Bronx Honda Zerega Avenue is very professional and goes beyond expectations. My car battery was replaced a few months ago, and it would not keep its charge. After a few jump starts needed, I took my CRV to the service center, and they diagnosed the problem quickly. My service advisor, Victor, explained everything in detail and kept me updated on the status of my vehicle. Ultimately, they found a manufacturer flaw in the new battery and had it replaced immediately. The service center explained why the battery would not hold its charge and that it was covered under the Honda warranty. Wait time was very quick since I was there at 8 AM. I recommend this service center highly. I visit this one rather than the Honda service centers near my house. They are the best!
I went to Bronx Honda Service center on zerega ave on Dec 16th . I asked the lady named Yesenia for 3 things. First that when I accelerate my car it feels like the car is loosing power . I have been seeing low mpg as well . 2nd i asked her to check the brakes also cause when i brake the car also shakes . I also asked her to change the oil cause i had a maintenance sign and all they did is reset the maintenance sign and gave the car back to me today morning saying the car has no problems . I took the car to a different place where i have a friend and he checked all the brakes for me and found out that all Brakes And Rotors are done . Also the oil needs to be changed urgent . This is the type of service i received .
Went here a few days ago. Customer service was terrible. All of the reps were playing on there phones the whole time I was there and taking personal calls. They claimed they worked on my car but I’m not so sure that was the case. Since they did an “oil change” my car has been leaking oil. I checked my oil and there’s not even a drop in the engine. My car was making extremely loud noises since I went to Bronx Honda. They didn’t even inform me about my tire alignment, they just left a print out in the passengers seat for me to find after I left. They claimed to rotate my tires but there all in the same position. And every time I call they either put me on hold until I hang up or they don’t pick up at all. I was transferred to the manager the first time I called and it got sent to voicemail. Worst service I’ve ever had.
This has been the worse experience ever. I received a letter stating my car had a recall, I called as soon as I got it to make an appointment and they told me there is nothing available until July 1st. My recall is for a fuel pump which to me seem pretty important. As days went on I noticed one of my lights turn on, I took my car as a walk in because the car was notifying me to keep the car parked. They told me they do not know when they’ll be able to fix my car as they are short staffed and I did not have an appointment to begin with. In the website it CLEARLY state if your engine light turns on please come in as a walk in. What is the point of that if they are going to just keep my car parked until they have time to fix it. I understand there are other cars who issue is important but I think with it being a “recall” it would get some type of priority. I am so unhappy and upset I decided to get a Honda car because this experience has been horrible. Please think twice before choosing to go here for any type of maintenance or get the car to begin with.
I would like to thank Yesenia for her excellent customer service with me. She was very kind, anytime I had a question she answered it with a smile and when went above and beyond to make my wait time tolerable. Although she was very busy, she would check to see if my car was ready and that really meant alot to me. Thank you so much for your excellent customer service.Kaaren S.
I’m very disappointed HONDA makes great vehicle but customer service sucks very rude, extremely un-professional it’s insane, I walk in ask my oil to be change & this lady at the front said okay it’s going to be 59.99 then I said I have a lease & I get free oil changes. She said okay you need an appointment(IN A RUDE MANNER). Like really HONDA that’s what you do to your customers now Giving us a hard time.
Brought my car here for a check engine light, they had found that rodents had eaten my car engine wires. Very pleased with the service. Only problem is I got one price over the phone and when I got there it was $100 extra just make sure they give you CORRECT FINAL AMOUNT CHARGE FOR SERVICE!
Excellent Service. I had my honda accord 2016 of which the day time running light was not working for passenger side. They check if this fix covers the warranty. They fixed the car with in an hour. If you have anu questions they are more than welcome to answer those for you.
I took my vehicle in regarding a recall! I called before going and was advised that they were doing recalls on my 2019 honda passport! Got to the service center and I was advised that there were no recalls on my vehicle! I advised that I had an email regarding a recall for the above listed vehicles fuel pump! I was no happy that I had to make a unnecessary trip when I called before going! Customer service was poor and why arent there any Blacks in this location doing customer service?
They never answer they’re phones, and they always at their desk. they all have the same voicemail box that’s full. They charge you with out even making sure the car is ok or getting fixed. They don’t even give you a loner car or help with a rental if your car is messed up…
Worker was really nasty, had a attitude and didnt want to do her job. just tried to push me into getting the most expensive package for my car without going into the system to find out I already had it although I asked her more than once to go I to the system and find out what I need. made me a useless appointment, wasted my time and rudely suggested I can leave without getting anything done. disgusting.
Had to take my car in for a factory recall. Scheduling my appointment was quick and simple. The day of was even better. It wasnt crowded and I was taken care of right away. I left my car there, did some errands and picked it up later that evening; though it was ready for pickup within 3 hours.
They give you the run around you bring your car in for one thing and they always talk to you about other possible issues never talk about the actual issue why you are there for. Another issue is they never pick up the phone. I’ve called and waited on the land line for the parts Dept for someone to assist me for more than 20mins plus minutes. This location has very poor customer service. Won’t go back to this location. Great way to be treated when you are making a big investment into a vehicle.
Im extremely disappointed in the customer service I received today. I was there about a month ago or so and a young lady by the name of Yesenia helped me. Very pleasant and helpful. And actually because of her, I made an appt to come back today for more service to be done. However, today, the experience was horrible. Upon entrance and speaking to the man that I am assuming was in charge of handling my issue. He spoke to me a manner of sarcasm and was condescending. I walked out of there without any service done to my car and basically I was indirectly told I should learn how to change my own tire and put on a spare. Perhaps then, I would have been respected a customer. From beginning to end, the customer service was horrible and Im extremely disappointed. I left without any work being done. I even said so Im wasting my time here and his response was basically. What upsets me the most is that I was willing and ready to pay what needed to be done but I didnt feel welcomed or encouraged to want to spend a dollar here. Work on your customer service skills. Thank you for wasting my time.
I was send here about a month ago because my new 2021 honda accord brake locked up and the car wouldnt move and as they fix that problem they also broke all the clips on steering wheel plastics they also scratch my door and my bumper and now am basically chasing them to fix it and all i keep hearing is that the parts are coming but they in back order its been a hole month and nothing on the partsi dont think its right that i have to drive my car that new with only 3,000 miles with a mess up steering wheel because they couldnt be careful or was distracted even probably rushing
My dad took his Honda CRV for regular maintenance and they cracked his windshield and refused to investigate the situation. They told him that he broke it and was dismissive. He asked the manager to check their cameras and reports and they simply refused to do so. In addition, after contacting Honda customer service directly we were told that the windshield isnt covered by warranty. What is mind-blowing is that this is not a warranty related issue. Their service department cracked his windshield and is refusing to fix it. I truly dont understand how businesses like this still operate. This Honda CRV was purchased at this dealer and we have recommended many to shop here, which we will never do again. Take your money elsewhere, where you will receive better service. If you are in the Bronx, consider buying a Subaru at Milea Subaru. Their sales department and service department are great.
I was there 2/14/2020Im extremely disappointed in the customer service I received part DP told me to ask the question to mechanics regarding my needs, and Spanish lady in the right side at the entrance door was so rude unpleasant and as I ask if I can talk with the any of the mechanic. actually because of her, I did not made an appt to come back for more service to be done. However the experience was horrible. Upon entrance and speaking that lady I am assuming was in charge of handling my issue. She spoke to me a manner of sarcasm and was condescending. I walked out of there without any service done to my car and basically I was indirectly told I should know not to ask before work is done to my vehicle?. Perhaps then, I would have been respected a customer. From beginning to end, the customer service was horrible and Im extremely disappointed. I left without any work being done. I even said so Im wasting my time here and her response was basically. What upsets me the most is that I was willing and ready to pay what needed to be done but I didnt feel welcomed or encouraged do business there.Or want to spend a dollar there. Work on your customer service skills. Thank you for wasting my time also why no one answer the phone at all there?.
I took a family member’s 2010 Civic in for an oil change. As per the owner’s manual and oil cap, 2010 Civics require 5w-20 oil. The service advisor (VM) told me the required oil is 0w-20. I reminded the service advisor that the 2012 models began taking the 0w-20, not the 2010 models. This can be confirmed by looking at the oil cap, but he said Honda placed the wrong cap on the car lol. To make matters worse, he refused to call out to me in the waiting room because he could not pronounce my last name. I had to walk up to him and ask if the vehicle was ready. His excuse for not calling out for me was because he did not see me (sitting in the front row). Bronx Honda mechanics are great, but the service advisors are in need of customer service training.
