Ordered many times for delivery and never disappoints, i love noodles and ramen but when i’m trying to eat healthy it’s hard to resist. buntopia here offers shirataki konjac noodles and i love them for that ✨💕 so goodddd their ramen broth is so good and not overly salty like a lot of other ramen places
I always order from Buntopia but today it was time for us to meet in person. I ordered the shrimptatious bun and the salmon sashimi bowl and they were both amazing. All the ingredients were so fresh and the meals were perfectly flavored. If I could eat from here everyday I probably would. The ambiance is also great with plenty of seating. Don’t wait, eat here now.
I am vegetarian and I live right next door, so I love this place! This place has very healthy and tasty Japanese food thats not super expensive, and the best part is the large number of options available for vegetarians (yay!). Plus it has a very bright feel and ambience, and the people are very nice. Ramens are big and super filling. The bunburgers are delicious while packing good calories for an empty stomach. Veggie gyoza is a favorite. And the vegan sushi rolls are good treats 👌
Yummy food alert! I randomly found this place on Yelp while searching for vegan sushi and holy cow this was the best meal Ive had in 2018. Definitely a must try! Its an omni Asian fusion restaurant in Bedstuy with a half vegan menu, seems to be owned and operated by a family, very affordable, and lovely environment. Pictured: the table setting, Happy Bull-da buns, Mas and Must rice paper roll, and Zesty Green roll. We also had the vegan ramen with crispy soy nuggets and a piña colada smoothie. Everything was phenomenal!! Note they ask you to clean up after yourself so that they can keep the prices low and tip-free, though there is a tip jar on the counter if you wish to leave something!
Been to Buntopia many times now and my going back should be a good sign. I do not think that the food is spectacular by any means but it is very convenient and a good place to meet. I actually really enjoy the fact that each person is responsible for cleaning their table at the end. It creates a communal feeling. This place does a good job to connect with people who might not be comfortable with the cuisine. They have photos of all the dishes up on the wall so people know what they are ordering. Will be back and hope you’ll go too!
Bun burgers are pretty good. Have a fresh tase. The bun is nice and soft and is served on a bamboo steaming tray. Free spa water. The sweet potato fries are great I believe they are cooked with an air fryer. Reasonable amount of seating. Overall would recommend for a quick bite to eat.
Yum!!!I’ve never had vegan sushi - it was delicious! Basically, I read a bunch of reviews to figure out what to try, and ended up ordering the popular things: mango tango; happy bull-da; and a watermelon shake. (I think the shake has lots of strawberries in it as well - seed city.)Eat here!
I felt embarrassed and humiliated. I made an online order for pick up; my total was about $48.00. When I arrived to pick up my order, I told the employee I will pay for my order with cash. I gave the employee a hundred dollar bill. Upon taking the hundred dollar bill, the employee marked it with a “counterfeit check” marker. The marker clearly showed the bill to be real. She stared at me and said, “we don’t have change”.They refused a federal note, after checking for its authenticity.I felt so humiliated and stereotyped. I strongly believe I was racially profiled. If my $100 was counterfeit, why didnt they keep it and call the police? Why give it back? I wouldve gladly showed the police.I strongly urge management to hold workshops, to improve customer service. There’s no reason we should be going back and forth on this. It’s a bit ridiculous and childish.
Edit: One day I was bored and decided to try the other things on the menu. Theyre really good and Ive been ordering a lot lately. Too afraid to try the buns again though. Sushi is better than the neighborhood. A lot of the drinks arent sweet at all you might wanna ask before buying one. Nice staff super covid safe.Original:Tried two kinds of buns and didnt like either of them. One was kinda bad, the cuts of meat were not the kind that my brain wanted to swallow. Way too rubbery.
This is my new favorite restaurant and I’ve only been here once. I came with about 4 friends and we each made like 4 different orders because we kept wanting more! It was so delicious we couldn’t get enough. Even then, the staff didn’t get agitated with us because of our continuous orders and served us kindly. I came to Brooklyn from the Bronx and I would definitely do the commute over again to eat here.
Good food at a great price! I’ve had a variety of things, bunburgers, wraps and rice bowls, and everything has been delicious. There’s always a lot going on in each item but nothing overwhelming. As someone who loves veggies I appreciate their focus on whole, unprocessed ingredients.Staff is friendly and helpful!
Probably one of the best and most refreshing meals Ive had in a while. I got the mango tango, which may sound weird but its presentation and taste was immaculate. Sweet mango slices compliment the spiciness of the vegan protein, so add some soy sauce and wasabi mix of salty and spicy, it had me in a daze. Im a big fan of steamed buns too so I loved the aloha slider. Definitely satisfied my cravings. 100% will recommend and 100% will come back
Vegetarian review here:The food is not very good. Ive eaten here a couple of times and I never once liked anything I ordered. Would not recommend for vegetarians. The food is also a little expensive. I would not find myself eating here too often. My friends who are not vegetarian tell me that they would enjoyed the dumplings they have. The place is very clean, modern and atmosphere is very good
Their concept is pretty nice, but overall, the food is inconsistent and thats incredibly irritating for a fat boy like myself. One day is really delicious, the next its a bland mess of poor executed dishes. It seems that the quality of flavor of the dishes is entirely reliant on the mood of the employees of the day.
This is my first experience at Buntopia and so far it was lovely. I ordered a Ramen bowl with Chicken, boiled eggs, spinach and corn.I loved the uniqueness the meal contained and the different flavors I wasn’t custom to. The Cashier was very helpful in helping me choose my order and I would totally come again, I just wish I was informed my soup was going t be spicy.
This is a beautiful, clean restaurant with a slightly deceiving name. I thought it was a burger place but was pleasantly surprised to find its an Asian fusion restaurant with ramen, sushi, rice bowls and other delicious goodies. I got the Tom Yam Kai ramen which was flavorful, spicy and warming, perfect for what was a cold a windy day. Definitely would go again and definitely would recommend this place.
I loved this place. The food was fresh, delicious and even had a lovely presentation. Its fast food on a whole new level. The scallion wrapped tempura shrimp, veggie gyoza and unagi sushi with brown rice were really good. Were moving to Brooklyn in December and will be back.
Food was good. Very small portions for the cost. The counter staff was pretty caddy and not very helpful, leaning towards calling her rude. The atmosphere is coming together but lacks continuity, they are new so I wont hold it against them. Its a toss up as to wether or not Ill come back, which is a shame because pork buns are my favorite food.
I wasnt finished with my meal and the guy just came and took my bowl and asked me for my table to use for new customers walking in. However, I am a paying returning customer and wasnt done. Last time Ill ever spend money here. Thats horrible and unfair. Seemed a bit biased as well.
Good little Asian spot with ramen, buns, rolls, salads and a few other items. Its a very clean place, set up cafe style where you place put in your order at the counter, seat yourself, they serve you and you clean it up into bins. A welcome addition to the neighborhood.
Very clean restaurant, everything done in excellance. Server at counter was helpful in helping me select a food option. Open and inviting place. I never take the time to rate anything on Google or write an opinion, but this place was worth it. When Im back in the neighborhood, this is my new place to eat.
Food/drinks are amazing and expertly crafted, and they serve everything you could want: sushi, ramen, buns, acai bowls, smoothies, espresso drinks, tea, fresh pressed raw juices, wraps, etc., and vegan options/substitutions for everything..... I mean really what else would you want from a restaurant? It is also informal cafe style with free wifi so if you want to go enjoy a meal that tastes like it is from a five star restaurant but still work on your laptop for a few hours you can totally do that and not feel out of place. It is like a cafe meets restaurant/sushi bar and I am in love. Price point is very decent and it very clean and beautiful inside. Also, their water is served with mint and lemon. 👌
We had the vegan nugget Ramen (excellent) and the shrimpatation buns (tasty, albeit kinda small). The menu is so bizarre, but in a wonderful unexpected way. Like a drink with natural lavender smoothed into taro mix, espresso and steam milk. Topped with cream whips and real lavender buds. Wuttttt?? Lol. I actually cant wait to try the rest of the menu.
The Ramen soup was so good. You could totally tell they put natural ingredients only. Perfect seasoning for someone from Chaoshan region (south eastern China). The the fried shrimps Bunburger that you could see on the photo, was surprisingly good. I know it is a bit weird to describe a fusion food authentic, but it is what it is. The people who works there are very friendly, not just to the customers, but also to each other. This is definitely a hidden treasure in Broadway Brooklyn!

