Went with my daughter and wife overall the experience was quite pleasant. Parking was a bit of a disappointment but other than that the stores and the employees where very helpful and they had what we were looking for. We stopped at that Starbucks there and it was I guess a little overwhelmed whereas the Chick-fil-A handled the traffic like a champ as did Ikea, the three places we shopped that day.
BFFs were in town for our special-year event & having never been to NY, of course they wanted to hit all the touristy highlights & this included Fishermans Wharf & Broadway CommonsJust the mention & I completely cringe so when they asked, I was like hmmmmmmm, welllllllll, okay; if you *really* want toooooooooPeople all over, bumping into us, cutting us off, hard to walk around - absolute hell
This mall is very nice. I really like it. I really enjoy the food there like their ice cream in Ikea. The movies there are very fun to watch. Also I really like the new pet store. Some stores kind of have overpriced things like clothes. But so far, its pretty good and fun.
WARNING FOR SQUISHMALLOW BUYERS:Beware of fake squishmallows! I unfortunately got scammed and was sold a knock-off. I was super excited to find Carol, the Christmas Tree and bought it instantly. There was only one left in the store so I thought I just got lucky. After cutting off the paper tag and putting it away, I realized that it looked different from my other squishmallows. According to some online forums, the cloth tag should say: Squishmallows squeeze and cuddle me whereas the one I bought only said Squishmallows. Also, the fake says Squishmallows TM whereas the real ones say Squishmallows R. I forgot the name of the toy store, but it was the one next to Potato Corner.
I usually go there because of Ikea. There are many fun locations nearby like Round 1 and the food court. Its getting better but the stores are limited. I enjoyed the food court. There was a taiwanese shop that had real authentic Taiwanese. Cheers Cut. Highly recommend it based on authenticity.
This was my first visit here. It was much smaller than most but still had a variety of stores. Was easy to walk around and nice place to get out the house and stretch your legs. It does have a movie theater too and the little restaurants were all up and running. It was not crowded and I like that but I did go on a Wednesday evening so I don’t know about weekends. There were a couple photo spots too and it was very clean.
My favorite go to place for shopping and some quaint time chilling. The stores here are all very popular and you get great deals and discounts.IKEA is nearby and many eateries too.Lots of parking space and great ease of access as I live nearby! A lovely mall with all quality products to shop.
Has arcade, bowling alley, target, nice food center on top floor and another food center next to bowling. Arcade has lots of crane games and dance revolution/kpop dance games (and David buster games like racing and basteball). Also karaoke, pool, pingpong...lots of others I think.
Very nice. I really liked the arcade, Even though there was a couple of broken games. I also liked the ice cream rolls here very much. Watching the people make the ice cream rolls was very fascinating and pleasant. The only problem is that some of the arecade machines are broken. please fix and or replace the BROKEN arcade machines.
Nice supermarket, fresh produce, fish, meats, etc bakery items, and everything else you expect in a supermarket.. At checkout, your groceries are scanned for you: you then insert your payment (including cash) and receive your cash change without any human contact....looks like the future of all cash transactions. This was to be posted for Stop and Shop Southampton!!
Used the mall to take a walk on a not so great day outside . Lots of stores to window shop at or go in and get something. I remember when it was an open air mall and Gertz was the main store to shop in . Target in mall has great selection of merchandise to choose from and a good supermarket to get staples in .
The place is very clean. Very convenient with Target , Macys, and some other general retails. Ikea is next to it, so you can get most what you want in a shopping mall. The cinema is great, and an arcade on the first floor. I just wish the food court has more diversity. Otherwise, the place is perfect.
Great mall! And the butterfly mural made me very happy. Sadly macys was closed when I went there a few days ago. I love macys hence why I rated it 4 stars. Parking available. Not crowded. Next to IKEA. Theres a food court and other food stands available throughout mall.
The majority of my life has been in this town and I grew up seeing Broadway Mall renovate, get new stores, lose some stores, etc. But at this point, especially considering the renovated theater and all the other new restaurants and gym, Broadway Mall is definitely worth visiting now. I do have to admit one star for their Macys. reason being is that they did renovate a couple of years ago but it was only the facade of the building. The interior of Macys is still very much something from the 90s.
