Infinity is the worst group to deal with they dont care about their patients. They dont listen to their concerns. As far as I am concerned they need to go. All they care about is getting their patients discharged even if you dont feel stable. I really hope someone looks in to them because I have heard nothing but bad things about them. Nurses complain about them because they dont answer them. They just dont seem to care at all. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE!!!!!
This is the worst hospital experience I have ever had. I waited 12+ hours in the waiting room for a doctor to give me all of 5 minutes attention and say he didn’t care what we did next it was up to me. People were crying in pain and getting sent back to the waiting room the entire time. They wouldn’t even give blankets to anyone despite having people sit in uncomfortable chairs for hours at a time to be neglected. Avoid at all costs.
Brought my father there and the online wait time stated to be 25 minutes and was there for over 2 hours before i tried to ask a nurse and said there was no way and there is many people and to talk to a supervisor rudely then when i asked tor a supervisor they refused to come down and the lady in the front desk said to call the 1800 then a person a wheel chair couldnt even go to the bathroom and another patient had to take him because there was none there to do so
They neglect and starve their patients by serving inedible, cold food and they wont make sure their patients receive their doordash orders so they can stay alive. Staff are completely unprofessional and dismissive.Patients shouldnt have to scream in agony because theyre not being treated, they should not have to cry and beg to be acknowledged when the nurses are in the same room. Their entire family shouldnt have to call the hospital to make sure their family member isnt being neglected, not that anyone answers the phone or is the least bit polite about helping. The incompetence and carelessness of this facility is shameful.
I have been hospitalized 4 times in the last 6 months, each time at Buffalo General, at my request. If youre unfortunate enough to have to be in the hospital, this is the place to be. Highlights include:1. Room service type meals.. You get a menu, choose what you want, pick up your phone and its in your room within 45 min. Thats right... room service just like the Sheraton! (And the food is really good. )2. The staff is incredibly kind and compassionate. I havent met one person who treated me like a number, or who didnt take the time to explain things so that I understood.3. It is the cleanest hospital I have ever seen. And I dont know who does it. No one had ever cleaned in my presence. Kind of like Disney World where the wait underground and climb up through the manholes.Phenomenal hospital!
Entire GI department is absolutely horrendous and the front desk staff (at least) is discriminatory. - Wait time at the entrance is 20+ minutes and not efficient. I was called and asked to come 1 hour earlier than my original appointment, arrived 30 minutes after that and was told they were now running 1 hour behind - my 10-30 minute procedure turned into 4 HOURS due to this. Stood at the front desk window while the staff finished their personal conversation, before handing me paperwork and going directly back to their conversation before the window even closed. While in the waiting room my SO and I could clearly hear the woman at the other end of the room speaking with a patient who did not speak English and had a translator, she was being asked personal information regarding her GI issues and we could all hear the questions and the translated answers. HIPAA violation?? After I was taken back my SO said she was told to reschedule her appointment and when she left the front desk staff began laughing, poking fun and continued to discuss her and her file. Triage nurse that came for me began announcing my personal medical information in the hallway immediately and I had to ask her to stop and wait until we were in the surgical suite. Anesthesiologist sat at the desk in front of me for hours without a mask on, prior to my procedure. GI surgical/recovery nurses seem to be more interested in being prison guards and dont appreciate patient rights. Some nursing staff do not wear visible name tags and will refuse to give their name. I did not feel safe or cared for by Paula or Danielle when they were refusing to remove my IV after the procedure because I had to sit for 10 more minutes, after having a full discussion with me. When I complained about this to the nursing manager I was dismissed and told they were just following the usual protocol... Dont forget medical staff are not the law and you have patient rights, its okay to ask to leave after your anesthesia has worn off and you have a ride home. This experience was SO bad I have even changed doctors so I dont have to endure another procedure here. Hope this helps a poor soul considering this place. Dont.
My 87 yr old father was transferred from another hospital. I was never notified by either facility of the transfer. I am the Proxy. He was in ER for 2 days before they fed him! He was sleeping from the pain meds. When I finally found him, he was covered in Urine from all the IV diuretics they had been giving him so he wont die from his bad heart. I was appalled at the way he looked and smelled! I got someone and we changed his whole bedding and gown. It took about 20 min to get help for that! Patient care has really gone down hill a lot. As long as they are quiet and breathing, everything is good. One nurse didnt even know what was wrong with my father and said if we wanted to leave, she would be happy to get us discharged! I just looked at her like she was crazy! Where have all the good nurses gone at Buffalo General? Please come out!
Your ER should be re-named The Buffalo Clinic. Although I would probably get faster service in a clinic. I saw people walk out after waiting HOURS for treatment. How do you post a 60 min ER wait time on your website yet, we spend 6hrs in your ER waiting to be seen? It’s not that crowded. Since being here, you’ve only drawn blood and continue to take blood pressure. Can’t even get into a room. We saw people puking in bags and those folks ended up leaving due to the wait. People are leaning over the waiting room chairs. Sick. You pull in waaaaay too much money for this kind of ‘treatment’. If this turns out to be something that needed immediate treatment….
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! I would give less than a star if I could!. I mean I know its covid but thats no excuse to leave a patient who was brought in by ambulance unchecked on by anyone after they are put back in waiting room!!! My daughter had a medical emergency and I wasnt allowed to sit with her not to mention we waited for 4 hours to get a room Noone tells us anything! We had to leave and get no care
0 stars. Worst hospital Ive ever been to in my life. Would much rather be at ECMC or Sisters. Admission got my friends name wrong 3 times. Almost gave her the wrong wrist bands. I was so nervous for her going in. Waited four hours with no one to even take her to the bathroom while she sat in a wheelchair crying in pain. Picked her back up and took her to another hospital. I dont think they try to save lives or help people here. This place is just an insurance ATM it seems. Just look at all the other reviews. I hope you decide not to come here ever.
The staff in the ER is the coldest bunch hospital workers I have ever seen. You say thank you to them for doing you a service and they either never or grudgingly say your welcome. So cold to the patients and yet so friendly to other hospital workers is this hospital staff. There is an admitting nurse in the ER and she is so mean-- she wears glasses and has short gray hair. She acts so aggravated in her handling of every single patient yet she laughs so happily with other hospital staff members. She is like a schizophrenic. She coldbloodedly belts out peoples names too to get their vital signs! Go to ECMC instead.
