This hardware store will rival any big box store they have all your needs he has a great stock his prices are very fair and I would recommend anyone to do business with Bretts hardware
This store is a blessing. More expensive than the big box stores, but now I dont have to drive across town when I need something for a project. Staff is helpful and they always have what I need.
I love this store. They have a great selection of hardware, cleaning supplies and other chemicals. Employees are always super helpful and friendly. I always go here before the larger home improvement stores.

A great addition to the area. Now I dont have to run to Lowes or HD to get small things during a renovation project. While not a lumber yard they arent a small hardware store either. They have a good selection of tools and materials for most trade jobs. Call ahead to see if they have what you need. Happy to support a local place.

Ive shopped here a few times and was shocked when I was there recently and watched the owner approach a former employee and aggressively and loudly ask him to leave his store. Unfortunately, this isnt the first time Ive seen the owners treat their employees in a very demeaning manner and decided to take my business else where from now on.

2022-05-23I dont Here Often But Today I was in A Hard place when My Ford F-250 Front Brake Caliper Bolt Came Loose and Falling Out Just After Id Rebuilt the Entire Front Right Side I didnt Do my 100 mile Check up and Heres the End Result lol So I went to A Bunch of Auto parts Stores and Not So I went to Bretts True Value in Newburgh on North plant Rd Right Next Too Maximum Fitness....So Mark Who Works there Found What Id needed and Im back on the Road Again.....

2021-02-26Great small hardware store. Treat you like they genuinely care about you. A personal experience that you dont get from the big box stores. Also really like the fact that they employ local youth in the store.

2021-03-31Walked into this store with my younge daughter looking for a spray hose nozzel. Was being followed around the store like I was going to steal something. So we my daughter and I left. Will not spend my money were I am made to feel uncomfortable. Plus their prices were very high.

2021-04-21Excellent store to visit when you dont want to be stuck on Route 300 in traffic going to Lowes or Home Depot. Prices are obviously higher which is why I inquired about a military discount at Bretts. They DO NOT give military discounts. All of the other hardware stores and soooo many businesses in the Town of Newburgh do recognize military discounts. So why not Bretts ?

2019-08-04I’ve found items I needed ASAP and couldn’t wait for delivery. I tried the local Home Depot and Lowes, but this little hardware.store had them in stock! Service is ALWAYS professional and gracious. I will continue to support them to the best of my abilities.
