Broadway Plaza in other cities:
I am Mr. alex carrasco. Broadway plaza of Tibbet Brook area in kingsbridge Bronx borough is quaint I like , very much. I have went to aldi , five below , moreover I was at best buy too. I haveof bought a Compaq computer at White plains cross county in spring semester 2002...at best buy. Best buy I like...!
I go to Aldis here, which is a great store for good-quality goods (especially organics) at bargain prices. I also like that the cashiers get to sit down, because really, why should they have to stand? All cashiers in Europe sit, so why not here? Aldis owns Trader Joes, so youll find some very similar products, and then they have this strange aisle of random merchandise that occasionally has some really great items (and sometimes not). If you drive, there is a parking garage, and if you are carless, you can take the subway or a bus (though be aware that many of the downtown subway stops are not open on the weekend due to construction).
Built on the former Stella Doro cookie factory - which ended poorly for the workers after striking. This place is ok. Some great deals at BJs - The wine shop is helpful. Ive eaten at a few of the fast food joints. It would be cooler if there were more local businesses instead of these larger chains that remove money from the community. Local businesses would bring more heart and soul and culture.I think there are a few vacant storefronts still. It would be awesome if the owner found tenants instead of keeping them vacant.I also wish it was more pedestrian friendly. The cars are thick here. The trees in the parking lot are nice, but could use more greenery.
The Broadway Plaza is a relatively small place, though they have some big names like Starbucks, Aldi, Boston Market, Bob’s Discount Furniture, Five Below, TJ Max, Party City, and others. They even have FREE parking, which is a big plus. I love the fact that the mall is not too large. I can go in and out easily because there are no big crowds. The plaza is always spotlessly clean. I’ve only had good experiences there. A must see!
This is a very convenient place to shop. There is wheelchair access and access for persons with disabilities(elevators & escalators) Theres around 5 or 6 different businesses. I shopped at Aldis, 5 below and TJ max. The staff I came across were all very helpful and friendly. I was able to find most of what I was looking for.
Ive been coming to this little location for years and its my go too for my weekly food shopping at Aldi that have just about the best prices and quality goods that beat out the competition plus whats better theres a tjmaxx on the next level and they have some great deals there kinda like Marshalls.
Theres alot of stores here but I go to do my food shopping. Great deals n fresh produce. I always save money when I go to there so Im a loyal food shopper n only buy healthy foods such as fruits, veggies n different juices. Theres a free parking lot for customers only which is a plus.
Has a nice collection of stores that I usually like to frequent. Unfortunately, the F21 RED store that used to be on the 2nd floor is no longer open. Five below, Tj Maxx and occasionally Aldi hits the spot for when you want a quick shopping trip just to indulge. If you want a drink you can grab one at Starbucks on the outer portion of the plaza
Shopping centers are norms nowadays. This one has plenty of variety but nothing spectacular. Parking is rough but they do have a free lot underneath the shopping center. Stores: Aldi, Bobs furniture, five below, party City, forever 21, tj Maxx, Auntie Annes pretzels, and Boston market.
It is one of my favorite places to shop at. There are only about 7 places there (TJ Maxx, a Beauty Store, A clothing store, A furniture store, Five Below, Aldis, and Auntie Annes pretzel shop. I mostly visit Aldis. Getting a shopping cart sometimes is a hassle. But its a nice environment.
The location of this mall is very convenient since it’s right under the 1 Train station- where many locals also reside. I do wish there’d be more stores though; this would attract way more customers. The stores in the mall are Five Below, Forever 21, TJMaxx, Aldi, Party City, Bobs Furniture & Auntie Annies. The stores surrounding it are Starbucks, Blink Fitness, AFC Urgent Care, Carter’s, Snipes’, The Vitamin D & Boston Market .
Convenience, convenience, convenience. Competitive prices, one stop shopping for savy shoppers like myself. Nice promenade leading to the entrance of the mall, facing Broadway where you can take the air, sit and relax before or after shopping, bring your own lunch, people watch, meet or be greeted by others and contemplate the monies saved on your visit there. Theres a Boston Market with yummy ribs and chicken, a Starbucks, A TJMaxx, an Aldis Supermarket, a Bobs furniture store, an Auntie Annes Pretzel shop, a Party City, a Five Below store, a Forever 21 store and to add the finishing touches, there is also a Feel Wig&Hair Works Beauty store.
Great plaze, but the security fallow you almost everywhere when you park your car to see if you leave the plaze and call you the tow truck and tow your car when the plaze has restaurants on the outside. The tow truck vompany its own buy one of the security, and the others security get comission for each car get towed.
My aunt is a frequent patronizer of the stores in this mall until recently. WARNING TO WOMAN WHO GO HERE ALONE AND HANDICAPPED PERSONS. On her last visit, my aunt who just had knee surgery and had a cane made a much needed trip to Aldi. She purchased her items and when she went back to her car she noticed that it was missing! Security claimed that she had left the mall. What they did was see that she was alone and looked to be not going to a store in the mall and trailed behind her to tow her car when in reality she going to a nearby trashcan. The mall security was of no help and NOT in uniform! Instead of aiding in the situation, he stood there with his hand on his taser and a smug look and the other men surrounding my aunt, all not in uniformed just yelling at my aunt who has a cane. If she did not come out when she did her car would have been gone and there would have been no notice and noone whose associated with the mall to help. Hopefully this has not happened to anyone else and WILL NOT because of this post. Ladies be alert if you are parking here and handicap persons, please be prepared to have no assistance from security. And to other patrons BEWARE they are towing cars of mall patrons claiming they are not in the store.
Nice place to go shopping, is better to go by public transportation specially weekends, the front entrance where they have benches is just be smoke free area, i think is designe smoke free, but people go there to smoke and when you have children with astma sitting out there enyoing an icecream or whatever, thats when somebody comes to disturb you moment.
Broadway Plaza is a mini mall in the Kingsbridge neighborhood of the Bronx. There is a mish mash of stores in the mall: Aldis, 5 Below, TJ Maxx, Party City and a few others. There are no stores here that make this mall a MUST VISIT, but if you need some party supplies or clothing in a quick visit, stop in and you might find what you need. The parking is messy. On the weekends go early but overall its ok. If you live in the neighborhood, check it out! If you dont, you arent missing anything. Go elsewhere!!
Everything you may need is there, one thing though, Boston Market, I always wanted to go there, I was disappointed, burning chicken, macaroni and cheese with bad taste like was old and I will even talk about the service, my grandmother used to say if you dont want to work on something dont do it, work in something you like because you will do it with love, I will give it an extra year before they close it, and to the owner, go under cover to your business.

2022-01-08Ive been coming here since they open this mall. Its a great location and well needed in the neighborhood. My favorite spot is Aldis. Their food is way cheaper than any place else but their quality. Quality if you buy their name. Brand prices are superior than some items you get at regular supermarkets. Its a plus to parkings free. Get here early because it does get crowded over the weekends

2022-05-29.This plaza is cool but nothing like the mall at co-op MACY mall but nun the less its good for what it is, they need to add something else to attract more people.
