Think of your local Chinese food restaurant and you get a good idea. For a take out kind of place the food gets a 7.5 out 10, but the real deal breaker was how long it took (Over 30 minutes). When you consider that I just ordered steamed salmon and broccoli and the place was empty... Thats a really long time.
I ordered delivery when I was working at a nearby school. Order arrived at the school 5 minutes past the latest delivery time, and then the driver sat outside for 20 minutes trying to get me to come to his car. I had to call him back three times before he would bring the order inside. Needless to say, my order was cold.
There good if they want to be. If they put attention n not just throw the meal together they have capabilities of serving A+ meals. Like their jumbo shrimp sometimes there awesome if there cleaned well you know shells n deveined is what im talking about. I get so mad to buy them n they literally still have shella on them n its happened plenty of times but i make a big deal b4 i buy n they do the right thing. So i guess key is tell them exactly how u want ur stuff......... ask them to fry your whole snapper fresh n not 1 that has been pree fried u will be happier trust..........
I have wanted to try this place & checked the reviews. Not good, so I checked the health dept website. Many gross violations !! Plz look it up. Sadly I wont b eating here.
Service was straight forward and fast, waited about 7 mins from order to completion. Neighborhood is a little rough and there is parking available. The place is iconic to some and has been around for a very long time. For the price point its a great fried fish option for that craving! It also came with two pieces of wheat bread which I found confusing haha. Anyways I recommend this spot.
Horrible! Took and extremely long time for my order. Then it was all burned and dry. Never again! I shouldve known cause the smell of seafood when you walk in is Horrible.

Surprisingly good. I had the garlic shrimp and rice. Place is just a hole in the wall, but they offer a wide array of seafood dishes. 🍤
Too bad I dont come here anymore because they make the best seafood food but the service is terrible and the place needs a deep cleaning. It looks and feels greasy and dirty. Not a good smell for seafood.

Im glad I came here because 1) not only do I not eat meat, but 2) I am allergic to shellfish. For some time my friends in the neighborhood had thi splace on their list of new restaurants to try, so after some rescheduling, we agreed to come here on a Monday evening after work.When we collectively decided to not don plastic gloves for the evening, I was pretty glad because of reason number 2 listed above. I ordered the fried oyster basket (which came with cajun fries), steamed veggies, and we shared some calamari.Fried oysters were pretty decent for a good price, the cajun fries satisfied my craving for cajun fries, and the steamed veggies were sufficient and yummy enough to make me feel as if I got enough out of that part of the food pyramid.The vibe of Oceanic Boil is very friendly and mixed: there were families, dates, and groups of friends (like us), and service was also just as friendly. Very happy that this place is in the neighborhood!
Food is terrible. Crab is fake as well as scallops. You should advise customers before selling your food. It is unacceptable.
You might camouflage the store as a restaurant from out side. But its a fish market. It was a restaurant before and now they are doing fish market in a restaurant set-up.
I am from Australia, i see this is not a popular restaurant so i leave good review. u should sell olive garlic bread
Just got a delivery from this fish market starting eating about half way saw flies in the broth i was so damn hungry after a lo g hard day i didnt check the food i was sooo disappointed i didnt wanna eat no more got me thinking what states that fish market could be in probably not even clean DONT oRDER FROM HERE!!!

Broadway fish market scam people i brought some whites when she first weighed it it was $8.99 when they finished cleaning it the bag looked smaller asked her to re weigh it it was $4.78 what the fuc im reporting them dont go there

2022-04-22You can eat in and have your fish cooked to taste, they accept EBT, it is also a supermarket. You can dine while they get your groceries together form your list.Nice concept.

2021-08-14I called and A man picked up today - Saturday at 4:30pm ( 8/14/21 ) and did not want to take my order and said he ran out of French fries, Which is a lie because my wife ordered on another phone and he passed the phone to someone else who filled the order and gave French fries. He is lazy and don’t want to take orders which will cause the business to fail. The owner should fire this man. The attitudes are horrible. It’s better to watch them cook the food in person. Don’t trust them with delivery or pick up

2021-08-24Once upon a time they were great. Lately the rice shrimp soup sucks(ASOPAO) it takes like plain water and no season. Seafood soup tasted salty. And the fried whiting was over cooked and no flavor. whats going on!!!!

2021-12-15There is a supermarket at this location which is connected to the fish market. There is a nasty asian lady that works there so unprofessional. I believe she is the owner or manager. This mini supermarket does not look up to the health code. DONT EVER GO THERE. i wouldnt even try there seafood that they sell. Stay away.

2021-06-14Went there to order some empanadas. While there the servers attitude skink like the raw fish in the restaurant. When I finish ordered I asked if there was a bathroom and she flat said No! As I was waiting, I saw customers going to the back and long behold there was a bathroom. Her attitude did not improve and as I got my food I asked again if there was a bathroom and she said no. Apparently you have to be Spanish to use the bathroom. Will be filing a complaint to Labor dept. The attitude on the waitress was so nasty, and while she ignored me she was drinking with the other customers. Will not recommend this place to my worse enemy.

2020-06-29I ordered a meal with two Mango Snapple. The delivery guy came with the food but with out the two Snapple drinks! I called and told the young lady who answered the phone about what happened and she said to the dilvery guy you forgot the drinks.she then told him to go and bring the drinks to where he brought the last order. She then told me it was coming. A couple of minutes later I got a call that by the time I went to answer it they had disconnected the call. I am handicapped and very sick with cancer and I am not able to run and answer the call. I called back the number and a drunk person answered and said that the lady left and the place is close. I paid for the food and drinks plus I had given a tip. I never got the drinks. I was treated really bad by the delivery person.

2018-11-26This place is so freaking nasty!! Once I walked in the door there was 3 roaches chilling on the booth in front.. I automatically lost my appetite. The person In was with has a strong stomach and loved there fried fish.. but After we sat down and the order came..they even lost there appetite because 3 more baby roaches where on the wall walking around like they owned the place. I dont know but I was told the soup had a roach in there!.. I could not take it after 15 mins.. I was out... please do something about that infestation or you are going to lose your customer that have a strong stomach too!! I gave it one star because I had take out before and is actually good.
