A beautiful, scenic camping area with spotless facilities and very accommodating owners. It was small, quiet, and an overall stellar experience. Would recommend.
My wife and I Stayed there In a rv for a month and a half while traveling for work. If you want a quiet evening with a beautiful view, spotless facilities, and awesome management, this place is worth a visit. Craig and Bitty do a fantastic job . I’ll be staying here anytime I’m in the area.
I was there for a festival, so I dont feel I can really comment about this place as a campground. I wasnt there to experience its normal use. It is, however, a beautiful location, and it seems the owners keep it clean at all times. If I ever have an RV in the future, I will visit again and post another comment. Im sure it will be a very positive experience!
I always stay here when vending the annual fiber festival here. Owners are eager to ensure a good experience. Camp is clean and neat, bathrooms and showers are immaculate, and you cant beat the company.
It was wonderful. A small campground with great people running it. A picturesque setting among lush foliage and a great view of the rolling hills.Good for a relaxing stay.
Friendly, helpful people in a small, neat and tidy smalll-town USA setting! Campground was small but perfect. The owner even helped us find them by meeting us at the driveway, flashlight in hand. Popular historic tavern less than a mile away. Bouckville antiques show right nearby. Would definitely stay again. Pretty countryside... Thanks!
Really nice place to camp, nothing special about the campsites but they are nice. Really nice owners and helpful clean showers and rest rooms. Laundry facilities. Will camp there again when visiting in Madison County. Definatly recommend.
Very nice, peaceful small RV park. Very well kept. The owner and his wife are very friendly and helpful. We plan to return and stay long term next spring.

The owners of this campground will bend over backwards to accommodate you as you stay at this facility. They are very friendly. We have stayed here numerous times.

I have been there for the CNY Fiber Festival in June. I havent camped there, but the bathrooms are clean. I probably wouldnt tent camping there in wet weather, but campers or RVs would be fine.
Didnt camp, parked for annual antiques shows. Raised price from $2 or $3/day to $5.

2019-06-16Craig and Biddy are the best people you will ever meet at any campgrounds. I guarantee that. They will do everything to make sure your happy here. Their place is spotless and we just love them both. This area is the best of New York state country.

2019-06-02It is a credit to the lovely owners for keeping this place quaint and clean! The nicest couple own this place! We had firewood delivered on our arrival. We rate this place as our best campground on our 3 week journey through Canada, Nova Scotia, Maine, Massachusetts etcRoute 20 across the top of NY State is highly recommended as is at least an overnight stay hereThanks for the hospitality x

2021-07-08Biddy & Craig are awesome! Their RV campground is wonderful. If youre looking for peace & serenity this is the place to be. We were welcomed with big smiles & happy hellos. The RV sites are plenty big & they have great bathrooms available amongst other things. We stayed 4 nights & we were very comfortable here. We would absolutely stay here again. It was affordable & both Biddy & Craig make sure you have what you need. Craig even comes out to accommodate your black tank needs if needed. They also have a dumping station available. We had water hooked up & 30 AMP electricity hooked up. They even have Wi-Fi that worked. I would highly recommend staying here. And we plan to the next time we are in the area. Also they have an Antique show that comes sometime in August. If you love Antiques call them for more information. Thank you so much Biddy & Craig it was wonderful to meet you both. 2020-10-10We were looking for somewhere to stay on our way East, and I spotted Butternut Hill on Google Maps. We pulled up without having a reservation and Craig and his wife were so kind and helpful to get us situated as it was getting dark. The site was very level and had nice water and electric hookups, and they even had a fire ring with some wood and a picnic table! There were mature trees backing most of the sites and each site had a nicely placed conifer to give some privacy. When we were rolling out, Craig came out and helped us dump our tanks - they’ve got a clean dump site and a fresh water hose and even a loaner sewer pipe, which was quite nice to not have to pull ours out. I wish we’d had time to stay longer, because the views were peaceful and it was very relaxing. I’d totally come back to poke around in the antique stores nearby!

2021-08-29This is a show field for the Bouckville antique show and its a good one. Easy access. Parking will cost you $5 but its a decent location for the top of the hill section of the show.

2020-07-16The owners of this campground go above and beyond. If you’re in the area I highly recommend staying at this campsite. My husband travels for work and he has stayed at many places, however this one was by far the best! If you’re in the area I highly recommend staying here. The views are just amazing. They have a bathhouse and laundry facility. They give you a complimentary outdoor trash can which was a very nice touch. The prices can’t be beat!

2020-07-16I parked here for work for 2 months, my experience was amazing. You have WiFi, power and water hookups and Craig is great about pumping out the tanks every few days, coin operated laundry, as well as nice bath houses and he also offers trash cans at the camper which I must say I miss most. Craig and Biddy are very friendly and a pleasure to be around.

2020-05-19My husband and I stayed here when we needed a long-term site and the owners of this small campground were so nice! Very friendly, helpful, would do pump out services every 2-3 days or as needed. Provided a fire pit, picnic table and trash can for our site. They have water and electric hook ups as well as a dump station and trash dumpster. They even helped us flush out our tanks before we left as it was our first time camping. Cant say enough good things about this quaint little campground! 10/10 would recommend if youre in the area.
