Amazingly juicy burgers, fresh and crispy fries, what else could you want?The buns sauce is out of this world, and they have a nice beer selection reasonably prices.Definitly stopping by again!
Was walking home and decided to stop in for a quick bite. Everyone there is so nice and I was greeted immediately upon walking in. I kept it simple and ordered a regular hamburger with French fries and root beer. Honestly it was one of the better burgers Ive had in awhile. 1/4 lb. Of Kilkoyne beef so its a little smaller after being cooked which is normal. Can definitely tell the difference in quality between this and a fast food patty. The fries were crispy and just salty enough aka delicious! Washed it down with a bottle of Albita root beer which was a great to finish my quick meal. The location used to be Dreamweavers and it still has a nice atmosphere and charm to it. Wonderful staff and great addition to Kingston. Definitely recommend 10/10 😁

My first time and will definitely go back. I tried the veggie stacker and it was outstanding. Portabella mushroom, with sweet potato, cucumber, red onion, avacodo and I cant remember what else was on the bun but it was delicious. The hed string fries that were nice and crisp. All for a fair price.
Got the classic burger without pickles and Ill say it was very very good. While I tend to lean towards a gourmet burger situation there was a really great charm to having a simpler burger done extremely well. The menu overall is small, and I would assume everything else is just as good. Cute little spot and it will definitely be on my return to list for my next Catskills excursion.

Buns Burgers was exactly what we needed as a short detour from our road trip - delicious fresh burgers and shakes with real ingredients, made to order but super quick. I had the veggie burger which was loaded with good stuff and tasted great, a rare miracle in the tragic landscape that is most vegetarian burgers.
Loved it! I ordered a burger with cheese and the works. It has another name but I dont remember it. Very tasty! Not a long wait. But what I really loved was the root beer float. Oh my! It brought back so many memories! It was Albit beer from Louisiana. So so so so good. Not a bad price. I paid for everything $13.39. It will definitely be on my list to visit again.

They do one thing and they do it amazingly.This is one of the best burgers in the region. The buns are perfect. They have veggie burger that I hear is excellent. (Ive only had the meat options) and the fries are great.Highly recommend
Super disappointed to come here only to discover that you cant get veggie, beyond, impossible etc as an option. Only choice is a portobello burger, which does not cut it in 2022. Cant eat somewhere where half our group gets one not so appealing choice.

Even during covid, Buns really exceeded my expectations. Everything tasted real and freshly made. I got a cheeseburger, milkshake and fries. The burger was cooked perfectly and was not overpowered by the toppings. The fries were so crispy and delicious they really didnt need ketchup. The milkshake was amazing, you could really taste the ice cream.
Fries were greasy and had not been blanched first so they were soggy. Burger was nasty and greasy. Grease was soaked through the bag. I wont be going back.
Tasty burgers, but the fries are just as good. Do yourself a favor and just get the bucket.

Local Hudson Valley mini-chain that values fresh, local ingredients! Beef and dairy are both sourced in-state. Burgers are cooked to a nice pink medium, even the veggie stack option was tasty! The fries are thincut and well-seasoned. Im coming back when its warm to try the shakes!!

Just ok. Asked for no pickles and tomatoes, burger had pickles and tomato regardless. Wife’s portobello burger had a long curly hair in it. Daughters crispy chicken was ok, but no thanks. Fries were great, hence the two stars.

Went twice 1st time was fantastic second time I just ordered large fries and me and my husband received a bag of fries that looked like it was the bottom of the batch thrown in the bag, burnt no care was put into it and with so much salt nobody could eat it, made with hate.

Burger and hot dog were great. The fries were AMAZING! They were lightly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside!The girl at the counter was so helpful and nice! Not just to us, she went out of her way for other patrons as well. (We dined at buns on Sep 25 in the afternoon).The only thing that could be improved is the lettuce bun, it could be a bit more comfortable and clean if lettuce was on both sides of the patty.
Bun place with no turkey burgers and to vegetarian burgers. I had a lamb burgers small to much fat. Had a regular burger better at the dinner

2022-01-21The first time I came here I was in awe like most of theses reviews. I took the same photo and came back 4 times since.However the last 2 times have been off.The spicy chicken sandwich, “Dirty Bird”, had no spice, it dripped and poured all over.This time the food here gave me and my boyfriend awful food poisoning.Disappointing to say the least.$30 wasted, agony all afternoon/night and a favorite place to eat now a bad memory.Needless to say, we will not be returning.

2021-10-31They have one veggie option which is just a huge portobello burger with extra veggies. The Sweet Potato slab on it was sooo good, as were the pickled onions, but whoever OKd adding cucumbers to this needs to reconsider everything they know about burgers. Incredibly weird addition that added nothing to a burger that was almost perfect. We also got a bucket of fries which was huge: we split it three ways and still had leftovers. The pumpkin milkshake was also delicious!

2022-03-22Stopped here returning from skiing. Top-notch burger restaurant. It’s easy to get a good burger, but it takes some work to do a GREAT burger. Buns uses fantastic (fresh baked? Seems that way to me) and french fries that are just oerfect. It’s those little things that separate the good from the great.No mistakes made with the other little things. Service was prompt, staff was friendly, and decor nice.

2021-07-23W.O.W!! The fates directed us here when a huuuuge storm came rolling in and the first place to park was in front of this amazing place to eat. Fresh cut fries that are lick your fingers good. Burgers with a different twist. The best fried chicken sandwich. Oh! And fantastic milkshakes that are dessert in a cup. The staff was super friendly and attentive, like it’s their normal manner and not their job. My husband said to mark this as a regular stop on trips to Kingston!

2022-07-10Cute spot! Husband says the Dirty Bird was the “best dang chicken sandwich” he’s ever had! Fries and burgers were also good. Our very picky 3yo ate ALL of his chicken nuggets, with very little French fry and milkshake bribery! This was a total win for us. We’ll be back!

2022-04-29Oh my goodness..Horrible . FIrst of all it was my first time. The lady pulled a slick move to upsell me a double patty. $3.00 more mind you. No biggie.. The patties were way overcooked and dry....No flavor. Just bland..Like hospital style. The fries were just like it was sitting in oil for hours.Totally drenched. There was a high sheen on it... The first bite I had oil running in my mouth. I squeezed some between my fingers and the oil was just dripping .The only reason we went there was because the other place we go was closed..Never again..
