My wife and I had dinner there last night and everything was amazing. We had the KC tenderloin tips as an appetizer and the tips melted in our mouths. We also had the soup of the day which was the chicken tortilla soup that was very good and tasty as well! For dinner, we had the Portobello Porker sandwich and the smoked brisket dinner plate. We thoroughly enjoyed both meals and couldn’t be happier with our choices! To accompany our meal we ordered the mudslide and the Bw blues signature cocktail both drinks were delicious. To finish our meal we shared the chocolate peanut butter pie, which also was fantastic!! We’d also like to mention our server Melissa was very attentive and provided great service! My wife and I highly recommend BW’s Smokin’ Barrels Barbecue as a great dining experience. Great food and great service! What more can you ask for?! Thank you BW’s we will be back again real soon and will be spreading the word on your wonderful establishment!!!!!
Was not impressed. The food was average at best. Menu had the basic bbq staples (pulled pork, ribs, brisket, and chicken). Would have liked to seen some sausage. Pulled pork was good. Brisket only served in slices. Ribs were ok. Chicken was ok. Sauces were underwhelming. Would have liked to see an option to buy meats separately, by the lb. Im not saying dont give this place a try. This is only my opinion based on one visit, I would give it another try.
My kids ordered Fathers Day dinner from there. I went to pick it up and when I got home there were things missing from our order. I had to wait 15 minutes which turned into a half hour to pick up the remaining food yes I had to pick it up. That was my Fathers Day dinner experience and what is the slimy gelatin inside the ribs. The ribs that were burnt to a crisp you cant hide that with all the sauce in the world. Whatever youre injecting to make up for dried out is not working never again I wonder what kind of cancer Im going to get from the jellied meat tenderizer they fed us. Never again
Omg! This place is rib heaven! The bones pull out with zero effort. If youre a rib person you know thats essential. Theyre sauce has both a sweet and spicy melody going on. Its lil smacking for sure! Then...the bacon candy! Amazingly the prices and service are just as good as the food. Then! Then! Their beer! Delish! My 14 y/o son is a serious rib monster. Upon eating a few bites he was already planning on going back the next day. Were looking forward to our next visit there.
My husband said they were the best ribs he has had in a while. Great birch beer. Several different types of BBQ sauce on the table. Staff was clearly overwhelmed and we heard several waitresses apologizing for delays of food, and witnessed 2 run in to each other and spill a tray.
Friday night and everyone is doing fish fry. But I want meat. BWs looks like the place to be. Seated in the corner I was surprised by a train horn above my head. Low and behold theres a train running around the dining room ceiling. Loved it. The menu had a great variety of choices but the 4 meat platter suited my mood. Brisket that was moist and tender. A pile of pulled pork that was flavorful. Two fall off the bone ribs. And a quarter of a chicken grilled to perfection. Add potato salad and baked beans and you have a meal fit for a displaced Texan. Topped it off with a slice of peanut butter pie. Only thing missing was my unsweetened tea but Mom would be happy because I had her favorite RC cola. Will definitely be back again. Hopefully soon.
Super great barbeque. I stopped in here on our way to a Bills game with a friend of mine who had never been here before. You would think he was in heaven. He just raved about how good all the food was. I gotta say it was so much easier than prepping our own tailgate party. And we only had the two of us so it was a perfect solution to tailgating. All the delicious flavor and we didnt have to work. Great way to go to the football game. Go Bills.
I had the fish fry very good light and crispy on the outside cooked just right homemade Mac and cheese , coleslaw and crispy french fries,. Ive been there before and had the ribs and brisket very good rib meat falls right off the bone delicious and great homemade bbq sauces
Ordered the chicken and pulled pork catering dinner with Mac&cheese and broccoli salad for 50 people. The food came on time, hot and was delicious. Super affordable and would totally recommend this catering for any party! My guests also appreciated the wet wipes included in the utensils bag!
