Store owners were super rude. clearly they have an exstensive collection of great quality stuff but when i referred to their website for products in the store they copped me an attitude and claimed things online arent in the store. i was helped by a bottom tier clerk that was not just nice but proactive in handling my questions and service. id give him five stars. the rest of the people are trash.

I really like this place. The prices are the best that I found. The staff is great. I feel that they really want to help and give you the best price and service. I needed a laser projector to be able to show a video that I made with iMovie for a memorial service. I using an HDMI adapter, I could connect to my computer to the Epson projector. I think it was an Epson 9210. I used my own Bluetooth speaker for the sound. And we actually used a great big white king size sheet for the screen. (We were very low budget, as you can see.) All in all, my rental for one day cost $125. It made a really magnificent contribution to the memorial event. Very grateful to Canal Sound and Light for helping me to figure out the best way to go for my budget.

Call to see if they had a flight case in stock when they answered they were very rude and yelling at me for no reason I just called to see if they had a item in stock

Jeff and the guys over at Canal Sound are always helpful and have the best prices. I always choose them over any big box competitors for my DJ equipment, speakers, amps, and lighting needs. They also have a great selection of rentals including items like staging, specific lighting and other items that others do not rent (like the giant disco ball we rented. lol).Thanks again Canal Sound for being a reliable source! Knowledge of a product is key to me. The crew at Canal are very well versed in everything they sell. Whether it be club lighting, DJ controllers, install PA or live sound support; I am never surprised when I get a detailed answer to my questions. Not only do they sell the products they carry, but they are also live event production specialists with a working knowledge of the gear. They know exactly what works for your application. My company, Good Guy productions, used to buy certain gear from certain places, not any more. I have found my trusted company with whom I do all my business.

Really nice staff super knowledgeable and a real pleasure to meet the owner whos been in business for 40 plus years.not only did they have all the equipment I needed but they gave me invaluable professional advice. I definitely must go too if you need anything within the DJ equipment realm
