This has to be one the best Italian restaurants in NYC- right in the heart of Little Italy.Everyone received a bread basket & rosemary infused olive oil which is the perfect pairing you need in your life. For appetizers I had both cold & hot antipasto. My absolute favorites were the bruschetta & calamari. For entrees I had the fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp which was amazing.Lastly the desserts were a taste of heaven- especially the chocolate mousse covered cream profiteroles & cannolis. There’s so much seating too! Both indoor and outdoor.
We found it to be excellent. Great staff, knowledgeable, courteous and attentive. Friendly service. We ordered the fried chicken cutlet with rigatoni with red sauce, and the chicken with prosciutto and eggplant with spaghetti, both dishes were delicious, well prepared and if not too hungry, two can share a dish, each dish in the $25+ range. I had the red sangria and wine wine sangria, both tasty but i preferred the white, $12. He had a beer $8. Followed it up on this special occasion with a well prepared and delicious tiramisu cup, $8. $100+tax and tip.Very happy with our meal and service. We sat outside. Great evening experience.
What an amazing experience!!! We came from Orlando, and wanted a nice romantic dinner. So yummy so good! I wish I could give the chef a kiss!! We decided on the filet mignon ravioli and the lobster ravioli. I honestly DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE. I wanted to dive into both sauces and swim in them. The bread was amazing, the wine was amazing, the pasta was amazing, the server was amazing. I couldn’t ask for a better night, everyone was so attentive. I can’t wait to come back!!
Located on one of the corners at Little Italy in NY, cafe Napolis Ristorante represents a great choice. The restaurant seems very busy, however the service is fast, efficient, and good overall. The outside tables are the best option to capture the view of the street and enjoy the show. The staff is very nice. Starting with some bread, with olive oil, and a glass of Moscato is great. The food is delicious and has a great presentation. I tried a rib eye steak and a salad. My friend ordered a lasagna. They were all good. We ordered a tiramisu and a cappuccino to finish and never disappointed. The price is a little high. It was as expensive as some luxury restaurants I know, but not bad. I do recommend this restaurant as a good choice if visiting The Little Italy.
We used to stop by here when they were a deli and sold pasta and other foods over the counter. Theyve now converted to a restaurant. We ordered an appetizer of ministrone soup, the Eggplant Trio, and the Veal Parmigiano. I was very disappointed that at lunchtime, on a Friday no less, they didnt have any ministrone! So disappointing. The Eggplant was served three ways - parmigiana, rollatini, and al funghetto. They were all very good and the rollatini was the best. The Veal cutlet was large, well seasoned, covered in mozzarella and sauce. It came with a side of pasta. The marinara sauce is very good and fresh. The cheesecake was delicious covered in blueberry sauce and blueberries.
The guy that was standing on the street trying to bring people in was delightful! He did a super good job because I immediately wanted to go inside. After we were seated is when it got a bit dicey. We only saw our waiter a few times as he was not very attentive. We only ordered dessert and it was genuinely delicious! The issue was that they brought us no napkins and we couldnt track anyone down to bring us some. It also took us a long time to get our waiter to bring us our check the food was delicious, but the service couldve been better!
It was delicious but beware with how they charge you.I only ordered Cavatelli Siciliana and was charged $24 when in the menu it says $22 but in their website it says $18.I’m not worried because I’ll get my money back from my credit card company. Smh. And the gratuity and tax aren’t included in that price.I don’t mind paying for what it says on the menu however it’s different story when you charge me for not what it says on the menu. See photos. My friend ordered/paid bolognese and the desert. The greeter and other servers were nice but our server is a little mean.
They were so nice. Went in for coffee and dessert. I got a chocolate cannoli, creme brulee, hot chocolate with almond milk and an espresso. I paid about $26 for all. They were reasonably priced and the creme brulee was a lot bigger than I expected. The waiter kept checking up on us and our water was never empty. They even wrapped my cannoli to go. It had an authentic Italian feel. They do check for vaccination cards. Definitely worth checking out.