I ordered a slab with three sides. The ribs were fall off the bone flavorful with a nice selection barbecue sauces to add. For my three sides I had baked beans and potato salad. Baked beans and coleslaw was pretty nice but I didnt care for potato salad. The potato salad was very heavy on the (just not my thing). Great service friendly personalities and a decent price for the amount of food that came with the meal
We found this place about 7 or 8 years ago. My wife had ordered from them for my 50th back in 2015 and the food was great. Since then we have eaten in the restaurant once and had 2 or 3 takeout orders from them over the years. This weekend we celebrated my parents 60th wedding anniversary and decided to have a BBQ in the park. After looking at BBQ places near by I saw they were still open. We decided to go with them and were not disappointed! There were 15 of us so the catering would have been too much but on their normal menu, they have a section where you can buy in bulk.We ordered the two bucket chicken and ribs special, 2lbs a brisket and 2lbs of pulled pork along with Mac&Cheese, Beans and Sweet Tater fries. Everyone LOVED the food!!! The ribs were fall off the bone, melt in your mouth tender, the brisket was also very tender and the pulled pork was delicious. The sides were great too but just to note, the fries do not travel well as we had a shelter at Ellicott Creek park. They were still good, just got a little mushy when they got cold but that is on me. :-)We have tried other BBQ places over the years and while some are good and others are inconsistent, it is nice to see this place holing true to their standards!!!My 80+yr old parents had a great time and chowed down on the food as did the rest of the guests. The food made the party complete! I highly recommend BWs to anyone looking to have a catered BBQ!
We were at a wedding last weekend catered by BW BBQ. Disgusting. That food sat on that grill for hours. No matter how much bbq sauce you put on ribs, it does not hide the fact that they were burnt to a crisp. The chicken was nothing but bones and I cant even imagine how you turn macaroni and cheese that color of orange. Nasty food ruins a wedding and you get what you pay for. Cheap and disgusting.
The staff was friendly enough and one of my two orders was made quickly... Albeit the second order was 11 items so I really am not upset with the time it took. They are located in a good spot on your way out and into town so if you have a couple hours to spare for a later back atmosphere.
BWs has always been fantastic, and they seem to have emerged from the covid lockdown even more refined. Their food is fall-off-the-bone tender and juicy, wait staff are attentive, friendly and informative and wait times; even when busy, are short. If you like BBQ, try BWs, you wont regret it!
Really disappointed in their customer service. Called a few days in advance to see what the plans were for Father’s Day take out. Was given a run down of the day and told to call back after 4pm Father’s Day to place a hot food take out order. Called back at 4:15 today, on Father’s Day to place an order, and was told that they weren’t accepting take out orders. When I explained what I was told, the woman became extremely defensive, rude, and short, saying they’re too busy before hanging up on me. Extremely poor customer service.
Seriously one of the best BBQ joints in the area. The food is outstanding. The service is always friendly and helpful. The dining room is always clean and maintained. Its not fancy and its perfect for a BBQ joint. Love this place! Great pick up and great fish fries too!
Bws bbq is my go- to spot when ever Im having a family function or gathering, i usually order the 1/2 chicken dinners for 30 or more and its always more than enough. The ribs r delicious as well but the chicken is my fave. The staff members are very courteous and polite, i even got a chance to speak with the owner the last time i was there and she told me thank you for my patronage and support, i will always remember that, and that alone Will always bring me back.
Hands down thee best BBQ in buffalo . Ive been around the world, and these are some if thee best ribs I have ever had . Got the ribs from them for the first time last week, couldnt stop thinking about them. So had to go again, and they were just as good as the first time I had them . Not only that, they have a very friendly staff . 10/10
We recently tried this place for the first time. I have struggled between 4 and 5 stars because I think the place is excellent. I would not say its the best Ive ever had so I resist the five. I will say its a very friendly place the staff and owner were extremely friendly. Out of everything we tried which was chicken ribs and brisket without question the ribs were most amazing. Everything else was good. Im not quite settled on a 5-star though. I would still highly recommend this place. I also wasnt in love with the barbecue sauces available. Not that they werent good but most of them on the table all had a sweetness to it. I personally prefer a smoky spicy sauce and there was not one available. Everything was good as is but I like to add some sauce and I just didnt really like any of them enough for my personal taste.
Fast friendly service. But food was a little small portioned than I expected. The ribs were tender and flavor was great. Pulled pork was just ok. Im from out of town and the soda drink flavor is affected by local water flavor. Filtration system might make this better.