The worst patient care I have ever received from the nurses, aides, environmental services and dietary. I was in the icu and a regular floor, I never thought a hospital could traumatize me. The rooms were never cleaned or garbage emptied until you complained enough, I was consistently skipped over during meal time, yelled at by a nurse and an aide, lied too about doctors orders such as being told the doctor said I must have a catheter in when he didn’t, argued with over procedure I didn’t want, tried to still do the procedure after I refused, had a nurse who thought she knew more than the doctor took my spirometer away refused to let me get out of bed even after the doctor said I had to get up and move around, given medication I said I didn’t want, was given multiple test repeatedly even when the results every time were norma…the list can go on even longer
Would never go to this hospital ever again. The staff is very arrogant and incompetent. There are very few respectful, skilled nurses who are overworked and youre lucky to get one for a shift or two. Otherwise, this hospital will not do anything for you no matter what your illness is. In fact, theyll make things a whole lot worse. If admitted youll wait days to see an actual doctor and when you do, youll end up being your own doctor anyway because they miss things, and misdiagnose. The doctors and specialists will contradict each other. Youll end up there a lot longer than expected for no good reason. Weve been here for almost a month and we have gotten no where.
I spent two years in BGMC but Ive had endometritis for 15+yrs and visited no less than 50 hospitals total in my life, trying to travel and having crises. Buffalo general in the most considerate major hospital Ive ever been to. I had an excellent psychiatrist there who made sure my stay was tolerable. I was septic with MRSA which had turned into osteomyelitis so pain management was a huge factor in my score. It felt like hellfire. Nothing they could give me worked but they definitely tried. My advice, if you have a vascular problem or an illness, this hospital will take care of you but if youre a drug seeker dont waste your time. They only get four stars because Im not a fan of their hospitalists and they have a way of forcing ppl out, but thats normal at a big city hospital 🤷🏼♀️
I wish I could give this place negative stars. My father was taken by ambulance to this hospital after a botched injection into his spine from a Dr. at a separate office. This Dr. made the arrangements for my dad to be taken to BGMC. Once he arrived at the hospital, he sat in a bed in the ER for hours before anything was done. Mind you, he has since had spinal surgery so, Im sure you can imagine the amount of pain he was in. He had to beg and plead with them for any kind of pain relief. The only thing they did was draw blood. No scans, no X-rays. Nada. When they finally released him several hours later, the wheeled him to the lobby and left him there without a wheelchair while he waited for my mom to pick him up. He stood there, in pain, no shoes on, and no wheelchair waiting as my mom wasnt called until after he had been dropped in the lobby. It was so bad that others waiting in the lobby for their family came over to help him because he was visibly shaking in pain. The nurse that wheeled him there said yeah, sorry. We need the wheelchair. Youll be fine. But, hey, no worries. Our complaints have been filed. Enjoy the outcome of that, BGMC. Luckily, dad was able to be seen by another Dr. and had surgery a week later at Sisters Hospital and is doing great! No thanks to you, BGMC.
My mother with history of heart disease, heart attack 3 years ago with a stent placed was experiencing left arm pain radiating to her back and elevated blood pressure and vomiting, she was advised by me, a nurse, to go to Buffalo Gen being that Gates Vascular is across the street. She arrived was there for over 3 hours and was never given any medications to deal with her pain. She had her vitals taken twice with no information, blood work twice with no information. No room given. After waiting with no word on an update of her tests she was then informed that the provider that took on her case left... Just close your doors if this is how you treat your patients and your excuse is you’re short staffed. DO BETTER. #closebuffgen
As I post this my husband is still laying in the E.R. He has been there since 8:00 a.m. That’s 18 hours plus. He is to be admitted but there are no beds thanks to the strike going on. The quality of care & compassion is lacking here. I don’t know when this hospital took a bad turn, but it has. No one is looking in on him. I can’t even go into the E.R. with him. He was brought in for a suspected heart attack. We still have no answer as to if it was one or not. My husband had one in 2011 and had quintuple bypass performed on him here. The care was great then. Not NOW! Whatever the internal issues are within this hospital should not affect the patients quality of care. The E.R. itself is a joke. You could die sitting out in that dumpy holding center of theirs and they wouldn’t notice. This is a scary, sad place.
My mom there for over 2 weeks I never thought hospital in USA treat people like this very poor care called nurse never showed up till you actually get out the room and call them we in floor 13 dirty you see dirt everywhere Not even in poor countrys and they trying to put her under comfort care they didn’t give her minimum care to give up and decided she won’t get any better
Thankful for the surgeon and nurses that kept my mother alive and kept her happy. But please fix your system for checking visitors in. I have been here 16 days in a row and I spend at least one hour just waiting in line to get a badge. Parking cost are high because of this reason. Visitors have to park in the parking ramp because it’s a two hour minimum in the street. Fix your system because it’s broken. Otherwise I’d give 5 stars.
My husbands face was ripped open and they put so many people ahead of him. They were very rude when he asked about how much longer the wait might be. After hours of waiting with nothing, we went to a different hospital and had a much better experience. The security guard was very friendly, no other staff encountered was. We learned our lesson and would not return.
WORST HOSPITAL OF ALL TIME AND I AM VERY DISGUSTED IN THE PURE RUDENESS OF ALL THE NURSES IN THE ER . MY FATHER IN LAW IS 65YO AND HAS DIFFICULTY BREATHING AND HAS EXTREME CHEST PAIN AND THE NURSES COULDNT CARE LESS. THE ONLY WAY THEY WILL HELP IS IF HES PASSED OUT ON THE FLOOR, REGARDLESS OF NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS OF PAIN AND DISCOMFORT AND DIFFICULTY BREATHING. AND THESE ARE THE SAME NURSES THAT ARE SUPPOSE TO HELP AND CARE FOR PATIENTS !!! SHAME ON YOU AND SHAME ON THE PLEDGE YOU TOOK TO UPHOLD YOUR DUTY AS A NURSE !!!!!!!!!
This is my second surgery and second stay at this facility. And I honestly think it’s twice the $hit hole it was when I was here a couple years ago for my first back surgery. The ladies that work here clearly don’t want to be here. I realize they’re understaffed and over worked. I’ve made a point to give them a “that a girl” every chance I get. But the attitude and laziness is completely uncalled for, one of the rude a$$ nurses is coming to my room with apple air pods in her ears blaring music, then has the nerve to get attitude when I ask for blankets or an ice pack, only to not receive any of my requests. Mark my words, I will never in my life step foot in this building again.
Came 10-3-2021 to see my mother who came in the day before for a stroke. Nursing staff and doctors were awesome. The ER renta cop at the door the next day was so fricken rude its B.S.. My wife and I came in next day to see my mom. She was still in the ER waiting room because she was waiting for a room. We barely get to the glass and he starts asking repeatedly whats your business and actually talks over my wife before she can even start to say what were there for. Its already a stressful time and you certainly dont need someone suffering from little man syndrome being rude. This guy should have sensitivity training.