2022-06-18It was a breath of fresh air to be greeted by a cheerful welcoming staff. We ordered takeout but will definitely be back soon to dine-in. Their dumplings were the perfect texture and seemed to melt upon chewing. The bun burgers were incredibly flavored! I was impressed…5 stars 👍

2022-05-18I’ve been coming here, but not super frequently, for a few years now and have always been pleased. They are very consistent. Always nice people and prompt service, food is always fresh and tasty, and the inside (and now outside backyard) is super pleasant. This place does not feel like it is only steps away from the grimy vortex of droopy k2 zombies at the Myrtle-Broadway vortex, but a peaceful little haven of clean and calm order. I have yet to try everything on their menu because there is so much to choose from, mostly healthy vegan choices. Everything I have ordered has always come out very tasty and NEAT. I value how dining establishments present their food, so the neatness matters. I will be a fan forever.

2022-06-13The Oyster Bay buns are amazing. The food was very good and fresh, service was amazing and prices are unbeatable. The back garden has cozy little booths but you might want to bring a mosquito repellent.Highly recommended!

2022-04-01Purple rice sushi was very fresh and good! For takeout, the Tater tots were still very crispy but the tandoori seasoning was too heavy for me. It was too salty. Also got rose Thai boba, which sweetness was just right. My only complain is the Boba was too tough

2022-03-28I love buntopia, its always fresh and made with great ingredient, and I always feel like its a good and healthy choice. It can be a bit expensive for a standard lunch if you usually get 2+ things like I do, and portions arent huge, but this is a quality over quantity spot imo.Service is always very pleasant and I never wait long for my food.