The good thing about this mall is that its not crowded but the downside is that there are not as many shopping options as other malls. If youre looking to head to a specific store I would suggest checking the individual stores hours. The mall is operating on an adjusted schedule and some stores open with the mall at 11 and some at 12. Target opens earlier at 8.
Good old IKEA is in this mall spot. One of my favorite stores of all time. Wish the employees here were a little nicer, but overall its an acceptable establishment;100% opposite the Brooklyn IKEA. Other than the fact its location is in the middle of nowhere long island, this is a decent mall area full of IKEA and many other popular stores and restaurants.
You could barely find a proper department to shop in at this mall. I love the way this mall is set up but its not convenient to move around in the small stores at this mall. I suggest they should expand the space. The mall is very neat and clean though. Its not always crowded, so its fun to take the kids along. We often visit this mall during the weekdays but weekends are not bad either.
Great place for kids.Clean, great selection of shops and safe. Plenty of parking. I love to go here with the kids and let them run around. The indoor playground upstairs is great. The movie theater is convenient and VERY clean and there are so many fun things for kids.
Its big & always crowded on weekends whenever I go. I went to Ikea & love that store! Huge, clean, & awesome.Parking lot is very active & usually full so be prepared to park a little ways from the store & definitely be careful crossing the parking lot street! Cars never want to stop for pedestrians & go through there fast. So PLEASE hold onto your kids when in the lot!!! Please!
Terrible experience at native dreams store. Lady is super unprofessional and disrespectful to customers. Very poor customer experience, you would think that a spiritual minded store would be a safe place for all customers regardless of age or race unfortunately not this location.
Love this mall. Has pretty much any store that u can think of and alot of great places to eat. The only complaint that i have is that the parking lot is like a maze to get out of and pretty easy to get into an accident leaving. Otherwise this place is one of the better malls in the area. Way better than sunrise mall and a close second to Roosevelt field.
Love this mall!! It is very big roomy and beautiful, very clean. Love how it has my favorite stores. After long hours of shopping I usually go to the movies upstairs to enjoy my favorite show. If youre looking for a mall where you can shop and watch movies, this is the place to be!
This mall used to be great. Key word used to. It had lots of shops and the movie theater was really good. Its since declined quite a bit. Macys is closing out, Disney store is no longer there and its pretty baron.I used to like this mall because it wasnt nearly as cramped at roosevelt field but now its kinda deserted.
A very versatile mall with a variety of shops as well as an arcade and a movie theatre it’s a great place to go. I liked how they had updated the mall compared to almost a decade ago where it felt outdated. Currently (2019) the mall looks nice and parking isn’t an issue.
There are some cars machines for kid at the second floor of this mall by food area. , but none of them is on service without any signs letting customers or kids know . But I noticed people are being scammed or robbed putting money on this.I really appreciate if whoever is Incharge of this location. Check on that thank you
Easy to navigate, in the middle of a busy commercial area.I patronize several stores here, most commonly IKEA.There is a parking lot that surrounds the place and has several entrances and exits, and a large indoor parking structure that seems to always have space. I can usually find parking near the store Im interested in.
Classic shopping mall, but one of the more upscale ones in the area. Most markets are pricey and their small stands are random assortments of interesting products. The salt lamp guy is awesome, and his prices are fair. The food court is quite clean, as well as the bathrooms nearby. Quality of food I cannot attest to, but I imagine you get what you would expect from the chains that have storefronts in there.
Clean mall with lots of stuff for kids. A big arcade is here which reminds me of the 80s. By far the best movie theatre in the area is here, especially with recent renovations, and they tend to show stuff at more convenient times than other theatres, but for most youll need to buy tickets in advance because things will sell out.
The game selection wasnt too great. There were a handful of cool games though. About half of the top floor seemed to be gambling type games where you waste credits to try and get tickets. They stop serving individual slices of pizza later at night (which of course is all I wanted). The price for beer is the best part. $2 for a pint.