My son had a brain aneurysm surgery there and he was taken in and out of the same radiology department that covid patients were using, SEVERAL times, he contracted covid, then Mrsa-pneumonia and after 38 days died, with too many variables working against his recovery. The nurses were amazing.....the protocols for radiology are horrible.
Very sad to see patients treated in the ER waiting room, waiting for over 10 hours with chest pain, others vomiting, sleeping in chairs. No beds or rooms available. They do not have enough staff so they are treating inpatients in the ER rooms and ER patients in the waiting area. No privacy.. personal questions being asked in front of all the patients. Terrible
Came in at 2:40am... Told them I was covid+, had tightening of the chest, dizziness, and my blood pressure was extremely high at 200/124.... Two hrs went by before I finally asked about the EKG I SHOULDVE gotten. Apparently no ody put in about the tightening. Well here we are... almost Another he later, and still no ekg, no nothing. Complete waste of time coming here. Triage isnt in their vocabulary.
The people that work here are very rude. People want to know why covid keeps spreading? Well start with this place. I have been in this emergency room since 2:30am with a broken foot. I am a type 2 diabetic, which I havent ate or had my meds. I asked for food and my meds and I have been told NO. What ever you do DONT COME HERE.
My 85 y.o. mother was brought to BGH by ambulance after falling in her AL facility and becoming confused. We feared a stroke. I was told I could be with her once she was in an ER room. After 2.5 hours we were still waiting, me in my car where they told me to wait. I called and was told it would be a long time and that some people had been waiting 10 hrs. So much for time is of the essence when you suspect a stroke. In the morning, they discharged her and arrangements were made for a wheelchair van. She was taken to the ambulance bay to be picked up around 9 or 10 am. At 4:30 pm, her discharge nurse just happened to pass by and see that she was still sitting there!!! All day. She has no memory of the entire event so she clearly wasnt ready to be discharged and how does a patient sit waiting all day with no one taking action??? Beyond outraged at this hospital.
Low staff levels are effecting patient care and moral. SICU was wonderful. The staff was caring and attending to patient needs. After being over to a different floor, my husband waited 45 minutes for staff to respond to his pressing the call button. So far, we are not impressed
Busy place. Have to line up, follow instructions and social distance wearing a mask. You must wear their mask versus your own or in addition to your own. Provide identification. There is one line for people with appointments and one line for people visiting. It helps to know this so that you dont wait a long time in one line just to find out you needed to be in a completely different line. It appears there is a temperature check via closed circuit television sort of thing. I could see green on a monitor when it was projecting on me. Be sure to get directions to where youre going within the facility, either before you get there or at the counter where they take your identification and give you a sticker and a paper that indicates where youre going. It can be a long walk to the other end of the building.
Was told by GP to head to the ER after calling about chest pain. Amazing, patient, caring ER staff. Efficient, streamlined triage process, but still a long wait time through no fault of the staff. These professionals are clearly doing their utmost best under busy, stressful conditions. Clean and organized facility, as well.
Would overall give BGH a -5 if possible. I went there because my mom‘s doctor was there, and he completely retired without any forwarding recommendations during the midst of Covid. Disappeared completely. We also got trapped in an elevator for 10 minutes because their equipment sucks, and none of the panic buttons worked. They also have horrible staff and recommendations. We have moved to ECMC, which is equally terrible but at least isn’t BGH. Best of luck to all of you who have operations at BGH.
If I could give a zero I would. The customer service at Buffalo General and particularly Gates Vascular is horrible. They make you stay in the same room and you cannot leave for the duration of the patients surgery. The surgery was 3 hours after scheduled. When I went there after leaving to park the car near the right entrance so Dad didn’t have to walk all the way through the entire hospital again, they told me to stay outside. I couldn’t come in until visiting hours. In an an hour and a half.Don’t ever go to Gates or Buffalo General. There are much better facilities in the area.
Last night my husband blood pressure was extremely high he is 76 yrs old. He went to Buffalo general because he was afraid of stroke thank god he is fine but was treated terribly first they showed no caring. He was told the wait to see a doctor was 12 to 20 hours. That the ER. He stayed 8 hours and finally walked out unseen Best Advise Don’t go the stroke hospital my foot if we have to go to a hospital we will go somewhere else
I was recently in BGH for a procedure to implant a Watchman device into my heart due to my Afib and this will allow me to get off Eliquis (blood thinner). Normally a 1 hr procedure and you go home that day or may stay overnight. I had some complications and spent 6 days in the cardiac ICU unit. Every 12hr. shift, hard working nurse gave me such excellent service and couldn’t have been nicer. I have such admiration for these women and the one male nurse that attended to me.They were so caring, empathic, always asking if there’s anything else they could do, etc.I can totally recommend BGH cardiac nurses 100% to anyone who ends up in this unit.
If I could give this hospital a 0 , I would and so should you. My husband entered the ER facility for extreme life threatening symptoms, instead of care for him he was met with HOSPITAL NEGLIGENCE. The nurses are incredibly rude, and not accommodating to anyone or anything. if you have read the other reviews you’ll see that it is true they stick everybody in the hallways no matter what. My husband waited over five hours to see a doctor, nobody reassured him, nobody updated him on anything. This is a death sentence to go to this hospital, this is complete hospital negligence in the main reasons so many people go on undiagnosed with severe issues. The most helpful thing to do in the situation with to report this hospital to the department of health, there needs to be a change. Please I beg of you to not take your loved ones here! I wrote this as an honest review to hopefully save somebody’s life, my husband almost lost his due to negligence.
Had an appointment was sent to 2 different floor by Admissions. A worker named Kimberly noticed I had been waiting for 2&1/2 hours in waiting b4 I realized I was on the wrong floor. Poor service, poor directions & Kimberly made it better by personally taking me 2 the correct floor.
If you like to wait in the ER for hours or days. They dont open enough beds/hire more people! And make SURE your family/friends gets fed. Twice my mom was not given meals and she was not on any restrictions. Had I not called and doubled checked each meal, I doubt my 92 year old mother would have complained. I was assured by the nurse they would get her these--they didnt. Thats horrible, why is the nursing staff not double checking that a person gets a tray and is fed? Nutrition is very important in healing. I dont care how friendly the nurse sounds on the phone and assures you, double check! Also, if you suspect your loved one has an infection or any other issue, the doctor WONT believe you or check...until days later when you have to complain to administration. Horrible hospital, went downhill completely compared to years ago.
