I like to think of myself as a somewhat tough individual.. but every time I go to this place it makes me want to cry or rage I cant decide.. if you love your family member do not let them go here... I dont know how the state has not shut them down years ago..

Awesome place! They really care and treat every resident as their own family! Fantastic place to work as well! Ive been here about 3 1/2 months and they care about me and my team and appreciate us! The remodels are absolutely gorgeous! The rehab team are amazing at what they do and seeing how far they get people really amazes me! The nursing staff do their best and are awesome at what they do, much respect to them! The housekeeping crew keeps the place looking and smelling great! And the Maintenance department does a great job keeping everything in working order! What a fantastic place! Definitely one of the best in Buffalo! Would send a family member here for rehab or full time nursing! 10/10!

I hate calling them THEY ALL HAVE ATTITUDES I wish their calls are recorded front desk and the lady who schedules the visit are nasty their voice tone is bad it really makes the center look so unprofessional.. I tried to speak to the scheduler to make a visit for my aunt she’s yelling that she can’t hear me with attitude first I was in class when she called me and I had my airpods on and I kept telling her I apologize and she was rudeee telling me there was no visits making our life’s harder that they were all booked so since she wasn’t trying to give me an appointment I had to make my sister call and make the appointment for me and she tells my sister I have a attitude which I didn’t she was mad and aggravated because she couldn’t hear me but when my sis called she gaved my sis an appointment for TODAYYY !!! When she told me they were all packed and I told her why u giving me an attitude and she’s like no you are like who train these people like who even gaved them a job??? A place like buffalo center I expect to feel comfortable enough to speak to anyone and it doesn’t feel like that..
What can I say? Most of the aides and nurses are very good. Most give great care, considering what they are up against. Short staffing, made worse because some of the aides walk out, particularly when they find out that they are going to have to work with one other staff, which makes it around 2 of them for eighty people. There are not enough towels and washcloths, sheets, and blankets for everyone to get properly clean. On occasion it takes another shift to finally get linens to get us cleaned up. Meals are, um , hmmm mostly that is the nicest thing I can say. They recently changed vendors and the new food makes the old food seem like it came out of the kitchen of a 4 star restaurant. The physical therapy department is excellent, and occupational therapy is great as well. I have never seen, nor heard anyone abuse patients or hear any families complain about neglect. That alone is a good reason to consider it as an option if you or your loved one have tube feeding, a colostomy bag, and a catheter. No incontinence issues where cleanup must be immediate. If this does not appear in the reviews there will be a problem
I have been trying to get my daughter to the dentist now for at least 6 months with no help from any one. I can never reach any one to talk with. I realize they are busy but they could at least acknowledge they got the message. I made a visit appointment on line and they claim they claim they didnt get it. They cant get them ic they dont check. I feel this a very u helpful staff. I hope there check this week highlights some of these problems.

This is the BEST NURSING FACILITY! New renovations, friendly staff, great food, amazing customer service. Everyone is so helpful. The staff all love their jobs there and are eager to pitch in where needed. the TEAMWORK is outstanding. I have also met all of the Directors and managers and they are all top notch! i have never seen a better ran facility. If you are looking for a place for your loved ones or for a job, this is the place for you!
If I could rate this zero. I would. A family friend that is currently in this building, is being treated like garbage. They wont bathe her, they wont give her her pain meds, they wont change her. Her food is always cold. Shes repeatedly called for nurses and social workers. And nobody comes to help her. This is unacceptable. Dont put your loved ones here or dont go here for rehab. Not worth it.
This place was suppose to be temporary for rehab for my cousin. Shes constantly ringing for the nurse and never able to get any respond from anyone. My COUSIN called me last week Wednesday crying about being told that she tested POSITIVE for the virus. The way my COUSIN have been treated is terrible. She went to this rehab for physical therapy and been here since November and now shes still there with the virus. She had called me to say that two other patients tested POSITIVE for the virus and were moved out of her room. I explained to her then that chances are she would be tested and the results might come back POSITIVE and this week it certainly happened. The nurses some talk nicely to you and others dont have any respect or care about how they talk to you. My COUSIN expressed to me that she wasnt going to take the vaccine but I was told that they tricked her into taking the vaccine. I dont like this rehab and have plans to filing a complaint.

