Love bringing my.kids here to enjoy a local park...
Nice lake and park. Only a few spots to fish without overhead trees. Was pretty busy fishing the other day.
Great place for spend good time in family you are available to make barbecue on site
Such a cute place for the kids to have a good time and also to learn about our long island history a bit. Always a fun place to go.
This location has seating areas where you can see the birds being playful. At times many people fish but I never see them catch any perhaps just for sport purposes. At least from my standpoint when I was at the times when I visited location. Its a great place to feed the birds many visitors often do. Cyclists usually past through for their exercising regimen. And its a great place when were able to walk together and reflect on our loving relationship.
Brookwood hall staff are very helpful and kind. Many different departments at this location including town IDS and handicap permits.

I am fairly new to visiting this park, I went with my father to renew his handicap ♿ placard. But I would love to return here because I saw a sign that read that there were hiking trails 👣 and there is a lake where you can go fishing (permit needed)
Its great! Tennis courts & play ground and plenty of parking. Unfortunately the town park rangers can learn how to be nicer respect all the people who go there. Overall a nice place
Every time I visit they are so friendly! I dont go that often but may start to see their other offerings. Very easy visit!

Beautiful, family friendly park with gorgeous trails and plenty of room to run around. If you have a moment, visit the art museum or the tennis courts. There is also a good sized playground with tons of activities to keep the kids busy.
Great secure little park for little ones, some adults live in a barn by leaving the gate open dummies
We had lots of fun there. My cousin had a really good time photographing the ducks and geese.
Great place to relax, picnic tables, kids playground, and many many geese to feed or watch, go youll like it too.
Really beautiful place to wander if you have things to do at Brookwood hall, senior center or day care center. There is a large lake in back with lots of ducks and gorgeous White swans. Grounds are nicely maintained.
Nice place to have the kids play
Ive only ever visited the park, but its clean and fenced off so its easy to keep track of the little ones. Also, they hold movie nights here where they project some of the more recent kids films on to a screen. They even have the ice cream truck come by for refreshments.
The park is always nice to go to with the kids! One building still needs some work, but doesnt bother me. Nice to feed the geese and ducks and relax.
My kids love it here and you can even do fishing as well. It’s well kept, always clean beautiful place for a nice day

It was actually a nice spot with plenty of space. Theres even a nice little opening to the lake and makes a nice campground site. I was there for a baby shower

2022-03-03My family has been coming to this park since my children were born. My boys absolutely love this park, definitely their favorite in the area. Highly recommend for any family with young children in the area. My 8 year old is on the verge of being too big but do the time being he still enjoys it here. Must bring some food to feed the ducks. The town does an excellent job in taking care of this park.

2022-04-12Always loved this little park. I lived in the area 20 years ago and still find myself coming here just to walk and reflect. Beautiful stream and be chest along it. If you are into birds you can absolutely see some interesting ones here!

2021-04-26Great place for outdoor activities. Fishing, hiking, playground for the kids and also baseball field plus beautiful lake to feed geese. All kinds of wildlife squirrels,birds ,geese and raccoons . I love bringing my family for a walk through the park.

2020-03-12Nice place to take a walk through. You can see Several types of wildlife here such as Swan, geese, ducks, fish and turtles.Art museum inside mansion . For the little ones theres a playground and free parking.

2018-10-30Very bucolic setting with a nice lake and wooded area. Nice for a leisurely walk, plus the Islip Art Museum is a welcome bonus. Very nice place. I love coming here to relax and think.

2019-09-22A nice park. It has been recently updated. The lake is nice to walk around but watch out for the geese and swans they can get aggressive. These Cub scouts are cleaning the park
