I used to hate food shopping because I hated supermarkets. THIS supermarket is different - I love this place. The store is clean, the staff is super helpful (they will stop what theyre doing to help you find stuff) and the prices are good. Everything I need is here - they carry everything. They even have delivery - I usually tip one dollar for each bag and I have BAGS. When I shop during the day they have a nice variety of hot food, and when I get home late from work theyre still open because they close at 10:00. I have several places to go in my neighborhood, but this is the only place I will shop. Big thumbs up 👍
Clean, courteous, friendly & knowledgeable including the bonus of being reasonably priced although on/off main thoroughfares law enforcement quite understandable but do not abuse them. Although residents are rude n inconsiderate, takes two to tangle. Just be aware n conscious while shopping.
I used to like this place because it’s so close to my apartment and it has decent prices. Since the pandemic started though they’ve done absolutely nothing to ensure that the people who shop there wear masks. That when mixed with their narrow aisles and their lack of any sanitation means it’s just breeding ground for COVID.
A newbie to the neighborhood & after visiting 4 supermarkets, this is easily my go-to. The staff is friendly and helpful. I do wish the majority of the fruits werent stored on the fridge and they dont have certain foods from the Caribbean that I would in find Brooklyn but prices are decent, and the place is clean.
Their prices are really high and they dont put things on sale that us needed. You have to go to the store to find out whats on sale. They use to put the flyer on Flipp. One other thing I do not see anyone of my color. Just them no one else. The ones they bring in they dont speak ENGLISH. I asked one if knew where exz was, he didnt even know what I was saying no speak English. Im confused. Sorry only go there if I have too. One of the managers told me he owned the driveway (sidewalk) bc his car was blocking it he didnt have to move it. WOW.
Wish I could give this a no star, these people are absolutely rude and prejudice, ive always greeted my fellow cashiers respectfully and these ones I stop doing it with them after the third time saying hello or good morning and they pretend like im invisible but here comes a Spanish or white and they are all bright eyed and bushy tail.
Best option in the neighborhood. Frequent sales, friendly, considerate staff, good selection, easy to find what you want. Their prices are usually the best too, with some weird exceptions. For some reason, the fresh bread is more expensive. Most of the rest of the stuff is cheaper. But the neighborhood has this C-Town, a Key Food, and a Foodtown. Out of the three, this is my store of choice.
Epitomizes the effects of gentrification on what once was an affordable super market. Prices are out of whack, attempting to capitalize on the new folks in the neighborhood while pricing out the old clientele. Definitely cheaper places to get items. Its saving grace is its convenient location. Overpriced.
Not a good place for last minute details specially if youre in a rush. I went to buy Ham and cheese for my Cordon Bleu. Specifically asked the deli guy to gave me the one on Sale the less expensive and told him what it was for, to please cut it thin, left to grab a shredded Parmesan Cheese. Came back grab it and rush to pay when I got to the register I realized that he gave me the most expensive. I was very upset but since I was in a rush couldnt go back. Got home just to realized that he didnt cut it thin totally opposite he cut it very thick make it almost impossible to roll it up. Last but not least the Parmesan chesse was moldy.
Ive been shopping at this location for some time now. Great produce, sales and great staff. Reason for the 3 stars is the owner of this store is by far the most cruel person. My child had won a bike and the owner at the event (which was held on the 7th of Sept) had given him a girl theme bike. My child was promised for a similar boy bike of another child who had one. I had given my contact info to the owner and the waiting began. One week later no calls nor updates on the bike. I called the store to only get info on the bike and the owner rudely stated how much shes overworked. 13hr to 14hr shifts and has no time! Shell call me when she is able to. Two weeks later returned to the store to pick up a baby boy bike! He is 7 yrs old and they had seen him a handfull of times. My child is highly upset since this incident and I had given the bike to my 3 yr old boy. Way to go in crushing a childs wishes. Ill be getting him a bike sometime this week.
Old scholl supermarket, they even still have packers there lmao... Didnt like the way the manager Steven spoke to me either just cause they put the wrong price on an item. Also ive noticed they dont change the prices when item is on sale. Be careful with that as well.
I was very upset when my c town by my area closed but they should be re opening soon this place is amazing with reliable foods and tons of sales they would sell things that normally costed three dollars for sixty cents also the positive energy they spread their is absolutely amazing g
I go to this supermarket quite a lot and it spacious and much bigger than what I remember. You can get a C-town card and get points and percentages off if you get enough points. They have sales all the time and you are by the 1 train. Across the streets is mikky Dees. It is nice one day I go and see which items they have on sale

2022-03-04Environment is nice. Music keeps you going thru the aisles. The items on the shelf doesnt match the price signs that they are sitting under. The prices are higher than the item should be. So watch for what you are picking up.. You may not be getting the sale items or the correct price for the item.Dont reach without Reading.Help a Senior Citizen to avoid paying higher prices.

2022-04-01One of the local markets in the neighborhood. Their produce is always fresh and for the size of the store, they have good selection of most items.

2022-03-22Very ghetto. Expensive but quality is cheap and the employees have no regards for customers. They stand in your way talking and ignore the fact you want to pass by. Its just tragic there.

2021-12-16This used to be a good supermarket but ever since they hired a lot of young and rude employees the customer service isn’t so good . A worker named Concepcion asked me if I knew English because I thought the pineapple juice was $2.99 and it was for a different juice . People like this should not be working as a cashier if they have no desire to treat people with respect.
