This was our first visit to Brewery Ardennes, and we did the Saturday Pairing Dinner Experience. The 3-course dinner with 3 matching 10 oz pours was absolutely delicious, and very reasonably priced, especially considering the quality of the meals. The staff was attentive, engaged, and informative without being intrusive. It really was delightful, and Im sure well be back for another pairing experience, or for a more free-form visit. 2 portals!
Good selection of Belgian style beers. Our favorites were the wheat, lager and cherry sour. Service was good for a place thats only been open for a week. Food was really good when we finally got it, was worth the wait. We tried the mushroom toast, ham & cheese croquettes, crab & cheese pretzel and creamy mussels.Hopefully they hire more staff soon and add another register so service is faster.
What a shame. Visited a year ago and the atmosphere was extremely relaxed, the beer was decent, and you could order food from the bar to eat at the lawn seating area. Now you get stopped by multiple people immediately upon entry asking for reservations acting like it will be tough to get a seat when they appear to be at less than half capacity. You cant order anything from the bar now and only get food if you have a reserved table. Too bad because its a beautiful location/building and used to be a great environment to get drinks and sit outside.
Not your typical brewery experience. Staff was friendly as they greeted us and asked if we had reservations. One staff member mentioned that we would be taking seats away from those that had reservations but they sat us anyway There was ample seating on the lawn. You are forced to order through a server from your seat and not allowed to order directly from the bar. We waited for the server in the time we could have gone to the bar and back. The beer was mediocre. And you weren’t supposed to order food unless you had one of the reserved table. I’m sure if I came back and had a reserved table it would have been a better experience.
You must try the three course beer/food pairing menu they just started on Fridays and Saturdays. Im still dreaming of our dinner here last Friday. It was truly an exceptional experience and was one of the best dining experiences Ive had in a really long time. Im already making plans to reserve our next dinner here. Seriously, I cannot articulate how outstanding the beer, food, and service are at Ardennes. Ive also stopped here for beer and mussels/frites a few other times and each visit is top-notch. We are so lucky to have this brew pub in Geneva!
A great place in a quite setting. Remarkable Barn conversion into a brewery & not your normal barn.Nice selection of beer & light food with both indoor/outdoor seating with friendly helpful staff.Dog friendly.Beers are a little pricey at $9.00 a pint compared to the surrounding area, however once seated outside you just enjoy the beauty & tranquility of it all.
The property is beautiful! Everything is clean and inviting. As a dog lover I really appreciated how their pups were incorporated into signs, statues, and even a beer label! We were welcomed with smiles, and friendly small talk- it was the best service we had today. Would recommend to anyone & will definitely be back. Thank you!
Discovered this fantastic establishment today. I had the Dubbel, it was really good. And I dont really like beer! I also tried the Cherry Sour and the Blackberry Sour, very tasty! We also had the Medjool Dates stuffed with goat cheese and wrapped in bacon was a delightful treat. Loved the location, loved the history of the building and also enjoyed meeting the owners. We will definitely be visiting again.
First impression, the building and grounds are beautiful. We had beer flights which include 4 tastings. Great Belgium beer. We tried the hot crab dip with good size lumps of real crab and it was delicious. Our server, Abby was helpful and friendly. I wish I had taken a few pics to post here but it was busy inside and rainy outside. Next time! Update 7/9/21: Went back today and everything was wonderful! My other half had a beer flight and I had the Anthony Road Pinot Gris. We ate the savory mussels and french fries. I know...quite the combination but their food is fantastic. I never knew I needed curry ketchup on my fries! Service is great, we really enjoy this place.
Great beer selection. It’s nice to see a brewery not brewing 5 ipa’s. The beers are delicious. The clarity on the lager, wheat and blonde are impressive for a relatively new brewery. Very clean and crisp tasting beers. The building is awesome as well as the outdoor area. The ambiance is spectacular inside and out. It is dog friendly indoors and out which is a plus. All in all, a very good experience that puts a lot of wineries and other breweries to shame.
A small group of beer enthusiasts visiting in June to sample food & beer & tour the facility. Very impressed! The facility has a true European ambience. General consensus on beer was very good. Solid, true to style Belgian Trippel, Wit, Saison. Also enjoyed the rye pale ale. Food portions seemed small for sharing, but nicely done. Plan to return!
This place was recommended to us by locals. Unfortunately out of all the places we visited the last 3 days this is the only place that required you to show a vaccine card to stay, taste and eat.Very frustrating and we felt judged as lesser patrons. I think we all need to remember even though you are vaccinated you can still spread COVID/have Covid. But to be turned away because we refused to show are cards was rude. It’s no one else’s business if we are vaccinated or not. Also no other places required this.
We have grown up in this area and driven past this house and barn many times. When we learned it had been converted to a brewery we had to check it out. They offer a more upscale brewery experience with a very European atmosphere and Belgian style brews. We also found their food offerings to be diverse and they sounded very tasty likely great at table apps or to make a light lunch from. To cover the beer a bit more in depth, we had everything on their current list and didnt find a beer we did not enjoy, if you like Belgian beer or lighter tasty beer without 18 unnecessary IPAs on tap we reccomend you check them out its something different and done very well. The facility is amazing very well done with lots of room to sit inside and out and really enjoy this historic building. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable and we enjoyed our visit.
I drove from Ithaca to meet a friend who was taking me out for my birthday to have a few beers. We didn’t even make it to the door before we were turned away by a employee who stated they were out of food and couldn’t serve us! This was at 7:20 pm on Saturday this Memorial Day weekend👎 Pretty lame for a holiday weekend 🚨🚨🚨! Maybe some other time? It’s great that there were other breweries around and not turning customers away!
Stepping into Ardennes was almost like stepping into an authentic Belgian brewery. The building and the setting are beautiful & the staff is welcoming. My two gripes are no Belgian bruin ales (they had blonde) and no fritjes, which should be a mainstay at any Belgian-style brewery that serves food, preferably with mayo, maybe alongside frickandel. (And they need a sign from Achel brewery for their collection.)
Great place to taste the best beer in the Finger Lakes, the food is just fabulous and very well paired with their brews. The owners Stacy and Derek Edinger provide the extra special personalized touch to a wonderful experience. Staff and service are A1. I totally recommend visiting Ardennes.