This place is a sweet deal because you come here, and you notice how spaced out it is because everyone is at Roosevelt Field down the road. Although I will say RF is a better mall overall, this place does have a good amount of stuff for everyone. Left a star out because Ive been there on weekday nights and with empty spaces and almost nobody there its kinda sketchy.
The mall has always been my favorite and I love what they have been doing with the place. New tenants, a new front to the mall and other niceties make this a friendly place to visit without feeling massive and overcrowded. I am here at least once a week to shop, eat and just kill some time with the family. Oh, and Ikea/Target :)
Broadway Commons is a good mall for many. While it certainly isnt the biggest in comparison to Roosevelt Field, it is still a good place to shop at. There are a decent amount of stores ranging from Target to Macys, to jewelry stores and the sorts. It is very clean and easy to get around. This place also has a big arcade similar to Dave and Busters which is really cool. Would recommend if youre nearby and need a place to shop at.
This mall has had a physical makeover in the past few years. Things are cleaner, newer, and super family friendly. There is a huge (multi-floor) arcade with bowling, private karaoke rooms, pool, etc. they have an escape room. Kids stores include Disney, Justice, The Childrens Place, Carters and more.
Nice mall with a lot of variety. Only problem is that the food court is very lame. Super simple food places that are probably all chains. If you need to get something, no matter what it is, you could probably find it here. Pretty simple for a mall but very nice for a quick walk or a nice shopping trip if youre in the neighborhood.
Its a pretty average mall. Upkeep could be a bit better, but its not terrible. Id give it an extra half star if I could because they have an Ikea. The food court is a little sparse, and amazingly the McDonalds that used to be here closed down, which is somewhat worrying. When do those places ever shut down? An OK selection of stores and an annoying parking lot where no one has any regard for your life round out the package.
One of my favorite malls to frequent on Long Island. It could be considered a fun mall - my most favorite movie theater, a food court, bowling ally/arcade, IKEA, Target....you could spend all day here and come back tomorrow with more to do. Upkeep is decent. Totally recommend for a day out or for a day of shopping!
Broadway Commons used to be called Broadway mall when I was a kid, and it was always the mall I preferred over Roosevelt Field and the now defunct Source Mall. It isnt as expensive as Roosevelt Field, has a Target inside of it, a very nice food court and one of the best arcades on Long Island (Round One). The mall isnt as swamped as Roosevelt Field, making it significantly less noisy and messy. I would definitely recommend this mall.
This mall has just a few noteworthy retail brands. Macys is closing and so is the Forever 21. Some other store fronts are already shuttered. Target, H&M, Old Navy, Express Factory, Victorias Secret, Bath and Body Works, Yankee Candle are a few of the stores still open. But the mall seemed more like a dead zone, than a bustling place to shop. IKEA is in the complex, which is a plus.
As of Jan. 2016, theyre making cosmetic improvements to the mall which of course is a good thing. However the mall does not have a variety of high-end stores. The mall seems empty and some of the stores look as though theyre temporarily filling a space to give the appearance of full occupancy. That being said, one can pretty much find whatever one is seeking here. The mall is ideal for quick stop to pick up what you want, but as far an extended stay, the Broadway Mall doesnt have enough stores to warrant it.
Hard to find parking even though they have a parking structure. The stores also seemed very crowded. The anchor stores are good, but for me it was just too crowded with long lines in the stores and compounded with the parking it pretty much made it a place I’d only go if I absolutely had to. I wouldn’t say it was a bad mall, just not for me.
Children play area is awesome on the second floor. Only reason why I cant give 5 stars is because there is no secure gate at the entrance and exit of the play area and I have seen kids running out of it all the time while parents are chasing them. Escalator is by only few feet from the exit. Its like a tragedy waiting to happen. Please install the gate.
I like this mall and it is significantly small than Roosevelt Field. On the plus side, it is harder to get lost. But, on the negative side, there are less stores. There is wifi that I have found basically works everywhere in the mall. The food court always seems the be changing. In the food court, there is a nice small area for children to play.