My friend ordered the half rack ribs dinner. I got the quarter rack. My friends was perfect fall off the bone goodness. When our waitress Brittney saw me trying to find meat behind the thick fat she immediately came over and offered me another one which came out quickly and was perfect. The sides were awesome. Will definitely be back.
I had a bad feeling agreeing to come here based on some recent reviews. I wished I decided on going someplace else. The service was painfully slow, even with a more than half empty building. The tiles above my son leaked and some type of water dropped on him. The sauces are good quality, but you will need them for the dry, shoe leather tough pork. I feel bad that they just can’t be better. The place has been around forever. Next time we are in town I will give them another chance.
Ive been a huge fan of their ribs for years! I have tried them at all sorts of places and festivals but not at the restaurant. Tonight was special..1st visit here and it was All you can eat Wednesday I ate 3 portions and was stuffed! It also includes all the sides you want too. About 10+ to choose from. I tried 3 and all were delicious.
The staff here are great, the waitress we had was very good. Drinks stayed full, she was polite and didnt rush us.The food was just alright, brisket had no bark, was under seasoned and didnt have much if any smoke taste. No visible smoke ring. I know the smoke ring means little, but normally its at least visible. The ribs were over cooked and falling apart, charred on the top, sauced on the top but NO rub or sauce on the underside (pic attached of rib underside). They came as a full slab, the crust on the top was so hard and the meat so over cooked that they just fell apart when cutting. They tasted okay, the BBQ sauce they have is great. As is the variety of the sauces they have. 4-5 different typed to choose from. The Carolina sauce is awesome. The sides were all lacking. We had the garlic mash, mac and cheese and the baked beans. The baked beans were the best of all three. Mash and mac and cheese were all very bland. The gravy helped the mash but it did taste like pre-made gravy. Mac and cheese tasted like nothing. Everything missing salt. They did seem to have a lot of staff, and they just gathered by the bathroom it seemed. Kind of made it awkward to go to the bathroom. All and all id skip this, you can make better ribs in your oven and make a chuck roast that tastes better than the brisket. After paying $55+ for two people we should have went to dinosaur.
The Q was spectacular. Nice smokey flavor without being overpowering. Huge portion of RibTips, brisket was nice and moist, the Chicken was so juicy and the Ribs fell off the bone. Sweet Potato fries with some sort of honey sauce to dip in were cooked perfect, crisp outside, soft inside. Last but not least Sarah our server was AMAZING. So friendly and super attentive. We most certainly will be returning to BWS.
Love BWs!! Best Ribs I have ever had!! Been here countless times and have never had a bad experience! I went in last minute and ordered food for 9 people, the price was fair and the waitress sat with me and discussed how much for I should order to feed my small crowd, a very pleasant experience!! I would recommend anybody to try their ribs! Fantastic!!
My complaint is not the food. Ive had the pleasure of dining here twice with friends and the food is Outstanding and served in portions that will allow leftovers. My guests and I always order the Bbq Dinner Plate a wonderful combo of the best that you offer. But on this day I bragged to a new client about your place and so we ended there around 5:15 and was greeted politely and sat immediately. And thats where we remained for 22 minutes. No one even acknowledge us. Even as we tried to be patient with the waiting staff, no one tended our table as others were seated and served quickly. My client suggested we leave without complaint for she felt too embarrassed to speak on it or request a manager. Im so dissatisfied with this evening dining.
We placed an order Saturday night for my sisters fiances bachelor party. The orders got mixed up with another Joe but since I was the last order of the night, the phones were no longer able to be answered. I messaged them on Facebook messenger and they called me within 3 minutes. I had my original order within 15 minutes. Excellent service and they saved the bachelor party. Will definitely do business with them again.
Decided to try this restaurant after seeing it at the EC fair for years. Ordered charbroiled wings and half ribs. Wings were okay on outside, dry on inside, sauce while acceptable was not top notch. Blue cheese arrived at table noticeably dried out, had to get a replacement which was better. On to the ribs, were told these were “best in Buffalo” by waitress. Not so. Tried a small corner, fatty, nowhere near tender, chewing endlessly on this small sampling. My sides, garlic mashed potato, lumpy, looked like it was sitting out all day. The fries looked okay but never tried them. Total disappointment. Although I paid for the meal which came to around $60, tried calling manager at main telephone afterwards, nobody answers even though restaurant is open, answering machine says “call back during business hours.” If you are a real BBQ enthusiast and you go here, prepare for a subpar experience. They probably have some inexperienced staff during weekdays. Not sure if I went on wrong day but won’t be back ever. Waitress was good and the pink lemonade drink, expected more for near $60. Stick to Texas Roadhouse, best advice.