Went here to order and pickup simple parts for oil and filter change, waited over an hour outside. Life now with this pandemic is already complicated and stressful and its my opinion the poor work being done here is just adding to the stress.By saying that your counter men work very hard which was not what I saw says to me that you have concluded your investigation. It translate to poor service when you have a line outside and guys are milking the time and joking around while people are waiting long periods of time outside to order and or pick up parts. When I mentioned do you guys know that there is a long line out there, I was told that they just have to wait, check your videos at about 11:30. At the end of the day believe what you must and do as you wish because I certainly will not be returning.
I had the pleasure of working with Rosemary this week and she is AMAZING! She was very professional and called me several times to keep me up to speed about my vehicle. I also worked with Victor who is a rock star and another gentleman (I feel bad because I didnt get his name) he was so polite and made me feel welcomed when I handed him the keys to my car (He had two braided ponytails). Thank you Guys !
Ive been coming here for 2 years only because its close to me. Totally unprofessional, very unreliable and unaccommodating. They never answer phone calls, and you have to schedule weeks ahead of time to be served even when its an emergency about safety. Also be prepared to come out of pocket!
Ive been servicing my,CRV for over a year and never had an issues. The Representative (Rosemary) great customer experience and reliable. The waiting area is clean as are the facilities. The sitting area may be considered small, but it will accommodate all who enter.I would advise all to make an appointment prior to going in for service.
One star is too much !!! They are the worst. I made an appointment on a Saturday morning got there at 11:20am waited for 3 hours for a simple oil change. I decided to go and ask about my car cause I was waiting for sooo long and they didn’t even know where my paperwork was, or who worked on the car. The car was done a long time ago, not even an apology was given, The only thing one of the receptionist said “we’ll just check her out and let her go” in her way. The worst service!!! *Zero* stars for Bronx Honda Service Department and the help I received.
The people that work here are pleasant. They are busy you can hardly get to finish a telephone conversation and theres is too long a wait to get a part. The prices are high for something as simple as a bulb for a brake light or a tail light. These bulbs used to cost .50 each now cost something like $9.
The people who work here are incredibly rude and not helpful. The only friendly person was the guy who parked my car when I arrived. I assume by the attitude I received they were upset I had an appointment for 4:00pm and they wanted their day to be over. As soon as I got in a woman told me I had to come back tomorrow earlier in the day. I told her I had made an appointment and she said “ok just wait there for someone then.” I needed a new compressor for my leased Honda Civic but they wouldn’t service my car unless I signed a contract stating I would pay the $300.00 even though my car was a lease. The man who was checking me in said the damage was probably caused by me hitting a pothole and thus my fault. Seemed fishy to me so I brought my car to Lia Honda in Brewster (45 min away) and they said that service was covered under my lease warranty. Was Bronx Honda scamming me? It seemed like it. Never returning. Also the place smelled like Chinese food.
Very professional very personal and nice stuff overall quick great professional well done service this place is well kept clean convenient social distances and dont get me started on the coffee they have great coffee try to like it I would recommend this place to everyone who owns a Honda
This place was busy at the time I got there, but they were amazing. I went for routine maintenance and dropped my car off at the bay. Upon entering the facility, Nat helped me and he was courteous and explained the entire process. It took about half an hour with an appointment which I strongly recommend be adequate through the website. It was an absolutely painless experience. Now, Ill only come here for servicing.
The service in general, is the worst. I had paid for the 120,000 service and they didnt do the all things it was supposed to be done. And when I came back not to complain, just to ask them to adjust the emergency brake, they try to charge me another $200 and that was included in the package that I paid for. So a regular mechanic charged me just $30. By the way, I have proof!!!!👎👎👎👎
I’ve been here twice so far to get a tire change and each time has been pleasant. I usually go to Kevin and he is very professional and kind! During the week , it’s usually a short wait but on a Saturday it’s busier so it’s best to just drop your car off in the morning and come back later to pick it up.
I was sideswiped by someone and just needed someone to give me an estimate on my vehicle, which was purchased at a different Honda Dealership. They turned me away, refusing to touch my suv simply because I didnt purchase my car from their location. I even let them know I have Honda Car Care...just in case that may sway in some way but it didnt help. First time Id ever had such a negative experience at a Honda Service Center. When I make my next vehicle purchase I will make sure to avoid this place like the plague.
First experience was horrible zero customer service. There process ctr is horrible you walk in and no greeting you stand there clueless what you do. Went a second time for convenience and give it a second try nope same thing I actually stood at the door way for 3 mins while one of the rep was on her phone, when she was done she called me over and didn’t greet nothing. There will not be a 3 time... I rather travel than deal with this..
I came to Bronx Honda because my rim was cracked and needed a new one. After waiting for 2 hours I was told by the service agent that my part was not in stock and needs to be ordered. Being that it was Friday (8/16) I had to wait until Tuesday (8/20) for the part to arrive. On 8/20 I was expecting a call from service agent to let me know that the part has arrived and my car can be serviced, however, this was not the case. I had to place two calls until was finally able to get in contact with my agent service and was told that the rim was in and car was ready to be service. Upon taking my car it took 4 hours for me to get my car park. Now I understand that my form of payment was through my insurance, which they can sometimes be slow, but I felt that the service agent did nothing on their behalf to reach out and check on the status. It took for me to personally call my insurance to then be told by them that the payment method was emailed to my service agent and they just need to process the payment. PLEASE DO A BETTER JOB ON CHECKING UP ON YOUR COSTUMERS AND BETTER ASSIST THEM IN ORDER FOR THEIR PROCESS TO BE ONE OF GOOD SERVICES BUT ALSO SPEEDY.
Horrible. I came from Va, had my car vandalized. I went to their shop for repair. The lady yesenia said it will take 1.5hrs. I was there for 5hrs and no one was able to give us update even the ones who meet us there left us there. Is very horrible. The mechanic were nice but the lady at the desk not friendly.
I can never complaint about Victors customer service but one thing I will say about this new service by appointment that started July 1st 2018 as per the rep emails went out whatever happened to mail? Emails are never guaranteed so Im here at 6:22am wait an hour to get told I can get service but I will have to have patience, Ive been a Honda owner for 12yrs and this is by far the craziest thing Ive ever heard of. FYI: Victor has always been the best service rep....
I made a 0730 appointment at 1133 Zerega Avenue Honda dealer in the Bronx. I arrived on time for my appointment. My appointment was to get an oil change, replace front brake pads/rotor, and wheel alignment. It is not almost 3 pm in the afternoon and I still have not received my car. Almost 8 hours waiting to get my car serviced. I’m highly dissatisfied with the service here and I believe it should not take 8 hours to get serviced. I hold Honda to very high standards. I want my next car to be a Honda however that will change due to horrible customer service. So disappointed beyond belief. I wanted to share this experience with you so you can change and boost your customer satisfaction. Unfortunately this is the end for me.
On 8/1/19, I dropped my car off at the service center and didnt get my car back until 8/9/19. They had to order parts and supposedly my car was fixed. When I turn my car on the TPMS light was on and this is one of the parts that they supposedly fixed! When, I go back in I was told the part was on back order. This is the worst customer service that I ever experienced. To make matters worst I had to return to the service department on 8/10/19 because my car started to Shake and the check engine light was back on. Do you guys know what you are doing?
Two words to describe this place. THE WORST! From the moment you go in to check in your car for service to the moment you sit with a service advisor . First off, the customer service skills here are atrocious! You stand there to be acknowledged and the girls that sit in the front are having personal conversations from across the room and dont even look your way. They make believe you dont exist. Took my car here in response to a recall that entailed a software upgrade and 2 days later the whole radio-navigation unit blew. I took it back and the service advisor took my car in not promising when my car was going to be diagnosed because the mechanics on board were not trained for these type of computer issues? Honda builds these cars and cant fix them? And their personnel arent properly trained? What a shame! It was left overnight on a Friday and Saturday afternoon, if I didnt call to follow up, I wouldnt find out that these mechanics supposedly couldnt find the problem. I had to go and sit with the mechanic and show him what was going on. Afterwards, I was told to take my car and that they were going to call me when they bring a same exact model and car from the dealer to test my radio? That at the moment there was none in the inventory. That was on 2-18 and still no courtesy call. Had to walk in my car to Honda of New Rochelle where I was told that Bronx Honda FRIED my whole radio unit while performing my upgrade. Smh. Luckily they were professional enough to get me a loaner until the problem was resolved. The car is still being serviced and a new radio unit will be installed. I would never service my car here again. These people here are very unprofessional.