I was transferred here from the ICU unit of another hospital. I was not conscious, I had suffered multiple organ failure. After several weeks I started to become self aware, what I did take note of is being mistreated and roughly handled by the day to day nurses who were supposed to care for me in the state I was in. I wasnt able to do anything. I was yelled at, pushed, handled in a way intended to cause pain, one time two nurses were changing my bedding with me in it and sad to say I went to the bathroom as they were finishing (I wasnt aware of what was happening) I actually became aware because I was grabbed harshly yelled at for doing it and then they tossed me around quickly as they cleaned me up painfully and changed my bedding. I will NEVER go to this hospital again for any reason!
Very disappointed, not up to cleanliness standards. Sheet soiled with feces left on top of laundry hamper for 3 hours.in a shared room. Long wait for help when call button used. Visitors bathroom very dirty.and not supplied with paper. TERRIBLE hours for visitation---family members never get to see the doctors, which is vital when elderly person with dementia is the patient. Food order not filled as requested. Nurses are pretty wonderful , though. Just overworked and understaffed. Would avoid this hospital in the future.
The most difficult issue with this place is that you have to wait to get your license copied as an identification to visit anyone in the hospital. It’s stressful enough to have to visit someone in the hospital, but waiting in line for an hour for this process is crazy !!! It took an hour to do this. I’ve been to several hospitals in the Cleveland area and never had this problem. I’m hoping my sister in law is well taken care of here. It seems like the staff is overwhelmed taking care of patients.
BGMC neurology department is by far the best neurologist department in WNY, I have been to many Neuro departments and all they did was throw pills at me and seem to not care but not at BGMC Dr.Glover is a amazing doctor, he has done more for me and my epilepsy in the 3 years then any other Dr has done in WNY in 14 years now
Im a service member. And this is my personal opinion and my opinion only. This is by far the worst hospital ive ever been to. For the sake of who you love do not come here. I had a terrible fever and i waa litteraly dying on a couch nurses would look at me and just walk away. Their responses has 0 empathy. They are a shame to the department of health. Im 9 hours strong still here waiting on lab reports where they said itll only take an hour
I have had the MISFORTUNE to be at BGH on numerous VERY PAINFUL experiences. The 1st occurred on August 24,2021 while on my way to my room informed transporter that I would need to use commode. Nurse was told, had 2 more people assist in lifting up EVEN THOUGH asked them to use Lift Machine (known by staff)😪😪 was then lifted and WORST PAIN EVER occurred, SCREAMED IN PAIN 😭😭 set on commode, pain eventually subsided was released next day, no Xray done after incident.Returned via an Ambulance September 9th (Ruptured Hematoma) cause Dislocated Hip Supposedly hip reset released next day WITH PRECAUTIONS.November 10th returned ER at BGH and asked AGAIN to please DO NOT PICK ME UP and again THEY DID NOT Listen SCREAMED IN PAIN 😭😭 Brought on Extreme Painic,Anxiety Attacks Durind Aspiration complained of pain and burning all the while trying to cope with HIP PAIN, PANIC ANXIETY ATTACKS as well procedures being done. ASPIRATION, CHEST AND HIP XRAYS, EKG and BLOOD WORK DONE IN HALLWAY OF THE ERNOT 1 NURSE, TECH, PA OR DOCTOR ASKED ABOUT THE PAIN THAT HAD OCCURRED IN MY HIP EARLIEROR IF I WAS HAVING ANY. ALL THE WHILE TRYING TO MANAGE PANIC, ANXIETY, FRUSTRATION AND PAIN WAS THEN SENT HOME WITH MY UNDERSTANDING HIP SPACER IS DISLOCATED AND BE CAUTIOUSHOSPITALS STAFF SO BUSY AND OVERVWORKED, THEY CANT EVEN TAKE A SECOND TO ASK HOWS THAT PAIN THAT OCCURED EARLIERFOR ME THIS IS UNACCEPTABLEVERY VERY UPSET PATIENT!!! 🤬🤬
I need to give a huge shoutout to my grandmas RN, I believe this name is Shawn, working on the 4th floor on 9/11/21, he was so great explaining all of her new meds to her and teaching her to advocate for her patient rights by asking these questions! He was patient, funny & sweet and I felt so much more at ease knowing she was in good care during her stay! She said most of her nurses were kind & helpful, but I had to recognize Shawn specifically for his knowledge & awesome bedside manner. He spreads joy and we talked about how much it helps patient outcomes! As a fellow healthcare worker I appreciate him so much. Thanks for taking good care of my gram! And shout out to the nurse’s desk for hooking her up with a bible to read, she was thrilled to have it. It all makes a difference, and it helps. Thanks!!!
I was very disgusted and disappointed with the way I was treated last night (original review written on 5/26/21).I went into the ER in the early evening and told them my symptoms (chest pain, shortness of breath, leg and foot pain/numbness, etc.--things reminiscent to a heart attack). I was seen quickly and given a checkup in triage and while it was looked like I would be able to be checked in within a timely fashion and given routine, necessary things including a chest x-ray and blood work, instead I was sent to their dirty and poorly guarded waiting room/triage (with discarded ekg stickers and other trash left on the floor) and left to rot for several hours. After over six hours of waiting for anyone to help me (and even the surprise of the one nurse who was checking everyones blood pressure and vitals that I wasnt called back already), I left without anyone bothering to notice or care. Rejection may be prevalent with my kind in this world and this country, but I would rather it not be a factor in getting the necessary help I need to be ignored while Im possibly seriously ill. I guess being a thirty-six-year-old with possible cardiac/respiratory issues wont hold any weight until Im 20-plus years older, huh?Word to the wise: even if you come in midway through the week, NEVER get sick or injured during a holiday weekend: the staffs frame of mind is with their own interests and plans, not you and your health! No wonder Healthcare is a joke in this country. At this point, Id rather face sudden death than deal with disrespectful hospital workers who play a dangerous and potentially criminally/legally responsible game of Russian roulette with who gets treatment and who can screw off!
After spending 2 nights in BGH after having surgery there, I was appalled. It felt like I was in a third world country. Absolutely no comfort care, other patients calling out for help all day and night, nurse call bell almost constantly ringing. This is no place to get any rest after surgery and they dont care. The beds are pure torture and no one offers to help patients get out of bed and into a chair or take a walk. 18 hours laying in a bed with no offer of help. The only thing that is attended to is medications which seem to be delivered on schedule. Food is not the best but not terrible if you are fortunate enough to have someone tell you how eating and getting food delivered works. It took a day for me to figure it out by constantly asking questions when people were available. Sad statement that this hospital is able to get any kind of good ratings, which, they do. After reading about how healthcare in NYS is some of the worst, its understandable that this hospital is so bad. Dont get sick in NYS!!!