I dont like to post negative reviews and will keep to myself, but this time around Im going to say Im extremely disappointed with this place. Not sure if it was because we were younger or what it was, but we were definitely treated different. Let me start off by saying we werent even offered rolls when we sat down. All other tables were offered rolls (I dont need the carbs anyways but it was the point that they werent even offered). The waitress was kind of off putting and condescending. Then we order and find out theyre out of brisket at 3 in the afternoon? It isnt even dinner time. The appetizers were fine, but the dinners were cold and the place wasnt even busy. Our refill drinks kept being forgotten, and I could continue to go on about other things including the dirty looks but I will leave it that. Needless to say, this place used to be awesome, but unfortunately has gone downhill and we will not be returning. So disappointed, what a waste of time and money driving 30 minutes for an uncomfortable and terrible experience.
We went here last night after a funeral and were disappointed. I dont see how they have the star rating they have.We had 1/4 chicken, ribs and brisket along with a kids chicken finger meal. Our sides were mac & cheese and coleslaw. The coleslaw clearly was a prepackaged mush and if there was flavor to be had in the mac&cheese they left it somewhere in the kitchen. The brisket was the best of the meats but none of them were very good. The ribs were over cooked as was the chicken. We did get there an hour before close so maybe we just got the scraps left over, it sure seemed that way.The waitress was great.....only reason for the second star. We dont live in that area of town and wont be taking a trip to go back anytime soon.......AKA ever.
Service was good, sweet potato fries were good, everything else was bad. Their ribs are not even close to the best I ever had. They fell apart and I had to use a fork. That is not how ribs are supposed to be. You should be able to pick them up , take a bite and have the meat pull away but still have meat on the bone. The ribs were also caked with sauce, again not how ribs are supposed to be. Their brisket was dry and cut very thin. Was more of a roast taste than true Texas brisket. No hint of any rub used. The mac and cheese had very little flavor and was stupid hot like it had just been microwaved. Will not go back.
We have been on the hunt for a BBQ restaurant that has great food, great service, and a relaxed feel. We were beyond impressed with BWs. We walked in and were greeted immediately. While the woman went to get our table ready, another server came to make sure we were being taken care of. We were seated and our friendly server Madison came right on over and assisted us with picking out a few items to try. My husband had the ribs and brisket. I had the pulled pork. The food was mouth watering. The side dishes were also extremely tasty. We were so impressed we actually went back the next day for lunch. We had their reubens and were very impressed with the flavor of the corn beef. Both days that we went one of the owners made a point of stopping over to say hello. This added touch meant a lot to us. We love mom and pop shops that take pride in their food and take the time to meet their customers. This is definitely a fast favorite of ours. We are heading back Wednesday for all you can eat ribs and bringing another couple with us. If you are in the area you MUST stop in. Anything you order will be delicious!
Overall, good experience! Pulled pork was decent, (bland but good). Brisket was very good. Chicken was also descent. Ribs however were WAY over cooked - a pile of mush! All the sides I had were good or very good EXCEPT the potato salad - truly awefull - avoid at any cost!! Would I go back - yes. Would I recommend you go - yes......BEWARE THE POTATO SALAD.
OMG BWS is still the best. I havent been there in a while only because I used to live closer to it. Ribs are so good. Only if you like smokey, fall off the bone good. Chicken is great too. The sides are all good my favorite is the Mac and cheese delicious. They have the BBQ sauce on the table so theres always plenty. A great place for family and friends to meet.
Friday night dinner we got right in! Brisket, pork and ribs were great. We also enjoyed all our sides; sweet potato fries, grilled veggies, mashed potatoes, broccoli salad, and the bacon potato soup. Many menu options, will definitely be back! The chicken is on the vingary side, good but not what I care for.