Try to avoid Derrick as much as you can.. let others skip you if it means not having to deal with him.I got there at 7:30am on a Tuesday morning for diagnostic due to a failing steering pump. I have BT synced on my phone with my car and noticed when the mechanic moved the car to run diag. That was around 8:15 which I didnt mind, the place was full so early in the morning. What bothered me the most, I would see the female advisors one by one, address their clients, not once did I see Derrick move from his desk. I got up a few times to speak to him and see what was going on, but conveniently he would get up and walk away. Finally at 1130am, I asked him what was going on and hes so slow, he claimed he forgot to finalize the work and had to dig through a mountain of paperwork to find my car. Finally told me I had to get the pump replaced. Once we settled on getting the work done for the following day, he couldnt operate the tablet to get paperwork started. He told me to bring the car Wednesday morning at 730 and It would be serviced while I was at work.Wednesday morning I bring the car in, I am the second person he sees and couldnt remember where he put my paperwork. He kept apologizing and saying he needed to wake up.( Really unprofessional) said he will call once it was ready. 2pm comes around and still no call on something that should have taken 2-3 tops. I had to speak to a female advisor and she couldnt locate my car because Derrick failed to update the system same as the day before and she had to speak directly with the mechanic. Finally at 230, she confirmed it was ready. Why have someone who clearly does not want to work and doesnt know half of what hes doing. I am paying to have my car serviced. I dont have time to waste waiting all day, people have to work and appointments to get to. Everyone else was great. Avoid Derrick!!
Bad customer service, without respect for ur money. Also very expensive and deceitful deal. Please dont deal with honda, u would do better by getting Chevrolet, GMC @nd possibly Toyota.Especially honda dealers, never have parts as Chevy, at the end of the day they wont tell you what the issue of the vehicle is until they suck all your blood.
I will write about my today’s experience. I went there on a Saturday at around 4pm while they were suppose to close at 5. I arrived exactly at 4 for an oil change and heard they were not taking any cars because they have started cleaning. I was disappointed and had to go back without changing the oil. Came back on Tuesday and I was helped by Kevin. He remembered me coming that day and gave me a 40% off on my oil change without even asking. I was pleased with the service. I would have given a 3 star for my overall experience but this visit made me change that. Thanks again Kevin!
I understand for certain things(oil change, minder reminders) you need an appointment, but for things like a battery sign, you cant wait a whole week. If my car shuts down in the middle of the road because of the battery, who am I to go to? This is Bronx Honda Service, where cars are serviced. The quality of service has gone down tremendously. Getting an oil change, and the tech forgot to close tightly the engine oil knob. I have a strong feeling that they dont test anything in the complimentary multipoint inspection. How can a dead battery be fine a day before it actually dies out? Things dont add up and there is so much secrecy to their operation. Only they know what is being done to the car and we only know what they tell us. This system needs a revamp to update their techs all the way to the management level. The prefer oil changes to actually service of cars. They are only good for oil changes. Thats where they make most of the profit from I guess.
Ive been going to Bronx Honda for over 10 years to get my car repaired. Always quick service. On my last visit when I had more expensive problems that I had anticipated, the service manager was able to work with me to reduce the bill which was greatly appreciated. After reading the other reviews, I do think the customer service is sometimes uneven, but there are people there who are fantastic and friendly (one of the service men (a Hispanic gentleman whose name I forget, but hes great); the cashiers; one of the mechanics). An added bonus is that its walkable from the 6 train, which makes dropping off and picking up convenient.
Scheduled an appointment through the HondaLink app for my first maintenance minder. Staff is friendly and everything went smoothly. It seems fairly busy but wait time was reasonable. Wait area and overall place is clean, directions clearly labeled. Overall great experience.
Excellent service. Everyone from the parking lot to the customer service representatives are outstanding!! They go above and beyond there duties to make sure that the customers feel welcome and get the beat of service. Last time, I was received by Victor and I couldnt asked for any better person to deal with. AWESONE SERVICE!
The service was as anticipated. Was told an hour, took two. The waiting area was loud. I was told there were 7-8 concerns (which were hand written) but when I received my final invoice there were three minor issues mentioned. When I questioned customer support she responded oh those are the only ones that you have. I accepted the response. Afterall, its Hondas leased vehicle. Im only borrowing and I do my part to take care of things I borrow, they are expected to do the same for their assets.
Everyone was nice and friendly and the oil change on my car was quicker than I expected, everything was good except for the representative on the counter. She got a little stressed just cause I asked what I was on the paper I needed to sign. She claimed you just need to sing! which was a stupid answer for a costumer service representative. Everything was ok except for this.
I love rosemary, she is the best but unfortunately today I went to check my vehicle because of a noise that happens when it drives on the highway, my vehicle is a 2017 pilot under 30000 miles under warranty, my service advisor was Robert, I explained the problem to the man, indicated that my vehicle is under warranty, I rode my car with the mechanic, without checking under the hood, the mechanic said that it could be the tires, without checking the tires we went back to the Bronx Honda service, told the service advisor, Robert, that the problem are my tires, this mechanic did not bother to check anything, Robert told me that it would 630 dollars to change all four tires, I felt discriminated and humiliated due to the lack of service and professionalism from the service advisor and the mechanic. Im to Bronx Honda tomorrow and return this car back to Honda. No more Honda for me, horrible service and professionalism.
As soon as I entered the Lot ..My positive energy level drained some points!!.. When I entered the initial service process I was greeted with unwelcomunw low energy Staff members who look Miserable!!Although their Diagnosis Price was $ 135. I declined their appointment for Friday and chose to service my car at a better friendly Positive Vibe Environment!! Regardless the $189 diagnostic price!! YONKERS HONDA by far beats the competition in Customer service satisfaction!!
These guys ripped my 77 year old father off! He has a four month old Honda. When the weather dropped to 10° about a month ago the car would not start. Had the car towed to this place and that’s when the fun started. They charged my father $700 for what they were claiming was “ bad gas”. They said it wasn’t covered by insurance and then he received an invoice saying that the gas tank was drained and refilled. Two weeks later weather dropped to below freezing again. Again, the car would not start. I called the Honda corporate office and also Bronx Honda who said we had to bring the car back to this scam of a place. The next day my father received a phone call and they were claiming that yet again he had “bad gas” from another gas station. I went to speak to the manager and myself and his claim was that the first invoice was incorrect and that his guys never actually drain the gas out of the tank and that my father was charged that money for the service he received I’m not really sure exactly what that service was. He claimed that the second time around they did drain the gas and that they took the gas tank out of the car and cleaned it out. At this point we are waiting for gas to come back from the I went to speak to the manager myself and his claim was that the first invoice was incorrect and that his guys never actually drained the gas out of the tank and that my father was charged that money for the service he received I’m not really sure exactly what that service was, but lying on an invoice is called fraud. He claimed that the second time around they did drain the gas and that they took the gas tank out of the car and cleaned it out. At this point we are waiting for gas to come back from the lab they are claiming they sent this bad gas to. We were told it may take a very long time to receive these results. This whole story is such nonsense. Stay away from this place. They will scam you out of your money and not resolve any issue. We still don’t know what is wrong with the car and my Dad is not confident that his new car will start on any given day.
If you value any semblance of customer service, or service in general, avoid this Bronx Honda. I had my car taken in for simple repairs, and had mentioned on the first day that it was urgent I get my car back as soon as possible, in response my customer service representative told me that they would call me as soon as they knew what was wrong with the car. After an entire day without a phone call, I had to call them FOUR times to realize what was wrong with the car. Once I finally reached them, they told me what was wrong and also that they had ordered parts without my consent. When they told me about the parts they said they would call once the car was ready. Another day went by without a phone call and I had to call them another FIVE times, each time telling me that they were on lunch break (for 4 hours). Finally I got through to my representative who told me that they had ordered the wrong parts, and that it would take another day for the parts to come in, let alone the labor, which would have taken another day. After all of this I picked the car up brought it to another dealership. Within 45 minutes they got back to me with the diagnostic and with a REQUEST to buy the parts. My car was ready in a single day.If you want your car back without being dragged around by incompetent and incredibly unprofessional people, dont take your car to Bronx Honda Service and Parts.
Covid must have hit this dealership hard. No one answers the phone and they refused to schedule a service appointment. I wish I was joking when I say this dealership is the standard honda experience. Terrible, terrible, terrible. I made a mistake and regret everyday I bought my honda. Wish I could rewind time and I rather ride a bike then deal with this company.