My mom was here for 2 weeks before passing. The only good thing I can talk about are some of the nurses. Currently with covid restrictions many of the top nurses and patient advocates are completely unwilling to push for more leniency when it comes to visitation. This includes visitation for patients at end of life. Only one doctor who I will not mention by name (because he deserves 5 stars) is willing for him and his team to push back with Cuomo on visitation. End of life patients can only have 2 visitors, while this is a NYS mandate very few people are willing to fight for patients and their families INCLUDING patient advocate Buffalo General. Cathy Papiaz and Dr Hareth are two of the people who are the first to say above my pay grade. After seeing my moms hospital bills I do not believe it is above your pay grade. I had to push boundaries and annoy a lot of people to get very few things. Patient advocacy asked if I thought I was special because I thought it was cruel that not all of my moms children (there are 3 of us) could be in the room. No I have never thought I was special. This is something everyone should be afforded. They tell you the 3rd person+ can video. And they dont say it with compassion as if seeing your loved one pass on video is a normal routine. They consistently talked about how patients WITH covid die alone and it saddens them. But they have not said anything about fighting Cuomo and coming together for patient and family sake and coming up with some type of SOP for this situation. I had nurses and aides care for my mom who just cared for a patient with covid. The difference? PPE. Now is PPE a commodity nowadays? Yes. Are they ways to raise funds and figure out things for the sake of your patients. Absolutely. If you are not committed to ensuring patients end of life is as good as you can get it then you should work a different path. And never had they said, aside from the one doctor I will not name, we are trying our hardest to be on the side of patients. Instead they said above my pay grade.Aside from this Dr Hareth comes across as a very cold person. Not a trait I would look for in a doctor. He may be extremely intelligent, that is definitely a great quality, but if you cant relay sensitive information properly, please consider engineering. I understand everyone is currently under a lot of present maintaining a proper attitude may be challenging but this is essential for ICU patients and their families. Admittedly Hareth was correct on my moms health and where she was. And I can admit and respect that but I am 100% glad I did get a second opinion with someone who did more tests. All in all the nurses we had were pretty great. I however cannot recommend this hospital for patient advocacy at all (the woman I spoke to also cannot handle when people are high on emotions as she was mostly rude. Again maybe a new line of work is necessary , unfortunately her name was not worth remembering bc my brain forgot). If they would have been more willing to fight for the people they are caring for I would have had less issue. But again... above my pay grade.
They tried to bill my insurance for something they didn’t even do (a CT). They are being audited from my insurance (not welfare). The Dr was extremely discriminatory towards me. I did not get the same treatment as the rest of the people. I WOULD RATHER DIE THEN GO THERE.
Having terrible abdominal pain, Dr. Corasanti‘s office suggested I go to BGH ER for help. I arrived there around 10 AM and had to leave after 5 PM, after almost 7 1/2 hours of waiting. I haven’t eaten or drank anything in over 24 hours and sat in your emergency room with pain and nausea. I was taken back for bloodwork and a urine sample, given a Zofran and sent back out into the waiting room. My husband asked for a status of me being seen, she said she would check, we never saw her again. I had to leave. I needed to lay down. Where is the communication in this emergency department? Even if you give patients a number, and some type of tracking for them it would’ve been better. I was in so much pain I couldn’t sit there any longer. Your website says how clean your ER is but it was very dirty. Your triage never once even asked me for my medications I was on. When I stated I needed to leave, your triage nurse didn’t even care or ask why. She just told me I could leave. I thought I would need to sign some thing. This was torture for me to sit there all day like that in pain. You should really stop advertising for people to come to your ER. Could be seen at Catholic Health in under an hour.
My 82 year old grandma has stage 4 cancer. She developed an infection and was taken to ER. It took her 8 hours to be placed in a room. Then she was taken to the covid floor and spent the night there. Her test results came back negative and she was placed in a general room. Lack of communication with the doctors and nurses. I was hung up several times a day trying to get any information that I could. Was told it was cellulitis. She couldnt even walk. They must have needed the bed because she was discharged anyway! We just received a letter that she has sepsis! She was rushed back to hospital and is now in poor condition. I would avoid this hospital like the plague. Poor management and care all around.
Brought a relative into the BGH vascular institute and was asked to be here at 5:30am. Went through Covid temp scan, interacted with multiple professionals and then 5 separate nurses and an NP. Was informed after all of this that the Covid test results from days ago were still not available, so even though we dealt with all these people and have been prepped since 7:30 for surgery, the results won’t be here until 10:00! Furthermore, nobody informs you that if you’re here with family as a visitor, once your with them in their room you cannot leave and come back. So now I’m going to be here for 5 hours before her procedure, 1 hour for it and then 4 more after and cannot leave! What an absolute waste of time and inconvenience to make us come in so early just to sit and wait due to test results that you should have ensured you had before we walked through the doors.
I am currently in BGH for the second time in 5 years. When the ambulance brought me in was literally at deaths door. The fantastic care given was amazing. They performed 8 tests that night which I had been begging my PCP to do for 7 months. Cirrhosis is incurable but they, over 2 months have fixed a multitude of problems, I have been coming here since 1955 and cannot envision a better hospital. The Doctors are kind and understanding but the nurses are truly angels with hearts of gold. Best hospital EVER!
If I could give zero stars I would. My grandmother is extremely week and cannot walk which is one of the reasons we are in the ER. it’s been almost 13 yes THIRTEEN hours and all they’ve done is check her blood pressure which is EXTREMELY high. This is completely ridiculous I will never choose this hospital again for her, myself, or any of my other family.
Was sent here by my GI due to shortness of breath an extreme right side. After 3 hours in the waiting room I wand kindly given the room where inmates are seen. Giant metal door security cameras and no tv. Waited another 5 and a half hours to get a CT scan done. After not being able to all this time when I asked if my visitor could get me food I was told if they leave they aren’t allowed back in. It’s now almost 10 PM and I have been here since noon. I still have no test results no tv no food and no drink. I better be discharged because I would hate to see how I am treated on a floor. This is the worst ER experience ever. If I could rate lower I would for sure.
Buffalo General, you really dropped the ball on this one. My boyfriends grandmother and I came in due to a fall the previous night. Took us 2 hours to see the physicians assistant and ANOTHER 2 hours to get her in for CT Scan. I understand that during these trying times that wait times are higher but there is NO REASON for her to have to wait four hours. Based on other reviews, this isn’t an uncommon thing for you guys, and if you don’t step it up we WILL NOT be returning here in the future. The night staff is very curt and not empathetic towards patient needs when asked for assistance.
If I could give them no stars I would. My husband died in June. They stole his wedding ring off of his finger. Then when I complained they told me there was nothing I could do about it. But before he died he was supposed to be put on a palliative care floor. They didnt move him. So while he was dying there was patients screaming, and uter cayas outside the room. They do not care about their parents. I would love to sue them. There is more but not enough space to write it. Dont bring your loved ones there. Ever!!!
