Great city views and cool wares at this thrift shop. Its in a really nice space, and the food vendors are pretty damn good! Pho and dumplings are a must. The real power move is to hit up a local bar before to prepare for a shopping spree. Enjoy your used flannel shirt and rusty toy horse, you earned them 😉
Very nice place to visit. Even if you don’t buy you will enjoy these visually. lot of vintage stuff, authentic food and even home mad moonshine. places for coffee and pastry. nice for collectors and just visitors. free to attend. imho in the summer it better than museums. and brides is near so you can after walk and enjoy manhattan view
Not too many vendors, probably 20-30. The handmade items are great, but the used flea market items are pretty pricey which is disappointing. Not for the avid flea marketers, but fun day out if you are just browsing. Great stage area for the kids and plenty of food options.
This is a must for anyone and everyone. Even though I am a Queens boy through and through I love going to Brooklyn Flea both indoors and out. It changes everything we go so be sure to check it out more than once. I like it best when there are several handcrafted furniture vendors. There is also great food here every single time.
I love the Brooklyn Flea - I think sometimes people take things like this for granted, but in a city the size of NY, its nice to come walk around and talk with people who are making great products as a side hustle or entrepreneurs who are supporting themselves with their own businesses. I love it - always find something unique here. I love coming here pre-Christmas to find things for the family.
Good place to browse around and find odd or unexpected items. Go to the building across to find a wide range of food options. Finding parking is tough, though. We found some a few blocks away under a bridge. Likely still worth a visit, especially on an off peak weekday.
This place is high and probably awesome bar scene on Saturday night. Didnt stay that late though. Right at the water. Looks out at statue of liberty. Great view. Multiple buildings with some really cool ideas for sale. Of note was the guy making useable items out of old records...notebooks, phone cases, clocks and wall art.
Easily accessible by train, BK Flea exceeded my expectations. The place is HUGE. Once the cold weather arrives, this will be a regular haunt for me until spring arrives.Lots of booths selling clothes, jewelry, accessories, and even furniture, theres something for everyone at the BK Flea. The food offerings are equally varied... and delicious. Most items are made to order and entrees are usually in the $7-12 range.Today I tried my first pulled pork ramen sandwich, which I washed down with a refreshing prickly pear beverage. If flea markets arent your thing, come for he food. When youre done, theres a Costco literally next door. Oh yeah, they also have pinball games and a pool table if youre looking for a little fun.
VERY... UNIMPRESSIVE: Fewer vendors than previous location for Brooklyn Fair, mostly clothing and limited selection at that ( I was fairly say it was about 30, if not less, vendors). The space allotted for Flea Market vendors is much smaller. I was excited to go, and saddened to find so much less of a selection
Visiting from Australia and was expecting a big market (it was a nice sunny day) instead none of the food vendors were open and there were about 10 stalls in total very disappointing given we had to travel 30 mins from New York to get there 😓 if your a tourist don’t waste your time.
Love the idea of this place and the building is lovely, but I wasnt totally bowled away by the offerings. I had expected more in the way of local food vendors, and a lot of the antiques/vintage dealers had unimpressive selections for astronomical prices. Still, if you are in the area, it was fun to browse around and there are definitely some fun vendors to visit.
A great place to wander around with a friend or your sweetie on a lazy weekend. Come early if you plan on doing some serious shopping; it gets crowded, especially on sunny days. Plan on getting lunch - the food vendors shine here. Stop by the ATM on your way, too. A lot of sellers take credit cards but will give you a break if you present them with cold hard cash.
Ive been to the flea market a few times now and Im kinda disappointed with the standard vendors who peddle the same wares week in week out. The bonus for me is the awesome selection of food vendors on the premises. One vendor did have a pretty awesome selection of old playboys but so did I at one time.