After my last service i refuse to go service my wife car ; i had a very horrible experience the lady that helped me was EXTREMELY rude she was on the her personal phone having her personal conversation and completely ignoring my needs and attention i deserved as a PAYING customer ! i went today and saw the same thing from the same lady that helped me last time on her personal phone cussing so i refuse to work with her and went to the next lady yessenia next to her she was very pleasant very attentive and friendly. she paid attention to my needs and i will continue to go back. as a paying customer we deserve all the attention especially if we putting money in your company’s pocket. FIVE STARS YESSENIA !!! btw i was out quicker than expected which was great especially on halloween.
I wish that for the price we pay to do a simple oil charge we can get the car wash like every other places including toyota because $60.00 dollars is a little highThe cashier womens they need to be more alive because went you come and see those machetes faces make you think do I want to come back here, also check the car when you come and leave to make sure is fine i had an incident before and the retail guy in the front tried to blame me for the problem I found but later on find out it was not me but dashcam everyone is a good tool, they see the phone ringing never pick up. dont ask any questions to the guys that get you car outside they not mechanics the rest so far is great they let you know the problems on you car they take a little long to do the job but is always better long run the short and done. Change you customer service and share more information and a 150.00 just to told you what the problem is damn thats crazy
Called 10 times two days in a row. You would think someone would answer the phone. So I finally got off the phone with someone after three days worth of phone call . Only to be told that they do not offer a courtesy vehicle. So I guess I have to drive from queens to the Bronx then cab it back to queens and then cab it back to the Bronx when the repairs are done. Very convenient I must say 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
This place is ok. After reading all these reviews. I thought about my most recent visit there to get my car serviced. They had a check list and it was all green. Meaning everything is good including the brakes. 3 months prior I had went to Yonkers Honda and to get my car serviced and they did the same check list for me. It showed that I would need new brakes soon. Most likely on my next visit. I hadnt changed the brakes changed since the 3 years I had it. 30,000 miles later Bronx Honda still gave my brakes a green mark. Something doesnt seems right. I will have to review all my checklist from all the times I have been there. The place is not bad. I seen some of the staff being rude at times towards myself and other customers over the years.
Went in today with no appt, my new 2018 accord had no ac, was blowing only warm air. John Ross, the service manager, informed me it would be difficult to promise anything due to the amount of work and the fact i had no appt but took time to check my car. Long story short, my car just needed a ac recharge and he made an appt for next week to verify the repair and do an oil change. i am now driving away with my ac working perfectly. Did not expect this level of service but i am truly appreciative and wanted to give John a shout out! thanks again!
Fast and courteous service! My truck was finished before time given! Clean bathrooms, comfy sitting area, they also have a quiet sitting room where I watched movies on my tablet! Yes they have free WIFI! Refreshment area clean and tidy! Thanks for taking care Ruby Dee!
They rarely pick up there phones Ive had to travel over to there facilities to get answers to simple questions or to make an appointment. Im also upset that I was given 6 free oil changes when I purchased my car and everytime I use it I find myself having to come back for another oil change less than a month later. I went to my mechanic did my oil change there and didnt have to go back for another oil change until my miles reached the next oil change requirement. I suspect that because the oil change is free they may not be filling up the oil tank fully.
I went to have my 2018 Honda Accord to be checked out by a specialist. Paid them over $2500 dollar my car still has engine sign on. They suggested I change the breaks and tires still have the same issue. Went back to the same specialist he was very rude and didn’t want to help. The worst rip off ppl don’t ever buy Honda worst car ever worst place to be. Rosemary is the service specialist she is the worst. Very rude and unprofessional never coming back again.
Ive been calling for 3 days to make an appointment. No one answers the phone. The one time my call did get connected the person hung up. The last time I was here no appointment was necessary. I understand this is the new method but with a new method should come better organization and thats not the case here.
GO TO YONKERS HONDA INSTEAD!!! I don’t know where to start here I regret buying Honda but this service department can’t even fix a window they made me come back three times to fix a window even thou I explain everything clearly also they want you to have appointments but IT DOESNT MATTER BECAUSE YOU HAVE AT LEAST 2 -5 here anyway I drop my car for oil change they call me to come pick it up and guy reset my odometer informs of me I open the hood and check my oil it was so dirty I was mad like are you trying to scam people here or what like common ZERO PROFESSIONALISM ZEROOOOO I DOUBT THEY EVEN HAVE PEOPLE CERTIFIED FROM HONDA WORST PLACE I REGRET IT I REGRET IT SUCH UNPROFESSIONAL PLACE. They kept my car for 6 hours and told me later that they found no issue in it and that if the issues I’m complaining of happen, to bring it to them immediately. Not only did it take them 6 hours to not do anything with the car, they didn’t even do a simple oil change! If you complain to them that they did something wrong, immediately they all become one unit claiming they didn’t but that I’m wrong instead. The worst place to go to. It’s a psychological circus.
This place is a great place to go to get your car repair. I left my car to get fix and they called me to come a pick it up after an hour of service. I once had a problems with my car and John Ross help me fix it. Im truly great full for the service her and the price isnt so bad. I use to go to Yonkers and paid a lot of money on parts and repairs.
By far the Worst customer service dealing with Warranty repairs. As soon as they hear warranty replacement repair they immediately don’t want to cover it or want to deal with it. As soon as i go to New Rochelle Honda repair the experience and service is phenomenal compared to Bronx Honda repair. I called the warranty department and i was told i was covered to get it replaced and Bronx Honda repair said I wasn’t Covered because they don’t want to deal with it. Bronx Honda repair is the worst repair center. I won’t go there again!!!!!
Male personnel in charge was not professional to me and as I observed with other customer ahead of me. He needs to go to courtesy school. Will never go back there for sure. He did not even apologize for getting his facts wrong which was disturbing. He made me feel really bad
I came to the bronx honda service center to get my car (2017 honda crv) fixed since it was not working. I had a tow truck pick up my car to bring there, in hopes they will be able to evaluate and fix the problem. I was informed that they were unable to make an analysis of the problem since the car did not turn on.The next day, they claimed that it was the alternator and battery problem (which was odd since I recently changed my battery thru advanced auto part). I asked if I can take my battery to exchange to another one at advanced auto part since I had a three year warranty, she told me that I cannot do that. If I want my alternator fixed I had to get it done with the battery or have it towed to where ever i wanted to get it done at. I didnt want to deal with the hassle of getting another tow truck, I felt pressured like its the only option to have it done there and decided to just have it all fixed. They changed the alternator and battery. When I went to pick up my car I requested for the battery that they claim was not working and the person said that it would be a 50 dollar charge to take back my old battery (I felt like I was hustled since a return of a battery would be only 5 dollars, I didnt ask for them to take my battery I wanted my battery back and should not be charged my own battery that was in my vehicle prior to them touching the car), Im already paying for a new battery to be replaced, it all just doesnt make sense to me.My experience here was horrible, the person that I had to deal with was yesenia.
I am disappointed with the lack of consideration on the part of maintenance service honda! Frankly after making an appointment my car has spent two full days in their hands I am still being asked to come back later! at 7:00 am I get in and six hours later Im without news of my car! and with her we talk about really pitiful Professionalism!!!!!
I am online trying to schedule an oil change appointment for this week and your website is NOT allowing me access. I have made appointments in the past, printed a copy and kept my appointment ON TIME. When staff looks into their computer, my appointment does NOT show. There is definitely a problem with your website. I would report it to your Computer Techs or Superiors.
100% crooks. Took my 2005 pilot there with only 75,000 miles for a flashing dash light (traction control light). When it happens the car looses power and slows down at any speed. Explained everything to them and left the car there for a few days when they said that they couldnt find the issue. Mind you if the car is driver for 0.5 miles the error occurs. Paid them $125 for nothing. Left the service center and the very next day my check engine came on. Took it to a local shop who diagnosed it for free. The code was for the torque converter. The highly qualified service techs couldnt find the issue and the service rep failed to state the issue on the service receipt...Did some research and found this to be a common problem in the Honda pilots, Odyssey, and mdx... all to say Ive own nothing but Hondas from a 2002 Honda accord, the 2007 Honda pilot, and a 2005 pilot but i will never buy another Honda.I do not recommend anyone going to this shop unless you have a dealer warranty otherwise you will be paying for each and every visit.
