What a great store! I took my dad here today and he was checking out all of the navy stuff and showing me what he used to wear and what they used to use and sleep on. It was a very interesting trip. They have a bunch of things on sale too. 50 percent off winter items. Everything green in the store is on sale as well. Stop in and check it out.
If u r a history buff or just curious or have a child who loves history especially the military this is the place to shop u can buy tons of military things from all branches used and new plus they have things for military familes or have loved ones in security police etc. They have cute buttons or shirts with your favorite branch or even just to support our protectors of our country 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
This place had a sign out front that said 2 T shirts for 5 dollars, thats why I went in. No such thing. An employee brought me an old wore out T shirt that was really in bad shape with a stretched out collar offering it to me for 5 dollars. Umm no thanks I said. They are so absolutely overpriced, everything. Even if they cut their price by 50% itd still be too high for me. I looked at a t-shirt (used) in okay condition that had security written on it... $25... I dont thought it was a joke. But nope because I asked and was proudly told the used Tshirt cost $25 bucks.. lol. I was one of 3 customers that walked in and walked out with nothing. Generously on my way out I was handed a business card and a patch of some sort. So thanks for the patch. But if you are reading this, youre trying to sell old used worn clothes for the price youd pay at Aeropostale. I just went to Walmart and bought 3 brand new T-shirts for 12 dollars instead. Have a nice day.
Very glad we decided to stop in! Very clean, well organized shop. They have tons of stuff from all branches and eras. Prices are very reasonable, staff is very polite and helpful. Ive been to several other surplus stores around and was just dissapointed by a lack of inventory, or just reproduced new garbage. This store not only has a variety of items, they seem to have a large stock of them. Many other places had just the ones you see. If there is a specific item you have been searching for, I would highly recommend trying this place! I will definitely take my son back to this store again.
Lots of new and surplus goods, including fatigues, boots, bags, hats, and more. Prices were super reasonable, plus theyre running a 25% off everything sale currently. Not a ton of European camo, but definitely a fair amount of the solid Italian and German. Some rain pattern and other Eastern European solids. Good selection of warm weather gear already out as well! If you dont see what youre looking for, ask; apparently they have a warehouse full of other stuff they cant display... Overall though good spot and Ill be heading back next time Im looking for something!
Employees are really great, merchandise is generally great quality, but the owner has such a lack of business courtesy, and basic listening skills, and respect, it makes you want to pull your hair out. In my last attempt to spend money on movie props I was stiffed in a meeting the owner set up- the day before; then he attempted to bilk me for beat up shoes that were in his store for $25. He wanted $48. He didnt respond on my requests for costs for 8 days. Again the employees make up for this, but I wont deal with the owner again.
It is always a fun friendly and family oriented place to go shopping witch is matched by great prices, History for the kids with military uniforms new and old and military equipment from knives to full cases or food mres witch is a plus during the covid-19 crisis for back up food storage you know will be their no matter what.
I saw a 3 piece messkit on their site after doing a Google search for rectangular messkits. I had never heard of CAMOlots, so checked them out online and noticed mixed reviews. I decided to call the NY store and see what their customer service was like. I talked with Beatrix who was very friendly and helpful. She explained that the listing is incorrect and its only a 2-piece messkit. Thats my only complaint, if they know the listing is incorrect, it should be updated.Beyond that, everything was good. The condition was used good but Id say it is very good condition. Also, shipping was free and prompt. I received an email notification when it shipped and one to confirm it was delivered. Price was good and they were running a promotion for 19% off everything. I will shop here again!
I recently went to the Army Navy Outlet to get some old military bags to make into bicycle panniers. I told the staff member what I wanted to do and she took me to the area of the store with the old bags. The store is very big, with lots of options between new and old items. The staff is friendly, helpful and well informed. If you are looking for something specific, they probably have it. Also, a fun place to just look at stuff.
HUGE warehouse full of stuff....neat to browse through with a few gems to be found. We bought a few grenades as gifts. Husband asked if we could get a deal at checkout, and the nice employee gave us about 20% off everything! Ask for a deal if the prices are too high for you, and you might be surprised as to how theyre willing to work with you!
Had to change my credit card number after charges for I tunes were made. This has happened to multiple other customers as well. Dont give them your credit card information!Follow up to company response. Im glad you admitted it occured in the past. I went thru hell getting the rip off charges removed from my credit card as a result from making a purchase. If you had made corrective actions then good for you. Once bitten..twice shy.
I was in the store the other day while I was in Buffalo and overall they had a great selection of surplus but the store had a weird smell to it. Not the usual surplus musk but a weird off putting stink and it seemed to come from the Unicorn statue at the shop. Other than that it was a good store
Some big guy stood the counter for the whole time while i repeatedly asked for help, was not very helpful or respectful as he also made some racist comments under his breath. When i asked for help he grabbed a kid away from another customer to come who was more than willing to help me and when i went to pay the prices did not match the tags and the big guy kept insisting that i was wrong about the prices. Will not be returning.
Worst company ever! I ordered a shirt for my dad for Christmas! I ordered it 12/18/13! I knew it was close to Christmas and it may not be here in time. However, it is now January 10th 2014 and the shirt hasnt even shipped yet. I got an email saying the item would ship in a week I received that email on 12/20/13. Ive emailed them twice after and no response. I called and no one was there to talk. This service is ridiculous! I WILL NEVER order here again! Waste of time!
This was not my first visit to this store. I have been there a couple of times. Each time I was assisted by a very nice associate. Last night I was assisted by a very nice, helpful, friendly young man. My task was to find a t-shirt that a 13 year old (I have never met) a mans xl t shirt with either Police Logo or Military logo. This as I explained to the young man was for a needy child whom was identified at my Yoga Studio as a child in need at Christmas. They ask the children what they would most like and then it is placed on a tree at the studio. Yoga students are then asked to pick at least one child and purchase whatever is on their list. It is often a real eye opener as to the needs of children in our community. Often these want lists are more like needs list. Imagine asking your 10, 11, or 12 year old what they would like for Christmas? Do you think they would respond with underwear, undershirts, sox, toothpaste? That is what many of this children put on their want list. When I explained this to an employee (who seemed to be the manager) there and asked if I purchased one of the TSHIRTS for this boy (16.95) would the store be willing to donate the other. Rather quickly I was turned down and told The owner does not allow it. So despite my wanting to show the young man that was so helpful and even empathetic, I decided I wasnt going to purchase anything from a store that didnt have a real sense of Community. I will not be returning to this store and happy to share my experience with others. Merry Christmas….
While they do have a lot of the general issue gear a lot of the uniforms are cheap off brand knockoffs. A lot of it is used and overpriced. Im a veteran so I know how to get all of this cheaply and was basically going here to see if they had the latest PT uniform and they only had multicam and ACU uniforms. Additionally nothing sold was AR 670-1 compliant.
I think the 1st lady leaving a comment ms butler must be smoking crack! showing up to a store and asking for free suff is crazy just buy the shirt yourself. this store rocks! lots of great militaria jam packed in here and the staff is more then helpful and respectful! would do biz w them anytime! down w the haters
I called Uncle Sams earlier this week to arrange to bring some stuff in to sell. Whomever I spoke to not only told me to bring in all of my stuff in, but they even told me the day and time to come, and told me to call and confirm ahead of time. So I called this afternoon and they told me to come on in. I get there and they tell me that theyre in a buying freeze. Way to waste my time and gas. Thats just no way to do business. Awful customer service!
If you have visited our store in the Larkin building thank you for the support and dedication over the years. We will re open again after we update. We will be around for a second tour of duty. For now just support us by visiting our new store 1503 Seneca street ( corner of Seneca and Bailey )Camolots presentUncle Sams Army Navy Outlet “we combat prices “
You know its kind of sad cause its moldy clothing clothing surplus of a variety of things but the only thing Id buy out of the place is Not a damn thing its seriously all false advertisement not all American merchandise an they are a false advertisement period cause they are in fact Canadians not Americans.

