I cannot say enough about Stephen that helped us when we needed it. He answered all of our questions, helped us decide what size truck would be best to help save us money. He offered suggestions on moving tips and tricks and better ways to move.He was very polite kind and courteous. He walks us out to the truck & went over all the features with us to be sure we were safe and comfortable with driving it. If I had to suggest to a friend or family to rent a vehicle to move it would be at Budget Truck Rental with Steven hands down one of the best experiences Ive ever had renting vehicles. Thank you Stephen for making my experience easier and much quicker with your tips and tricks.

Employee at shop was rude and extremely short when explaining insurance options. I attempted to return the truck back with a full tank of gas but didnt notice that gas station attendant did not fill it up all the way. I was charged an extra $30 PLUS the 1/4 of a tank of gas since I returned the truck full with 3/4 of gas after traveling 120 miles for the day. I tried to explain to the same man that I did not purposely intend to come back with Gas below full (had receipt to show proof) and he didnt care. He gave me the morning to come back to fill it up but I could not get to Elmsford in time since I work in Manhattan. Now- I am all about keeping my end of the deal but I at least attempted to fill the tank up with Gas. As a returning customer, I thought I would be giving a pass. I would have been more than happy to pay for 1/4 of a tank of gas that I missed....but to charge me an extra $30 on top of it?!

Simply horrible. Your reservation is basically like playing the lottery - they may or may not have a truck . But you wont know until the day you need it. Completely unreliable. Save yourself the headache - Go to Uhaul.

They didnt have the truck we reserved and didnt offer any alternatives or even help finding another location. The absent manager kept yelling at a mechanic who had never attended the front desk and was near tears while the absent manager yelled at him on the phone. We waited for 50 minutes while most on line were sent away without a truck.

I wish I can give this place zero stars. My experience was horrible. I had a truck rental reservation for 9am. I arrived at the location at 9am and the store was closed. The store hours on Sunday are from 9am to 1pm. I waited for 15 minutes. No one arrived. I called the customer service number and the representative I spoke to was very unhelpful and very rude and i asked to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor was also very unhelpful and stated there was nothing they can do to help. That we had to wait to the store manager arrived to open the store. We asked for a different location to pick up a truck and they stated they did not have anything available. Im beyond upset. I will never do business again with budget and will not recommend anyone to use the elmsford location or any services from such a horrible business. Overall a horrible experiance. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. GO TO UHAUL. I made a big mistake.