If I could give no stars I would. Service and customer service is terrible. If you don’t want to see employees argue about who is going to help you please do not visit. Ultimately was received by Rosemary who proceeded to eat her potato chips while arguing with me about the situation of my vehicle. Prior to visiting my vehicle went in for an oil change and now it will not start and I am now getting steering wheel cautions. Victor expressed too me that an oil change will not cause the issue, which we all know won’t but was very dismissive in conversation and pushed the diagnostics and it’s fee more than anything else. Employees reflect management and I am very dissatisfied, on to the the next dealership.
I’ve been coming here for the last 2 years to service my 2016 Honda Accord(come here around 6-7 times a year). However after consideration i will be servicing my car at another Honda. I gave this place the benefit of the doubt even after seeing bad reviews because i always look at reviews before going to any business. It’s convenient because i live in the Bronx. The only person that I believe has great service is Rosemary and she knows her stuff(GO SEE HER) She has advised me a few times and when she wasn’t there i would get victor or Nat.Victor is very knowledgeable, however he seems way too cocky and I’ve overhead him speaking to clients in a way that made me feel uncomfortable FOR the client.Nat has good customer service, however i noticed that he likes to throw into his conversations about a survey, saying that clients should give him a 10 and that is a big NO NO. I work for a company that will actually terminate you if you were caught giving score numbers to clients on how they should rate you so this a thumbs down for me. It makes clients feel like their obligated to do it and that’s just not right. It’s a hit or miss when it comes to getting one of these advisors, sometimes they seem happy and providing good service or sometimes they wanna act like A**holes when they want to and be nice to whoever they feel like being nice to. And the girls that sit in the window taking payments look miserable and look like they hate their job. When i come into a place especially where I’m spending money I expect to get good service from the moment i walk into the door until I the moment i leave that door. One of the concerns that I have is the multi point inspection that they claim to do on your car but I think it’s a lie.I came into this Honda to get my breaks checked out because it was making a weird noise. Long story short i had came in less than a month before to do a oil change and the multi point inspection page that i was given stated that everything on the car was in good condition(green check marks)When i came in after that to get my breaks checked out i was told that the breaks were worn out and some other things that goes with the breaks costing about $1000+ in total. This was when i believed that the paper is just a lie to make it look like everything is good so that when the day comes that something is wrong with your car, you come in and find out that the repairs are $1000+. I think they do this just to generate sales and also tell you that you need new parts for this and that which is just WRONG. I understand because I used to be a manager in a different business and I know how to important it is to meet your sales goals and because they probably look forward to those BONUSES by telling you to give them a good review and by trying to convince you that you need this and that done to your car, however fooling people into thinking that they need new parts to their car when they really don’t is just wrong and misleading.Another situation that i had last year was when I came to take my car for a wheel alignment. When I received my keys I turned on the car and the battery was dead!!! The car at the time was only a year old and it was strange. My car didn’t turn on the same after that.Today I came in to get a oil change and was told by the guys outside to see an advisor, and when I walked in, there was only 2 advisors, Kevin and Nat. Although they did look busy, it would have been nice for one of them to greet us and tell us to give them a minute while they finish whatever they were doing but I stood around waiting until i walked back outside to tell the guy that sits in the parking lot that they seemed disinterested in helping me so he took me inside and pointed me to Nat, i walked over and he points for me to see Kevin. I was not greeted by neither of them and after the whole break situation and the service that i received today, i no longer wish to continue servicing my car at this location after TWO YEARS. Loyal customer to the Bronx Honda location LOST.
SCAMMERS! STAY AWAY!!!Ive called Honda and they told me that I have a warranty for wheel steering and its going to be absolutely free of charge to come and check it. When I came to them, I clearly explained to the guy what I need, - just to check if I need to fix wheel steering which is on a manufacturer warranty. I asked twice Is it going to be free, right? and he answered Yes, its free. Warranty covers it.After 1 hour the same guy said we detected no problems with a wheel steering you may go as soon as you pay a bill, - $105. I was shocked. Then he explained to me why I have to pay. Because they checked the car and there were no problems at all. And the warranty doesnt cover that. And also he said that I was informed about that charge. I called manager and he showed me where I signed a paper with obligation to pay this charge. And also he said that he believes not me but his worker, he supposed to tell you about the charge and Im sure he did.Be extremely careful when coming there!!!
Worst of the worst. I got there around 9:30am saturday for a recall and first the guys that received the car just give you a paper and they told you go inside they does not ask you if is your first time in the place because you will need your registration to register. Second, the personal that register you inside are the rude people ever especially that bald guy(very unprofessional.) Then they got me seating there until 11:34am to tell me that the part will come on tuesday because they did not have it. Then my question is why on Friday when I call and they ask me what model is my car Honda Civic 2010 they did not tell me they didn’t have my part available or better yet the minute he registered me tell me right on the spot hey let me see if we have your part available POOR MANAGEMENT!!! I do not recommend this place.
Went to get my check engine light resolved. Made an appointment online specifying the issue, waited on the long line to be seen... only to be told that they dont take care of check engine light problems on the weekends. Waste of two hours... fix the options on your website! It shouldnt be an option for certain days if its not available
This service shop might be good, may provide good service, might be a great place to many customers, however, I went in to take care of a recall and it wasnt the best place for me. There is always one giving the negative feed and I dont mean to do it because it could have been a one time mistake but it just happened to be against me. To make it brief, when there to verify a service which was done back in 2016, they couldnt confirm the recall was ever fixed on my car, however I have a receipt stating it was. DMV kept sending notifications and mail about the recall for 2 years straight. I went to get this verification to give DMV proof of it being done and couldnt get it. Had to download the Honda App to make appt, went to my appt to take care of recall and BOOM, waited 4 hrs. While in the waiting area, I heard thru the wall my horn (I have a truck horn installed on my car). They called me like 3 times and said my car wasnt ready, then when it was ready, the paperwork couldnt be located. Heck, the whole car couldnt be located as they gave my paperwork to a different customer, who didnt even notice until they brought him my car. Then he let the valet know. Valet sat on the paperwork and didnt give it back to the associate. He kept working. Then when I finally asked about my car at the 4th hour, representative decided to look into my case and that was after asking me questions of my vehicle (like make, model, year, tell #,etc) to no avail. I was only because he ran the VIN #, that he realized the car was done and he decided to track the paperwork thru the mechanic. In the end, the mechanic said yeah, I remember that car, I had to disable the horn to be able to do the job.. Yes, they disabled my horn, thats a different part of this story. In the end, u got my car, the paperwork said it took .75 labor, which translate to 45 minutes of work, but I waited 4 and half hours and my car. Representative said that he screwed up and sorry for any inconveniences.
DO NOT GO THERE!!!!They will destroy your car intentionally even you pay them the money. I had to do the transmission fluid change and they charge me $130 for changing saying they cleaned everything and put new oil instead i later found out they never changed it but put few new oil on top of the old burnt oil. This place is a scam and people are rude and liar. I already called corporate on them. Buy you oil from the parts section and do it somewhere else.
I took my vehicle for a simple oil change.... Took 4 and a half hours before I left. On a following visit my car had an oil leak.... Few days later I get a call the mechanic accidentally cracked my windshield had to leave the car there an extra week. No apologies, no loaner, nothing. Thanks guys, youre truly professionals. Tomorrow I have to go in for another oil change lets see what new surprises are in store for me.
I always go to new rochelle because that’s where brought my car from. Wait time for oil change is about 3 hrs smh .i decided to do a appt with bronx honda cause it’s closer to my house. I tell you they were quick and politemy wait time was about 30 mins.if they always work like this I’ll always be back . Thank you
This Location Honda service is so bad. They cheated with me year after year. Let me explain, I always did my oil change ( synthetic) with them. it went only upto 3k miles , buty it supposed to go 5k miles. when i went to other shop they explained me that, they set my car as 3k, it doesnt matter what synthetic oil i use. After that i never been to their service. Now i do it from other store.
Worst place to get your car serviced, the costumer service representative are really unprofessional they would be taking calls and talking to other people while they are trying to help you. I recently took my car over there since i was experiencing some problems with my radiator and left it with them overnight, when i called the next day to see if they had the car ready they told me that they couldn’t do anything to the car because it was crashed and supposedly I had third party parts on the car but even though I had proof to show that I didn’t had no type of accident with the car they still continue to give me a hard time. If you can avoid going to this place please do so it is not worth it.
