for $6 in the city but again what do you expect from a bakery located in the Hamptons? Don’t get me wrong it’s all tasty and good just think their items are over priced
One of a kind, and Best Bakery around. Everything here is amazing! Anyone who says otherwise is miserable in life. Soups, sandwiches, bagels, scones, Id continue but I started drooling. Hate seeing people sometimes complain about the price when everything is hand made that day (you will not find deli meat here.) They are there hours before the sun rises to start cooking for the day.
My favorite is the annual soda bread, which Nancy grinds caraway seeds in to. Only once a year, in limited supply, but as close to Galway as you can get on the East End. When Im craving some Ireland on a regular day, I grab the buttermilk raisin scone, slather it with KerryGold salted at home, brew up the Barrys cuppa and let the rain pour down! Sandwiches are delish here, its a whole thing, get to know squishy bread. Not cheap, but one of the best bakeries youll eat at. Make it a weekly or monthly treat.

2020-01-13Breadzilla is a true Hamptons Gem. Their sandwiches are too good. I suggest you go with a friend, so you can try at least two.. they are so good. I love the Blackened Salmon and the Hippy Dippy... Delicious. Behave when you are there, no phones or rude people allowed- try the raspberry and chocolate scone... keep it up, Nancy and thanks!

2022-01-14Breadzilla was the most unique bakery/lunch establishment on the South Fork without the boughie attitude that has become the norm out here. They werent the best at what they did, they were the only ones to do what they did. Year after year you could count on Nancy, Brad, Felix and all those who worked in the kitchen to serve up some of the tastiest lunches and pastries you could find anywhere in the Hamptons. Home of the squishy roll, cinnamon loaf and the drunken Felix sandwich It was one of those places where you hated to finish the last bite of whatever you were eating there because it was that good. As a patron for over 20 years I am going to miss their daily specials, their friendly faces, the devotion and the love they put into their business. Good luck in your endeavors and enjoy your retirement. You are loved.

2021-09-15The folks are Breadzilla are hardworking and give you amazing service from behind a counter, which really stands out. The last time I visited for breakfast, I asked if a very tempting confectionary was a cookie (could’ve been a brownie?) and the employee at the cash register told me yes. I debated the purchase, but decided against my AM sugar habits and let him know I’d just do a bagel. Checking out, he put the cookie in a bag for me anyway!I love trying new treats whenever I go here, everything is delicious. My favorite yet is definitely that chocolate fudge cookie. Can’t say it is an ideal breakfast habit, though. My mom also absolutely loves from here. Buys a good few and keeps them in the freezer for tea!

2018-04-24The sandwich I had was lovely. Rather eat somewhere like this than a lot of restaurants.

2021-12-30Great selection of bread, cakes, muffins and sandwiches/salads/soups. High quality - could do with a wider selection of quality cold drinks.

2020-10-03Truly phenomenal sandwiches (and everything). Every single item in the sandwich is top notch and the combos are perfectly balanced which makes for honestly the best ones around. Faves: fried codwich and blackened salmon. All their baked goods are perfect and not too sweet, so so good.

2020-11-01I have been eating lunch at Breadzilla since the beginning of the century. There is no place on the East End quite like it. They dont just make sandwiches at Breadzilla, they craft them. The quality of the product shows down to the last tasty mouthful. It is one of those enjoyable eating experiences that you hate to see come to an end and makes your taste buds smile with delight. My favorite sandwich has always been the chicken and melted cheddar on a squishy roll when they offer it. My favorite breads are the cinnamon swirl loaf and cheese loaf or cheese rolls. No matter what you order there from the Usual Suspects to Todays Special Sandwiches it will be always be built with love by Nancy or Brad and served with a familiar taste of humor by Felix. Worth the wait to give this place a try the next time that you are in Wainscott.

2021-07-14Best sandwiches in the hamptons. Probably best bread in the hamptons. Their southern fried chicken PoBoy will make you question the validity of every fried chicken your mouth has had to put up with before it.Bread made from wild yeast starter the way your grandmothers grandmother had to do it.Sausage and pesto scone with fresh mozzarella baked into it will have you crying for marinara sauce. Maybe they have it. Maybe you will have your life changed by skipping goldbergs in front to stop here.
