On 01/06/20 my Daughter went to BSW on 161-10 jamaica Ave and bougjt a wig the LH -BRAID WOW it was $69.99 but all WOW brands is Half of so she paid 34.99 i went to the same store today friday 01/10/20 to niy the same wig they didnt have tje color i wanted so i went to tjey other store 162-03 jamaica ave they have the same wig i want and want me to pay $70.00 for it so i show them the picture of the wig from the store on 161 on the mannequin with the sale sign HL-BRAID WOW 50% off they never sell it to me i will never shop there anymore all the supplies i took from the shelf to purchase i left and my friends wont shop there anymore false advertisement.
This is the only beauty supply store I go to they have everything and prices are very affordable.

Theyll take your money, but wont let you use the restroom. Tells me everything I need to know about how the owners and managers view their clients.

Bought a hair straightener thats super shutty, went to ask for store credit not even exchange, because was told only store credit is possible. When went for store credit first I am vebei told i have to go back within 10 days to get exchange I had to point out least 4 times I went back within 7 days, then started new Bs one after the other so had to come back with a straightner that doesnt straight hair.
This Place layout is nice lots of room to shop comfortably on the Ave..

2019-11-21I wish i can leave 0 STARS ! Save your money if you plan on buying “bundle” packs from here. They are incredibly CHEAP & when the packs are made they literally use 2 pieces of track ! Had I known (all of the packs of hair are chained to the aisles) I wouldn’t have spent my money here ! RIDICULOUS

2021-05-14I have lived on 161st across from this store and faithfully shopped BSW there 2-3 x per MONTH pre-covid and started shopping here again after covid. Yesterday I ask4 ppl for a product nobody could help me. I found it myself after leaving a couple times and deciding to double check. In my hurry to grab the product I needed I accidentally picked up the wrong one (my total basket was well over $150)and tried to make it back the next day after work. I made it 743p jumped out the car and left my mask. They closed the door on me and would not open it for me. Even though both gentlemen at the door recognized me from the day before. I called the store and spoke with sunny, who was very rude , repeatedly telling me he will “hang up on me if I keep complaining” while I was trying to tell him calmly what my issue was. He was so rude I have never had such poor service in my life. I’ve worked I. Retail over 14yrs and never ever would have expected the kind of disrespect I encountered today. I will never shop here ever again. Sunny/ sonny was so rude!!!!!!!! I recommend the beauty supply opposite walgreen and old navy. The service is sooo much better there the level of care needs to be elevated, so sad this store is really going to start losing customers bc of lack of consideration and customer care. #DisappointedSUNNY THROUGHLY TOLD ME TO GO F MYSELF. Lol he was the manager. Smh I can’t imagine how he treats his employees. Smh

2019-06-22BSW is part of the Feel Beauty line of wig stores. For the last five months I have been frequenting this location and getting fabulous bargains. They usually have a few special features of the month and put them on sale. Today there were no special features and no one seemed too interested in helping me. So I browsed around for five minutes and left. I wonder why such a small store would put their wig collection on the second floor with no elevator. There are two flights of steps to walk up making it difficult for some clients.

2017-07-15For being new on the ave they had exactly what I wanted and needed very friendly!! Now this place knows what good customer service is, who ever did the hiring I commend you with your great choices. I normally dont do this but I was really impressed with this store!!!

2019-04-02Can get pretty on a budget cause there wigs and ponytails are affordable prices. Came to buy 1 wig and was able to leave with 3. The employees are also very honest and helpful.

2019-08-11I am not big on wearing weaves or things of the protective styles nature. So Im very hair challenged when it comes to shopping. I never know what to look for or what styles are called I just bring a picture of what im trying to do & hope that the staff knows what I need. Well today I was looking for a particular type of curl pattern to crochet in my hair, so I went in both locations on the Ave but it was the second store(the smaller of the 2) that I was able to find exactly i was looking for thanks to Geniva she was very helpful I showed her a picture of what I was looking for & she knew spot on the type of hair I needed to accomplish the look I wanted. I also love the feel of the hair she suggested so soft & light, & best part the price was very affordable,. Thank you Geniva so much for your help I will definitely be coming back for your expertise on my next look.

2019-10-03One of my go to beauty supplys...& ladies sign up for the points program. If you spend money u get points which equal money so if you have 445 points that $4.45 .. just give them your # to sign up..Also wide variety of hair products, wigs, extensions, bundle deals & makeup..i highly suggest they most likey have what you need... ONLY problem is you have to find parking as its on Jamaica ave