I Really Enjoyed Cafe Napoli the last time i visited, Im of Italian descent so Italian food quality really matters to me. That being said, the first time i came here, the waiter was Italian and spoke the language, which adds to the experience of little Italy in my opinion. I have a tendency to be very moody when it comes to what i feel like eating when it comes to Italian food, i was in the mood for Veal pomodoro (tomato) and spaghetti. naturally it was not on the menu, so i asked if he could speak to the chef and see if they could cater to my request. He said, my grandmother is the cook, ill ask her if she can whip it up for you. i was really impressed with that level of family orientation and willingness to please a customer. sure enough he made it happen! it was amazing, definitely my most noteworthy experience in little Italy.Ive been back since for espresso, and gelato, the gelato was not the greatest and in their defense, they said they were learning how to make it in house, may have gotten better since? i ordered a margarita Pizza, and they gave me a cheese pizza, it was delicious but not a margarita.my recommendation, stick to the pasta and main dishes, the espresso and canoli is good as well but the main coarse is the highlight. if you want gelato, go to a gelato shop, you want pizza? go to a pizzeria!buno appitito!
My daughter and I visited Caffe Napoli on June 3 while on vacation in NYC. We absolutely loved the staff and the food was delicious. We dined outdoors and could people-watch while we ate. Pretty sure we saw a celebrity dining there, as well. We had spaghetti aglio olio, which was incredible. We also enjoyed a coconut ripieno and a chocolate fondat. My cocktail was amazing, but I think we enjoyed the complimentary bread as much as the rest. Highly recommended. Everyone was very welcoming. Luis was our waiter and he was very attentive.
Went here on recommendation of someone on YouTube (here be Barr) and it didn’t disappoint! Our server was great, he explained anything we needed to know about the dishes, recommended items we might like, including a great starter. We had the cold sharing starter and it was plenty for 4 people, food came out fast too, water topped up before it was empty, just perfect really. Oh, and the Limoncello was a great end to the meal
I want to send a Big Shout out and Thank You for the excellent service that a friend of mine received when eating at Cafe Napoli. He was taken care of by my nephew Jaden who made his dining experience an amazing event. Service is such an important part to a great meal. I went to a business expo and was approached by John who runs the events at the Convention Center at the shore . He told me what an amazing person my nephew was and what a great time he had at the restaurant. He also said it was his new favorite place to dine. So U know the food was amazing also.So thank you for your great personality and professionalism. You shine 🌟 and it shows. Keep doing what you are doing . You always were a great kid. Now you grown into an amazing young man.Nice to know there are places to dine that capture all the fine details of the dining experience. Keep doing what you are doing. You are Amazing . Highly recommend this restaurant.Great Food /Great People. What more could u ask for. 👍👍👍
My family and I had such a pleasant experience here. Sofiane, our waiter, took excellent care of us while we were here. His customer service, along with the rest of the staff, was outstanding 🙌The food was so deliciously prepared that even full as we were, we had to try the desserts. I highly recommend Caffe Napoli to anyone looking to get taken care of more than properly, and for tastes that will leave you breathless and planning the next visit.
2nd trip to New York; 9 years apart; visited Caffe Napoli both times. Just amazing. I had the lobster ravioli. That was my best decision. My second best decision was abstaining from the bread, so I could fully appreciate my entree. Im from Texas, and I dont know if it was authentic Italian, but I do know it was delicious. This is a must visit any time Im in NYC.
This place truly has amazing Italian food, great drinks and superb service. BE AWARE THOUGH server will try and upswell by offering specials with little description of price, so I felt a little taken advantage of. But food was so good I suppose it was worth it. Plenty of choices in the city but this restaurant will be on the re-Visit list.
Everything was fantastic!!! Absolutely wonderful!!!Right when I went in I felt very welcomed as if I was part of the family. Our waiter paid attention to every detail he went above and beyond. The food was divine, I had not had Italian food this good ever. It is something everyone must experience sometime in their lives.I highly recommend this place, it is simply amazing!!!
It started of a nice evening with the warm weather. However, me and my husband ended up leaving mid through our meal as the police showed up to the restaurant to confront an employee of the business. It was hard to have a peaceful dinner and we felt un easy being around all the chaos. Maybe it was a one time occurrence. But nothing was done to make our evening better.
Another great dinner at a place that did not disappoint. Our server, Louis, was very nice, knowledgeable, and gave great recommendations for our drinks and dessert choices!I came tonight for an impromptu dinner with my friend. She had the eggplant parmesan, and I had the chicken francese. We both LOVED our meal, as well as our cocktails and dessert.Would absolutely recommend.