Came into ER by ambulance on 10/24,the staff was great let my daughter in with me .Was admitted but they were so busy because of strike there were no beds was in ER till8pm that night. Finally got to eat at 7pm it was Cold so the nurse warned it for me in micro. All the staff I had were very respectful,I cannot blame them for being behind because of strike not there fault.
The most horrible hospital. I had two scratched corneas and no one cared I was walking into walls crying in agony. 4 hours later no one asked if i could give you drops to lower the pain. They told me too bad they have a 10 hour wait. Warming shelter for the less fortunate.Had to leave and see a real doctor the next day screaming all night.Nearly went blindCovid or not different part of hospital.Never go to this emergency room even if you have to drive out of state for optimology. Which they are supposedly specialist. Joke
If i didn’t have to hit a star to comment they would have gotten no stars what so ever. I will never bring my mother in law to this hospital again. She was admitted on Friday January 9th and never got to a room until the 13th. We have been up here everyday and there has been issues every single time. We have seen the doctor twice since we been here and that’s even requesting to speak to one. The nurses don’t help you and when you talk to them it’s like we are bothering them. My mother in law stopped breathing last night and they had to do cpr and no one called us to inform us on her situation until I came up here this morning at 10:30 am. I have asked to talk to a nurse at 11:35 am and it is now 1:20 pm and I still have not spoken to anyone. This hospital is the worst place to bring any loved ones. I would give this a no star review if I could.
My grandfather was brought in for aspiration issues and had to be put on oxygen. The ICU was great. There was a nurse with him 24 hours. The staff was friendly and knew what they were talking about. Then they moved him to floor 13.My grandfather was on the 13th floor for one day. We went in the visit at 330pm. When we arrived my grandfather was covered in his own shit, and it was crusted which means it was there for a while, there was trash everywhere, and the staffs excuse was they were short handed and cant watch him. They assured us they visit hourly but then another family on the floor admitted no one had been in the room since noon. Which means they hadnt been there for 3 hours. If this had been a childrens hospital and a parent walked in on this the hospital would be liable for child abuse and neglect. But because my grandfather is an adult, no one cared.
I wish I could give zero stars. DO NOT take elderly patients here, they are ignored and neglected. No communication between departments, no one has a clue whatsoever. My mom was admitted, had an aortic valve replacement and they kept her there over 40 days doing every test imaginable. First she was placed on a covid floor (shes 80 and did not have covid). No physical therapy was done so now she cant use her arms or legs. Because she had no use of her hands she could not eat. She suffered from hospital induced dementia because of all the drugs they gave her. Her roommate was insane and was up all night. She also stole my mothers clothes. Usually nurses are amazing and very caring. Not so on the 14th floor. I will NEVER go or have a family member go to Buffalo General again. Update she ended up passing away due to their care.
Nurses were kind but trash and stuff all over the floor. My moms room was not cleaned In till we insisted we were told they only clean when someone complained. Boy I run that crew out quick. Replace them with, more competent personal that love to work. Several times weve seen cleaners sitting looking on their phones.
This place is terrible. Its not the wait time in the E.R. Thats a given no matter what hospital you go to. Its the sheer disregard for Covid 19 precautions. Visibly sick people coughing and hacking with NO MASK ON No one wiping down the seating after patients have laid and drooled on them. No social distancing, an automated temperature taking device that says your temp is too high one second, and normal the next. Security guards that are more like bouncers, and limited ER parking the size of a small living room make The BGH ER a horrible place. Go there with one illness, and you might leave with a few more... and an attitude.
The reason I rated BG a three is based on excellent service most of the time. However, I arrived at 4 pm today t with stabbingfstabbing painqpain in my left side. About 530 pm blood was taken, left a sample and did an x ray whose results were immediately uploaded for the dr. to see. It is now12:05 am and was just notified by the triage reception nurse that I was schedule 45 minutes ago for a cat scan. I have heard the term cat scan with at least 4 others in the waiting room. So, how long will it take to get the cat scan? Moreover, how long for the results. In the mean time, I have been without food and water since I got here. I am a diabetic and have kidney issues so going without either is a liability for them. I wont even mention the blood pressure being skimmed over.
First the STAFF, RNs NPs and Mds were all WONDERFUL. I was loving BGH! Until I had to experience their visitation process! It was utterly APPALLING. I do not know what they are thinking but they have to do something else. In light of COVID everything is changing everywhere. However you placed only two receptionists on with a line of people trying to get in that wrapped around the lobby and out the entrance! Your herding people like cattle, it was scary being packed in their like sardines and we are at far greater risk of COVId exposure from that then being in the ED! I waited over 45 minutes in that mess. Please readdress how your handling intake on visitors! I have to go through this everyday to see my loved one and its deplorable.
The nursing staff is great but the security are EXTREMELY racist. Not only is the fact that Ive only seen one black security guard in all the years that Ive worked and/or visited the hospital indicative of this, but the way they profile minority visitors is disgraceful. I would recommend cultural sensitivity training, but I dont think that would undo the inherent racist attitudes that are clearly ingrained in their sad little souls.
Nurse kicked me out morning after car accident. Not telling me about my diagnosis or waiting for my person to come take me home. I had no phone, glasses, nothing. Was thrown out back to emergency room and treated like trash. I wish I could give negative stars to accurately depict the situation
THE WORST MOST UNMORAL HOSPITAL NOT ONLY DID I GET MISDIAGNOSED THE FIRST TIME I WENT FOR LUNG PROBLEMS WHEN I CAME BACK AFTER I OBVIOUSLY DIDNT GET BETTER BECAUSE NO MEDICINE WAS PRESCRIBED THEY TOLD ME I HAD TO WAIT 11 HOURS TO BE SEEN... 11 HOURS WITH A BREATHING PROBLEM THAT IS DISGUSTIMG I AM NOW SICKER THAN EVER FIGHTING FOR EVERY BREATH ON MY OWN
I was admitted to Buffalo General Hospital neurology unit and have nothing but good things to say about the care I have received there. Every staff member I have come in contact with has been courteous and helpful. My nurse, Justin, is a blessing, and has made this journey so much better for me and my family. I am very grateful for him and all of the staff on the 14th floor!
My fiancé and I came in because she was having problems maintaining consciousness. She was dizzy, nauseous, and kept blacking out. Now we had checked in, done paperwork, triage, blood samples, etc. We had asked how long it would be, they said they called people based off of the severity of the emergency which is understandable. However, there were 2 people with similar symptoms who were not affected as bad by them as my fiancé was. Then there were also individuals who barely had anything affecting them at all. Yet, they were called before she was. WE WAITED SIX HOURS TO BE SEEN AND TO GET A ROOM. Yet, there people with less severities affecting them that had gotten a room before she did. It’s unacceptable and as a place of business it is ridiculous that someone should even have to wait 6 hours to be seen. P.S. she still was not seen and we ended up leaving to go to her doctors the next day.
