Quality of service and fairness speak volume about this store and in the guise of Jenny Lei and the entire staff. I say this because I have been wanting to buy my boyfriend his dream watch, a Rolex Submariner, and I thought I do not stand a chance since this was my first time buying and we (boyfriend and I) have been hearing from others that there is no way we will get this. I’m so glad and thankful that Jenny took me seriously when I first inquired and actually followed through. This store truly delivers. My boyfriend was so shocked and flabbergasted! He could not believe what he was seeing, and Jenny helped me capture his priceless expression! This was all topped with champagne and chocolates served by them 😊 It was a perfect moment and we couldn’t ask for anything more ! Thank you very much to all the staff in this store who made this a reality for us :)
My initial experience at the Bucherer Time Machine location started a little rocky. However, I was able to come back the following day and receive 5-star service from Mr. Jordan Lopez. Jordan went above and beyond to help me obtain the timepieces I wanted to add to my collection. I appreciate Jordan’s transparency, in-depth knowledge, and how accommodating he was during the process.
Ive been to some amazing watch boutiques all over the world, but I wouldve never thought the best one out there would be right in my backyard. The sheer size of this store is impressive and they have some awesome art work/sneakers/hang bags on display all over the store. Jordan was an absolute joy to work with. Stores of this caliber have a tendency to be a bit cold but he gave us a very warm welcome and even though I didnt buy anything on my first visit, he invited us back to the store a few times for events and to enjoy a drink at the bar since Im local to the area. Ultimately, Jordan was able to help me get my first sport model Rolex and I am absolutely in love! I cant wait to pay the store a visit again in the near future, I heard they have an awesome ice cream selection :).
Had a phenomenal experience here. When you walk in you are greeted and offered a drink from the bar. Everybody was friendly and helpful. Just wonderful time shopping for a watch. I ended up getting the watch I love from here. I highly recommend this boutique and the reps Sophie and Selene were wonderful. Among many watch boutiques in the area this is truly an exceptional standout experience.
I went into Bucherer on 57th to inquire about hopefully buying a watch I had been eyeballing for some time. I had not planned on stopping in originally but then as I passed by I decided to stop in just in case. Admittedly, I was probably not dressed in a way typically seen as suitable for the establishment in the eyes of most people. So I was hesitant about going in because of my dirty work clothes, decided to enter anyways. However upon entering, none of that even mattered. I was greeted in a very courteous manner with smiles and was offered something to drink right away. I started talking with Sophie(Rolex Ambassador) about what I had been wanting. I know some Rolex models had been very hard to get, and this being my first potential Rolex purchase I have been informed by many ADs that this makes my chances even lower of getting the call and that clients with prior purchase history would get first dibs. Even though that was not explicitly stated to me at this store, I had assumed it would be the same way. Sophie sat down with me and took the time out of her day to sit down and talk with me not just as a client but almost as a friend. We talked about watches of course and then about family and things we have done, places we have been and even hobbies a little. I waited MUCH shorter time than expected because only a few days later, she calls me saying the watch I wanted came in. I had shown genuine interest in the watch and got first dibs on it! She was beyond helpful and extremely courteous and professional amongst the entire process. I was of course excited as I picked up my very first Rolex, and she seemed to share the same excitement with me as we got it fitted, and made sure I absolutely loved the watch. I walked through the store both occasions I stopped in and was asked by many of the staff how my day was and if they could get me anything or answer any questions. The store is also a showpiece in itself. There isnt a fingerprint on anything in there, people cater to every need you may have and the whole environment just brings a wow factor from the moment you walk in. It seemed as if the store did not want you to simply walk in and feel like a customer, they want you to feel like family and you are entering their home. This store definitely has a customer for life from me, and I appreciate help from everyone but especially Sophie, as she spent the most one on one time with me. Cannot wait to become more a part of the Bucherer family as time ages on!
I have nothing but praise about this place. Bought 4 watches over the years and the service has always been top notch. Sales rep Michelle H. helped me purchase the Tudor BB58 Blue and the Rolex Sub Date recently and I couldnt be happier. She is polite, professional, and eager to help. This place is definitely my go to place for any future time piece purchases.
I had such an amazing experience working with Rami at Bucherer. I’ve bought a few watches with him over the years and expressed my interest in one of my dream Rolex watches. I got the call last week letting me know the Rolex I wanted was available for purchase. Rami went above and beyond helping me adjust the bracelet to my wrist and making sure the transaction went smoothly. I was on the fence about wanting to purchase a new watch for a while, I would pass by the store and look at the selections. I struck up a conversation with Jordan and the rest is history. He is so easy to work with, it wasn’t about the sale but really helping me feel comfortable about taking this next step in my life and the watch being involved in this chapter in my life. He really took his time to answer my questions, talk to me about different pieces and made the overall experience seamless. Whenever I get the chance to pass by, I try to make it a point to check in Jordan and it’s as if nothing has changed since when he helped me get my watch. He treats every customer the same and makes the experience for everyone great. He also helps keep me posted with in store events and any new releases. I can’t wait to get my next watch from Jordan.
I recently visited the Bucherer flagship store in NYC and had the pleasure of being introduced to Sophie. I told her that for the past few years I was looking for a new Rolex no-date Submariner. I expected a chuckle, but to my surprise she asked for my contact information and said she would start looking for one. A few weeks later she let me know that she had my watch! I couldnt believe it! Ive never had a salesperson dedicate their time and effort, over a period of weeks to satisfy my request, as Sophie did. She never gave up! When I went to pick up the watch Sophie greeted my wife and I, and we were treated in a very pleasant, welcoming, and respectful manner by her and the staff. The store was incredibly beautiful and eluded a sense of elegance, and along with Sophie and the staff, made for a wonderful sales experience. I highly recommend Sophie to any serious watch enthusiast.

I just had an excellent experience today at Bucherer.I traded in my old Cartier watch and got a very high price for the trade in. With that credit I was able to purchase a new Cartier watch which I am absolutely in love with. Special thanks to my store associate Chris, who was very supportive and helpful throughout the experience.Rachel the store manager also made my experience flawless. Special thanks to her for running the ultimate luxury experience store and for hiring great associates. Igor was also very helpful my first time in the store a couple of weeks back when I was trying on watches.I will definitely be coming back in in the future when I want to upgrade my next watch! 5 stars for sure!