OMG! What a tasty and amazing place!!100% Italian food!.The spaghetti, al dente and with the perfect temperature. The staff super polite and friendly. The service quick and correct.Prices and portions fair and enough!.Soooo good! And one of my new favorites for sure!!!.Thank you so much for such an awesome meal. 😊👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
On a recent trip to NYC, I brought my partner, visiting for the first time, to Caffe Napoli. We were seated promptly, but that was the End of anything resembling ‘service’. To top it off, they included a 20% tip on our bill!! The tip was removed, but no apology for the abysmal service. If in Little Italy, take it from this lifelong New Yorker, Keep Walking!!!
With the name Napoli you would think they had good brick oven pizza. I ordered a Margarita pizza as a appetizer and it was literally supermarket frozen pizza and they just added basil on top. I couldn’t believe it, why even sell pizza if your going to use supermarket pizza. In addition we ordered Filet mignon with pasta Al la vodka and breaded chicken with pasta and Al la vodka. The sauce was good and the chicken was decent, however the steak tasted weird. Woke up this morning with an upset stomach - I’ve been to Italy before and many Italian restaurants in NYC - this place is not authentic in anyway. Pasta is not home made, pizza is frozen, and flavor is not there. Owner must remove the pizza menu or else he will lose customers with that embarrassing pizza. Won’t be returning again, I enjoy quality ingredients and food. This is not it New Yorkers.
The desserts here were fantastic. There was a mousse dish I forget the exact name of (not just plain mousse, but mousse and something else) that was great. They were also very friendly and flexible. We were looking for a place with affogato, and while it wasnt on their menu, they were happy to make it for us anyway, and it came out very tasty. Would come here all the time if I lived in the city.
Feels like a tourist trap.Went there due to some reviews I had read and I was disappointed.I took the ossobuco upon with gnocchi and it was delicious, so Id recommend to take it.However, the 4 cheese pizza is terrible. Not Napolitan style at all and barely the quality of a frozen $1 pizza. So avoid the pizza. The cannoli we had for dessert was also quite bad.The waiter was nice and understood we didnt have a good time. What made this experience worse was the sneaky service charge pre-included in the bill and if you say nothing, theyll just make you pay for it, regardless of your satisfaction, which is why I think its a tourist trap as most would add a tip on top of the bill as is customary.Overal, Id stay away from this restaurant, for the price their are much better options in the neighbourhood. If you must go, avoid their pizza and keep to the pasta dishes.
You’ll find Caffe Napoli in the heart of NYC’s Little Italy, amid the streets of festive fairy lights. I have been twice and can’t wait to come back again already! The Mare Misto antipasti with fried calamari, potato croquettes and rice balls is a delicious winner, as well as the Pollo Nostra veal cutlet in vodka sauce with penne alla vodka and burrata; and the Filet Mignon Ravioli with a mushroom cream sauce. Everything I have had there is so delicious - you can tell they use the freshest of ingredients, it’s cooked with love, and they have such very generous serves that are so satisfying. And even though we were decidedly full, we definitely made room for dessert as it was just too good to miss - with their mascarpone-topped tiramisù creme brûlée, chocolate covered strawberries and homemade limoncello - the perfect sweet treat to the end of our meal. Their fantastic team know their stuff and made us feel so welcome - so if you’re looking to have an authentic and delicious hearty Italian meal in a warm and inviting atmosphere - then this is a must visit!
Went for lunch. I thought it was weird that the lunch menu was actually more expensive than the actual menu of the same dish. I had the sangria it was really delicious probably my favorite thing. Our waiter seemed in a rush. They’re so focused on just bringing people in than actual focusing on the food. It’s okay, nothing wow about it
This restaurant serves authentic delicious Italian with good atmosphere and viewing in just a corner of Little Italy. You can choose indoor or outdoor table. In good weather you should take good view outside seat. You can have good seafoods menus. Especially today’s specials were good when I visited. Seafood risotto was delicious. Kind staffs give services quickly and they are very friendly. I highly recommend you when you want to enjoy good Italian seafood dishes!!