2021-10-05We were looking to try somewhere new and this was a great spot! It is on a county road in a very relaxing setting. The location, facility and the people are a highlight. It is a family run business and the parents of the children who own it couldnt be prouder. Great people that are delightful to talk with, if you want some of the history behind the fantastic setting. They will give you as little or as much information as you want. It is worth reading about on the walls or simply asking them. Their chunk of this beautiful landscape was once part of around a 1000 acres owned by a family that raised sheep. There more, but I dont want to ruin the story. The brewery was part of the barn back in the day and maintains its exterior charm. As for the brewery itself, the family did a lot of research and legwork to make sure they got it right. They brew on premises and have a nice interior space, as well as patio / lawn seating. They do have food items, and the fries are really tasty for a snack! In addition to beer, they had wine as well! Some of the beer varieties were unique. Sample before committing to a full glass (or try a flight).

2022-03-14This place is wonderful! If beer’s not your thing, they also have cider and wine (even wine flights!). The food is amazing, and they have two adorable frenchies that sometimes run around the premises. We’ll definitely come back here.

2021-10-02Fantastic Belgium inspired brewery and bar. Located in an old sheep barn on the outskirts of Geneva, its a true slice of Belgium. Fantastic sour beers - I recommend the cranberry. Friendly bar staff and owners. Food is only served Fri to Sun because of the on going staff shortage. Definitely worth a stop if you are in Geneva.

2021-08-28A fantastic brewery in every way. Atmosphere is stunningly beautiful, inside and out. The beer is great, there’s a large variety and they are all fresh, clean and tasty. Check the Untappd app for details. This is a five star location for atmosphere and beer.

2021-10-11We cannot believe this place was not packet out! The food was exquisite-the best meal I had all weekend in the Finger Lakes. I had the beet salad and stuffed quail and my hubby had the lamb sliders & frites-all phemonal-complimented by the cranberry sour. The building and grounds are stunning and the staff really friendly and accommodating. We will be back!

2022-04-17What a great find! Dog friendly outside...no cover though. Beer is fantastic and my wife had the burger and loved it and I had the Thai mussels. The mussels are the best I have ever had. Split an order of frites that were also amazing. My wife wasnt in mood for beer so had wine instead so can do either. Good service too.

2021-08-28This place is a great find!! The beer is Belgian inspired and the layout is wonderful. When you first walk in, you can have a little history lesson about the building and what it was originally used for and how it became a brewery. The manufacturing of the brew is fully visible and the bar area is like taking a little step over seas.Well worth the trip, not only for the beer and food, but the views too.