Being an avid collector, I’ve seen tons of watch stores but this one is on another level. The store, the service, the atmosphere is all top notch. I worked with Jordan to find the perfect modern Rolex for my collection. He is very knowledgeable on the vintage/pre-owed pieces as well. I have not left many Google reviews but feel that it is appropriate due to my experience with both the way that the store handles their clients and experiences along with Jordan and his professionalism and knowledge of time pieces.I visited the store on day one of the store opening. After I was greeted by Jordan I felt very comfortable with both his customer service skills and knowledge.I would highly suggest visiting the store if you would like to see a state of the art timepiece and high-end jewelry store along with multiple bars and artwork visible.I would never think twice about dealing with another client associate aside from Jordan when looking for my future timepiece needs!
The best experience I’ve had with Rolex yet! With the pandemic and market going the way things are, it seemed impossible to get a timepiece at any location in New York.Jordan went above and beyond with everything and managed to get me my FIRST Rolex. My experience at Bucherer was world class!!! Jenny Lei was the absolute best sales person I have ever encountered. I had put myself on a list for a watch and when it came in she reached out right away to let me know the great news! When I tried on the watch I realized that it was to large and I didnt know if I would love it! She made me feel like a very special customer that she had been dealing with for ever, but that wasnt the case because we had just met. She put me back on the list for a model that I would love, and assured me she would get it. In 2 days she had it for me and totally earned my business for life! There are many things that set Bucherer apart from all other timepiece jewelers. The service you will receive at Bucherer is top tier to say the least. Sophie is the absolute best and if you have the opportunity to work with her, you will be in the best of hands. I really like the store and visited it several times. Last week I saw a great watch for my wife and we went back another day to buy it.. Jenny assisted us and we had great experience with her. We also enjoyed complimentary ice cream and water which is a nice touch.However, two days later my wife went back to adjust watchs bracelet and the guy helping her was rude, unfriendly and not helpful. After two adjustments the bracelet was back to original state and she went home. The guy didnt even call my wife once he was done and only a friendly barmen told her that her watch is available for pickup.We will adjust the bracelet at home and even though we still like the store it doesnt feel good that service after buying is not on par with buying experience.
Great experience with Mr. Christopher Arts yesterday. After going to many Rolex AD from San diego to orange county to new York. This is where i feel the most welcome with the best sale specialist. Chris not only offered me drinks, which I dont take any, but also went above and beyond in explaining the current shortage and asking about the time i spend in NY to try to accommodate my needs. Even until the moment i write this review, I am not able to purchase my Rolex just yet but I really appreciate the professional service from Mr. Arts.

When you walk into this store, please ask for Jordan. Jordans service was exceptional, to say the least. He is always attentive, very knowledgeable, and well seasoned in the luxury watch department. This is the least professional place you could go to buy a watch, don’t do it. First of all, the customers who frequent jewelers are not knowledgeable about jewelry especially time pieces. The staff at Torneau including the salespeople are even less knowledgeable and will lead newcomers even further astray from making a well rounded purchase. Simply put, the staff are unaware and will up sell you into overpaying on a watch. I went into the store to buy a Rolex submariner for my brother. It was a special gift for him but I felt that the sales woman, Michelle, was more focused on getting rid of pre worn watches than selling me something worth it’s value. When I confronted her on the price ($14,500) she asked me twice if it was for me as if I was reselling. My mind was blown. You walk in casually to spend 15k and someone who earns just above minimum wage is going to insult you for not going along with their insane price adjustment. I only say that because the same year (2020) submariner no date is 11k on 47th street. No wonder most of my friends don’t go into Torneau and why I was told countless times not to do it. But, I thought I could trust a Torneau branch, I was so mistaken. During the sale, the saleswoman even left and told me “she was busy” with another client, RIGHT AFTER MAKING THE SALE WITH ME. I waited an extra 30 minutes for her to finish with her Chinese clients as if they are more important, wow. I have never experienced such a low level of class on 5th Avenue. Moreover, upon the sale, I asked when I could have the box and card to which she told me the watch was in fact not covered by the original Rolex Guarantee, only Torneau’s. Another horrendous move by her that was non refundable. She said that as if I was to accept it. Probably her terrible English. Poor choice of staff on Torneau’s part. In all, they practically scammed me into paying an extra $4,500 for a Rolex that would’ve sold for $10,000 without the original papers and box. They lie. They lie and they think they’re smart with their lack of educated sales positioning. I learned a good lesson to never go back there. Why would I spend money with a company more interested in Chinese tourists than a potential return client who actually lives in New York City?
This is by far the best place to go for your watch needs. I worked with Jenny and I cannot express how happy I was with the service A+++! From start to finish she helped me find the perfect timepiece and I am extremely grateful. This is the only place I’ll be shopping moving forward.
Purchased a watch online with papers and ordered with next day shipping. After a day I didnt receive any updates on order so I called customer service. I was told the watch could not be sent overnight, and due to a typo, there were no papers on it either. Ive purchased from Torneau a few times but it seems like the customer experience has declined greatly over time. Two stars because they were able to cancel the order right away.

The Burcherer Time Machine is a Watch Connoisseurs Dreamland. What a wonderful experience I had trading my Rolex Day Date II, for a new Rolex Sky Dweller. I first contacted Monique Shire their Certified Pre-Owned Buyer. Where, I was given what I felt was a very fair offer my Rolex Day Date II. She put me in touch with Jenny Lei, at the Bucherer Time Machine on 57th Street. What a pleasure I had working with Jenny Lei on my purchase of my new Sky Dweller. She was a true professional, so personable and provided terrific follow up. Due to product shortages, the watch I wanted wasnt readily available. But, Jenny stayed in touch with me for five months until it arrived. When I arrived from Atlanta, I was treated so well and I was given a tour of their 3 story showroom. Being in professional sales for many years, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience dealing with Jenny Lei. (Shes the Best!!) I believe she has been with them for 22 years. Im already looking to buy my next Rolex from Jenny Lei.