My experience with the Buffalo Center for rehabilitation was terrible. When I got there from the hospital they told me my medicine did follow me. So they gave me what ever for pain I dont know what it was. Well two day prior to the Wednesday evening that I came in stuff started to lack professionalism. They gave my pain medication all in one dosage and then stopped all together. I ask for a supervisor and didnt see one until I decided to leave. When they brought my things I seen that mt 30 day supply was fully gone down to the last column. I said to myself, yeah I cant stay in the ghetto center.
Trying to get ahold of anyone in authority is next to impossible, I have been attempting to reach the new activities director for a week with no luck, I also wanted to set up a day and time to visit my husband but the mailbox is full. I have also left messages in the voicemail of the social worker, with no return calls, so frustrating.
My grandmother has been in the care of this facility for a little bit over a month. We were incorrectly informed that her insurance and been cut off for her rehab/physical therapy treatment, which was fine at the time. We were then told 6 days later that she had in fact been cut off completely of her services which equated to about a $500/day difference that we are now responsible for paying for out of pocket. When my father asked for discharge papers to be drawn up, nothing was done, and we are still responsible for this fee. In addition, they have had several family meetings with the social workers after she has been served cold meals, been served no meals at all, missed medication, and been given dirty silverware after she asked for a fork to eat her salad and the nurses responded by asking if she could simply use a spoon. The carelessness and overall incompetence of this facility have now put my family in a hold for thousands of dollars, and overall not served any improvement to my grandmothers health. The facility is outdated, unclean, and unprofessional. The head social worker does not return phone calls, and frankly pawns all issues off to others that do not offer any help, and ultimately made a mistake costing us thousands of dollars. It is an absolutely disgusting and greedy establishment. Ultimately, we are in the hole because the home has told insurance she no longer needs to be in their care, but has told us we would be taking her out against medical advisement. Two clearly contradictory statements.
I had a great time when I was in the facility. I know the financial department was very helpful with my finance situation. And the staff were very kind.
I was a resident here for 4 months, and i loved it. I have been to 3 other nursing homes, and they were not as nice. The staff here were so polite, the building is clean, all new renovations, and they have real Tim Hortons coffee, not that gross cheap stuff. Next year when I get my hip replacement i will only come back to this place! Thank you
This is the worst place you can go or let any of your family members go to.. dirty staff are rude not helpfull at all. supervicer treatning patients so your dont report them. They mess with the wrong one today im not scared to report them and I will file a lawsuit too against the facility the supervicer and 2 employees...they refuse to give me my medication and lie about having a very important machine that I needed to drained the fluids from my leg
Fake reviews are for show! The truth is this facility has no business being open. Calls are not returned to family members, most of the staff is rude. Patients dont have anywhere to put their dirty laundry so it sits on the floor. I was lied to about my family member that was there, saying they were waiting for staff to come evaluate my brother so he can leave, when In fact they never called the facility my brother was living in, he was only at Bflo centers for rehab, 41 days in that place and all of a sudden 2 days before he ended up in the hospital and died he had sepsis, pneumonia, severe dehydration and severe malnutrition, and I had just seen him 3 days before he was hospitalized. These reviews in the last 7 months are to boost their reviews to make this place look good.
My dad has been in and out of nursing homes for the past few years and this was the best place he was in. The nurses know their stuff and the Nurse practitioner who does rounds 6 days a week is on top of making sure everyone gets the right meds on time. The staff is friendly and accommodating. 5 stars!!!