My wife and I have been coming here for years. The food and the staff is incredible!!!! Last ate there March 2018 and loved the lobster ravioli and the seafood pasta. Special thanks to our amazing waiter Luis as he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in guiding us on food and wine pairing. Thanks Luis keep up the great service. This restaurant is highly recommended.
We came here for Mothers Day. We had a very difficult time choosing an Italian Restaurant in Little Italy. We didnt want to overspend, and also wanted an amazing lunch for my mom and wife. After reading many, many reviews, we settled on Caffe Napoli. Turns ut we made a great choice. The food was awesome, kids loved it, my mom and wife loved it. Sis-in-law loved it. Best of all the place wasnt packed because it was raining heavily on Mothers Day. By the way, the service was was really good. [Dont know why this place has a 3.9 Star.]
Thank you Luis and staff for a fabulous and memorable meal. It was a second trip for part of our group, but my first. We are looking forward to our next visit. Worth the flight from the midwest. We ate family style and shared Ossu Bucco, a seafood pasta, and lobster ravioli. An appetizer sampler and a dessert sampler opened and closed this wonderful experience. The service matched the meal. See you again as soon as we can!
Food was absolutely amazing. My wife ordered Rigatoni alla vodka and I ordered Mushroom Risotto. It was probably the best mushroom risotto I’ve ever had, and I’ve even spent time in Italy. This instantly became one of our favorites. Unfortunately, we’re not from the area, but when we go back, we’ll definitely stop here again!
I was just looking for a pizza slice, and someone from this restaurant was not approving of my choice. He thought it’s better to eat some fish, I was open to the suggestion and really loved it. I am surprised this place ranks less than 4 on Google. I had a delicious lunch, and I feel good.
Nothing special other than the flirty waiters who complement you for everything. Was that for a good tip? We got dinner menu prices for lunch. The menu said there is a gratuity for more than 6. But noticed later that there is a gratuity in the check. The food came quick, which made me think again. Not some place I would recommend. But if you are there and hungry, go for it.
Nice place. Good food! The only issue is that prices for chef specials should be more explicit? I also did not expect the gratuity to already be apart of the order however thats no issue. I got the Clam Vangole with shrimp. I highly suggest it. The staff were really nice.
The food the food here is to die for. I havent had such but been sick Italian cuisine in quite a while and I do a lot of eating out. The service was wonderful the atmosphere is so relaxing and quaint. Its very fengshui. I highly recommend Cafe Napoli to anyone just looking for a nice quaint place to eat.
I’ve been here a few times and they have been very generous in letting us stay for a long time, they’ve never tried to rush us out once. Luis and Jaeden run the place very well and keep checking up on the table and making sure you have everything you need. Enjoyed the appetizers, entree and dessert.
Guys! Please, dont eat pizza here. Its garbage. Go and buy better dollar pizza. I live in New York City for many years and I ate dollar pizza many times. I would say pizza in this place is worse. The cheese on the pizza and the pasta was good and nothing else. The really best thing you can order here is good old, well-known to all of us, Coca Cola.
One of the worst coffees Ive had so far (..and Im a frequent traveler). What is missing at Caffe Napoli? 1. QUALITY: coffee was rancid and cold (an Italian coffee should be served in a hot mug and over a saucer). 2. ITALIANITY: none of the staff who served me spoke a minimum of Italian language and they dont even know how Italians drink coffee 3. ITALIAN GRAMMAR: Its called caffè, not caffe (I would change it, but would rather delete it from the name of the restaurant). 4. HONESTY: if you tell me that the coffee costs 3$, please dont charge 4$.I conclude that Caffe Napoli is an American restaurant, made only for tourists, specifically for those who dont know anything about Italian cuisine. This concept can be extended probably to the entire Little Italy in Manhattan, New York City (but I cannot guarantee on this). What is certain is that the neighborhood should take example from China Town regarding authenticity.Thinking back about the name.. would also change the name Napoli. The Neapolitans would never want the name of their illustrious city, famous for its passion and culinary tradition, to be associated with a restaurant that offers spaghetti with meatballs, carbonara with pancetta (use guanciale, please! Its a restaurant, not a student cooking his lunch) and fettuccine alfredo (with delicious cream.. oh, god).P.s. Sorry for the bad review. Actually, you should blame the staff of a restaurant nearby who recommended me Caffe Napoli for serving the best coffee in Little Italy.
