I just found a new army & Navy store,the staff was very helpful.i recommend highly,you want it they got it, are will orderf it for you.
Pretty cool place if youre into the military, low prices, and the employees are friendly. But once they sold me a helmet claiming for it to be from the Vietnam war. I did some more research on it, turns out its some Eastern European country.
I just bought some winter boots, wool socks and a wool blanket from Browns Army Navy for an upstate winter cabin trip. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly and made me feel happy to support their business. Saved me a trip to REI. I highly recommend this shop.
I give them an additional star for their selection of products, some of which I have not seen in other Army and Navy stores but, price wise, Ive seen better in Greenpoint and on Myrtle Avenue. I did find better deals on Army socks than others Ive visited. They also had the olive green bandana I wanted.
Customer service has always been friendly and they carry all the big name brands in the construction industry and some military related/inspired gear for outdoor adventures at good prices.
Very good basic selection of clothing and shoes. Always good quality and fair prices in a no nonsense atmosphere. The sales people are helpful without being pushy and returns / exchanges are hassle-free.
Great staff, very helpful and full of knowledge,not pushy salesman or saleswomen, just the right attention to your needs, phone manners are also great and they will set aside what you need as long as your coming, absolutely have nothing negative to say,lots of luck to the staff and Ill be back

Friendly place store well stocked with great items
I was in this store March 5th, 2018. I bought a package of Boxer shorts and a thermal sweatshirt. Both were excellent, highly recommend this store.
Take your $$ elsewhere...Horrible customer service for fake military costume like gear. I asked the owner 3 times for help today he ignored me, walked past me, even called someone to the front to stand behind me and not help until I decided to walk out. He now asks if I need help and laughs in my face as I mentioned his ignoring me. Save your money theres anither store nearby
This Army Navy stores a great place to shop. Theres all sorts of different variations there you could shop for. pretty big store inside. Will not disappoint.
Cant beat a Army and Navy store.

2022-05-14Employees were polite, but they don’t know much about their products. I went in and asked about what bag they can recommend that can withstand the damages of my work. They pointed me towards a rather expensive back pack, claiming its what I am looking for and trusting in their knowledge I purchased it. Less than two months later the stitching is separating, it’s only a matter of time before my nearly 50 dollar bag is just scraps. I do not recommend shopping here.

2022-04-15Unless this store has some secret backend isle full of actual military stuff, surplus and not, they need to change the name. This was just a regular store with a random selection of clothing and maybe a couple tactical backpacks here and there but that was all of the “military” stuff they had.

2018-11-06Excellent experience! I recommend this store to anybody. Very organized. The staff where very attentive , friendly and helpful. They didn’t have the shirt I wanted in stock so they went out of their way to call to have it delivered not just the same day but within less than an hour!! Amazing. They also let me borrow a phone charger while I waited. 5 stars for sure ! :)

2020-08-01As army navy stores go this ones pretty good. Ive bought fairly affordable,up to specs military surplus here for over 10 years. They have sneakers, boots, work clothes & Jean as well as lots of other stuff, like outerwear

2019-03-12This is the best army navy store in the city, I come from Manhattan to get what I need because they tend to have stock on things no one else has.The staff has good recommendations, helpful, they have a unique collection of apparel as I said that not many have in store. Very good prices as well, cheaper than most other army navy stores. Highly recommended.

2020-07-10THEY DO NOT ONLY SELL ARMY NAVY CLOTHING....They do sell other clothing as well... I shopped there on July 9th 2020 and bought 2 for 20 tshirts, tank tops and Black Fila water proof lace up boots for 50 bucks... they also sell tactical boots and sneakers....very good prices....thank me later...
