First time there and was more than pleasantly surprised. I thought I was walking into a typical pub for a burger, and walked out feeling I had a gourmet meal. Steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly, Apps were fresh and delicious, my companions seafood was very very tasty. And the Atmosphere and staff were really warm and friendly. This place will be my regular getaway. Sorry I never tried it sooner.
The bartender, Nikki, was extremely rude to us upon arrival for the second time in a row. On our way to the restaurant this time around, we actually contemplated not going because of our poor experience the first time. Sure enough, she was rude as soon as we walked in. We live in the area and want to love Campagne House because it does have a nice aesthetic, but the awful customer service has left a poor taste in our mouth. The food is nothing to write home about and that, paired with the service, is definitely not worth your time. Spend your money elsewhere.
On a very special occasion, my fiancé and I decided to go to The Champagne House because the food rarely disappoints.Upon arrival we were asked if we had reservations to which we replied no. The gentleman who greeted us stated that we would have to sit inside instead of the patio area because those are by reservation only. We happily agreed, even though the entire restaurant was empty and there were many open tables outside. Our table was fairly close to the hostess stand and as other parties came in they were all escorted outside without being asked if they had a reservation. My fiance and I didn’t think much of it until the FIFTH party came in and the same person that greeted us asked if they had a reservation, they replied “no” and his follow up question was “would you like to sit inside or outside?”... At this point, I was curious to understand why. When our food was brought to the table (45 minutes after ordering) I asked “When we came in, did you mention outside tables being by reservation only?” He said “yes, those tables were reserved for those parties.” I responded with “those available tables were given to walk-ins” and asked as to why we weren’t offered outside seating. He snarkly replied “I am not going to argue with you guys” as he walked away. Now, perhaps it could have been overlooked but the principle of the matter is that this situation was handled inappropriately. I am not one to complain. In fact, my fiance was surprised because he knows I am a very meek person but wrong is wrong.I am very disappointed.
Food was amazing and really large portion wise which makes it an amazing value for pricetag. The bar is nicely set up and know how to make an actual drink. The only downside is that its kinda tight depending on the party size. If you get booth its not bad but sitting in the dining area feels kinda cramped and on top of other guests.
I celebrated my PhD last night in this excellent restaurant. happy to tell that we enjoyed a cool evening and the place was certainly one of the reasons for that happy event. The stuff collaborated in a graceful manner, the cuisine was extremely good and my guests were very pleased. We shall no dout visit again for more events. thanks very much.
Have been here several times and my husband and I have always enjoyed it. The Colossal Pretzel is a great appetizer to share. Absolutely love the Bourbon Street Steak. Best steak Ive ever gotten and Ive got several friends who agree. Weve never had any problems with the staff, the food, or wait times. We will definitely be back again.
Wow! Havent been here since the days of Who-ville and what a nice suprise! Atmosphere greatly improved, service was great, drinks great.. live music Chelsea was amazing! Will definitely be back and will try the food. The tacos looked delicious and the truffle fries smelt ridiculously good. Dining room was packed so Im guessing everything is great.Great day glad we made the last minute stop in!
Last night was my 2nd visit and just reading the menu, I wanted to try everything! There were so many wonderfully descriptive dishes to choose from, that I couldnt make up my mind - but I dont think you can make a bad choice here. Started with the clam pot with chorizo - sauce was so good, we asked for more bread for dipping! Had the soft shell crab special that was amazing and needs to be on the regular menu! Upscale food and great drinks at affordable prices, as well as wonderful service with a smile. Will definitely be back!
Our go to place for good food and usually a good singer and band. My wife had the salmon and I had the blackened Mahi with white beans, spinach, and a mango jalapeño salsa. Everything was cooked perfect. We also had their house salad with mandarin oranges and candied pecans and I ordered a truffle fries because they are addicting. Highly recommend
I wish I could share a photo of their Cavatelli and Meatballs but I inhaled it too quickly! Delicious!,Campagne House is a paragon of the Bethpage community. Deep roots (think Charles Campagne School - the owner of Campagne House is a direct descendant of Charles Campagne) reflecting the values of the Bethpage community.A mainstay restaurant- not to be missed when evaluating quality restaurants on Long Island.