Luis is the worst manager from any restaurants I have communicated with. He doesn’t know what customer service means. We eat out all the time at different places and have met some awesome people over time. I wouldn’t care to write a bad review for no reason. Their food and service both sucked, made us sick.
Happy overall. Great service and wine. Great efforts in regards to the food. OTOH, better quality olive oil and ingredients in general could really kick this place up a notch. Guess thats why I stick to farm-to-table when dining out (and really thats what Italian cuisine is supposed to be about, right?) We came to Caffe Nápoli for a sort of family reunion. Was too full to try desert.
The coffee is good, but not worth the price. I had a espresso and it was decent but not of the quality expected. Their desserts look very tasty but again disappoint when you taste them. Stay away from anything that its not tiramisu or canoli, the rest of their desserts are not great.
The pizza was awful and pre-baked ! The sea food risotto and the sea food linguini had a good taste, but consisted mainly of calamari. It was not worth the money. We thought we would have a great Italian meal, but when we complained, the waiter told us that the pizza was not Italian, but American.
Oh man oh man oh man... the food is just what do the Italians say belicimo? I had the fettuccine alfredo and Im really picky about that. Ive had a lot of bad fettuccine alfredos and Ive had great fettuccine alfredo when I went to Italy. I felt like I was back in Italy. Everything was so fresh! Even the cheese I got on it was fresher than your average cheese. Then I had the chocolate cake. Yummy! It was so moist and the icing was perfectly sweet not overbearing like those icings where you take 2 bites and you scrape it off because its too thick sweet and dry. The prices werent bad either. I seriously recommend going here and Ill probably go again if I want some authentic Italian food.
I dont know why this place isnt 5 stars across the board!!!First of all their bread and oil/herd parm dip is AMAZING and its bottomless so eat up!And then they have a hidden chef secret order that NEEDS to be on the menu!Ask for their Filet Mignon with raviolis and their special mushroom sauceThey also have a really good lobster platter!!!We travel from the west coast here yearly for this place!!!
It was a little pricy, I spent about $11 for a pretty simple salad, but it was perfectly dressed and so yummy! I wasnt even that hungry when we went in but I almost finished my salad, and it wasnt small! My friend didnt see what she wanted on the menu so she asked them about it and they made it! So cool!
We were walking around Chinatown and ended up in little Italy, we were hungry and were stopped by a gentleman who wanted us to come into his restaurant but we noticed across the street that another restaurant was packed inside and outside so we walked down the block and circled back to Caffe Napoli. The waiter was great and had a terrifically authentic Italian accent; he was very knowledgeable and genuine. They had so many specials that were not listed on the menu, I don’t know how he could keep track of them. We ordered an appetizer platter that was great tasting and enough food for a small army. The entree’s were amazing; I’m hoping I can post pictures here for you.The dessert menu was also amazing and the atmosphere and attention were superb. The entire experience was relaxing and super enjoyable; I would highly recommend this restaurant and hope to return if we ever get back from Oklahoma!
Salvatore is the loudest, most friendliest host ever. The food is delicious & the bread is to die for BUT MAKE SURE YOU ASK FOR the bread to be warmed up. My bf and I come to this restaurant every year for our anniversary. Thank you for keeping the quality of the food the same throughout the years; you guys are special to us.ps: this is his gf writing this btw.
First time eating here. Lucky, our waiter, was polite, courteous, and professional. He and the rest of the staff made us feel welcome. Lucky was prompt in serving the food and answering all our questions. I ordered the lasagna and classico salad. The food was very delicious. The sauce on the lasagna was excellent. So was the bread - it was flavorful and airy. The vanilla gelato was very creamy and packed with flavor. The coffee was excellent. Will visit again if in the area.
Went there with the band that sang at the San Gennaro Feast after their set, so it was at about 10pm.Due to the festival, most everything was sold out. One of our table of six wanted pizza and she was instructed to go to a booth as all the pizzas were only being sold there. It was a cheese pizza and it was fresh and delicious as was the beet salad. The fried calamari and sauce were fairly decent. It did take some time to, initially, get silverware and napkins even though it wasnt packed, but was busy. However, the wait staff was quite nice.