The Broadway Commons was really nice its a clean place lots of stores the customers and the staff alike are all very nice. There arent a lot of Outlet type places but there are plenty of good sales at really good stores. There is ample parking.. and lots of handicap spots for the people that are handicapped and cannot walk far. They are also always adding new places to eat there must be at least 5 restaurants they have Panera and the wing place which are very good for a quick bite or some lunch. I had good experiences at both places. Its also very centrally located its close to the train as well as other stores nearby that may not be in the Broadway comments but they are close by. Ive been there several times probably more than a hundred and Ive never once had a bad experience.
What I like about Broadway Mall is that its not too crowded and you can find a little bit of everything. I like the fact that a variety of restaurants have opened around this mall so if you dont feel like having fast food after a day of shopping, it is always a big plus to have options around for good food and drinks.
I like the Broadway mall as it is kid friendly. Plus they have my favorite stores which include Target! They also have an array of sit down restaurants such as Buffalo Wild Wings, Panera Bread, Blaze pizza and of course the food court. The mall has a play area, an arcade and an IKEA that also has a kids play area!
So many stores I would never shop at. Has really gone downhill. The food court is lacking in variety - maybe adding a taco or salad place would help. The parking garages stairways were absolutely filthy - covered in garbage. Has anyone ever swept in there?Kept a couple stars in there because I applaud adding noodle company and managing to keep h&m, target.
Such a great plaza to run errands. A Target and Ikea in one place. Nail salon in mall. New food and coffee options for drive through service opening. So convenient. Go early during the week to get great parking at Ikea. Carters, H&M, Macys. Really affordable. Stroller rental in mall.
Know that the kiosks really do map you hip and leave you with a hop along the merry way of shopping here! This is one mall where you can get what you want and you will see shopaholics abound in one form or another! You will know your under the bright lights of this very airy shoppers paradise haven mall when you come here!
In comparison to other malls theres limited shopping. But its a goid mall to bring kids to because theres not that big of a crowd. They have a target, Ikea, and arcade (it has bowling, karaoke, games, pool tables, darts) attached on. They have a parking garage on the Ikea side. The prices at this mall are decent and significantly cheaper in all stores in comparison to Roosevelt field mall.
We love this mall. It is smaller and has fewer stores than Roosevelt Field but it has so much to offer for families, especially with little children. I love that Target is part of the mall because I can do my errands and have the kiddos run around after in the playground upstairs. It has just the right variety of stores (clothing, accessories, shoes, cosmetics, gadgets) as well as eatery options (Buffalo Wild Wings, Blaze Pizza, Panera, On the Border, Arbys, Shahs, Sbarro, Subway, Kung Fu Tea, Cinnabon, Auntie Annes). There is also a Drive Thru Starbucks and Chick Fil A in the mall complex. Round 1 Entertainment has been a great addition to the mall. The movie theater is a bonus and for Ikea lovers, like me, its wonderful having it in the same building! Rarely is it ever super crowded. If you want to shop for big brand names, this is not your place but if you enjoy walking around a mall, having options for kiddos and appreciate a slower approach to shopping, then Broadway Mall is worth visiting!
Nice layout, decent assortment of stores but I feel that Buffalo Wild Wings is the Crown Jewel of this establishment, that should tell you that malls arent on my list I places I like to go. Many of the items here could be found in shops closer to home and probably less expensive. That having been said, 3 jewelry stores, clothes and footwear shops, trendy boutiques, a movie theatre and a Dave and Busters knock off could make this a fun day trip.... did I mention Buffalo Wild Wings? Seriously, parmesan garlic boneless wings......
Broadway mall has gotten so much better over the past years and I see it getting better every time I go back. A lot of us used to go to Roosevelt Field Mall but with Broadway mall getting so much better, we dont need to go that far. There is a wide variety of stores, lots of parking, a great leather seated recliner cinema, a pretty big food court with childrens play area, a large Ikea store and a Macys. Overall I think Broadway mall has a long way to go but its definitely going in the right direction.
The Broadway commons is the 2nd best mall on long Island, 2nd only to Roosevelt field which is in my opinion the best mall in the North East. This is the mall I visit most, its strong suit is everyday items and good location. It has one of 2 chick Filas in NY, the ambiance is very nice in comparison to the Roosevelt field mall which is almost always packed. The mall is certainly lacking on high end brands, however that is a tough issue to tackle. Parking is pretty easy here.

