Loved the food and the coffee was the best ever.
The first time I have been there.The food was very good,and not expensive.The staff that I dealt with were very nice to me and my friend Steve.I would highly recommend
Great food and service from a friendly, welcoming staff. Made me feel right at home like I was a regular even though this is my first visit. The owner (?) went out of his way to personalize my order. Will be back if Im in the area again!

I love this old fashion coffee shop. There are not many tables and it is very crowded on weekends. There is usually a wait. I had there form of an omelette. It was great. It is cash only so be prepared.

Very small inside but food was good & service was good, fast, & friendly. They only sell foods that are mainly breakfast & lunch. I had a bacon cheeseburger with fries it was very good. Also had chili to go wasnt very good but everybody makes chili different. Definitely would go here again.
CJS is a very friendly and family oriented place makes you feel comfortable what us really nice us they will remember you as well I highly recommend you go there 😀
This is the best breakfast restaurant in RVC. The staff is friendly, food is delicious, and the prices and portions are perfect. CJs is a gem of a restaurant and if youre ever passing through, I highly recommend getting some breakfast and coffee here.
There motto...if you dont eat here we both starve the best local family owned diner in RVC. Not a big place so you may have to wait a bit...but all good..why eat breakfast or lunch anywhere else....just nice people who run and own the place. CASHand coffee included with breakfasts.
CJs is an old style luncheonette that takes me back to better days. Fantastic food all day with a staff thats always friendly & accommodating to your every need. If you dont stop by youre really missing out.
This review is more about the customer service than the food. I don’t know a thing about the food because I never got the opportunity to order. I walked in for take out but, the folks at the register kept ignoring me and taking the order of the “regulars” behind me leaving me standing in the way unattended. I just moved to town and was looking forward to becoming a regular however, will not be going back.
Consistently good. This home-town fixture is two blocks away from my abode. Their breakfast is awesome, the people are friendly and the coffee is excellent. You cant go wrong, breakfast or lunch!
Great food and coffee, excellent service its our go to for breakfast. Great to bring the kids. Local, homey, where you feel like everyone knows your name its a special place we love dearly. Cash only closed Sunday.

Ok, so..weve lived on long island for 10 yrs and could never find a good place to have our Tuesday morning breakfast. We have now. So much better than good. It was grrrrrreat!

2022-06-18This is the place your brain thinks of when it hears Diner. Its got an amazing old school, classic Americana feel that I absolutely adore. The place is pretty small with only a handful of tables and counter space, so make sure you grab your spot early. I got the cinnamon bun French toast with a side of bacon and coffee, and the portion was perfect and not overly sweet at all and the bacon was perfectly crispy. Coffee, despite being naked a coffee house, was your run of the mill coffee. Staff was very friendly and helpful. No parking lot, so make sure you are okay with parking on the side streets and walking a little. Some sources had said it was cash only but they do take cards now! The prices are literally the best Ive seen anywhere, best bang for your buck no questions asked. Ill be happily returning here to try more!

2018-04-23Amazing food. Get the cinnamon bun French toast! Also had two Sunnyside up eggs with bacon and sausage. Bacon was cooked extra crispy but the sausage was perfectly done. Eggs were runny and the atmosphere was really nice. Old time diner feel with extremely friendly staff. Can’t wait to come again!

2022-01-14This is the classic OG of coffee shops in RVC. In a world where we think its OK for ride share services to drop off cold food, I sometimes just want to sit at the counter and order a breakfast served hot and home made. My new go to spot when I want to eat like a human again.

2021-01-25It was my 1st time there and the breakfast was amazing, truly amazing! The staff is great and friendly, and I got free coffee with my breakfast and you cant beat that. I got their famous breakfast consisting of eggs, cheese, bacon, home fries, and coffee with toast and it was good enough to have me coming back as soon as I can. Im quite sure they are putting a lot of smiles in hungry tummies!
