Don’t let any bad reviews fool you - we had been ordering from another place until we found Village Pizza. The pies are AMAZING (and we come from Brooklyn). The wings are excellent as well. They always show up hot and have amazing flavor. Get the mango jalapeño ! Delivery guy is so nice too - thank you Village Pizza for making our pizza nights great!

Awesome wings and pizza and Calzones. Highly recommend making a trip to, worth going 75 minutes drive, one way for our family. Call ahead for even more convenient pickup.

Any time I get near the tri-state area. It is ways my first stop for food. The fresh made pizza and canolli are always fill you up and make you a glutton for more. Fresh ingredients and great spices in the sauce make me want to come back for more.

Went there for the first time tonight. We had a large party for little league 4 adults and 8 children. They were VERY accommodating. The waitress was friendly and extremely helpful with our kids. We had pizza and soda. The pizza was great and very reasonably priced. Will definitely go back.
My wife & I have sung the praises of Village Pizza since we moved to the area in 2001. Unfortunately, the quality of the pizza & service has gone downhill significantly in the past 2 years. About six months prior to this review I picked up a pie, we both thought that it was bad but said that it was a one off experience. We started going to Port Jervis Pizza & the pizza was great. I wanted to give Village another chance & ordered a pizza with 4 toppings and a order of wings. When I picked up the order the woman at the counter said $34.00 please., we both paused & she said that seems like a lot then added everything up again, No, thats correct, $34.00. I was shocked at the cost but paid & tipped. When I got home I put the pie & wings in the oven to stay warm until my wife. got home. We sat down to eat & the overall appearance of the pizza was horrible, a handful of pepperoni in a big pile in one area, mushrooms in another, chunks of tomato & onion that looked like it came off a salad sparsely tossed on. My wife took a bite & said the crust was not cooked through, i found the same then put the pizza back in the oven. We decided to eat the wings until the pizza was cooked through. I love spicy food but the wings were inedible, soggy and overly salted & spiced. Without going into more details, we threw the entire meal away & vowed that after being loyal customers for 18 years, we would never give Village Pizza another of our hard earned dollars. Hopefully, the management will read this & try to bring Village Pizza back to the quality standard that it used to hold itself to.
Food is amazing and everyone is happy, including my wallet.The only bad thing is that I dont live close enough to come back often.
Village Pizza was awesome. My husband and I were traveling through coming from La going to Connecticut. We were very hungry and just pulled in because we didnt see anything else besides Dairy Queen in Subway. The best food I had all the way from Los Angeles I felt like I was at home eating good home-cooked food. I got so full I couldnt finish would go back again anytime
They didnt have salad pizza on the menu but I was seriously craving one. The pizza chef said he would give it a try and this was the best salad pizza I have ever had. I got lettuce tomato and black olive, with a lil of my fave salad dressing was absolutely delicious.

The absolute best place for good tasting quality food in the tri states area. We travel 20 miles just to eat there. Its worth it! Gets pretty busy at times but there is large over flow room to eat in as well as regular dining area.
Food is always amazingNot sure if there’s a new manager or owner, but for whatever reason when you get a soup with your to go meal it’s in the smallest cup I’ve ever seen, the exact same cup they put marinara sauce in. Literally four spoonfuls before it’s a cup of broth which is just a waste of time and money. They always had a normal serving, until the last few times I went. I assumed maybe they ran out of normal size cups or something so I left it alone. This time I checked and gave them the thing back and said don’t waste my time with it, it’s a joke.
Had pizza only..pizza was very good. Sauce was tasty, good cheese and dough, would certainly recommend. Only weird thing was not having counter service, we had to sit down first for waitress service..just for 2 slices of pizza
Great food great service .theyve been serving the tri state are since the 1980s and my family and I have loved it ever since one of the greatest pizza joints in the tri state area .also Bruce Willis stopped in last summer and his wife blogged about how great it was what else can I say

Good pizza - super large portions for the price. The room itself could stand a little sprucing up. The TVs were small, but mostly visible. We enjoyed the service staff, who were very friendly.
Woman that works here was very helpful and made sure there was extra dressing for salad. Very thoughtful and kind. Would recommend
The food is good. Having said that I dont understand the need for waitress service when my reheated slice and one calzone are walked not even 10 feet to me. Especially a waitress that doesent offer refills especially when i make it obiuos nor offer anything else before we go like to go box. But im assuming from eye roll that my asking for the price of extras annoyed her, the fact i ordered it later anyways shouldnt let it matter my choice im paying . Its okay aside from bad service these are tests i do to se who is truly a good server if only a napkin is what they bring and get my cash tip vs verbal, or they just want to be paid to walk food but then how they gona make me greatfull enough to earn the gratuity they expect. I also wanted to order some stuff to go but when i asked for price on refill the other girl didnt know she told me to ask the waitress who imidiately gave me my check with no further offers or any to be exact. I wanted the refill to go by the way thats why asked the price. But no point asking the waitress or dish walker, didnt seam to want further business. Shame food is good maybe next time just to go. Or maybe not.

Its alright and worth a stop. However, they helped my family directly when they needed help with a death in the family. The owners take care of their locals and care about their customers. Ill go there a million times before any other local place just for this reason alone.