I wish i had just read the reviews and actually listened. I went to bronx Honda on 10/23/2017 for a scheduled airbag recall change. While I was there I figured I would change my oil as well and get my car inspected. The service lady told me it would be 150 for the inspection. I waited about 40 minutes and the service lady came back with 1500 dollars worth of car repairs, oil change and maintenance. I agreed and I left. I picked up my car about 5 hours later. She told me they waived the 150 diagnostic fee and I paid the 1478. About 30 minutes into driving on the high way my car smells like its burning. I get home opened my hood and there are plastic bags in the car, melting. At this point I’m so pissed off. Then I checked my oil because only way home I noticed it still said 25%. It was not changed. I was also told my engine was going to be cleaned and filters changed. At that point I don’t even believe they change the air bag that was recalled. I went to my regular mechanic and my air filters were still the old ones and my engine was dirty. Also the wiper blades are old and needed to be changed (which I knew before hand), and supposedly they checked the condition and it was fine, and its not you can hear the noise of them chattering across my windows because they are old and worn out. I called the next day , The guy who picked up first was like oh I wasn’t the one who took care of you and transfers me to the lady she tells me I didn’t do the service I ask for a manager none where available so I told her that this was completely unacceptable again and she says please bring your car.I said no. she said she needs me to bring my car because she doesn’t know what was performed and what wasn’t. I said thats ridiculous, the fact that you actually said that to me is ridiculous because everything should have been done because that what was agreed and thats what I paid for. I told her Since the oils were not changed And since the wiper fluids weren’t “topped off”, or filters changed , I assume that nothing was done. Go elsewhere!
Cant give it a full rating, Im sure it must be a good place to get your Honda serviced by the amount of cars that are there. However I had to walk right out. I stupidly thought cause there is a sign on the outside of the building Express Service that you wouldnt need an appt for something as easy as an oil change. And maybe that was the case a while ago, because there are signs posted all over the lobby that as of such and such a date appts are required of all service. If you must have your car serviced by a Honda dealer, go to New Rochelle Honda. No appts for oil change, its a first come first serve type of deal which is ok with me.
Never asnwer the phone, delay on everything . It was a pretty fast before now its much slower. Everytime my car goes now its 5 hrs . Horrible communication. Went in to get my brakes and rotors fixed and wheel alignment .. they didnt do the back rotors and my car still shaking and my aligmnet still not done 3 days waiting my time.
I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go to Bronx Honda Parts and Servicing. Their service is the worst I have ever experience. I dropped off my 2007 Civic there for it’s 75,000 miles servicing in January 2018. No one called me or followed up to tell me that the car is ready for pickup. So after 4 days I called to find out the status of my vehicle. I was told that there is a different person handle my car servicing. Who then told me my car has been ready but they forgot to call me.It was raining the day I picked up the car and I noticed that my wiper on the drive side was still leaving streaks. This was my first red flag. 2 days later my check engine light came on. My radio light would periodically flicker on and off. Some of the buttons on the center console would turn off. And my temperature gauge would fluctuate. So I took the car back to honda. They called me and told me that they could work on the car because of an aftermarket part. I replaced the part and on my way back to Honda service my temperature gauge kept climbing. I pulled over and there was smoke coming from under the hood. I pinpoint the problem to a loose holes I quickly fastened. The engine temperature was still high when I got to Honda services. Something told me to buy a bottle of coolant. So I did. A day later I got a call from the service representative who informed me that all is well with the car and it’s ready for pickup. On picking up the car before I drove off their parking lot I checked my coolant level. I couldn’t see any fluid. So I opened the bottle I bought before dropping of the car and poured 2/3 of it into the radiator before it was full. On the check list that the service representative gave me, coolant level was one of the thing on it the was checked green. Then I remembered my driver side wiper blade. Which also had a green check mark on the initial 75,000 miles checkup.I went back to the representative and expressed my dissatisfaction with their service. He immediately had the car looked at again and told me the hole I had fasted needed to be replaced. He also told me he wouldn’t charge me for the labor only the parts. At this point I had lost all trust in the customer service. They lied about the checking my coolant and changing my wiper blades. For all I know the didn’t do any of the servicing I paid for. Plus I had to use vacation time for all the hours of work I had to miss dropping off and picking up the car.
I arrived at this location at 6:30am number 5 in line (before opening 7:30am) and left 11 hours later!! I was charged for work which was not the solution to my problem and way more expensive than the solution. I feel cheated!!!! Went elsewhere for diagnostic found out that the real solution was something else and the work that was done was unnecessary!! I have been going here for a few years thinking I would have honest work done. Very disappointed. Save yourself thousands of dollars by not coming here.
Honda deliberately tries to con its customers. An oil change shouldnt cost $200. The folks at this location tried convincing everyone that they needed a new battery, however my car is still new, a 2015. Will be trying a small shop next time, as Ive tried other honda centers and its always the same. It costs too much
Most unprofessional behavior. All time I call phone ringing nobody answering the call.i left my car there 3 days don’t even get a phone call what’s going on.before closing they pick a call asking one more day to repair.i don’t think I will never go back to them for spending my time and my money .
Update: I have come rarely for oil change which goes smooth but today 6/22 changed my mind and my whole experience. I choose this location because is close to home and my vehicle needed service for a recall once I got there all went smooth until I walked in. Inside there are three advisors which two females are too busy and one of them is talking to other advisor across from her about her personal preferences and issues in a relationship. Afterwards the other advisor pays mind to another colleague which is showing her online clothing on her phone. As I approach to one of them the younger female asks me why do I need so I state Im here for a recall she informs me either the lady across from her or the gentleman will help me. So lady was busy with her colleague so I went to the gentleman named Derrick Millin, who seemed to have a bad personal day. I went politely and he rolls his eyes and points one finger up as telling me wait 1 minute, doesnt even greet or salutes me. He then proceed to assist me and ask what Im here for, so I tell him and he says ok one sec and walks out. Comes and sit on his desk and with frustration look at his phone and calls and leaves a voicemail. After he is done with his personal issues decides to work and assists me with my vehicle. Seems like this place lacks of proper management or someone with authority.Awesome and quick came to my regular oil change on my Honda civic and Victor was friendly and polite really professional guide throughout the maintainance of my car and real quick I was done with the service in less than one hour, totally recommended for those that live on the area instead of traveling to the service center at Queens.
Doesnt operate on appointments for service even though the feature is available and used by all online on their website. You only find out once you arrive that there will be a 3-4 hour wait! Screw this. The one in Yonkers uses and keeps apointments. Thats where Ill be going for future service from now on. How terrible it felt being misled
First of all I dont usually do this but since the customer service was so bad here. I just had to write about it. Honda need to fire every single person in the parts department service window specially the pig there a fat white guy with a bunch of Mark in hes neck hes the first one that should be fire. Its like they dont care for their customer. Customer are just standing there not being helped because these idiots are either on their phone or talking to each other. I went there to get a simple part and even that I couldnt get because they are so distracted its hard for them to find what Im looking for imagine if I go for full service. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever received. Please just fired these idiots and hire new higher motivated and caring employee not some people that are just body.
Where to begin.1. Before i got to the service center i called and asked what was needed inorder to replace a broken key they told me just the old key. Get there and am told i need to have the car to program new key. I ask if i can tow the car in, they tell me i can purchase a $80 dummy key to start my car all i have to do is put my old chip key next to it and it will start. Thankfully another customer informed me that this was not garanteed to work. I asked if i purchase the key and it did not work could i return it, was told no so i decided to tow the car to the site.2. Once there they informed me that i had a recall on my vehicle and told me that they fix it complimentary. Fast and easy. I was a bit hesitant but decided to do it because u never know when you might regret it.3. After almost 5hr wait time. I go to my car and relaize that my windshield was cracked and the dashboard where they fixed the recall was scratched up and sticking out.4. I reported this to them and after 5mins of running around they inform me that the manager was not there and they would give me a call the next day. They never called me and i had to call them. When i called them they made it sound like i was liar and at fault and it wasnt there fault.5. After a couple days i could finally come back to speak wit management who coincidentally was somehow never there when i called. After looking at my car for like 2 sec. He told me that it did not happen in the shop and something fell on it and he had been doin this job for years and it was a stone that fell and hit it and my insurance would fix it and they were not at fault, which is funny seeing as how there was no crack before bringing it here nor was it on the check in form. Yet they seen the small scratch about the left mirror but not that giant crack.6. My scratched up and broken dashboard they told me i had to come back because they did not have the clips and they would call me when they came in. Yet again they did not call me back, so i called them and they inform me that there shipment was messed up from holiday season and they were working on getting all the parts in. Hour later they call me back and told me they had the parts and i could come anytime to have it fixed.7. I am here right now waiting to see how it turns out. But from what i have had to deal with I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE or ever come back here.8. The intial lady nikki who helped me was nice.