We were told all desserts were made in house by several different staff members when asked. Although the desserts looked store bought we trusted what the staff said. Upon further inspection on the menu, in small print on the bottom it says where the distributed desserts are purchased from. We waited 20 minutes for someone to acknowledge us sitting down. While we were eating, one of chefs were staring at us laughing. We felt extremely uncomfortable and will not return.
Travellers, cafe Napoli is an excellent choice for an Italian meal in little Italy. The seating is inside as well as outside in a lovely seating area that is cozy and it is fun to watch the people in the street. The food was delicious. All the pasta is handmade and was cooked perfectly. The rigatoni in vodka sauce was delicious, and so was the lasagna. The piccata and the marsala were both wonderful and served with mushroom risotto that was perfectly cooked. Deserts are homemade too. Sit and relax and enjoy the lovely food. Check it out. We recommend.
The place is ok for unsophisticated eaters. But I would recommend to skip it and find something decent. Service was good but the food... We ordered two different pastas and got something gooey and untasty like it was precooked hours before and just reheated for us. Also portions are small and overpriced.
Loved the food. Started with herbed olive oil and bread. It was so tasty and I thought that if the bread was good, the food must be fabulous. It did not disappoint. Had lobster ravioli with a wonderful sauce and a seafood lobster spaghetti - great. Waiter was so helpful with suggestions and very friendly. Other staff was friendly also. I will be coming back and recommended Cafe Napoli to friends. You will be very happy with this restaurant.
I’ve been going here for almost 20 years. I moved away. So naturally I stopped by and to no surprise. World Class Service like always. The Chef is superb. They must have overheard somehow it was my daughters birthday. Came with a Cannoli and a candle. The whole place made my daughters day!I was blown away at the level of service they provided. To this day, The Best Italian Food I have EVER had!! I literally trusted my host on my main course and boy…… he nailed it. The filet minon and stuffed ravioli was phenomenal.A Must in NYC. Wow.Until Next time…FORGETABOTIT
I Ordered an omelet and my wife ordered pastries. The omelet was bad also for American standard, did not manage to finish it. The pastry was way to sweet. If you are looking for Italian quality pastry, this is not the right place. Its a good spot though and the service is good.
We appreciated the gentleman who came up to us, and asked us if we’d like to eat there for lunch. His hustle was appreciated ! The service and food was fantastic. Highly recommend the lobster ravioli, and the prosciutto, mozzarella and tomato panini. Thank you Caffe Napoli and your staff for a great experience !
Our family had such a delicious experience at Cafe Napoli! Luis was our waiter, and he could not have been more attentive and helpful in ensuring we had such an enjoyable evening. We started with the hot antipasti special and all ordered chicken and veal dishes, which were so tasty and flavorful. Highly, highly recommend the chicken francese and chicken sorrentina!
Me and my daughter came here last night to eat. As CROWDED as it was out there cause of the festival we only waited 25mins to be seated which was great. The food was sooo good omg! The drink I had was good too. The service was great! It wasnt that bad though. The flavor of the food out weighed everything lol. I would definitely come back here!
This place is the best. I got the gnocchi, beet salad, side potatoes, and Caesar salad, everything was amazing. We had some moscato We sat down outside, my wife and I. We had a beautiful dinner and we want to thank and show our appreciation to Louis our host, along with Jaden, and Anthony for having the most at home family and friendly restaurant environment.
One of our must visit restaurants when we go to NYC is Caffe Napoli in Little Italy. Its still Italian owned (many of the restaurants there no longer are) and they make all pasta in house!!! My personal favorite is their cheese ravioli and their sangria is the best Ive ever had!!!Make sure you ask for Luis or Richie as servers too!! They are truly the best!!!
I had a lunch there and I don’t recommend this place. I’ve been few times in Italy and I know how pizza should looks like and taste and pizza from this place well is not good, no tasty. It was too much of cheese, while I took a slice all cheese was falling out with tomatoes sauce :/ I was really disappointed.
This place was so awesome. Real deal delicious italian food. The service was great, they wouldn’t let our glasses go empty (not in an annoying way) and gave us extra bread and olive oil. even slipped in some free cannolis for us before we left! super sweet 12/10 recommend. Will definitely be going back there.