He takes the time to keep me up to date on new arrivals in the certified preowned section as well as make suggestions of the multiple jewelry and watch options available to me. He’s also been key in treating my referrals with the same quality of service he gives me. It’s actually led to them coming to events and making new purchases. Jordan has been instrumental in changing my opinion of store/ brand.
I came into the store this weekend with my family visiting for my 30th birthday. Jenny was extremely helpful and attentive. I’ve been a long time and loyal customer of Bucherer (f/k/a Tourneau) since 2013 and purchased 12 time pieces through different locations across the country. Time Machine location is by far the most impressive in terms of size, selection and design.But the main reason why I keep going to Time Machine location is for the sales representatives and service. After all, that’s what it’s all about — the purchase experience and the relationship you form along the way. I work with Jordan at the Time Machine location, and he is pure class.He’s willing to give you his honest opinion, and I consider him as an advisor and consultant. All the purchases I make are meaningful / non-trivial purchases (for me) so it’s important to have someone in your corner.Jordan always comes through in procuring difficult or low-stock pieces. We once rerouted a Speedmaster on its way to a different location that was only one left in the entire Bucherer system. Because of Jordan’s help, we were able to get the time piece in time for a special date/occasion.Jordan is also sincere in his efforts. I’ve received a few calls for highly sought pieces in the Rolex line but ultimately declined because they weren’t the color / combinations I was looking for. With every piece, Jordan is always thoughtful and considerate, trying his best to find the best matches for me.My last purchase was a gift for a friend that I didn’t intend to purchase that day. I stopped by to get one of my watches adjusted. A casual conversation with Jordan led to deciding to make the purchase that day because of his knowledge — increasing demand / low supply on that model.If you are lucky enough to have access / chance to visit the Time Machine location, I strongly recommend that you ask for Jordan!
My experience with Bucherer Time Machine began unexpectedly. I happened to be in Manhattan when my cousin asked me to join him for a visit to the boutique on 57th St. He said that he had been waiting for a while for his favorite Rolex and that he received a call that it was here. Upon entering the boutique, we quickly realized that we were in for an experience. This was going to be so much more than pulling out the credit card for a purchase. To start, the boutique is three stories and designed magnificently. I am a watch collector and the boutique is a destination in itself. Each brand with its own area, own lounges and sometimes even their own bar. We were seated in the plush Rolex Lounge area with our selection of premium coffees, teas and other beverages. A cappuccino with the Bucherer B, thatll do just fine! Next we met with Sophie, the Rolex Ambassador. I have never met a salesperson that was as knowledgeable, passionate, welcoming and funny as Sophie. She made the whole experience memorable and, in fact, unforgettable. The watch she brought was breathtaking and the fitting was done to perfection. Upon leaving, I had mentioned to Sophie that I was so impressed by EVERYTHING that I would only purchase from Bucherer going forward and mentioned a few timepieces I was interested in.Literally one week later, I received the call or rather the text saying my watch was in. Not only was I ecstatic to add another watch to my growing collection, but now I had another opportunity to take part in the Bucherer experience all over again! Bravo Sophie and the entire Bucherer Team.
I am writing this review to share my absolutely wonderful experience at Bucherer TimeMachine!I have been in the market for my first luxury watch for the last few months. I went in to Bucherer as a brand new client and I met with Jenny, who is an expert on several brands including Rolex, Patek, Cartier, Omega, etc. Over the last few months I have visited with different jewelers and ADs and at times the experience can feel intimidating. My experience with Jenny was the exact opposite — she was very warm and welcoming. We discussed my interests and what I was looking for in a luxury timepiece. She walked me through different models and I tried on several pieces. She also discussed the strong relationship between Bucherer and brands such as Rolex and Patek. But more importantly than all of that, she really took the time to get to know me, separate from the fact that I was interested in buying a watch. We ended up chatting for what felt like an hour and really got to know each other — it was a great conversation and felt much more like building a relationship with someone, rather than just a business transaction. Since our initial meeting at the store we have continued our conversation about my first watch over phone, text and email, and Jenny has always been very responsive to any questions I have. Ultimately I ended up purchasing my first watch from Jenny recently and could not be more happy with my decision.I would definitely recommend seeing Jenny at Bucherer to anyone interested in jewelry or luxury watches. Truly first class service and a place where you can really build a long-term relationship!
Was in the market to purchase a two tone Skydweller. Met with Jenny and she was beyond helpful. She walked me through the watch details as well as the order process as well. I just got my 2nd watch Rolex from Tourneau with his help ‘ IGOR’. He is the sale manager there. And he has helped me look for my wishlish watches since my first rolex datejust. And yes, today i just picked up my another dream watch ‘ rolex submariner date ‘. Which is very rare and very hard to find. But I finally got it!!!!! Very impressed and 100% satisfied. I cant say enough great things about Bucherers Flagship American store. The space is inviting, and immersive. Ive been collecting watches for almost 30 years and hands down this is the best watch buying experience ever. I came in for the first time in September of 2021 without any intention of picking up a timepiece. I was just walking by and peeked through the window and was drawn in by the grandeur of the showroom. Everyone was so welcoming and inviting. I walked around a bit and headed towards the Rolex showroom. I started talking to Jordan, Jordan Lopez. We talked about watches and collecting watches for a while and I expressed my interest in several Rolex models. I didnt own any Rolexes at the time, but my wife did. I was interested in getting His & Hers Oyster Perpetuals, among some other pieces. Jordan and I spoke for quite a while and he took notes on what interested me. Jordan offered me a drink and brought it over from the Bar. It really didnt feel like a typical shopping experience, it felt like two old friends sharing their passions for watches. Jordan was very professional and extremely knowledgeable about all things watches. I stuck around a little longer and browsed some other parts of the store. As I was leaving Jordan bid me farewell and that was that. A couple of weeks later I received a call from Jordan. I was a little surprised to hear from him. Jordan had something for me. Actually it was a piece for my wife. It was a beautiful 31mm black dial Oyster Perpetual. This began our sales relationship. I have since purchased several pieces from Jordan, and every time I speak with him I learn something new. I visit the store on occasion just to drop by and talk watches with Jordan. Jordan and Bucherer always make me feel so welcomed. I truly love this place. I highly recommend it, and I highly recommend Jordan Lopez. He is a man who makes dreams come true. Bought my first luxury watch here a few years ago when it was still under the Tourneau name and branding. Visited again a few months ago to check out the newly renovated store and was very impressed - much better lighting and furniture, extensive brand variety, big pre-owned and vintage selection, and theres even a bar/cafe setup on every floor! Feels like it would even be a nice place just to hang out with friends!Colin is awesome. Truly a fellow watch enthusiast with outstanding service. Had the chance to work with him on my first brand new Rolex purchase which I just picked up yesterday - certainly would like to work with him and Bucherer again on future purchases!
Simply cannot say enough about my great experience at Bucherer this year.The selection and newly renovated showroom design is incredible - with fantastic brands (Patek, Rolex, Omega, Cartier and MANY more) spread throughout three floors of comfortable, welcoming and luxurious retail space. I could spend hours here, sipping on coffee (thanks!) and talking watches.Pro tip: check out the pre-owned selection in the basement - there are some truly special pieces there!But what really sets Bucherer apart is the team that makes it all possible. In particular, the incomparable Christopher Arts. He knows his stuff, is enormously warm and welcoming, and was able to help me pick up one of my dream watches. In short, he made my Bucherer experience an extremely special one.If you’re looking for a watch, Bucherer (and Christopher!) has to be your first stop.
I visited Bucherer TimeMachine back in February to inquire about the timepiece. Based on previous experiences at other Rolex boutiques in the city, I had very low expectations and was even skeptical if I would be taken seriously as a new customer. The moment I walked through the door, I was immediately welcomed by Jenny Lei. She was very honest about the supply/demand situation for steel sports watches, but encouraged me to get on the waitlist anyways. She was quick to shake my hand, take my contact info and provide a tour of the showroom where many amazing watches and jewelry were on display. Fast forward to several months later, I received a text from her stating that my Rolex watch had arrived and was ready to be picked up.I could not be happier about my experience at Bucherer. Jenny is an amazing sales associate who really cares about building new client relationships and providing the best experience possible. Because of Jenny and Bucherer, I have the opportunity to enjoy an amazing timepiece that will be cherished for many generations. Additionally, I have trust that Ill be well taken care of with my next purchase whether it be a diamond ring, or another beautiful timepiece.
Had a 100% amazing time purchasing my pre-owned Rolex Submariner from Jenny L who is the Rolex sales specialist at this location. The selection was amazing and had found my dream watch on the 2nd floor (must check out both floors!). She was very helpful and had me trying on another watch back and forth before I finally decided on it. It was reassuring to know that they offer a 2 year warranty on their preowned watches and are an authorized dealer. I feel like I got a really good deal and she even threw in a couple extra goodies! Overall, 1 month later I’m still super happy with my purchase, have had zero buyers remorse, and plan to buy from Jenny L again. Absolutely recommended!
I’ve been a Tourneau customer since 2019. The new place, Bucherer, is now my favorite place to not just buy or look for timepieces but to simply hang out with my sales person, Jordan. As a watch enthusiast, it is vital to have a knowledgeable sales person, warm, and most importantly, honest. Jordan is one of the reasons why I’m sticking with Tourneau/Bucherer.