This place is disgusting. The “great” reviews are from the people that own this poor excuse of a rehab facility or the employees that need to keep a job. My sister has been in there for several months and the care is getting steadily worse. Most of the staff are good people trying to go a hard job. But some are just down right nasty, rude and ignorant. The patients are being left in their own waste for hours on end despite having called to be changed hours ago, meds aren’t being properly dispensed, property is being stolen, the list goes on. DO NOT PUT A LOVED ONE HERE!!!
Terrible place. As previous reviewer stated. You cannot talk to anybody in authority in person. Voicemails, they do not call you back.The photos shown here are not the actual facility inside. I’m not sure I would want to leave my pet here!
My aunt is currently at this rehab center, and they haven’t done virtually anything. She is not checked on throughout the day/night and my family is told it’s because my aunt doesn’t call for them. They should still check in on their own. She is left unchanged from her night clothes and diapers until 3pm in the afternoon. They don’t do anything until a family member goes in and has to demand they do their basic job. I feel sorry for the patients in this rehab center because from what I’ve seen and heard... these people don’t seem to care about their patients and if they do, then show it and tale care of your patients. it should never have to wait until a family member has to come in and complain to these nurses and aids that nothing is getting done. This place is absolutely disgusting. My mother is here, solely due to the fact we cant afford anywhere else, and she is miserable. She sits in her own waste for hours, they dont have the proper staff or equipment to accommodate her, and the staff is completely neglectful and downright rude. They never give her meds she wants, and push the opioids at her like its candy. They do not care about you or your family, only money. Please do not send anyone here.
My grandmother is a resident, and has been for almost 10 years. The amount of change, that i have watched this facility undergo is beyond impressive. When Centers Health care took over, everything changed. the new renovation is beautiful. We would never consider taking grandma to another nursing home. I am a nurse at a local hospital, and i would refer all of my patients here! It is by far the nicest Long term and rehab care place in the City of Buffalo!
Extremely short staffing makes proper care impossible. This facility smells like urine really bad. On the weekend they had 1 aide for the evening for an entire hallway of residents. My mother & her roommate were both soiled, so much so that my moms roommate had a puddle of urine underneath her wheel chair. I came to visit my mother around 3 pm one day, i was on the back of the elevator & a man in a wheelchair was attempting to get on the elevator as well & an aide stepped in front of him & closed the door & laughed she said she dont normally do that but its 3 o clock(shift change) I thought that was so mean.

If i could give no stars as a rating i would. Most of the staff are good and give excellence care. There are those who shame people when they cant do something or walk out and refuse to give care. Weekend are hell becauseof there being often only one aid for 80 people and billigerant nurses who will only dispense meds and not help. The food is a joke. I orderd out frequently and spent money thst i shouldnt of had to spend because the food was ridiculous do not go here if you can help it the rehab floor has nersing home patients that belong on another floor where they can get the help they need.
Jobs are phenomenal. Administration really puts in the effort to help you and the residents making it a pleasure to work there. The therapy department is out of this world. Renovations continue showing this company wants to make a difference in the heart of Buffalo. Love it here and you will too.
A family member was here for approximately two weeks, following an extended hospitalization. Aside from the prison-like atmosphere of this dump*, it seemed a seedy and shady operation. Im glad his stay is over.* I use the term dump because it felt and smelled dirty and worn-out, and many of the staff acted as if they were doing both patient and family members as if they were some grand favor just by being there.
My dad was here about 8 years ago and it was terrible, however now my mom is a resident, and she really loves iti was told the facility was bought a few years ago and it clearly has been a big change.I had a question about staffing, and went down to the offices. I could not find the administrator, but was helped by the hr manager who helped answer my question. I also had a question about my mothers clothing, and she helped me locate the social work and housekeeping managers, who located my mothers things. i have also been able to speak to nurse floor managers, maintenance, and food service - nothing but good things.They were all very helpful, especially during the holiday season. thank you
I went and applied for a job, and the building was so clean.,the residents all seemed very happy, and everyone greeted me with a smile. The interview was very informative, and it seems like a cool place to work. I really i hope i get the job!
This place is a nightmare. Do not be fooled by the pictures on their website. This is living hell. The weekends are the worst. Grossly understaffed. One or two aids at best. The nurses are overworked. The residents are sitting in their waste all day long. Their beds are completely soiled. Hardly any clean linens on the weekends. No clean blankets or sheets or washcloths. And the rooms smell like urine. I do not recommend this place to anybody. It Kills me to even give this one star Rating.
To whom it may concern:Writing with impetus from the Buffalo News watchdog series on WNY nursing homes, I experienced first hand numerous deviations from both medical and administrative norms with the staff of The Buffalo Center for Rehabilitation and NursingLast year, my mother, Nancy Starr, when having entered the facility, I was able to maintain due diligence to the care she was receiving. And what I experienced was disheartening.There were times when my mother never received any meals. On one occasion my mother, having soiled herself, requested assistance, but in her own words stated that the aide responsible for her care that night ignored her calls for help. Initially I found this statement incredulous, but when I went to the individual in question, my mothers assertions proved correct. I’m amazed I’m not serving time after the aide told me he wasn’t going to respond to my mother’s call(s).
I used to work at this facility through a staffing agency. They stopped using agency, because they have a lot of in house and regular staff. i have worked at a lot of nursing homes in Buffalo, and they are always working short in the nursing department.... but not this place. I will go back and reapply after my contact with agency is up! if any nursing staff are looking for a job- they have full benefits, they host huge parties for free for staff, they take the staff members families to Darien lake for free, they give away Christmas gifts, and a lot more. The company really cares about the employees! i cant wait to go back and work with the residents again, and be back on the team.
If i could give 0 stars i would ! I went there to visit my dad and as walking up to the building you get smacked in the face with a bunch of smokers right in front of the door also seen an elderly man in a wheelchair with an oxygen tank smoking ! Then we get inside and all you smell is urine my dad is on the 3rd floor and the room is filthy bathrooms filthy and my dads bed is falling apart the headboard is falling off the wall and you see peeling drywall ! My dad was served his dinner if you want to call it that on his tray was 1 piece of ham 1 piece of turkey no bread or roll to make a sandwich and a tiny scoop of noodle salad ! When we asked the nurse at the desk for a roll it took about 20 minutes for them to bring it but by that time they already took his tray with the meat so all he had was bread and noodle salad ! The staff on that floor seemed very uncaring rude and bothered when they were asked to do thier jobs ! My dad is immobile so he uses a bedpan and i was there for almost 2 hours he kept pushing the nurse button and nobody responded to get rid of his urine ! We brought clothes to him wednesday and he has not got them yet they said they have to tag them with his name but he cant even go to the common area in the wheelchair without clothes so he is stuck in this tiny room which also has a roomate ! The nurses seem like they hate thier job and your bothering them ! I am looking into getting my dad switched to a different nursing home that actually cares ! I even heard a nurse yelling and cursing at one of the patients ! If they do this in front of the family what are they doing when nobody is around ! Horrible place horrible staff !