2022-01-02Only went to IKEA in this shopping mall so far and it was an amazing experience. This IKEA has everything you need in terms of shopping for your home, and more! Including an amazing, cheap, and quality food section, sorta like a cafeteria with meals like the famous Swedish meatballs to veg options like plant meatballs, and desserts and coffees which are all reasonably priced. The shopping mall has a huge parking area which seem like will never run out of parking space anytime soon! Overall a great experience in this mall.

2021-12-27Time for some shopping! Convenient and lots of parking space :) right by ikea too! I’ve been coming here to do my online order returns and they have good options of shops, h&m, forever 21, hollister, aeropostale, victoria secret, bath and body works, old navy and auntie anne’s pretzels too 🥨, there’s also a kung fu tea that’s pretty busy. Connected to IKEA so you can spend some time here!

2021-09-26Fairly decent mall with a good selection of stores. Some popular brand-name stores like Victorias Secret, Target, Famous Footwear, etc. Good food options as well such as Panera Bread, Buffalo Wild Wings, Blaze Pizza, etc. Chick Fil A and Starbucks are located outside of the mall and there is plenty of parking available.

2022-05-25Its a very nice, clean, family friendly place, you can get anything you want here, plus youll find movie theater, bowling, food court, massages and a lot of stores. And yet not huge so you wont have to walk too much to access everything in there. I love it. Plus its never crowded.

2022-06-20Nice mall, great skylights let in a lot of sun which is nice. The selection of stores is pretty good as well. Easier to shop here than Roosevelt field - its not as busy, easier to park, etc.

2022-02-07This mall has so many good stores around and inside the location, this for me is a safe haven when it comes to malls. Its always a pleasure to walk around, buy a game or two, buy stuff from Target, get some boba tea, and then hit up the arcade games at Round 1. This mall is the best mall Ive been to in years, the main reason why I look forward to Saturdays. Thank you, Broadway Commons, for changing my day-to-day life

2022-03-19Ive never been in the mall. Love going to Ikea. Lots of great storage options. Furniture is not the best quality but it will last for a while especially if you cant afford Ethan Allen and Pottery Barn right now. Update 3/22. Prices are going up at Ikea. Shop now

2022-06-28I tried to walk the mall during the evening in cool air conditioning, but it seems to be closing earlier than ever. I noticed that the foot traffic was incredibly low

2019-12-07Overall I do like this shopping mall. The shops are affordable and I usually find what I am looking for. My kids love the play area upstairs by the food court. However, the food selection at the food court is not the best. Love Target, never leave empty handed. My children and I love the $1.00 yogurt cones from IKEA, cant beat it for a quick treat. Some stores have closed, like the Disney store and Pay Less shoes, but still some good shops left. Movie theater upstairs is ok, but the bowling located downstairs is horrible. Broadway commons is not bad overall and I do shop there 2-3 times a week.