Although I still go there and make my purchases, I think the place has lost its bizaz. It is hard to get service, but once you do they treat you with respect. The have many brands and plenty of stock. The do all kinds of repairs. Dont expect bargains. The do trades but not with all the watches. I suggest you check the value on line prior to going in the store.
This review is long overdue. I was exceptionally pleased with Rami and his outstanding service at Tourneau. In these crazy times, it’s always great to work with someone you can genuinely trust and make your watch buying experience feel impeccable. He’s helped me with purchasing 2 amazing timepieces, my Cartier Santos 100 and my favorite Rolex Submariner Date. I definitely will continue to work with him for all my future purchases. I have had the pleasure of working with Michelle at Boucheron for both vintage and modern pieces. My 1972 1655 Rolex explorer 2 is from her with the most amazing patina - She is absolutely fantastic and goes above and beyond every time. Her demeanor is so friendly and professional and I will continue to work with her for many more purchases to come

I want to start off by saying that I was blessed to have met Jenny on my first experience at Bucherer TimeMachine. She was able to help me obtain beautiful time pieces and every time I was there they greeted me and my friends with a warm welcome and offered us drinks. We were able to sit and talk while we admired our watches and enjoyed our beverages. Again I want to say thank you to Jenny and I for sure will be getting all my watches from her.
I have been to many different Rolex boutiques around the world and this one did go above and beyond. I had a pleasure to deal with Mr. Rami Riman who was very professional, but most importantly, friendly and helpful! I am looking forward to come here more often to extend my watch collection but also my jewelry collection thanks to Sarah Ploss who is a true specialist and professional. She is very responsive and takes her time with costumer trying to help him/her exactly what he/she needs.
I requested a crystal on my watch to be replaced since it was scratched. The store said they can do it, but only if i service the watch. I explained to them that they just serviced this watch less that 2 years ago, and it is unnecessary to service it again. They refuse to just replace the crystal. That is extortion of money