All these people who gave the hospital a bad rating are either crazy or are either selfishly getting revenge on the hospital because they didnt get what they wanted or did something they werent supposed to. Everybody from the security guard that gave us our visitor passes to the staff at the MICU were amazing. We even met a colored family who were extremely happy about the care their family member was given.
My boyfriend and myself had the terrible misfortune to have to go to this hospital if you can even call it that. Boyfriend had a medical emergency at 2 am went there and the overnight staff is unprofessional and unsympathetic to their patients needs my boyfriend had to ask 3 different nurses to get his pain meds and still had to wait at least three hours before they even gave him any we asked the overnight nurse Jessica about the delay and she rudely informed us that they had more emergencies then just ours going on. The acting doctors we’re just that actors that just waited for shift change to bee line it out of there. Due to my boyfriend needing to possibly be sedated they refused him anything to drink and it wasn’t even until after 7 o’clock that they gave him the wet swabs for his dry mouth that he spent hours complaining about after the procedure was done the doctor told me I could go see him only to be told I couldn’t because it wasn’t visiting hours and he then had to wait over an hour for his food and he didn’t even receive it he stopped the food service worker in the hall and the food he ordered was not even what he got next emergency we have we will be going to a real hospital not this poor excuse of a hospital and their was dry blood from another patient on the rails of the bed that they had my boyfriend using nurse just threw away extra tubes of blood in the regular trash instead of in the biohazard trash
My boyfriend had a heart attack 2 weeks ago. He was admitted and was in the hospital for 3 days. His sheets were never changed from the first day. The only cardiologist he saw was the one who performed the angiogram, but who doesnt see patients outside of catherization. Nor did they even recommend a cardiologist for him to follow-up with. Generally, patient service was severely lacking. Even the public restrooms were not maintained. I personally feel spoiled by my encounters at the Cleveland Clinic, and Buffalo General has a very long way to go to be as efficient and caring as they are. In closing, the next time he has a heart attack, I would rather drive to Ohio to get world class care than drive 15 min to be treated like an inconvenience.
Everyone was very nice helpful for my surgery. Only bad thing is they never kept my mother up to date for anything which they said they would because she couldn’t be there as per the Covid restrictions they had going on. She had to call several times to get to the right person to see what was going on.
The rudest operator Ive ever spoken to. Theres no communication between departments. They apparently lose their patients as well. Im in complete disbelief over the audacity the operator I just spoke to had, to speak to me the way she did. Im confused as to how speaking to someone earlier, my friends mother was in recovery... was told to call back in a half hour.. then proceed to say theres no record of her ever being there? That makes NO sense.
This visit was horrible waited 6 hours to be seen. Then the room was still dirty . There was someone elses urine sitting on the sink and the back of the bed had juice and trash on it. To top it of my daughter was admitted and she still is in the ER. The nurse taking care of her is so nonchalant about everything. Very disappointing
Admissions is extremely UNPROFESSIONAL! Rude and obnoxious. Upon entering they ask you how many people are in room of patient your visiting. Then call to check what you said. The admissions had no name tag to report to the proper supervisor. Seemed like would rather be doing anything but working.
We were given an arrival time of 8am. As I type this on my phone it’s currently 9:54. And we’re not the only ones waiting. There are many people here who arrived around the same time and a couple before us. Medical and dental offices love to complain about late patients throwing off their daily schedule. I know this because my wife works in a doctor’s office. And as a person who has spent his entire life being neurotically early for everything, I hate being behind tardy people myself. If I make an appointment, barring a true emergent sulituation, I am never late. In fact I’m often ridiculously early. So early that I cause myself to wait as a side effect of being so early. But that’s on me. It’s no one else’s fault. Today, after pre-registering online to speed up the process even further, I was on time with my family for my daughter’s procedure causing no one to wait for us. If the medical and dental community wish to complain of patient tardiness perhaps they should not be so hypocritical when it comes to holding up their end of the bargain. As I’m finishing up this rant my phone clock now reads 10:07, totaling 2 hours and 7 minutes late with no apology or explanation provided. If you’re going to be so unprofessional as to keep me waiting that long at least have the decency to make up a good lie explaining why. In the immortally funny yet accurate words of Daffy Duck, “what a way to run a railroad.”In all fairness I should point out that the security procedures on the first floor and the cleanliness of the facilities that I have seen are top notch. Maybe they should let security or the maintenance staff handle the appointment scheduling of both patients and the medical staff.
1. Parking garage situation is laughable. If you have heart or breathing difficulties, this is not the place for you. The elevator only covers up to the second level.2. Patient pick up and Valet parking in the same location. Who thought of that one?3. Restrooms with only two stalls each.Who designed this disaster?Would think twice if I needed to stay overnight.Kalieda needs to rethink this one.
I have been waiting for 6 hours the person the person next to me has been waiting 8 hours. The nurses are just sitting in a circle talking right in front of me and have been for 2 hours. They said a room was supposed to be ready in 15 to 20 min it has been 30 min at least and they havent even moved. I am extremely disappointed this is the worst hospital visit I have had so far and I havent even talked to a doctor yet.
Arrived at the hospital around 4:30 pm in the ER. He has extreme pain and is dehydrated. They have refused to give him any IV fluids or pain medication. It is now 1 am the following morning. Still no treatment and everybody else that was here when we got here are gone. Dozens of people have been seen that have come here after us. I asked for answers but was refused reason why. They have refused to put him in a treatment room until a bed on a floor becomes available. How is this equal treatment? This hospital should be ashamed of itself. I will never come to such a cruel and poor excuse of a hospital. If you want to die in the waiting room, this is the place for you!
Really bad experience with the phone tree. Every single department I talked to was unhelpful with bad customer service. No one was willing to advocate for me. No one was there to help me. They all just said not my problem. Looking at the other reviews, it sounds like this hospital is terrible.
Well I don’t know where to begin, it’s Covid and the people have beennon- communicative ! Nurses and discharge planning have been defensive -my masters degree is in human behavior so I knowIt’s so sad, We have undeveloped Younghans nastily pushing families awayI know I grew up in the area and I went to nursing school in the area, Where has compassion gone
I was sitting in the waiting room waiting for a friend and I was looking how rude the employees of the information area are ... woow with all the people who come in, they yell at them, they throw their ID at them, its incredible that they have employees like those at the service to the client. if you dont know how to treat people, dont work customer service.
