The food provided is good, with decent choices, and a crew of volunteers who want to serve you as you wish to be served.But as a former volunteer myself, I need to tell you about Sue Barncoff, the pantrys co-president manager.Youll see her each day smoking a cigarette on the front porch ; her oblivion to you and your childrens health from her smoke is reflecting a toxic, selfish personal trend from her that is negatively affecting the pantry.My own efforts to stay on have been devalued by her, considered less important than her nicotine habit; as shocking, despite pledging to close at 12:00 and 3:00 each week, Sue insists on shutting down operations Forty Minutes Earlier (!), and will throw away 80 or more pounds of leftover food each day to make it happen!Even when a volunteer, like myself, is willing to collect it Twenty Minutes before closing.So I dont volunteer here any more, and as long as Sue remains a leader here, I will not return.
