What a great addition to a vast park suitable for all sorts of occasions. This skate area is has ramps and obstacles aligning a very wide circle creating sort of a course effect where skaters can put together some serious lines hitting various quarter pipes, grind/ slide rails, stairs and other obstacles along the way through the tree lined freshly paved route. Definitely a bit more thought out than your typical skate park out here which is more like random ramps slapped into areas in parks.
This is a fun skate plaza. You have a little tranny action going with the slight ramps. The only problem is if you dont live in the area its a trip to get to by public transportation. Though if youre a skater, I recommend skating here at least once to see if the travel is work going back.
It is beautifull , I watches the young youths how they used their energy into something positive and also there are so much activities there at canarsie park for the youths and adults for example there more than one baseball field, basketball field the bicycle trail and many exercise rings along the trails ,the beautiful sea rich with many different kinds of fishes where yu can use your rod to fish and many more excited things to do , it is a place where yu meet beautiful people to socialize with, the older folks is who I love to socialize with I am in enjoying the beauti of canarsie park

2018-07-07A really fun skate park in an interesting area of Brooklyn. If you want lots of transition, this is not the place for you, a few decent ledges. Various rails and Hubbas. A very good angled manual pad. A few fun banks. I spent a couple hours here and would definitely skate it more often if I lived closer.

2017-06-25There is a great little playground just across the field from the skate park called Canarsie Playground thats the best Ive seen in Brooklyn so far. Its not in Canarsie Park by 102 st but close to the end of Remsen, for some reason Google is not letting me add it as a separate place. It is a gem for little children who need a fun safe place to play. There are also large grass fields where kids can run and play on too.

2019-09-09Some months ago Ive posted pictures of illegal dumping along the trails from Canarsie park to Canarsie pier. Ive stated that the photos will be deleted when the garbage were removed. I am glad to say that garbage has been removed and the photos deleted off Google. Heres the new updated photos.