I wouldnt recommend no one putting a Loved one in this nursing home..I had my mom here for one day and she was rushed back to the hospital because of neglected care.. they dont have the proper equipment to take care of Residents. The staff, at least most of them are not caring, rude and take their time assisting Residents. Residents are roaming freely in the hallways and my mom is incompetent.. hell Naw I got her out of this facility fast..they will make your Loved one situation go down hill to the point they will end up dead..
This facility is really outstanding!!! The staff are really focused on each individual person to give them a warm and comfortable place to be. The administrator is always focused on ways to improve the facility to continuously reach greater heights! Thank you for everything!!

My husband went to Buffalo Center for rehab after he got hurt in an accident. The rehab department is the best! They have equipment not found anywhere else and the therapists are top notch. When my husband was admitted he was not sure if he would ever be the same but the therapists encouraged him to the point where he was able to walk better than before!

Hospital recommended I send my mom. I was not sure based on the reputation but I could not be happier with how things turned out. The staff is attentive and caring and were always accessible any time I had an issue. Thank you Buffalo Center!
I have never seen a place like this in my life. They did not follow drs directions. For dinner she was given 2 slices white bread with 2 slices cheese between. That was it. No condiments or any additional food. She went 5 days without having her sheets changed. Obviously not enough staff but if you dont have staff it should not be open. Had dr appt. When dr saw her He said she needs to go to the hospital for proper care. Physical therapy would have her start on something and then they would forget about her. I would not trust any of my loved ones there, not for a minute.
As an employee i firmly enjoy working here.The staff here are very plesent and hard working.Working with the resadents is very rewarding. Talking with them every day and seeing them smiling makes me smile knowing that we are truly helping them the best way we know how.

