I loved the roof-stoop event I attended here on Sunday. My group came for a bachelorette party - we wanted to do something casual and covid-safe. This was perfect. The food was out of this world - I’m going to be thinking about that matcha dessert forever. The drinks were delicious and creative too. Half of my group was drinking alcohol and the other half was drinking non-alcoholic beverages - there were tons of creative options for both types. The views are insane. Lots of great photo spots.

Brooklyn Grange are attempting to improve the ecological environment of Brooklyn by Building farming in some industrial buildings. It’s worth to check out their places and they also sell vegetables

The space is beautiful inside and out. There’s outdoor and indoor seating, every spot has great views of the garden and the city. The alcohol selection was so-so, would have been nice if they had a Pilsner or a cocktail option. The food was delicious but the portions were small, most people won’t find it enough for a full meal. Loved that they used reusable napkins, but was troubled by the single-use cups and chopsticks.

Seeing the rooftop garden was impressive and worth the trip, but the tour was not. The tour didn’t start on time and did not give enough useful information about the plants. Instead the tour was mostly about the business model of the Brooklyn Grange. I wanted to hear more about the plants, soil, water, and harvesting.

Participated in a tour here and it was awesome. Very informative on how the vegetables are grown and the process that it took to have such a place in Brooklyn