Really cute upscale bar in Bethpage. Great beer selections with few solid everyday beer and few seasonal beers from many different breweries. the bartenders are friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and prompt with service. I never had to go out of my way for their attention even though it was crowded. The food was good but Ive only eaten there once so I cant say but the drinks are great, cocktails are well made and the house wines, both red and white, are good quality.the live music is great plus too. the place is awesome to sit down after a long day and have a bit of chat over drinks.
Wow, big difference since it was Who-Ville. Great atmosphere, large wrap around bar, outside deck (they just renewed with composite), ship-lap decor with a fireplace. Food is top tier for the area, expect to pay 14 bucks for a burger. But it is a dang good burger. Mixed drinks are good too. Plenty of places to park. Saturday nights can get loud with the live band. Theres always something going on. They also offer a Sunday brunch. This place is certainly a step up from the sports bar across the street.
Our utility responded to Long Island to help restore power. We had been going all day and were very hungry, there was some confusion with our host company as to where our dinner location was. We were basically on our own to find dinner and accommodations. After doing a quick search of the area we found Campagne House was close to our location and had an appropriate menu for the hungry guys that we were. We called ahead to find out when their kitchen closed for dinner and they responded that the kitchen would stop serving “dinner” at 10pm, it was 9:45. (Otherwise the menu would be just bar food) We were at least 5-10 minutes away plus parking our trucks... I explained who we were, why we were in town in hopes that they would sympathize and feed a bunch of “Hangry” guys.... Our request was quickly relayed to the chef who agreed to keep things open for an extra 10 minutes! Wow! When we finally showed up at 10:20 (a vehicle fix was needed) we fully expected to be told that the chef had gone home and it was bar food for us! Except, that was not the case at all, we were greeted with smiles, kind words, and thank you for coming to help. They were ready for us and fully prepared to feed us a hearty dinner! Another WOW! I want to point out that at no point during our meal were we rushed or made to feel that we inconvenienced them in any way. I personally had one of the best meals that I have had in a long time, and this sentiment was echoed around the table. We had a table visit from the chef and was a perfect opportunity to give the compliments he deserved. Most of us had been going from 4-5 am that morning and we did not stop until after 1:30 am. So thank you Campagne House for the much needed meal that carried us through to the end of our day. Five stars in our book, from the guys at Green Mountain Power, VT
I have been here for both brunch and dinner. The brunch food is solid, pretty much on par with any standard brunch. Also has good brunch drink deals . Nice outdoor seating. For dinner the food is decent and good sized portions. Unfortunately the dinner menu is pretty pricey.
This is NOT Who Ville. New owners, new chef, new Waite staff. Comfortable atmosphere. Music, but it doesnt blow you out of your chair. Food is very very good. Wife had a seafood risotto and I had their duck dish. Well plated and plenty of food. Salads are well done and they dont skimp. Staff service is on top of things without being in your face. Management makes rounds making sure all is well. Overall a very pleasant dining experience. We shall return soon. MNIII
Went here to see my friend Sand bar Kenny play on thanksgiving eve, as always he was great. The meal I had which was two fish tacos and mignon steak with crabmeat on top was unexpectedly amazing. The atmosphere is lively, good place to enjoy the night out with excellent food, live music, highly recommend checking it out, you wont be disappointed.
The food was ok. The waitstaff was attentive. The owner? So RUDE!! We had a party of 16 adults for a birthday dinner and the owner kept trying to rush us out the door because he said we were sitting where the band sets up and we could not be there after 10pm. Can you imagine?? Now a party of this size - the bill was very large if you count in apps and drinks and dinner and the owner just stood there shaking his head and telling us we had to be out on time. The reservation was made months ago and I promise you no one told us we had to be out by a certain time. My sister said it best - we were treated better when this place was a dive bar! So if you like ok overpriced food and can be out of the dining room by 10 - oh and if you want an angry owner starring at you through desert - then go to Campaign House. Me and my friends will be back down the block at Sweeneys where they are professional, have good reasonable food and the owner isnt a jerk.