Good luck getting them to answer your call, reply to your voicemail or get back to you after you contact them through the website. I’ve been trying for weeks. To the management - don’t even bother with the generic reply asking me to write to you through your contact page, I’ve left my information many times through the contact us page, watch pages that I’m interested in (not even Rolex) and on voicemail. If you want to make this right, you’ll be able to reach out to me by cross-referencing my name in your records.
Excellent experience with Bucherer TimeMachine! Beautiful store and great experience buying my first watch from them. Wanted to make a special mention for Jenny Lei, who has been extremely professional through out the process. She made my visit very pleasant by finding time to discuss watches and advised me on my watch selection. She has been very patient with my queries for several months and always provided prompt and precise updates. Finally she delivered the good news just before the New Year! For anyone who is seeking lauded timepiece like the Daytona, here is how much it will cost you to get one from this AD: At least $200,000.Here is my experience on how I was told about this information. I was not have any luck with my local AD, because I was getting mixed messages. Keep in mind that every AD I spoke to, I told them Im willing to wait as long as possible along with buying other timepieces that Im interested in.At last I was given a brutally honest answer and was instructed to call the AD where I bought my GMT from. I bought my watch from Torneau before it became Bucherer. I tried to call them couple of times but I guess they were busy. Finally I was able to get in touch with a rep. I introduced myself and also told me that I only have once purchase history from here but was willing to work my way up.Then the rep tells me, and Im quoting him, We dont even start entertaining the idea of a Daytona without a minimum purchase of 200k from our store. He then tells me, Im busy right now so Ill call you back. and he hangs up. All I couldve think at that moment was, I hope he has my number... I didnt get a call back since.I know this experience sounds ridiculous and I feel the same way, which is why I had to write a review.Anyone from Bucherer, I would encourage not to reply to this review. Would I tell you which representative that I spoke with? Depends. But Im more on the side that you wouldnt do anything so I am discouraged to tell you who it was.
I was sold a scratched Rolex watch and after seeing a scratch I immediately contacted a staff who rudely blocked my number.I complained to customer service and they blamed me for scratching my own watch. They said I was wearing a bracelet on my hand the day I bought a watch. Thankfully, I took photos in the shop where there was no bracelet on my hand. No one apologized to me and no service recovery been done. After numerous fights they offered me to buff my new watch which is painful as who buffs a newly purchased watch.I invested $13000 into this watch and were willing to invest way more but instead of showing their appreciation and respect to me as a customer they humiliated me, blamed me and disrespected with any possible way the could.The worst experience in my life.
That in September 2020 I met RAMI RIMAN on a visit to the Tourneau Time Machine . I was looking for a particular ROLEX model . I chatted ROLEX with RAMI RIMAN . I asked RAMI to add me to his list of want to be clients. On occasion I would contact RAMI , to say hello and ask ROLEX news. My piece was : 126622 40mm YACHTMASTER SLATE DIAL . About 2 weeks ago RAMI RIMAN contacted me offering me a blue dial YACHTMASTER, he stated he knew I was waiting 6 months. I struggled, but took a pass. I was thinking I may have made a mistake. Yesterday RAMI RIMAN texted advising me that the SLATE DIAL had just arrived, was I interested ? that was at @ noon, I was on the train at 1 30pm . The interaction with RAMI and his associate was warm and professional. I was very happy, very excited, & proud to have had an AD contact me and offer the piece I had been looking for, for 6 + months. What an Excellent experience at Tourneau, I stopped in a few weeks back to look around as I have had a few pieces on my wish list, the pieces I’ve been looking for are in high demand at this time. Jenny L and I started chatting as she spent a lot of time with me discussing the timepieces I was interested in. She had taken my name down for a few pieces and explained theres a long lead time which I expected. I did not feel rushed one bit. Within less than 2 weeks, Jenny reached out about one of the timepieces that was on my list. When I went in to purchase the watch, the service I received from Jenny was second to none, I felt as if I had been a customer for a decade or more. My wife and I are avid watch collectors. Weve purchased from a few of the other multi-brand watch retailers in NYC, but wow–the newly unveiled Bucherer TimeMachine flagship is a whole new experience.Although we made it clear we had just stopped in to casually look around, Sharmina was still incredibly gracious, welcoming and helpful. She put as at ease and we ended up trying on quite a few watches, and in the process actually fell in love with one that we ended up taking home.Since then the service has been amazing. When I occasionally stop in, Sharmina remembers me and makes me feel like a VIP. We plan to do most of our watch shopping here from now on, thanks to Sharmina and the rest of the world-class staff at Bucherer.
A Palatial High End Timepiece & Jewelry Boutique with Exceptional Service & Friendly StaffSo I stopped by the Bucherer TimeMachine store at 12 E57th street near Madison Avenue with the intent of locating a few specific timepieces while perusing their vast inventory on display within the sacred walls of this palatial store that consisted of multiple levels of fine timepieces and exquisite jewelry, culminating in an upper level that housed a bar. However I began my search on the lower level of the store.As I wandered from one display case to the next I began to realize that this store had a vast inventory that would require a substantial amount of my time, if I was going find what I needed to buy.My choices were either Panerai or IWC but since I’m very picky and very particular about exactly what I want, I’m also equally hard to please. And so I immediately realized that my search was not going to be easy as it was similar to looking for the proverbial needle in a haystack.The first case that I came across had a Breitling that I had been looking for a while back. A manager on the floor saw me standing by myself looking around and immediately approached me and promised to send me a sales representative to help me out.A few minutes later a young attractive woman showed up and opened the showcase and presented me with the Breitling, then let me try it on. The service was very professional and very friendly and she didn’t pressure me to buy the watch at any point. At one point I mentioned Omega, so she suggested that we go to the upper floor as they had more watches on display there. As soon as we reached the top level I noticed a really elaborate bar with a huge array of liquor and an actual bartender at work. This was a really nice touch!!! I was very impressed.However, what impressed me even more was the huge display of watches on the wall to my left and the very first thing I noticed was IWC right next to Panerai!! Michelle Hung, the sales representative who was assisting me, let me try on several timepieces, beginning with the Omega Speedmaster Coaxial Moonphase Chronograph and then some Panerai and IWC timepieces. We sat at a huge table and she assisted me in trying on one timepiece after the other. I was never rushed even once snd she let me examine each timepiece in detail. I have only seen this kind of great service at Apple so I was beyond impressed.To be honest I must have been in the store for over an hour but my shopping experience was so much fun and I was made to feel very special. Can you just imagine for a moment a store representative giving you a full hour of undivided attention? This alone makes for a 5 star shopping experience.The decor of the store was very lavish and had a very comfortable ambience about it. But without Michelle Hung’s personalized attention to my shopping needs at the store none of the above would be relevant. It is because of representatives like her that customers actually keep coming back. And I will come back because I was able to try on five timepieces that I actually like, I was given ample time to compare them and now I simply have to make a decision on which one I’m going to purchase.To be precise, the service included showing me multiple timepieces, letting me try on all of the timepieces that I requested to examine, removing any plastic stickers that impeded my view of any part of the watch, seating me in a comfortable setting, engaging me in friendly dialogue, understanding my needs as a customer (which included not rushing me and not asking me if I wanted to buy the watch. In other words not putting any pressure on me). In a nutshell, Bucherer representative Michelle Hung complied with every wish a demanding customer has, which, in the realm of fine luxury timepieces is normal. It is this shopping experience that separates Bucherer TimeMachine from other boutiques that sell similar merchandise
The new and revamped Tourneau which is now Bucherer is nothing like you’ve ever seen. The decor along with my favorite rolex signage paired with the immaculate service does seem quite dreamy. One can only marvel at all the beautiful pieces showcased at the Time Machine. The name certainly speaks for itself as you will notice all the vintage pieces you’d never imagine seeing.From the first day that I met Lauren, she has kept me well informed about the brand and has followed up every step of the way. She is definitely a rare gem at this flagship and her client relationship is second to none.As for customer service and quality, Rami is a veteran SA who has continued to deliver the first class experience. His skill and devotion for his clients is unparalleled. My family who has been clients for over 10 years can vouch to that.Looking forward to building a legacy relationship here.

