They could have screwed us over on a brake job. Instead they did a great job at an unbelievable rate. We decided to then have them replace our air conditioner and some other work. This was for folks from out of state!
If you want your car done right then its worth the wait. these guys do what they say they will and do it right. no bs. great prices and great work, im glad i found them

2022-04-29My Audi broke down on the road during a trip and most of mechanics nearby don’t take German cars. I was 3 hours away from home and desperate. Fortunately I found this garage and they are the BEST. Friendly and careful, they fixed my car within 2 hours for a very reasonable price. I couldn’t ask for a better experience, 10/10.

2022-05-04I was on a roadtrip in the catskills when my entire exhaust system fell out of my car on a dirt road.I found CJs and they were amazing. They were able to quickly diagnose the problem, fix it, and get me back on the road. Honest and skilled mechanics - Thanks!

2022-02-20We took our car to them for a mass air flow sensor problem. At the time of getting it there, there was 12 codes on. They had the car for over a week, and kept telling us theydidnt know what was wrong. Upon finally getting it back my car smelled of weed, there was ashes on the dash and there were still 4 codes on!! It still is running rough, the check engine light is still on and I paid over $800. I would reccomend no one use this shop

2022-03-20Picked up my vehicle after being told it should be fine to drive while they were waiting for another part and it broke down the same day. Ended up picking the part up myself and replacing it withing an hour.

2021-02-27I feel like my car wasnt running rite after they worked on it last year and then my alternator once again went less then a year and then found all these issues wrong due to the alternator not being put on properly.Alternator power voltage wire bolt was stripped and not getting the proper voltage it should have and my fuel pressure sensor wires were cut and electrical taped together with also looked like a used alternator last year at the time .So to ask me my opinion on it, my car was damaged and I will never use there services again ..

2020-07-20Charlie and all the other guys at CJs are great. They are super honest and know what they are doing. I got a tow from them years ago and I was ready to buy a whole new battery for my car but they figured out what the real problem was which was a minor repair and so saved me a few hundred dollars. I have come to them ever since with my Prius and always receive the same level of excellent and fast service. I cant recommend them highly enough!

2021-06-29I love that they took me in when I was planning a trip to Florida they inspected my moms car and did an oil change and their service is outstanding Thanks to my friend Michelle who referred me to take my car there I would recommend anyone to use them they are great people

2013-09-29Did excellent job repairing the exhaust system - welding, rather than replacing components, saving me $1000 in costs, which is important for 200K miles car. I am very lucky to have such a mechanic just around the corner from my new place. One note- communication-wise, one needs to be proactive with them (dont wait for them to call you!). Which was fine by me...

2019-10-22I occasionally stay up at a campground in Mettacahonts/Accord and use an older diesel pickup to bring my camper up from Long Island. One of my rear brake drums tightened up from backing into a space (faulty/hanging up slack adjusters) to the point of almost not being able to move and smoking the one drum when I did drive forward. I was too far from home to be able to fix it myself and looked around for good ratings/reviews on here. CJs seemed to be a place where the people would listen to me because I used to be a mechanic (a looong time ago) and at one time traveled the country drag racing motorcycles for 9 years. Charlie Johnson was welcoming, got me right in, and listened to what I had to say. His friendly mechanics not only fixed the issue, but lubed the star adjuster, cleaned the area well, re-adjusted both rear brakes for a very reasonable price and got me back on my way. Great place. Great people. Thank you again!

2016-11-25Charlie and his staff are awesome! Did my inspection and oil change while I waited and was a gentleman all the way through. Didnt try to upsell things I didnt need to pass inspection like other bigger shops. Highly recommended and I will be coming here from now on.