I came to Bronx Honda Service because I received an airbag recall notice. When I came in the car was running fine and the check engine light was NOT on. When they gave me my keys and I turned on my car the check engine light was on. I told them right away before I left, but they said that the check engine light has nothing to do with the airbag and they would have to charge me to see what might be wrong. As the check engine light was NOT on when I came there I would at least expect them to check and see what the problem could be as a courtesy. Very Unhelpful....
Completely waste of time! Dont waste your time come inside here, full of B.S! Rosemary the service advisor waste my time for a whole month, I went in because the driver seat was making noise when it was move so she told me they needed to replace the seat frame, but it needs approval from two managers (which I came to find out this is not true) so I was fine give me a call when you get the approval two days pass by and no call so I call and then she told me she wasnt able to speak to her manager about so when I ask to speak to him she put me on hold and then told me he approved (John Rose) and it takes a week to get here from Canada.. One week when by I called and nothing, two weeks when by I called and nothing and so on is been a month and Rosemary still have the nerve to told they still waiting on the seat frame such a disappointment that a Honda dealer act so unprofessional ..
Avoid this place like the Black Plague because an employee almost tried to punch me, yelled at me for sitting down in a chair and said to go pay the f*ing bill for questioning an insane charge in my invoice. This entity in the Bronx represents violence, laziness, sloppiness, rudeness, unethical insane service charges, unprofessional service advisor who dresses inappropriately to represent Honda. I would never go back to this place. I am thankful that the manager and an another employee quickly saved me before I was about to get hurt by a service advisor. It was the manager who readjusted my invoice and sent me on my way home.
The parts dept is a waste of time. They spend their time chatting and not taking customers orders. Simply solution. Order online. Amazon will deliver in 2 days or 1 day for 3.99 and will still be a better deal and no wait. The service depth is well run and recommended.
Super shady. I installed brand new tires a few months back, and when I went to get a wheel alignment done, the service guy called and said there were a number of issues with my car. He went on rambling until I heard him mention tire rotations - WHEN I JUST GOT BRAND NEW TIRES. When I caught that, he started stuttering... dont trust these guys.
Lets just say they are no good. Unless your going in for warranty work find somewhere else. I had a check engine light for a transmission fault. They told me I needed a new transmission. I took it for a second opinion. Code was cleared and only cost me $30. Will never go back.
The front desk service assistants both male and female are BEYOND UNPROFESSIONAL! The front desk service area is to provide SERVICE not to be having a buffet lunch while answering to customers like the are bothering you when asking to schedule an appointment and inquiring about the time frame it would take to complete the work on the vehicle. UNPROFESSIONAL INDIVIDUALS AT ITS BEST!
I went to Bronx Honda on a Saturday around 12 pm for an oil change. The customer service agent told me to come get my car around 3/330 but that he that he would call me when its ready. they had a lot of cars to get to before mine and the wait was longer than usual. I said fine, and he suggested some places in the area to eat and waste time. Luckily my boyfriend had his car so we went to the mall awaiting a car. At 330 after receiving no call we decided to go over anyway and check on the car. Of course they were closed. After seeing the lights inside still on I called when someone answered I said hello is there anyway I can get my car out of the lot. I was hung up on. This happened twice. I called the Bronx Honda sales department which is at another location close by. The woman who answered the phone told me it was absolutely impossible for anyone to tell me to come get the car at 3 since they close at 2. Then she told me that it was also impossible for anyone to be at the service and parts office since they were closed. Since they were also closed on Sunday I ended up having my boyfriend drive me everywhere for the next two days until Tuesday morning when I finally went to get my car at 730 am. When I asked how come I didnt get a phone call that my car was ready for pick up I was told that it was too close to closing time. (wtf is that about)I never though a simple oil change would result in a three day ordeal and what could be my worst costumer service experience next to dealing with Sallie Mae. Needless to say I will not be returning to Bronx Honda Service and Parts.
Too bad cant give it zero stars.Went in to the parts counter no customers present I get there there are 2 guys at the counter a guy named ray and some other older guy. They didnt even acknowledge me as a customer they kept just talking about a rude customer they had encountered earlier, waited 20 minutes felt like I was inconviniencing them. Finally I told the guy my man I need a bottle of anti freeze which then he took care of me. if it wasnt for the fact my pilot is low on anti freeze didnt want to just leave or buy after market anti freeze.
If you have to go to Honda Parts in Zerega, try to stay away from Paul. Horrible customer service, no people skills, and just plain ignorant! I am a very calm, cool & collective person by nature. It takes a lot to rattle me but this guy is a piece of work. He does not explain details/processes and ASSumes you know what to do and then proceeds to talk down to you. Not only are the parts very over-priced, but the service is terrible. Never going back there again and I hope you dont either.
This Honda Service Center is the worse I ever seen. The service and the service team is awful. They messed up my car when working on it. Brand new parts that I purchase was ding and they protrude screws on my car door while changing a panel. I am so upset my vehicle is only 6 months old. This place is very careless and they dont care about peoples property. I gave 1 star just so I can add this review but my true rating is NO STAR.
Bad bad bad. My wife went there to program the remote for our Honda. They said if they try to do it if it works or not $113. They eventually said No, and charge her $85 for the generic one that I can buy online for $30. So we ended up paying $215. So if I need help with my car the last place to go is a Honda service. This is worst and unacceptable
They have a fast and excellent service.07/06/2020Update:I will update this review in few words:They never answer the phone and customer service is not the same.... APP is not working right!... And because the COVID19 appointment are insane longer... Now I have to go to another place because of this.... Thank you guys!
If they learn how to answer the phone a lot of unnecessary time can be wasted instead of going in person to ask one single question just to hear “sorry we cant help you” A 20 min drive for nothing which could have been avoided if they would have only picked up the phone.Horrible, unacceptable and office staff with nasty attitudes!
Good customer is hard to find. My car’s alternator went out on me at work. Towed my car to Bx Honda service and parts I spoke to Ms R Aviles (remember that name) and she took care of me on the spot. It’s a shame how Bx Honda Service and Parts overwhelms their Customer service reps with work but give them little appreciation. As stated before take your car to Bx Honda Service and parts and Let Ms Aviles take care of your car. She know her “stuff” Oh and Mr Victor pulled me over and took care of my oil change without me asking. Sorry thats dam dam good customer service. Don’t worry about brand loyalty worry about good customer service. Ms Aviles and Mr Victor. You don’t see them come back another time......
Unable to reach them when needed. I called this morning at 11:15 to reschedule an appointment. A young lady answered, she put me on hold until I was disconnected . I have been trying to call back since then and it just rings and rings with no answer. My original appointment by was for a today at 1:30 and guess what I be wont be there. This is not my first bad experience at this location.
If I could give it a negative 100 I would. Joel vega from the service department has a very bad attitude, its like he does not want to work or be there. I had a issue w my car and he did not help at all. very nasty very disrespectful. If you go here do not work with him.
I purchased a Honda CRV at Bronx Honda a year ago, and I’ve had a very good experience. I’ve always in my time with this vehicle come to Bronx Honda for service and today, I visited Bronx Honda for an oil change and the service was quick and the people at Bronx Honda are very kind and created a very friendly environment for me while waiting for my vehicle. This was all thanks to employee Victor Mercado, who is the best representative there. That’s what makes Bronx Honda unique, their fantastic service, employees, and environment that makes getting service for my CRV so much less of a chore.
This place Is TERRIBLE. You are better off driving to white plains honda. It may be an extra 40 minute drive round trip but you will save time. I made an appointment for bronx honda for 11am and its 12:35 and I am still here waiting for my oil change. In Whit plains honda this same process with the same car takes around 30 minutes. What is the point of making an appointment when a 30 minute job takes longer than an hour and 35 minutes. If you go to bronx honda please be prepared to wait hours longer than you will wait anywhere else
Avoid this honda at all costs. They competely botched my break job right before i took a trip from NY to GA...worst experience of my life. They dont want to fix it so i had to get the corporation involved. Also the waiting room is like a sardine can...horrible horrible horrible. Will never go to this honda even if its the last one on earth. Only nice this is rosemary is a good employee if you have to go to this Honda go to her.
First I want to say the wait area is always clean & well organized and the service representatives are always pleasant & ready to assist with any problems, however they service is very poor and you can never reach anyone on the phone to make an appointment or to query any information regarding your car which I find really bad for somewhere as busy as Bronx Honda.