TL;DR Bad Experience/UnprofessionalIve been collecting watches for years and worked with many AD/Boutiques and Ive never publicly left any negative review. However, I feel like I need to this time.On 8/26/2021, I left AP and walked by the newly opened Bucherer TimeMachine store on 57th. Ive never really had a positive experience with Tourneau but thought since Bucherer acquired them, things might have changed since Bucherer in Europe are well known for being very professional and their exceptional customer service.First I walked in and stood there for 5 minutes and nobody seemed to care to come greet or help out. Finally someone came talking to me after I looked at her in the eyes for 20 seconds. After a brief chat she asked another sales to take down my information.While I was putting down my info, the sales looked at my watch and said is that an IWC? (I was wearing an AP quantieme perpetual and holding an AP bag on my hand). I raised my hand so he could have a closer look, he stared at the dial and said its not an IWC?. I said no. He then asked what is it?. I then told him it is an Audemars Piguet and he looked very confused. Clearly he had no idea what the brand was.I am not offended by someone mistaking an AP for an IWC at all, but it did feel like he was not properly trained and knew nothing about watches. Very unprofessional.He then asked what I was looking for. I told him Im kinda interested in the Rolex OP41 with turquoise dial. He immediately said I can tell you it is impossible even before I finished my sentence. After that, he said nothing else, didnt felt like he wanted to engage more so I left.I definitely understand it is not an easy watch to get at the moment and wasnt really expecting to get it from them at all, especially given that I dont have any purchase history with them. However, his attitude still shocked me, clearly they are making too much money and didnt felt like they need to develop new clients.Friends, if you are looking for an AD, there are plenty in the city. Please shop around and hope you get the timepiece you are looking for.
I picked up my 4th watch from Tourneau today which happened to be a popular one that I was on a list for since August 2020. The experience of picking up the watch was amazing and that has held true from my other 3 experiences as well. It has always been great and Im looking forward to more in the future. Couldnt recommend them more as their staff has always been top notch!
The customer service is awful. The employees excuse for each of my visits, if you can get them to acknowledged you are always I am alone.Thank you for the response, and I am pleased you will be doing an internal review. I want to be more specific on these occurrences at the 601 Madison Ave location. The first was on Wednesday afternoon on 5/12. The security guard would not let me in the store. He told me to come back later, and the reason was that there was only one salesperson on the floor. The second time I was able to enter the store on Friday 5/21, at 4 pm. No one greeted me, and as I stood in front of one salesperson for several minutes, he told me there were three people ahead and me and said nothing else.Thank you for offering me an appointment to assist me in purchasing a timepiece, but I will have to decline. The Rolex Boutique Wempe on Fifth Ave was able to help me make a purchase.

Jenny Lei is an outstanding and essential asset to the Torneau, now Bucherer “machine”! She always takes exquisite personal care of me on behalf of my timepiece acquisitions, and I feel privileged to know someone like Jenny in the retail timepiece space with such expert, friendly, helpful knowledge. She is patient and precise! By the way, I’m not writing this because I’m hoping a Daytona shows up! Not at all. Foremost, I am giving 3 starts for its vast selection of brand, service wise its negative. I suspect that it is because the store is new and the staff were simply not yet trained. I am not against the sales rep, they tried their best but they appeared to be unknowledgeable.I was excited about the brand Bucherer as I saw it in John Wick movie and the Time Machine was featured on Hodinkee. My friend and I went in today hoping to first learn about the Carl F. Bucherer watches, and also want to check out the other brands they carry as well. Upon arrival there was a brief greeting (simply a Hello) by the staff, which is a good thing, I guess, so we thought we are allowed to browse freely, but it turned out that we were simply abandoned. We went straight to the Bucherer section, hoping someone will be there to assist us since it is their house brand. But no, none were to be found, we stayed near the section for a little bit and I thought the sales reps were just too busy (although it was Monday, the store was nearly empty) and we went straight to the second floor. We had to grab a staff and ask for help, the staff was KIND enough to offer us drink while she asked someone else to assist us, the drink never arrived to no surprise. Someone came finally but the rep was not very much helpful, we asked question but rep was uncertain of the answer. I tried a 39mm watch but was told it was 41mm!! My friend wanted to use restroom but he was given wrong direction multiple times and he ended up travelling up and down the floors before finally found the way. We went back to the Bucherer section and waited and waited and finally came an unknowledgeable staff, I asked if the movement is a in house movement but the rep told me to google it for better answer. I decided to give them one more chance and went to the basement to see Nomos, we waited like 10, 15 minutes and of course no staff came to rescue, I finally asked one rep as she came to the display case if I can try one, the rep said yes but ask me to wait for someone to assist (to be fair the rep was in the middle of something, but not with other customers). My tolerance has reached the limit and I had to apologize to my friend for waiting. We left angrily and disappointed. Few blocks away we went into another Bucherer/ Torneau location on Madison, though not great, but was finally able to find out more about the Bucherer caliber.
My wife and I had a fantastic experience at Tourneau with Jenny. She made the whole process as seamless as possible - from choosing a piece, ordering, (lots of waiting!) as well as regular updates on delivery and purchase/sizing etc. Jenny provided excellent client service and we very much look forward to working with her, and the great staff in Tourneau, in future.
What an amazing store and experience. I have known and worked with Rami at Tourneau (now Bucherer) 57 for a number of years. Great guy - honest and pleasure to purchase from and learn about watches. The new store is spectacular. No detail was spared from the furniture to the art to the watches. It is a place that you want to spend time at having a coffee or drink. If you do, definitely ask for Rami.

