I was there today. Visited my friends mother in section 1. What a shame. It looks like a Potters Field. You can’t find the person you are looking for. No headstones. No markers to show you where to find a loved one. This has to change!!!!!

Call me dramatic. Call me emotional. But if you have visited this place then you know Im right. The most beautiful cemetary Ive ever seen. As I drove onto the grounds I felt a sense of honor. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. When I say beautiful, thats an understatement. Maybe breathtaking is the word. I was floored. As you drive on to the grounds the signs let you know that you are in a sacred place. Each headstone is perfectly placed. As a Soldier, I have never felt so honored to walk among these servicemembers. I have tears in my eyes just writing this🥺😭The grounds feature garden like settings with seating areas as though there is no need to rush off. The plots are easy to find as they are sectioned off and clearly labeled. Call me crazy but I felt so much respect and love. So much pride and a great deal of joy. There are multiple chapels and staging areas on the grounds so that each family has a personal experience during their time of mourning. Furthermore, each of those chapels has its own parking lot. When I went to pay my respects to the one I loved, I left with a sense of peace knowing that he got to choose his resting place. Since he was a man of great dignity, I wasnt surprised that he chose this cemetary.Even in the middle of a pandemic, every inch of that cemetary was manicured to absolute perfection. The plots that were recently dug were nice and neat as well. Such a beautiful place to make the transition. I promise.. it was worth every mile I drove to get there. Impressive doesnt even describe it.May all of these great souls rest peacefully. May the cares of this world be at your back and may trouble find you no more.❤ Sleep in peace. You are gone. Never forgotten.

I have never felt a more peaceful and warm cemetery. They truly honor the men and women who serve. You would think the place is cold being a cemetery. No its welcoming. I bring a blanket and spend hours with my dad. I look around and feel at peace. The place is gorgeous. And there is life everywhere you look. Right up to the wildlife that live amount our family members. I like to think they are the guardians of our love ones.

My mother is buried here along with a plot for my father. Great clean and very peaceful National Cemetery. If your lucky you will even see local wildlife such as many deer and wild Turkeys.

Veterans Day ceremony was a beautiful experience. The speeches were all so very gracious. All Americans should thank all the veterans that have survived and died for our country. If it wasnt for our veterans are freedoms would not be in existence. Dont take America for granted. Im glad to be an American. If you see a veteran on your way outside and he is down and out give him a hand like he gave his hand for you. Thank you to all our veterans.

The areas are clearly marked and the maps are very helpful even if you normally have difficulty reading one. Each area is labeled with an alphabet or number or both and easy to find the area where your love one is buried. There is so much respect shown toward these veteransthat you just want to cry for joy not sorrow.

Aside from the authorities not allowing me the proper time to grief. In order lay my father plot down with honor stating In Loving Memory ETC.... They took it upon themselves and laid it down with no regards to the fact that he has kids/wife and we would have like to state it on his plot.Unfortunately, this was our first time lost of someone this dear, and for my mother/myself this was our best-friend besides the obvious roles he plays. So you can imagine how devastated we were among-st the fact that this was a surprise to us and right before the new year.We couldnt afford the change it cost to make the proper change and the lady seem to be very cold while speaking to her. Aside from that experience, I will give them 4 stars simple due to the clean environment. The honor of the up-kept grounds and the resting bodies go down in a historic way. The honor given from the soldiers is beautiful. I simple would have given it 5-stars if that wasnt my hang up on the plot. I mention it so, you will not make the same mistake that I did.....I miss my DAD/Best-Friend so very much but he is in the best place to rest for eternity. GOD BLESS AMERICA! One day, I will be able to afford to change the plot soon.Thank you.Daniela Couvertier

It is very peaceful and the surrounding is beautiful. The cemetery is too far to visit my loved one from Queens, however, it definitely fits where my fiancee would have loved to be his final resting place. 😢 ❤🌷