When looking at places for my dads rehab, we received a recommendation from a social worker at ECMC, to send him here.... NO REGRETS! my Dad was part of their new GO program, my dad got a custom food menu daily (he said it was delicious) TIm Hortons coffee (his favorite) they had so many activities for him, and a smart TV with free Netflix in his room. i am truly impressed. Thank you Buffalo Center for taking such great care of our Dad!!!
Do not ever send a loved one there. My brother was there a month & a half for a fractured hip, was doing well enough to be released after Xmas. He hasnt been eating which a nurse told me and I could see, he was diabetic and they had doubled his morphine, no explanation as to why. I received a call last Thursday morning from an ER dr ( not the rehab place) saying my brother was seriously ill with pneumonia, severely dehydrated and malnourished. So In 3 days all this happened? The nurses never returned any of my calls prior, nor did the social worker after calling 2 times. My brother passed away this past Friday. Pretty sure it could have been avoided! The staff is extremely rude!
This place SUCKS! DO NOT BRING LOVED ONE HERE PLEASE! my husband is here for Iv therapy and after about 2 days he hadnt gotten his medicine and went back to the E.R, after he was told things were straighten out w/his meds he went back to face the same situation, he constantly has to carry around the Iv therapy medication hanging from the stint in his arm to go search for a nurse to take it off when its done, nurses are incompetent and most of the time I wonder if they got their license out of a cracker jack box, the aides linger around the halls or sleep at front desk and even housekeeping clean only the very little open spots around the room. I am currently searching for a place closer to me so that I can get him out of here!.
If you want to ease your mind and get quality care from a place that genuinely cares about its residents and the staff treating those residents with state of the art equipment then buffalo center is the way to go. Fantastic place!
Horrible. Elevators dont work. Nurses arguing for being short staff. Medication not beong distributed when there suppose to be. Dirty. Its as if the nurses are pulled from JobCorp or a half assed basic program. If my best friend has to be remitted to the hospital due to not getting his meds correctly, an attorney will investigate.Dont swnd your loved ones here. There no compassion, no accountability, no heart. These people are going thru hell enough, they dont need some ghetto person man or woman sitting there giving attitude, delaying care or ignoring them. People that have to go there need reliability, care, heart and most of all urgency to their condition.Theyd have no stars but im required to put 1. STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE ANYWHERE IS BETTER THEN THIS PLACETHEY SHOULD CLOSE THIS PLACE IMMEDIATELY!!!
Judging by the constant screams of pain that emanate from the building, and that when asked about this the nurses pretend to not notice what is going on; I would not feel comfortable with a loved one receiving treatment from the buffalo center.
Dont let the nice lobby here fool you, the nurses here are NASTY. Today my 90yr old grandparent asked for help putting on a new diaper(because no one has changed out the old one) and the nurse told her to do it herself
I have word at buffalo center for 4 weeks now and feel that this would be greasy place to make a difference. The staff are very friendly and the residents make my day. I would recommend to anyone who ask.
Buffalo center is a great place to work. The fourth staff is phenomenal in caring for the Dementia residents.The staff demonstrates the dignity,care and love that residents deserve.
This place needs to be shut down, do NOT send your loved one here. They are hurting more than helping. Just go in there and take a look around, you will easily see the FILTH, and after talking to a few of the head nurses you will realize these people are there for the money, not to help anyone.

My father was here for less than one evening because he was rushed back to hospital due to a panic attack from being told he could not have anything to eat the evening he arrived also was denied meds and also was denied a phone he had to share a room even though he has a horrible infection and an amputee he said it felt like jail he clicked his nurse button repeatedly and no one ever came in so he had to go in hallway and scream for over 10 minutes before anyone came in this place is awful and should be shut down immediately I am contacting a lawyer and media to handle this

It has been very difficult not being able to see my mother during this pandemic, the staff have been very supportive and caring of both my mother and my family. They go beyond their responsibilities to ensure that we stay connected and informed with our loved ones on a daily basis. No matter the multiple daily phone calls, I was always well present when my mothers well-being was inquired about. And now that I have finally been able to visit my mother, I see that she is doing very well and is well taken care of. Its a great place to fall in love and I totally recommend it to everyone. Love you guys for all you do and your amazing service. Thanks

2022-07-27I recently stayed at this facility for 2 weeks of rehab. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The therapy I received was second to none. They took care of me and helped me regain my strength to go home and encouraged me to get back to walking. The staff was kind and attentive to my needs. They treated me like family. My room was spotless and always cleaned/cleaned .. Thanks everyone!!!

2022-07-22I called this middle regarding my better halfs dad who required a home to reside in with additional consideration for his ailments. The staff could never have been more pleasant and simpler to treat. We visited the office and it was exceptionally perfect and very much kept up with. The inhabitants we addressed were all extremely cheerful and happy with the consideration they got. Im extremely cheerful and energized that my family got this office. Much thanks .

2022-08-01My parents were residents here for many years. He was treated like a family member. I am forever grateful to all the staff.The staff is always really very friendly and not face friendly just because you go there to meet your loved ones. Plus the facility is always clean everywhere!