BUYER BEWARE: SERVICE GUARANTEE IS A SHAM! I purchased a Baume & Mercier watch here in 2011 that included a lifetime of service guarantee (battery change and tune up), which was a key reason for purchasing here. Watch worked perfectly until about 2016, when I took it to the store, and they delivered on their promise. It was serviced and battery was changed at no charge, no questions, and watch was in their records.Well, my watch needed another battery change this year so I went back, and to my surprise, they had “no record” of my watch ever having been purchased there. The clerk looked through his records for some minutes and came back to dismiss the watch as not being from the store. I called his manager, explained I remembered the date of purchase AND the first tune up, which would have been registered in their service logs somewhere. He too, came back saying it was not purchased there. Lucky for them, American Express, the card I used to purchase the watch, does not keep records of individual purchases past 10 years... (FYI) which I strongly suspect they knew that policy as they encouraged me to find proof of purchase with that transaction.The manager even admitted they migrated their CRM a couple of years earlier, and had the audacity to say that no records could have been lost. He offered to tune up my watch complimentary for “this final time.” I encouraged them to look at their video footage and search the transactions from their end - they declined. They stuck to their message and continued to lie!Wasted an hour of my time debating this and a lot of money buying from them. I’d suggest you avoid, there are plenty of nice watch stores a block away!
I know there’s many mixed reviews for this place, but at a time where it’s difficult to find the exact rolex one is looking for, they came through!! Colin was such a great help in finding it for me and having everything set up when I arrived. He went above and beyond and made my purchase great. Definitely great service!!
I came in to return a watch I had purchased online with the intent of buying a different watch instead. I told the woman who processed the return that I wanted to make another purchase. I stayed in the store browsing for ten more minutes. No one came up and offered to help me. In the same time period, two men came in and both were offered assistance within seconds. I do not appreciate this type of treatment and will be making my purchase elsewhere.
What a pleasurable experience!!! Rami was incredible to work with, I was very undecided on a push gift for my wife and Rami and Lauren took the time to walk me through a few pieces and Lauren was nice enough to wrist model ! Rami’s attention to detail is unmatched, from the initial greeting to the wrapping of the box and hand delivery to my double parked car. Can’t thank you guys enough, she loved the gift!! ❤️
Customer service is sub par. Would not recommend dealing with Rami. The whole experience was extremely underwhelming and after completing my purchase, they never responded again to any emails/inquiries.Staff definitely has a preference when it comes to the type of customer they want to approach. Im just starting out my career and have many years ahead of me of watch collecting. But will be taking my business elsewhere. That is the difference between an administrator, who understands the business, and people who solely do it for commission; short sighted, dont put effort into building new relationships.Would NOT recommend this location. Tourneau at Bryant park offered extremely better service.
Bought a sought after Tudor BB58 in Blue from Jenny Lei during the holiday season. Ive had no prior purchase history with this AD. I stopped by to see if they had any on display. This is my second review, first terrible one. Ended up visiting this store three times. During my second visit, I put a required large deposit on a watch to be transferred from another store. During my third visit to buy the watch, I was told the watch I wanted AND PUT A DEPOSIT ON had been sold. Johnny then proceeded to sell me on a watch double the price of the one I was going to buy. Actually comical how terrible of a salesperson he was. After the manager arrived, she said there was nothing that could be done except refund me for my deposit...thanks so much for giving me my money back for a product you already sold! Truly the worst customer service I’ve ever had when buying a luxury item. Save your time and wallet. You can get better prices and the same warranty elsewhere in a lot less time. If only Tourneau could actually offer me a TimeMachine to get the 3 hours of my life back.
Definitely great service and staff, I spent almost two months looking for a Rolex watch and after visiting different stores like Wempe, Barneys New York and the Rolex boutique, It was at Tourneau where excellent and quality service was given to me. They dont only have the best and more beautiful time pieces, they also have great professional sales associates. I am so happy with my watch.
Ordered a watch as a present for my husband online and it was available for pick up in the store- we go to the store to pick up the watch I ordered for his Christmas present and after making us wait more than half hour with people just staring at us (almost a 8K Rolex.)Hanna came to “help” us after making us wait for nothing.The watch was already paid for just to be picked up but she (Hanna tried to sell us something else saying the watch I wanted was not as valuable or weighed as much as the one she was suggesting I buy. By this point I was discouraged and upset because my husband was with me- then I said to Hanna I spoke with Katie earlier to come and pick up the watch. Katie comes into the picture and says she has to check to see if we can take the watch with us today (keep in mind we already paid for this watch in full with their credit card) and I kid you not she seriously says to me “it’s common sense if you order a watch online on a Saturday you can’t pick it up the following Tuesday” - while I’m trying to explain to her before I even ordered the watch it says “available for pickup today” on the day I ordered it. Rather than trying to understand what I am saying and the fact that I spoke to her before I even drove from queens to the city to pick up the watch- she decided to insult me by saying I don’t have common sense- but it’s okay because I’m 25 years old, an immigrant of brown color with the ability to buy a Rolex watch and she thinks she can discourage me but she can’t . She does not represent Rolex and at the very basic cannot provide decent customer service. I think that it is a lack of common sense when someone is trying to pick up a 8K watch and A below than lesser average sales representative cannot just let that happen. But no I guess because it was an online purchase you have no commission to get so you make yourself a complete fool trying to sell me something from the store and convince me to cancel my original purchase.I’m sad to say I can no longer spend a dime at Torneau. I don’t believe they treat all customers this way only if you look a certain way like the way I look.I have to now cancel the order that I already paid for and my husband does not get the watch I bought him in time for the new year at least.But I will support Rolex and find another distributor capable of representing the brand.If you are not someone who can fit into the crowd here don’t walk in there expecting to get treated with a basic level of respect. And it’s not about the money- you can have it but it’s like they’re mad at you for having it. This is how I felt and the only way I can explain how the hell today happened
Love the new place, the service is white glove service, great bar(espresso is great) and of course Jenny Lì is simply the best.. it’s my 3rd piece buying from her(def not done)..My business Partner Frank was sincerely impressed (his 1st piece)Highly recommendedCharles
I visited the 5th Avenue store shortly after opening hours and found the staff to be not very experienced in watches not very customer friendly.The saleswoman whom I spoke to seemed bored and annoyed when I was asking information about the watch model I was looking for. They had a few of them in store but trying them on was limited to a few seconds on and off the wrist and the watches were quickly back into the window even before I could get a feeling of the watch on my wrist. This store is not for people who are passionate about watches and who are in for the purchase as much as for the chat with fellow watch enthusiasts. Go there if you want to have the impersonal « give me your credit card, take your watch and leave » type of experience. Take your business to someone else who’ll be grateful for your business and also your interest in watches.
Fabulous selection of medium to high end watches and timepieces on 3 floors. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, cheerful and extremely helpful. I experienced no pressure from anyone to Buy right now. I am a collector and enjoyed the opportunity to view the new offerings of so many manufacturers. The store also offers a large selection of pre-owned watches they have serviced and of premium quality.
My wife and I went into the store in NYC this morning within 10 minutes of the store open its door to possibly trade my GMT-C for the new Rolex GMT Batman. Met a salesman who was extremely arrogant with a greater than thou attitude. A saleslady came to assist who was much more pleasant and offered drinks but we declined. The salesman brought the Batman out for me to inspect and he advised the watch is a rare commodity and it sells for about $12,000 in the open market. I gladly gave him back the watch and left. I will never buy another watch from Tourneau.