I ordered a break booster for my car. Not only did they not know who I was or what I was talking about when I came to pick up the part, THE PART WAS FAULTY. It’s missing pieces. I call, I go back up there and they tell me there is no record of my transaction. So to the people at Bronx Honda Parts, I magically had a car part from the manufacturer. Just all around unprofessional.
Absolutely the worst service!! No help at all!! Extremely unprofessional!! And no suppressor or manager at the facility.... Never again will i come here..... 2 hours for an oil change and still counting..... i would like to give a shout out to Victor for being the only help... its truly appreciated especially after being ignored for 2 hours.....
If you ever need repair please go somewhere else .they charge you for new parts but you wont get new1 you will get use.I paid through my insurance almost $12,000 they charged me for new parts but they use all use some of the parts were bend they just fixed it. But charged for replacement. I urge you all please dont choose that location go somewhere else. Worse customer service I ever got.!
On Monday December 2, 2019 I went to service my Honda Pilot for few recalls and An engine oil change, also I went to the parts store to buy few items for my car. Everything was okay except by the long time that I had to wait to service my car. I wish they would do something to fix that issue.. the waiting time was more than 5 hours.
Been coming here for over 4 years and I tell you the manager here is excellent with all that going on with the current situation around the manger help me out very well totally recommend zerega ave to anyone with service issue the staff is well rounded and knowledgeable about there service
I came here for an oil change on 10.19.2015. After reading some of these reviews, I was hesitant to bring my car here. Im glad I decided to try for myself. I was in and out within an hour. Very professional and had a good experience. I cant speak for other departments but the oil change was quick and painless.
Clowns do a poor job on oil changes. A honda center that knows nothing about their cars 🤦🏾♂️... they dnt even bother checking dipstick after oil change to see if its @ proper level. They’ve been over filling my civic To the point where the oil level is way above the measuring portion of the dipstick and adding 5 quarts when the car asks for 3.7-4. i’ve gotten 4 changes thus far and this was the case for all of the.
I wish i can give 0 star to this service center, bad customer service. They put you on hold for no reason and then disconnect the call and after if you call they wont answer your call, very unprofessional team, i meet mike and on phone i spoke to victor both are terrible. Its better to go any private service center instead of going to this horrible place.
If I can put 0 stars i will definitely do it.I really fell so bad for the way how they treat the customers.I called 5 days for one appointment and they didn’t answer.I purchase hrv-2017 and evertime is something new that doesn’t work on 30 thousand $ car.I’am fell so bad for myself because I trusted the company. My car looks like a old one, because the color is almost gone white-perl.
Cant say enough about JOHN ROSS the man that runs the service dept he helped me and my 2006 ridgeline rtl with great service and called me with all the detail I needed to make the right decision this man has alot of knowledge and honda should be grateful he works there thx for all your help u have a customer for life...
Worse customer service ever! Aside from Victor (only true professional there), the rest of the customer service representatives provide a bad service.. Always with a bitter attitude and take forever to help you out, and when they do, they want to add unnecessary stuff your vehicle doesnt need. Im talking about a white bold man, a latin old lady who doesnt want to speak Spanish and a nasty attitude girl with a bunch of plastic surgeries who believe she knows about cars, when in reality she knows nothing. The certified mechanics do a decent job (Michael Martinez (big Mike) to be more specific), but as always they have to follow orders and add as much unnecessary stuff as possible. Two stars for the job they perform on your car, one star for Victor, for a professional customer service and minus zero stars for the rest of the representatives (They suck).Ps: People, ladies and gentlemen, stop falling for the cabin air filter thing they always tell you to replace when you go to the dealers. Honda charges $110 or more to replace it and thats just a little paper filter (usually $18 from honda, $8 to $10 on autozone, petboy, etc) located on the globe compartment. It takes less than a minute to replace it on your own. Just push in both sides of the globe compartment and it will come loose, you are going to see a little box (drawer), just pull it off get the old/ dirty filter out of it, place the new one and you are done. Go to YouTube (How to replace a cabin air filter on your Honda) and you are going to see if how easy it is.Final advice.... If you need to replace the breaks (rotors and pads) go to the Honda parts department, ask them to use a discount from any individual auto service / body shop listed on their record and buy them and take them to a your local / particular mechanic. You will save a bunch of money! Honda charges you half of what your car is worth just to replace those breaks.
Brought in my 98 Accord for a service recall drove car there and while there a part had to be ordered and now car wont start they want to charge me 190.00 for checking car towed car to my mechanic to find that the battery had been disconnected will never use this place again

2021-10-01This Honda Services & Parts on Zerega Ave Bronx, NY easy to get to from I95 or Hutchinson River Parkway. The Service professionals do a good job, when it comes to addressing repairs. Customer service personnel make sure things are organized are orderly. Weve purchased several Honda CR-Vs from the sales location on Tremont Ave in the Bronx, because we have always been satisfied with their service.Maintenance and repairs are done on a first come first serve basis, so we have tried to be early, 6am, to get a good place in line.

2022-04-26I went to Honda for a recall and also while I was there they told me that I would receive a multi check inspection. The recall went fine, only took around 2 hours and when I was done and got my paperwork I saw that nothing was checked off for the multi check inspection. I was forced to go to the service department because of the recall, but I would never choose to go to this service department on my own due to very bad experiences in the past. A person from the service department called me to ask about my experience, and when I told her it was negative, she said I would receive a phone call. I never received a phone call, and I have filled out surveys in the past about my bad experiences, no one ever got back to me about them. This is no way to run a service department.

2022-06-28Definitely bad service!!! They were unable to check my car because they said they don’t have enough certificated mechanics literally I was told that they have only oil changer I was waiting for more than 2 hours and they did not even start with the inspection of my car to find a noise also I let the guy know that I have warranty That I purchased additionally I Paid $2000 plus taxes and he was trying to charge me for the service after I took my car without the checking I realized that my warranty can cover that and the necessaries parts. What’s the point of make an appointment wait for the date miss one day at work? Just waste of time. Months before I went for an alignment paying for the service and my tires last only 6 months I have pictures and the receipt but they just did not solve anything I ended up buying new tires and paying for another alignment in other shop

2021-01-04Service was quick and customer service was great for the most part. Honda still can’t figure out what’s wrong with our 2020 Odessy’s random radio antenna and Bluetooth disconnection issues but they serviced the other maintenance issues.

2022-03-14It was unfortunate your male customer servi e agent is unable to connect with their client. I tried to communicate my issue, and my disappointment on how he delivers his information, his posture and tone turned very authoritarive and was not able to . This was my first and last vist there.I have had a security issue with my car for over two weeks, there has been rain, snow and Ice. When i called two weeks ago it was unfortunate that a security issue wasnt important to them, luckily i had better service at Paragon Honda.Going to Bronx Honda was a total negative experience since going through the doors to the building. The two men at the gates before the doors were friendly and easy to talk to.I can go into further details, but there should be video of a man walking to his car and crying in a red honda fit for 5 minutes before leaving your parking lot.To the two men in the front gate i appreciate you and i hope this doesnt reflect badly on your service, as to the male customer service agent, sorry I did not catch your name, but you did not care about me either. I can tell when you laughed when I realized you did not care and decided to let it go. This is me letting it go.

2022-01-31Seems like someone named Marcie is always on here trying to do damage control for all the bad reviews. What Marcie doesnt know is, its not about the good reviews and your damage control; its about the bad reviews thats taken into account and thats what readers should/are focusing on. As they should be. Im in a weird situation right now with Bronx Honda (Zerega location) and will be posting updated, accurate reviews with picture(s) in the coming days. Now, Marcie is unable to do damage control because Marcie doesnt know the situation as of yet. Lets see if they get it right. For now Ill give them two stars and Ill be updating my stars and review at a later date. #StayTunedMarcie’s damage control wasn’t effective this time. Professional, proper, customer service doesn’t release customer’s situations, car make and mileage to the public as Marcie has done; time again (go figure). Now there’s no need to update my review Marcie has done it for me. Use at your own risk.

2021-06-20I left my vehicle for oil change Friday at 2:30 pm. Advisor: Yesenia informed me they will call me once service done. I never received any call and went back at 8:55 pm because they were closing at 9 pm. And I found everything already closed. Why they didn’t call me? If they could not do the service same, I would not service my vehicle at all because I had party to join in the evening. I had to take taxi to attend there while my car is sitting in their parking lot. They at least should have notified me something. As of now I yet to hear from them. I have a feeling they just gonna keep my car in their facility this weekend without noticing me. This the worst service. Even local any car repair shop way better than this place. planning to take it to the Honda main service.