2022-06-23If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is horrible unless you want you loved one neglected and practicality starved. Theses people have 0 compassion. Most of the care providers spend the majority of their time on their phones. My mother fell at least 3 times and injured her head and face. The only care she received was a rubber glove filled with water to put on her face. She never had an MRI or x-ray. I could go on all day about the neglect and lack of accountability. The person in charge was never available, and when she was available all she did was say she would address our issues but never did anything. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!

2022-06-10My uncle is here and its only been a day and i am highly upset with how he’s been treated so far. My uncle said he rung his bell to alert staff he had to use the bathroom and staff left him in feces for hours. This will be the last time i hear of anything like this because there will be major consequences! It is neglect and whoever the lady staff member is.. she needs to be fired immediately! What if he was ringing the bell for something else? And if i hear of anyone doing anything but what they are suppose to do consider yourselves investigated! So, do whatever it is you need to do to get your staff in check! If they refuse to do their jobs correctly fire them ! This is unacceptable ! My elderly grandma (his sister) had to wash him up when she barely can walk herself without help! Thats not her job! Im disgusted and scared for him. How do you do defenseless elderly people like that? My God! And hook his phone up in his room so we can call daily . Messing with the wrong elderly man!

2022-06-28Absolutely horrible. This facility killed my mother. And she DID NOT have to die. Understaffed! UNDERSTAFFED UNDERSTAFFED!!!! Then if you do ask them god forbid it’s like they are doing you a favor. My mother was dependent on oxygen. When I found her deceased on the 18th of June she DID NOT have her oxygen in. The oxygen In which she was dependent on.One of my biggest regrets in my life was putting her there for rehab. It’s just a paycheck to people. Some of them don’t realize it’s other peoples loved ones in there. Some of the staff should be ashamed of themselves and the place should be shut down. I wouldn’t give it 1 star but I had to in order to get it posted.

2022-08-02Very rude, unprofessional staff. While there visiting an acquaintance, a nurse was screaming at a resident across the hall, and accusing him of faking pain. Also acquaintance I was visiting was waiting for nurse to complete colostomy care, while sitting in her own feces for more than 20 minutes

2022-08-17Everyone was great, a bit nervous at first but after meeting the staff and how prompt and attentive I guess everything is fine.I loved that the place is clean and my mom is taken very well and I love how they take care of her she is doing so much better since she has been there a great one for my mom Thanks for being the place...

2022-03-26This facility is not equipped to properly care for your loved one. The nurses are nasty and abusive. Your loved one is likely to die suspiciously under their care. They have been in the news multiple times for health code violations. And the parent corporation, Centers Health Care, is engaged in a blatant campaign of Google review fraud to cover up what would otherwise be mostly one star reviews.If you read through the reviews, you will find many suspicious five star reviews. The most suspicious reviewers are the ones who also gave five star reviews to other skilled nursing facilities throughout the state, all owned by Centers Health Care. Some of these reviewers somehow managed to have a great five star experience at several different nursing facilities, long distances from each other, all owned by the same corporation. This is a clear indicator of review fraud. You can verify this by clicking on the reviewers names. Under the Reviews tab, you will see a list of all the other places that were reviewed by that reviewer. When you find a reviewer that has left five star reviews for other nursing facilities, follow the links to the review pages for those facilities. You will find the same trend of suspicious five star reviews for all of them. Click on Place Details and note that all of these facilities list centershealthcare.com as their main website. If you dig around on their home page, you can find a list of other facilities they own. Look up the Google review page for any of them and you will find the same thing... a large web of fraudulent five star reviews that you can keep following around to other facilities owned by Centers Health Care.If you are reading this review, you are likely in a similar situation that I was. My father was in need of rehab and any decent facilities in the area either had no openings or were not covered by his insurance. We were given the choice of this facility and three others that had horrible reviews. The only differences between the others and this one were all the fake five star reviews, which I did not look at closely enough. I chose this facility based on fake reviews and I have deep regrets about it, although there really werent any better options.The first day of his stay, my father could not get a nurse to lift a finger to get him food or a drink. He was told to use a vending machine or order out because he missed feeding time. Not realizing that he was on speakerphone, a nurse was caught in the act of being very nasty and quickly straightened out when she found out he was on the phone. He died the first night there and the communication about the cause of death was extremely suspicious.If you are reading this because your loved one needs rehab and you have a limited choice of facilities, I am sorry for your situation. Our health care system is truly broken.