Pickle fries were a disappointment, just skins and batter. My macaroni and cheese smelled like wet dog and was not even bearable to choke down. Guacamole didnt seem fresh on the ultimate bacon burger. BUT the ribs were great, fell off the bone great taste and seasoning. Server was nice as well.
This place was absolutely wonderful. Our waitress was very friendly and even turned the train for my son which made his night. The food was amazing. Some of the best BBQ Ive had in a while. I got the meat platter, the chicken was probably my favorite of all of it. I look forward to going back again soon.
Bw used to be great but my recent experience wasnt so much. The chicken was dry and nothing was as wow as it used to be. Not terrible, just not great. The waitress mixed up every single order which was annoying but not horrible, we still got our food after a while. But the most horrifying thing was when my husband ordered a stout beer and she brought an open bottle that clearly had been filled with Budweiser.Gross.I dont know if thats a house thing or if we just got unlucky on a bad waitress but we were kind of freaked out and wont be back.
I dont like BBQ but everyone else in my party liked it. That being said there are plenty of options for those that dont like BBQ. The service was fast and very friendly. The prices were very cheap. There beer selection was what you would come to expect at most other restaurants. They have a full bar and also serve wine. The booths were large enough to accommodate a party of 6. The portions were large. I highly recommend the garlic mashed potatoes as a side.
Food has gone downhill fast! They put all the sides in bowls n refrigerat them when u order they just place that small side bowl in the microwave n reheat it! Not satisfied at all! Use to b a favorite spot of mine but when u take the effort n care out of bbq u mine as well close ur doors! Wouldn’t feed food to my dog!
My family and I have been going to BWs for years now and Im never disappointed. The menu has remained consistent throughout the years and so has the food. The staff at BWs is always friendly and courteous. I havent tried their catering but know people that have and have not heard a bad things about it. Their chicken and ribs are to die for and the corn bread is the BEST that I have ever had.
This restaurant is a family establishment and has a great atmosphere. The food is great and the workers/owners treat you like family.•Note a lady wrote that they are racist. STOP! Get your facts straight before pointing fingers. Color isn’t a factor here EVERY COLOR is accepted!Keep up the great work and don’t worry about the negativity!
Great food, nice employees.... But I feel the prices have risen very high..I know people have to make their bottom line but BWs use to be very affordable prices were up there but it was an up there you could afford. Also when your order is made wrong or not to your standards theyve become very defensive and question you til you basically say nevermind, employees make the mistake not the restaurant but the restaurant shouldnt make it the guests fault . But food is epic when made right
I had the worst experience at this establishment ever and I never thought that in 2018 in a city in the north that I would experience racism. When my fiance and I walked into the restaurant and asked for a table we were told that there were no tables available and were offered a table at the bar which is completely separate from the main dining area. The crazy part is the fact that there were at a minimum 6 tables and booths open and there were no patrons waiting. We chose to wait for an open table and went to the rest room to freshen up, miraculously when we returned they were able to find a table in ther middle of the main dining area. We felt so uncomfortable. The people around the restaurant blatantly stared at us as if we didnt belong. We ended up leaving because as I said people were staring.
I love this place. The food is always so good and they serve big enough portions for me to have a decent box of leftovers for later. They dont have obnoxious tvs everywhere so you can actually focus on your meal. Prices are reasonable and the employees are always friendly. Never received a meal that I didnt like there! In my opinion, its the best place around for bbq food and I will surely be a repeat customer for years to come!
Several people sat down after us and were served before us.25 minutes until someone noticed that we have not been served, said to send our server over.Server showed positive attitude.Another 20 minutes without seeing the rest of our appetizers. One appizer was free as compensation.Dinner came pretty quick.Baked potato was hard.Ribs were dry.Check came pretty quick.Edit: bumped up to a 3 because the waitress turned on the train for my 3 year old brother
Went there after trying and loving their wings at the Taste of Buffalo. Wasnt busy on a Friday afternoon...ordered some wings and a reuban. The service was by no means slow but because they made an error they didnt charge me for it. Any other place would most likely havent said anything and let it go. Kudos to them. The reuban was excellent and the wings were as expected:awesome. Prices were VERY reasonable and the service was great. Definitely would recommend this place!!