The staff was rude, stomping feet, yelling the food orders in our faces, walking away. Went for a birthday with 20+ people waitress told us she probably couldn’t get dessert. Than didn’t sing. Was unapologetic. Food was mediocre at best. Definitely will never return. Servers name was Mitch.
This was my 4th time here. The menu is fabulous. So many choices that you don’t normally see at a LongIsland restaurant. I had the broccoli rabe and sausage pasta dish. My girlfriend had a soft shell crab dish. The plates were delicious. Drinks, atmosphere, Live music, and great service. A diamond on L.I. Great not having to go to Manhattan to enjoy great food. We had an amazing time. Can’t wait to go again so we can try other items on the menu we were craving.
Love this place. Been here twice.Food is excellent and service has been very good. The most recent time we had the mussel pot in white wine and garlic sauce and I had the Osso Bucco special.. yes yes and yes. I could have just filled up with bread dipping it into the white wine sauce it was that good. The Osso bucco was delicious as well. Def check this place out you will not be sorry.
This was our first visit. Nice transformation from Whoville. The decor was nice, the wait staff was great. The outside courtyard area is very nice. When we visited, the sun was out but it had rained about an hour earlier. There were 2 groups sitting outside. I asked the hostess if the chairs were wet and she replied, yes, a little. The correct answer shouldve been, yes, but we can dry them for you. I ordered the grass fed beef burger, medium. It arrived well done. The taste was good but it was over cooked and a little dry. The fries and salad were good. My wife had the pasta with sausage and broccoli rabe. Not sure if they used fresh pasta, but the pasta was way over cooked. Again, the taste was good. I had 2 local craft beers, which were good. One thing they need to stop is the smoking in the courtyard dining area. Somsone from the bar walked out into the courtyard with his bottle of miller lite and lit up. It bothered us and it bothered the other people that were sitting there eating. It wouldve been just as easy for him to go out on the side street to smoke. After all, like one of the other reviewers stated, This aint Whoville. Were going to give them another try. As with any new restaurant, they need to get the kinks out. Next time, Ill try the steak. It looked pretty good. GOOD LUCK CAMPAGNE HOUSE!
Again great Went with family again to this gem, had the blossom bourbon, catfish special with the shrimp, waitress changed the spice on the shrimp, had the large pretzel first and the board of cheese etc. Again we all had a great meal, even brought our own birthday cake for my grandson , loved it

2022-02-26Customer service was wonderful and atmosphere was nice. I got very sick from the food though. Looking back I don’t believe the chicken was cooked thoroughly and prosciutto was super hard. I couldn’t cut through my meal with a steak knife. I’m paying for it now as I’m very sick.

2020-10-04I went here with my family after a long day of moving and we were extremely satisfied with our experience. The atmosphere is cozy - we sat inside - but the outdoor dining patio/courtyard looked very elegant and inviting aswell. The satay sampler was amazing and a great value for the price. We also had the nachos which were some of the best Ive ever had.The oktoberfest specials menu was intriguing and the spicy margaritas was awesome. My brother had the BBQ platter which was delicious. Other favorites were the duck and the cesear salad. Our server was pleasant and we will certainly be returning.

2019-03-28The Campagne House is a really nice rustic-feeling bar with lots of space, including a large front bar room with some small tables and an even bigger seating area toward the back. I was there during the day and it seemed like a great spot to grab a drink while the sun is still shining. They have some decent beers on tap including some local brews, and the food was pretty good. I ordered the waffle burger hoping theyd figured out some magical way to make it work where Id failed so many times... but no such luck. A little messy, mushy, and overall not bad but not great. Dont let that discourage you. My buddy got the blackened shrimp wrap and refused to talk for 15 minutes while he experienced the ecstacy.