I normally skip Village Pizza because most of the staff are less than pleasant. The food is great but if Im going to dine in somewhere, I want a friendly atmosphere. Ill stop in for a pizza or something maybe twice a year if Im shopping nearby (and its convenient).
Awesome authentic Italian cuisine
Ive had a number of good meals here. The standard pizza is just average, but the specialty slices are super yummy. Last week had a sausage and mushroom calzone, highly recommended. Note that the Medium calzone is the size of a fully-grown manatee, so you can easily feed two adults on that alone. Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere -- an all-around nice place to grab lunch.
I’m a trucker. I paid $21.33 for a large specialty pizza. 18 minutes from order to walking out. The pizza was big, thick and good. Everytime I managed to park up there and get out ok. But it’s tight up there.
Got a cheesesteak asked for it not to be toasted. Toasted it came... your not McDonald’s get an order right! Third time this happened to me! I’m a truck driver and had to park in there parking lot because the pilot didn’t have parking... if you want a better cheese steak go to New England
This restaurant does both great specialty pizzas and plain slices. If you and your party are extra hungry, order a stuffed buffalo chicken pizza, you wont be disappointed.

It was bad. Made an order at 5:40 and got there at 6 pm to pick up. Had to wait about 10 min to get it. Not good. Never again will i wait. Also tryed to hand me the wrong order that wasnt mine. What a mess. I never had this problem before in the 11 years going to this place.

Omg the lobster ravioli is amazing!!!!!!!!The only thing is....u better call ahead if u not dining in. If u walk up and order...be prepared to sit all day for your food. One time I ordered....they came out wit my food and aint say nothin.::had the mess sittin on top of the oven...Im sittin there waiting for them to say maam your food ready....one of the waitresses seen me sittin there for three days straight finally checked up on me and went in the back and got my damn food. I would say its too many kids workin back there but kids work at McDonalds and dont f up like that so there werent no excuse....Food is usually the Bombay tho

Saddens me to see this place go down hill . Came up from North Carolina to visit my Family & used to eat here all the time growing up ! The pizza was just so bland with no flavor and dry very tasteless and this has been a re occurring issue the last few times Ive been in here.
They gave our pizza away by accident, however replacement pizza was so good I dont mind.
Poor customer service, poor crust but the pizza tastes ok, crust needs to bake longer, and customer service needs to be improved then I will give five stars.

2021-10-09Pizzeria in a strip mall with plentiful parking and easy access on/off Interstate 84. I Ordered the signature “Village Pizza”. The pizza has an airy, ultra crispy, thinnish style crust with excellent flavor. The cheese and ingredients did not disappoint. Table service was prompt and courteous and the price was more than reasonable. I highly recommend this establishment.

2021-10-31Was craving a good Stromboli....Crust was good but not impressed with the ingredients...canned mushrooms not fresh, green peppers like sccoops for dip. No pop for flavor from the meats either....wasted funds. So if you come here Perhaps the pizza is better. Dipping sauce for it plain also....hope its not the pizza sauce.Proceed with low expectations and only if your hungry and just looking for sustenance.

2021-08-19So I went in for some wings. I was craving wings. I looooove wings. 😊So I saw when I walked in a sign about a price increase on, wings! Great! Not. lolSo I talked to one of the owners about it. Of course it is due to them having to pay exorbitant prices themselves. So, they were $13.50 for 10.Im a big eater.I knew I wasnt getting anything else, so I ordered 20. Now what I expected when ordering was 20 of those little wings that look like they came off pigeons.I was wrong.20 wings of these size, no way . I finished 11 of them, and certainly would have been fine with 10. I have another whole meal to take home! I included some pictures but I didnt think it was easy to tell how massive these wings were. So I just added another picture of my to go box I packed with my 9 leftovers.And I have to say, they were delicious. Lots, and I mean lots of places overcook wings badly. They get dried out and taste terrible no matter the sauce. The opposite also occurs in places that have big wings like these, they come out undercooked.Nothing worse than undercooked chicken. Its gross! These were perfectly cooked. Bravo!I had a little bit of a conversation with the waitress who was also an owner. She was very nice. Service was great. Very accommodating. But I must say I really appreciated that sign, to warn everyone about the price increase!I have had their pizza before and it was great as well. I have yet to find anything to complain about.I do want to mention one inconvenience. You cant put tips on credit cards for some reason. Again, there is a sign posted! Just as you walk in. So at least you know. But there is an ATM!Great job team.

2022-05-01The pizza here is on another level. Ive met people who lived several states away and, when traveling up near this region, specifically went out of their way to stop here for pizza. The prices are fair, the appetizers and desserts are good, and they have great appetizers (try the bruschetta), and sometimes youll catch unique pizza flavors like eggplant pesto or even hot dog pizza. Check them out.

2020-08-17I have had their pie before. My family and I dined in. Pizza was great. I just ordered two pies last Friday night. One large plain and one pepperoni. They looked and tasted nothing like what we had when we ate there. For $31. and change and you gotta get it yourself, trust me its not worth it. Burnt, dry and the pepperoni was a grease fest. I expected better.

2021-08-24Delicious pizza in a welcoming environment. Staff were agreeable to a slightly unusual order and delivered it to perfection. Waitress was extremely kind and kept checking to make sure we were satisfied. Both the restaurant and the bathrooms were clean. Left full and happy.