First time in the restaurant and it will be the last!! The pop was gross it was like drinking straight syrup so switched to water.. thats fine! Went on all you can eat rib night was told no sharing and no boxes! Wow there are rules for people who are there eating, so if I cant finish my ribs Im supposed to let them go to waste instead of offering them to someone at the table! My ribs were charred, my boyfriends were covered in sauce, and his daughters were dry and gross! Then I gave a coupon and she took off $3 instead of $5 and then I mentioned that and she goes oh we cant use coupons on rib night and even after taking $3 off she put it back on! Well needless to say I will not be back and I have definitely had better!!
Not good food at all the french onion soup was ok the ribs were not cooked thoroughly and even the ends that were done were not good!!! Chicken was dry and the macaroni couldnt beat boxed Kraft!!! The owner came over and said our ribs are the best Im surprised you dont like them... Lol thanks for the apology I guess...
Fabulous! We ordered takeout for the last 2 family birthday parties and its a great change from typical pizza and wings or cooking. We order the pulled pork and they help you with deciding amount to order based on qty of people. Mac n cheese is delish, baked beans are yummy, and bbq ribs are to die for!Ask for extra bbq sauce if you order pulled pork for catering - helps with heating/reheating plus its delish
I usually love bws but tonight was not a good experience. Got out of work havent ate all day didnt feel like cooking anything so me and the kids went 2 minutes from the house to bws we were seated right away but then sat for 20 minutes and still no drink order was taken well we watched the people that came in before us getting there drinks and food we decided to walk out and go someplace else. Guess we will just be ordering take out from them from now on.
This place has the BEST BBQD RIBS....really everything BBQd....HANDS DOWN! They use their homemade marinade and cook over an open pit that is evident through that authentic smoky flavor. I usually get the sample platter that offers a portion of their BBQd chicken, ribs, brisket and pulled pork. They also offer a variety of homemade BBQd sauces from spicy to sweet. Large portions for an unbeatable price. A MUST try.P.S. They also Cater!
What a delicious treat...somewhat off the beaten path! The service upon arrival, from our hostess (who offered a friendly greeting) to our server (adequately knowledgeable of the menu items and food preparation), was courteous and attentive. Our hot appetizers (namely, BBQ logs and Cheese Stuffed Banana Peppers) and entrees (Rib and Chicken combos) were so filling that we didnt have room for any desserts. (Although the dessert options that were mentioned sounded delish, the selection seemed small.) That mildly smokey BBQ though...authentic and fall-off-the-bone tender, with tons of sauce choices and a reasonable amount of tempting sides, ...so good! I kind of expected the bread (brought to the table in a simple plastic basket; complimentary) to be more rustic in line with the whole BBQ-theme, which wasnt the case; merely, soft fresh dinner rolls. (Other options were available, I guess upon request; upcharge?) Nonetheless...BWs did not disappoint! We look forward to going back...SOON. #fishfryready
Gave this place a second chance after witnessing some poor treatment of wait staff. Second chance got us both very sick. Will not be dining here any time soon. Such a shame as this was our go to BBQ place. Spoke with some neighbors who have decided not to return after getting sick also.
Food was like warmx was greasy service was ok.the waitress was talking to 2 ladies with 2 kids we couldnt even enjoy our dinner we had to hear their conversations. Kids were running around like maniacks.not enjoyable at all .she stood there for an hour and talked. Omgg .
This is a cook and reheat restaurant, meats are cooked too far in advance and then reheated. Meats taste of a refrigerater. Two meals were ordered one smoked chicken and the other brisket. The chicken was small and dry while the brisket was soft but also dry. They offer sauces of questionable concoctions habenero for one was spicy but no heat. Ordered was mac&cheese, chez-wiz or velveta put on elbow noodles does not make mac&cheese and the torching of the top does not make it gourmet. None of the above items where served hot only slightly warm. This restaurant is overrated and it is a shame they have the right idea but not the skills to make a great barbecue establishment.
Wish i could give 0 stars but Awful service and the waiter threw away 3/4 of my sandwich and a whole side of mac and cheese without even asking if I wanted a togo box and was never even asked how are food was HOPEFULLY YOU DON’T WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY HERE !!!!