Its my first time for heart surgery @58 yrs old I think its the best place to be for heart care everybodys kind helpful from nurse in icu to reg room I had no problems at all from surgery to home healed great I was in 4 1/2 days there great job keep up great work I would go there always Drs. are very good as well
This place is dirtier than our barn ,, slower than watching ice melt , NO compassion , i even wonder if they know what they are doing , rude is not the word , ask a question and they call security , having you put out ,God please if you have another choice try our veteranian office , clean and accomadating with your needs!! this place needs a visit from the health dept!!
My husband is in MICU 6th floor the night nurses are PREJUDICED AND DISRESPECTFUL they called security on us 2 times to try to get us to leave the premises security side they are not allowed to do that to us .... I have a enough to deal with my husband is ill they have no consideration for family members that are not their race... They made my cry 😢
A minus 10,how NYS does not serve them with citations is unbelievable, these ER doctors are incompetent human beings your ever going to meet. The ER waiting room and patients room are filthy .Medical school should have classes in common sense ,or these doctor skip the class!!!

2022-06-08I called Ambulance for my dad and got there around 7:50 pm in the ER. He has extreme pain, high blood pressure and Vomiting. They have refused to give him any medication. 2022-04-23We dropped off a friend who was going to have some procedures done at this facility. The person at registration was very helpful but sent us to the wrong floor. The folks there were also extremely helpful and finally directed us to the right floor. We had to wait for quite a while for a nurse to show up but the hospital is short-staffed.

2022-06-23If I was able to not give a star I would. Never been treated so rudely in my life. I went to this so called hospital. I had to sit in the waiting room for almost 7 hours. They took an x-ray shortly after checking in and then put me back in the waiting room. After 6 1/2 hours a nurse came out to discharge me. I said excuse me, Ive never even been in the back to see a doctor. She said, well she looked at your x-ray and said its not broke. I said it may not be broke but obviously something is wrong. My hand is swelled up and I cant move it at all. Tears from pain. She replied, well I was told to discharge you so thats what Im doing. Just straight rude. Dont go there if it can be helped.

2022-05-04I want to share my sincerest thanks to the above and beyond Medical ICU team who cared for my mother for her final days. The amount of compassion, and care for both her and us was outstanding, and made our grief a little less painful. They brought us different decor to make the room less hospital-like, and even brought us some baked goods and coffee at no expense just to give us a small smile. While my heart is broken to have lost Mom today, I couldnt have been happier with the care and love she received the entire way.Thank you Buffalo General, sincerely.Special shout out to MICU Nurse Haley. 🧡

2022-06-28My wife is currently in here for surgery we live hours away and I try to call to get someone to update me on her and its a joke run around and never anyone who knows anything. When I visit her its the same the nurses that come in aware always filling in and when I go out to the nurses station they say they will get someone to talk to me and they never show. The staff is nice to my to my wife and she is taking care of but the communication is zero and I mean zero on the weekends forget it you cant get anyone on the phone. From now on we will take are business to geisinger medical center they are just as big and a great hospital that updates you and stays in touch when my wife had surgery their I got anoyed by the amount of calls I got from them, but looking back I prefer that over no communication.

2022-05-04This is the worst hospital ever to choose In WNY if you ever have an Medical Emergency. I was their on 05/03/22 exactly 12PM, I had difficulties walking that day experiencing unbearable pain from my left knee, because I suffer from both Ahstio, and Rumatoid Arthritis,. when I was called in for triage, both nurses made the assumption because I was a black Mail that I instantaneously had Covid- 19 , and have never even tested me, after the fact I had absolutely No Signs, No Temps Est. They directed me not to even touch their desk because I used it just to pull myself up for stability because I had difficulties walking ,and they was not helping me nor examine me but immediately made an assumption because Im black that I was a CRACK HEAD, and That I was Just their for narcotically Pain Pills , They extremely rude nurses had even rent as far as to say that I had visited other hospitals for the same thing which was way farfetched, basically both those nurses created a fabricated story. Because they looked burnt out ,and they looked extremely lazy as well as extremely high from the opioids pills they were popping directly right in front of my face, these were the pills that were to be giving to the patients that was in extremely pain. When I called them out on it they called security on me to escorted me out the hospital, after the fact I requested to speak to a patient care representative multiple times,. I told these 2 rude nurses drug addict nurses that if you dont like your Job than why dont you quit it so future nurses I want to make a good living would do a great service for the community , because you guys are doing a extremely disservices for the community. She told me Garry your done. I told both of them Im so sorry you guys hate your Job that much. I just cant understand, why are you guys hear if you dont want to serve the community that is sick ?, Why are you guys hear if you are racist against African Americans ? , Everybody wants to Reap the rewards of Nurses pay but dont want to honestly put that work inn, to honestly Earn it., it appears to me that everyone is not cut out for the Job nor has what it really takes. BEFORE I LEFT THAT BUILDING I ENCURAGE THE PEOPLE WHO WAS BECOMMING VERY IMPATIENT WITH THE TWO FEMAL RUDE NURSES to go to a real Hospital, and get real professional emergency medical care at SISTERs OF MERCY HOSPITAL. This is a real Hospital. This hospital treats Humen beings the way Humen beings are supposed to be treated , and their Medical Staff are extremely talented. They have real doctors, that really knows what the hell they are doing, and talking about. Their staff dont need Anger Management, and their staff dont pop opioids pills thats intended for the Patients. Buffalo General Hospital Avoid with dear life, That hospital was voted the worst and Unpro - Active Hospital in New York State, most of those nurses is on drugs, and they need to get drug tested randomly, as well as regularly.

2022-02-16My son was left unattended in the er waiting area for five hours. His family was forced to wait outside in the freezing cold. He was dizzy, felt faint and dehydrated and no one came to check on him. He finally left with his family to seek help in another facility. The staff was rude and neglectful of the patient. His treatment was inhuman.

2022-07-05If I could give negative stars I would. Ive never felt more unsafe in my life. I feared for my sons life as I watched him struggle to breathe for 48hours in the ER before getting a room in the ICU. Due to the stress of this experience I ended up in the ER where I was treated with such disrespect that I was left unable to move or speak in the waiting room with a HR of 183!!!!! After a nurse did an EEG and then put me back in the waiting room with my pants still rolled up and my shirt undone.

2022-05-16Theyre ok...ONCE they finally see you lol made me wait 6 hours in the lobby with food poisoning once. Cant never forget that, so for that I give them a 2 but its really closer to a 2.5. Wouldnt really recommend them unless its an emergency... otherwise youll be waiting all day for your common cold or otherwise...its just not that important to them.