Loved this place and our waiter, Louis! We came in on a super hot day in May and were treated very well! The food was amazing and overall was a great dining experience. I recommend the linguine frutti di mare in an alfredo sauce. We definitely will be going back when in NYC again!
By far THE best Italian restaurant in Little Italy. From our first encounter with the restaurant greeter, to the AMAZING staff inside, this place is not just a restaurant it’s a dining experience. Mere words cannot express or describe just how delicious the food is. From their homemade, fresh sangrias to the bread, appetizers, entrees and desserts, you will not be disappointed. Our family of six was immediately paired with a personal waiter (Luis) and his staff. We wanted for NOTHING! Luis was attentive to every detail. Our glasses were NEVER empty and our bread baskets stayed full with delicious hot HOMEMADE bread. Luis took the time to detail the dishes on the menu and his suggestions were ON POINT! The dishes are truly family sized and the prices are fair. We’ve been to other restaurants here in Little Italy, and although they too were good, THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! I had the shrimp scampi, which was soooooo delicious. When the plate arrived I immediately thought to myself (great! I can take some home with me) sadly, that didn’t happen. The dish was so good, I couldn’t stop eating. Although I don’t eat calamari, those at the table who did indulge said it was fresh and cooked to perfection! When you’re looking for a place to dine with family and friends and not break the bank, Caffe Napoli IS THE PLACE!On a side note; their restroom WAS CLEAN!!!!!! Too often restaurants forget that the restroom is just as important as the dining area. But nit here. Their restroom was BRIGHT, clean and it smelled good. Yes, I have OCD -which comes in handy at times. With Luis at the helm, you definitely will NOT be disappointed. Bon appétit!
This place is so wonderful!! The food is amazing, the service is wonderful and they have the best authentic Italian cannoli ever!! I stop here every time Im in New York and Ive even thought about flying up just to get some cannolis and bring them home. Seriously, you if youre thinking about stopping in dont hesitate! You wont regret it 😊
Outdoor seating was nice. I wasnt overly impressed with the number menu options. They started us off with sliced sour dough bread which was kinda dry and not warmed up. I had lobster ravioli which was good but the portion was really small. My date had the chicken parm which she enjoyed and we shared calamari which tasted very fresh. Server was nice but a little.
THIS IS THE ITALIAN LUNCH/DINNER PLACE TO GO TO IF YOU’RE IN NEW YORK. Amazing food and even better service, great portions, tasty flavors, and a good variety all fairly priced! You will be full and satisfied dining here. Authentic Italian food, and make sure you save room for dessert because their creme brûlée is amazing
The BEST from the food quality and taste to location and service this was the best I had carbonara and it was the best I’ve ever had I’m not even exaggerating. The seasoned oil they brought out for the bread was amazing and they have a house wine made for them and it was delicious. I recommend this place to anyone visiting New York City and wanting so eat some authentic Italian food.

2022-05-02The food was delicious! I had such a great time and the servers were pretty nice. I do have to say that so some, the prices may be a bit too much. However, I think they are great for the food quality and flavor.

2022-02-21Great for classic Italian food. Really loved the chicken parm and that you have the option to choose the pasta of your choice for the side, with a slight fee of course. They do a good alla vodka sauce. The service was good- very attentive.

2022-01-25Man!!!! Let me tell you about the customer service! After an hour of walking around in the cold in Little Italy/China Town, my friends and I decided to eat at Caffe Napoli. .Louis welcomed us with open arms minutes before the restaurant closed! We were so happy that he did!! He recommended multiple options and we decided one a few of them. He was so helpful and concerned about our experience and making sure we were happy. We all loved our dishes and were thankful that he helped us make great dinner decisions at the last minute. I would recommend this place to EVERYONE! Please go and you will not be disappointed.Must try the food and drinks! Dessert was delicious also! Thank you to the WHOLE team for making my birthday memorable 💗

2022-07-04If you like Italian cuisine, this is your heaven. You cannot get more Italian than this in NYC. From wine, complimentary baked bread with olive oil, lobster, pasta, to the delicacy of deserts and finally the kick of espresso - everything was impeccable.