2022-02-19Disclaimer** the kansas city tenderloin tips get 5 stars on their own!! DELICIOUS!! super tender, caramelized.... perfect. will be coming back for those on a regular basis!! now to review the other food- my friend had the broccoli cheese soup which he said was fantastic. the dinner rolls were adequately soft potato bread rolls. the banana peppers stuffed with cheese were good, but not amazing to the point that i would order them again. the ribs had a good flavor and were fall apart tender, sooo soft, not dry at all, but way too fatty for us. would not order again. the sweet potato fries were great, they came with a honey butter sauce that was delicious. definitely going back for the tenderloin tips and sweet potato fries! atmosphere was decent, nice privacy in the booths with taller covid barrier windows up. took quite a while to get the food though. server was pleasant and did a good job. My friend said the chicken was tender and moist, the mashed potatoes were thick but he said they were bland and a bit sticky, and he really liked the coleslaw.

2022-02-14Husband got the 1/2 rack of ribs; they were nicely tender with a slightly charred sauce. Very tasty. I got the peach habanero pork sliders. Good but not too peachy or spicy, added the hot sauce at the table, much good! Very good coleslaw and nice beer selection. Would definitely go back when we are in the area.

2022-06-29I cannot believe this BBQ place is rated as high as it is, it was simply bad. I had the half chicken two sides and a small side of their brisket to give it a try. Let’s start with the overall, not sure how they do it but they manage to get zero wood smell or taste into their meats. The brisket was tender, but had zero smoke ring on it or bark, it was a grey mass of meat. I feel bad for the poor cow that gave its life to make this abomination what what this place calls BBQ. Two day old pot roast warmed up in a microwave is better than what I had. Now on to the chicken. It had a nice char on it but again no smell or taste that would give you the impression it interacted with wood. I saw on the menu they charge extra for white meat. I did not do that and I am very thankful of that choice. It took a 16 oz bottle of water to get the breast down. It was so dried out I am pretty sure it was shelf stable. For sides I got the coleslaw and veg of the day. Coleslaw was average and the corn was very starchy and had zero flavor. The only bright spot was their BBQ sauce. It was the only thing that had any smoke flavor. It was not too sweet and nice. I would actually purchase it. Nice job on the sauce, your stars are based on it.One final note, I order takeout to bring to my hotel room. When I got back I noticed there were no utensils or napkins. Luckily the hotel had some.

2021-09-05The Sauce is amazing, my chicken wings were undercooked and potato skin were like crackers. The replacement wings were better! My friend had Ribs, fries and potato salad. The ribs melt in your mouth, fries could have been hotter and the potatoes in salad was to hard. Gave three Stars

Very family oriented as well! Tables and booths and also a bar area! Amazing beer, cocktail or wine selection as well! Awesome place overall with great service! 2022-06-28My husband and I used BWs catering services for our outdoor wedding this June. The staff handling my calls and questions were polite and helpful. They kindly followed my requests for changing some ingredients due to food allergies/intolerances. We ordered chicken and pork dinners, pasta, spuds, and a salad for 115 people. BWs arrive on time, cooked the food on-site, and served the food exactly when we wanted. The food was delicious and the portions were huge! Definitely a great value. Highly recommend their restaurant and catering services!!

2022-07-01The Food was Outstanding today. Brisket sandwich was tender, delicious. The Fish Fry is awesome. The KC tenderloins just melt in your mouth. The BBQ Candied Wings are a must. And the New England clam chowda is Liget. I know. Im from there.

2021-09-18The absolute worst chicken wings I’ve ever had. I ordered 10 bbq wings and these are old as hell. They taste like they’ve been sitting under a heat lamp since last night. I gave up 5 wings in and am now going to get myself dinner from tops. The chicken is so dry and old it is standing up by itself.. that’s not a bone, it’s dry chicken. Tasted old and disgusting. Called and spoke with manager Corey who said she will call doordash to refund the wings. Will update review when and if I’m refunded.

2022-01-27I came in with one expectation and was pleasantly surprised by this place. For starters the menu is expansive and you have plenty of choices and options with your order. The food was hot, delicious, and fairly priced. The bar room was spacious and the service was very good. Ive eaten plenty of BBQ and this place ranks up there for here in WNY.