2021-11-02Even though I work here, I give ourselves 4 out of 5 stars. We are not done yet, we are not 5 out of 5, we need to get better on our product selection, sizes, grades, prices and display. We need to strengthen our Team and get better with communication with our loyal customers. We have so much to share and after 40+ years in the Army Surplus business, it feels like we are just starting out. Stay tuned, we will earn our 5 stars and for that we will not only thank our loyal customers but our team !!!! Thank you for the years of support !!!

2022-06-29Hidden gem in the heart of Buffalo! I love military surplus stores. Glam-grungers expecting everything to smell like flowers should stick with department stores and their overpriced made-in-China military replicas. This stuff is the real deal, and much of it likely has been stored for decades, although largely unused. So you possibly may have to use a little elbow grease to get an item smelling nice or spend an extra buck or two to get that cool find dry-cleaned to show it a bit of TLC. I visited this store long before COVID hit and found this gorgeous Danish jacket and Dutch soccer hat (made in Great Britain!), both of which were inexpensive, extremely well-made and neutral-smelling.

2022-03-06Lots of neat stuff, fair prices. Friendly service. I left with less than I wanted to, but only bc Im from hours away and hadnt planned this as an expenditure. Next time I visit the area Ill be sure to add this stop, with some extra scratch. Worth the visit!

2022-06-24When I went to camolots today I received the best customer service I have received in a long time, I would come back here just because the employees are so nice but also because everything is extremely reasonably priced for what youre getting.

2021-09-24Always loved this store but the new location is so so. I miss the more sprawling warehouse location and they seemed to have a wider stock back then of older issue equipment. Still the best way locally to replace old dxd equipment and clothes you use after discharge

2017-12-28Very cool. Had awesome vintage items along with new stuff. Got an awesome hemp bag half off that is probably already 50 years old.
