I’ve been trying to reach out to UES California Closets for about two years now and I never get a response.Goldie is the worst designer she told me you are 5’2 she will tell you that you don’t need closet space for long things. I’ve been living with closets built for an elf.They need to make up for this poor design and come fix it but never respond to emails and haven’t for the past two years.Spend a little more money some place else you will get better service and quality.
Allegra was amazing!She did was able to illustrate to us how to build our closet , she was reliable and helped us be cost effective as well and worked with our budget.

2020-12-02I used California Closets to help me design and then build out an entry closet and master bedroom closet in my new apartment. They were very helpful and answered all of my questions and were patient with me when I was indecisive in the designing process. When it came time for installation, the installers were on time and did an incredibly quick job! I never thought it was possible to have strong feelings about a closet but I absolutely LOVE my two closets (especially my bedroom one)! Pricing was fair (not cheap but not a fortune either; and less than other quotes I got from custom designers) and very transparent. I would definitely recommend CC to others!

2022-04-09California Closets did a great job redesigning my closets for maximum use of the space for storage. Jenifer Zuckerman and the team were fantastic. I had to wait a few months for the installation, but it was worth it!

2020-11-25We had such a positive experience with California Closets for our first project - closets and nightstands in our bedroom - that naturally we chose them when we decided to build out bookshelves/cabinets in our dining area. Our consultant for both projects, Stacy, was so pleasant, precise, and professional that we always felt we were in good hands. Without undergoing major renovations, it was the best way to upgrade our apartment. It provided us with a TON more storage, and visually it made a major impact on our space. The process was so straightforward and stress free, and a great value for the money. We continue to be delighted by the finished product, and we are so glad we decided to give California Closets a try!

2020-12-02I was renovating a new apartment in NYC and called several companies to give me quotes. California Closets had the best ideas and seemed to be the most professional. From the start, I was very happy with their service. Keith Johnson was my designer and was friendly and professional. Additionally, he listened carefully to what I needed for the closets and had creative solutions for everything. I would HIGHLY recommend California Closets and I wouldnt hesitate to use them again!

2020-12-02What started as a virtual appointment due to the Pandemic, an empty mudroom came to life thanks to our designer; Megan Garcia. Coming from another state and needing tremendous organizational space, the room was configured so that every inch was utilized maximally. An earlier installation became available by a month and that was a bonus. The quality and workmanship is outstanding and I am so thankful. I would highly recommend!

2020-12-02California Closets was a terrific business to work with - Stacey was very professional and helpful. She listened to my ideas and created a desk unit in our childrens bedroom that is exactly what we hoped it could be! The price was reasonable and the result was fantastic.

2021-01-07Mew large walk in closet.Beautifully done work. Great selection of wood and other surfaced. Doors and roll out shelves for shoes. They can customize what ever your dream closet is and can add accessories, belt racks, hanging rods for daily outfits.Loved the fact they could even put a custom desk and file cabinet in our big walk in. Installers were professional, very detailed in their work and cleaned up afterwards. Sales Rep was knowledgeable and very helpful with ideas.

2020-11-23We used California Closets to re-do the closets (4) in our brownstone. The closets were in their original condition so the designer, Alexis, had a blank slate to work with. We knew that we had wasted space that we couldnt afford, so she helped us maximize the utility of each closet based on their main uses. Alexis listened to us explain our storage dilemmas and provided solutions without being pushy. The end result was exactly what we were looking for and we actually now have room to spare!

2020-11-25California Closets consistently provide a well-known, quality product for organizing closets, especially small spaces. Our designer was especially responsive to our needs/constraints and quickly put together a plan that was both functional and beautiful, with extra touches like strategic mirrors and a built-in safe.

2020-12-02I am an interior designer in NYC and have worked with California Closets for years (specifically Meagan Fox!!) They are truly so flexible and willing to help you design the best space possible to suit your needs. They have a broad range of materials at different price points which means they can accommodate EVERYONE. I have worked with some of the other closet companies in the city (not by choice!), and the material quality and installation process is never anywhere NEAR that of California Closets. You can literally leave the installers in the space and they are in and out and you would never know they were there. No damage. No dust. It’s incredible. We all know that space is very limited in New York City and their designers are so clever and skilled when it comes to maximizing space (another shout out to Meagan Fox!). Meagan has never once said “that won’t work”... she always finds a clever way to meet my clients needs. As a designer I am always inclined to do a quick drawing in advance but when I work with Meagan, I’ve realized it’s a waste of time because she comes in and can draw the best possible closet for my client within 10 minutes just by looking at the space, my clients clothes, bags, shoes... It’s amazing to watch her work!!! This is their specialty. They are the experts! Let them help you find the best solutions - because I can guarantee you whatever they design is going to be 10x better than what you might have envisioned initially. As a designer that saves me time. For the consumer, this is truly game changing because many people wouldn’t know where to start when designing a functional closet. That’s what Cal Closets does best - they just “make it happen” and your involvement is non-existent after the first 15 minutes of expressing your needs and budget. I personally don’t / won’t work with any other closer company in the city - period. Do yourself a 2020 favor and get that tricked out closet you have always wanted - you’ll be happy looking at it every day!