2022-06-19I’ve never left a Google review before, but felt like I had to this time around. My experience buying my first Rolex could not have been more perfect. The store is in an amazing location, and was extremely luxurious. I truly felt like I was making a special purchase, which I was. I have been waiting years for the opportunity to purchase this Rolex- a 36mm Datejust with a Wimbledon dial and jubilee bracelet. I connected with Sophie, the salesperson who assisted me, through a good friend of mine who has worked with her before. After waiting patiently, I was finally contacted with the opportunity to purchase the watch I’ve been waiting so long to buy! I can not thank Sophie enough. I also want to say that the bartender was great as I waited to make the purchase in store, and Seline, who assisted with the purchase in store, was also amazing. Thanks again!

2022-03-30One of my most enjoyable watch purchase experience. The boutique is beautiful elegant, staff was super friendly. When you come in , plz ask for Jenny Lei, you won’t be disappointed . I can say Jenny is the most amazing SA I have ever met not only in the States but also global wide since I travel a lot. She is exceptional, very knowledgeable on the Rolex brand & products. She toke good care of me and my girlfriend during the selection process, moving us to a comfortable while private sitting area, with coffee and chocolate served. Answered all my questions and explained all the details, she also helped me sizing the watch. The whole process is just smooth and enjoyable. I can’t wait to come back and buy few other pieces from Jenny at Bucherer. Thank you so much for this amazing purchase experience.

2022-02-28Where will time take you? -- to Bucherer TimeMachine, for the ultimate luxury watch buying experience in New York City. Three HUGE floors of the best available watch brands, located right on 57th Street in the heart of NYCs prime shopping neighborhood. The store is brand new and has beautiful modern design and technology. There are always cool and unique vintage pieces for sale as well! Plan ahead, you need AT LEAST an hour to see the entire store from top to bottom. The staff are incredible and welcoming. When I picked up my watch, the bartenders/baristas were super friendly, hyping me up for the moment and so genuinely happy for me as they provided champagne. Liz then took great care of me; moving us to a comfortable location, sizing the watch, answering my questions and ensuring my moment was special and worth the wait! Lastly, in particular, I cannot thank Rami enough for helping me acquire the watch of my dreams. I met Rami at the temporary location during renovations and he invited my wife and I to visit just before the store opened to the public. Rami has been a pleasure to keep in touch with and I look forward to buying my next watch (or one for my wife!) from him at Bucherer.

I was treated so well by Amber Zhang, she gave me a tour of the 3 story show room and provided great follow up which I truly appreciated. She went far beyond anyone I have ever met and was able to locate a rare Cartier watch that we were trying to purchase for over 2 years! Amber Zhang got it for us within 2 weeks of meeting her, guys I can’t make this stuff up Amber is truly amazing and works so hard for her clients. 2022-06-29It’s my first time to buy Rolex here at the Bucherer. Last three month I came here to visit and look for my first Rolex watch. They are so welcome and served the drinks even you want to look around. I got helped by Christopher and he put me on the waiting list.Then only a few months i got called by him to pick up my first Rolex. I came to pick up and again Christopher helped me to set up and introduce how to use and take care of it. He is so professional. I appreciate and excited that finally i can effort it.Hope it’s not my last watch from here. and again Thank you Christopher Art for helping me a lot even after sale he still keeps in touch with me. New from AD, for a retail price, excellent communication and customer experience at this location. 2022-04-18Visited this store in January with a friend to get a wedding gift for my groom. Rami was so kind and helpful! He went above and beyond to getting me a piece just in time for our wedding. he mentioned that it would be at least 3-6 months to get a Datejust and 2 months later he was able to secure a watch for me! Got married this weekend and my husband loves his new watch. The staff here are amazing.