Fabulous merchandise various kinds of antiques. Specializes in refurbishing and repairing antiques , and ART, from A-to-Z. Also specializes in the sells and repair of vintage watches, clocks, and jewelry and antique furniture. Reasonable prices, Wonderful Southern gentleman who is very friendly and very informative relating to antiques.
Ever since it moved and combined with the vacated dealers in FT. Greene it is horrible. Separately, they were very good. Now, its clothes, that arent really vintage and overpriced junk...literally. The dealers are also not that knowledgeable and arrogant relative to the stuff they are peddling. Not the the same....the best markets are now Upstate and in Connecticut and Pennsylvania.
I have only ever been to the Flea in the summer months and always enjoy its selection and quirkiness. I went in the winter (inside) and although the selection was still great, it was PACKED. That made it a little difficult to enjoy and browse. Nevertheless, this is a great way to spend an afternoon. I always come away with something Brooklyn-esque and cute.
Jewelry offerings were good. There seemed to be some furniture and some antiques, although neither are my thing. Highlight for me (shocker here) were the $1 tasty mini-cupcakes from Kumquat Cupcakery. Its been too long since I was last here - I need to go back for another visit.
A mixed bag of slightly pricey vintage items over various stalls... most of this stuff is overpriced but its fun to peruse all the same. I especially like the stall with the retro toys for dome reason - Star Wars figures, 80s badges and once even an ALF doll (remember him?!). Theres also branded vintage crates and maison jars... but the real joy of coming here is the food and that view!
Because my wife and I live in the neighborhood, we have been able to frequent Brooklyn Flea quite often. I am not sure that it would be such a big deal if it were located in another city but that can be said about many things in New York. There is a nice mixture of low-end, traditional flea market stuff, and also nicer furniture and clothing, etc. The vendors seem to come and go...if you see something you like, it might not be there next week or the week after. In the year we have been going, the food vendors seem to have increased but the vendors seem to have dwindled a bit. Dont expect dirt-cheap prices just because it is a flea market. Nonetheless, it is something worth doing if you are going to be in Brooklyn on a Saturday.
Pretty fun for a couple of hours on a Saturday morning. Flea market sounds like its cheap, but no one who lives in Brooklyn expects the wares to be even somewhat cheap (its not. at all). The Smorgasburg stands are awesome. Excellent food there and nice variety for a small market.
Saturday Williamsburg Hotel Location. My understanding was this was one of the biggest and best flea markets anywhere. Do NOT make this a destination. In fact you should forget you ever even heard of it. You can find bigger and better flea markets in any Church field or shopping center parking lot, literally anywhere but here. We havent tried the DUMBO Sunday event but it couldnt be worse than this one!
Ive been perhaps three or four times and, while the vintage varies in quality and price, the other reviewers are right that the food and drink stalls here are great and a strong indicator of the next big street food thing (such as flavoured shaved ice on a boiling day). Still, theres secondhand goodness to be found if you rummage and the view across to Manhattan is particularly gorgeous.

2021-10-05A must visit during winter. Its a great place to spend time. You can find various historical items for fraction of the price. There are shops that sells succulents too. So in general its a great place. Do take some cash. Sometimes the Cards dont work and ATMs inside have a limit.

2019-12-29I was a bit skeptical about the winter location of Brooklyn flea in on the 8th floor of a corporate building but I have to say once you are inside it is actually quite cool. It has great views of the city and nice to be warm and have bathrooms that are not port a potties. The flea market itself I find to be overpriced and a limited selection but that’s also just Brooklyn for you.

2019-11-14Brooklyn Flea is fun. You find a lot of interesting things. Prices are higher than any other less popular flea market but worth the prices still. Meet a lot of fun and personable people. Also near the smorgasbord so it’s a whole day trip in Bklyn.

2021-04-19The best flea market I’ve been to in... forever?? Seriously, the vintage clothes here were to die for. Reasonably priced, unlike the boutiques you’ll find in soho. You will LOVE the 90’s toy, tables of antique silver spoons, and fabulous leather jackets.

2018-06-16Saturdays flea in Industry City is much smaller than Dumbo location on Sunday. That being said there is a lot to see in the other outbuildings at IC.
